Coke or Pepsi: Which do you prefer?
As a bonus question: Do you have a favorite specialty flavor of soda/pop? It doesn't have to be Coke or Pepsi.

I'm a Coke guy myself and I LOVE Vanilla Coke.
Sadly, they stopped selling Vanilla Coke up here in Canada several years ago although they do periodically re-release it for a few months from time to time.
Thankfully the U.S. Border is only about a 40 minute drive from my house so I can head down to Washington every few months to stock up.

Coke but Mt. Dew is on par with it. Those I drink the most. Faygo Rock-n-rye and Grape are also good choices for me.

I've really tried to cut back on pop but my go-to has always been Mountain Dew. I had had a Coke for the first time in a long time recently and it doesn't taste as good as it used to. But Mountain Dew still tastes super good... I shouldn't drink it but I want it... It's a daily struggle...

I very rarely drink soda these days (I have not bought it at the grocery store since 2015.)
But of the two options I would vote for Pepsi. When I was an undergraduate at Washington State in the mid- 1990s, I used to drink the Wild Cherry Pepsi at the cafeteria for the dormitories on campus.

Hi
I've always had Coke! Too bad when the "cola wars" played out that Coke switched the formula, then decided to switch back in the 1980's, because the switch back replaced sugar with corn syrup so the taste was never the same afterwards.
Still drink Coke though. I've gotten a bit addicted to Cherry Coke once the local grocery store had the liter bottles for only 50 cents for a bit during last winter.
On a somewhat related note, last summer I asked a Pepsi delivery guy at the grocery store if he had ever seen the SNL skit with the catch-phrase "No Coke. Pepsi!" He said no, but I remember it still! In case you haven't seen it:
Later!

Walk into a restaurant and order: Everyone: Ill have a Coke Waitress: We have Pepsi Everyone: Sighhhhh... I'm a Liquor Store Supervisor and we get a very similar reaction from our customers as we only carry Pepsi products. This is due to the owner having an exclusive contract with Pepsi for all of his various businesses. On a personal level it's not all bad. Because of that agreement the owner was able to get me free tickets to a Bryan Adams concert a few years ago.
