When I was drinking pop as a teenager it was always Pepsi
Mugg rootbeer is also very good
Besides me, anybody else liked RC Cola?

Just straight "original" version? Pepsi.
Diet versions, Coke is better. Same for most of the specialty flavors (cherry, vanilla, etc.), though last summer Pepsi had a really good mango flavor that I really enjoyed.

Pepsi but not mad on either now. Coke I prefer say vanilla or cherry flavours than the original. Rather have a cold coffee these days

While I'm not the beacon of health, I will say that one of the best things I've ever done was cutting my pop intake by 95%. I used to drink 4 to 5 Mountain Dews a day. About a year ago I took a sip of one and it was horrible.
Like Todd mentioned, when it came to Coke or Pepsi, the cherry flavors were the best. I loved me some root beer too!
These days I'll use Sprite or Coke as a mixer with some lovely Maker's Mark, but that's it.

Pepsi is notorious for stealing from small soda and drink makers. They have such a powerful lobby and lawyer network that they just take what they want and when the little guy tries to fight back they just just bankrupt them in court. Coke probably does the same crap, but I know for a fact Pepsi does it. So does Jack Links beef jerky. They are what is evil today in massive corpo greed. I would encourage anyone to avoid Pepsi products. F those guys. Sorry for the rant but this guy rarely sees opportunity to toss Pepsi under the bus. Had to take it. San Dimas high school football rules!

I have though of picking some up again over last couple years but still have not done it. One memory of it is back in the 80s my mom worked at a hardware store and during the holidays they would get pop in 2 liters in. RC Cola was one flavor along with Crush orange and 7-Up. We usually would get some when on sale and using her discount as it was really cheap. |
