I haven't been to a massive amount of live wrestling events in my life. Someday I'd love to get to some more but for now, I'm happy to watch from home. The view is a ton better on my screen than the nosebleeds. Even though I love going to live cards, especially the IPW HOF card in Waterloo each July, I know what you mean about watching from home, Justin. I know there are rumors of WrestleMania coming to U.S. Bank Stadium in 2025. While it would be great for Minnesota to finally get to host a 'Mania, the thought of finding parking, fighting through crowds, and trying to get a view of the ring from the Bank doesn't excite me too much! We'll see what happens. You could skip the actual Mania shows and instead just go to 1 of the many stacked Indie cards that weekend. I'm sure you will find Mr Vegas there!

Depending on the location of the indie cards, that would be fun! There are some great indie promotions around the Twin Cities and I've been to some great cards, especially from Steel Domain Wrestling and Midwest All-star Wrestling. (MAW is promoted by Eli McCausland who used to promote with Troy Peterson from IPW.) The only real bad experience I've had at a MN indie card was in December 2019. A group put on a show hosted by a local radio talk show host. Pat Tanaka was advertised as a special guest but no-showed and no announcement was given. It was held in this local VFW and the wrestlers were almost hitting the ceiling taking back drops! They had a 10-minute intermission on a five-match card, although the intermission turned into closer to 25 minutes. They had an impromptu Street Fight between the heel commissioner and Dirty Ernie (a wrestler who's been around the Cities going back to the '80s). They pulled a "fan" out of the crowd to be the special referee. The fan was supposed to be drunk but he may have actually been! And then they had a no contest for fighting outside of the ring in a Street Fight! After the main event, my younger son was nearly in tears that there were no more matches but I was happy to get out of there! It also wasn't in the nicest neighborhood.

Well I predict that the shows at Wrestlecon and the Collective should be better than the local VFM Shindy. Plus you should also get an ROH Supercard of Honor.

I'm kinda tempted to look into what it might cost to do that and yeah I'd be doing Indy shows if I do.

Yeah I am going to try to go to Mania Weekend both next year in Philadelphia and the following year in 2025 in (probably) Minneapolis. If so, I will go to at least 1 night of Wrestlemania along with going to some Indy shows.

Is that the Dirty Ernie from the Northern Outlaw set some years back? Gamtime, I don't think I ever saw that set but that would make sense.

Gamtime, I don't think I ever saw that set but that would make sense. As a follow-up, I found the Nothern Outlaw set on the "Up to You Promoter" board and yes, that is the same Dirty Ernie.
