Without knowing contacts and if they are available three schools Pac-12 should target are in the Sun Belt. Marshall and Appalachian State who have good history with football including AS beating my Michigan Wolverines. The third would be James Madison who has been in D1 only three years but just blew out NC.

UNLV and Air Force today both pledged to stay in the Mountain West after the conference gave them both outsized deals to remain. I am not excited about UNLV staying in the Mountain West.

More bad news for the Pac-12. Reggie Bush is suing them, along with USC and NCAA, over NIL compensation. I guess he is low on cash.

Utah State is joining the new PAC-12 who also offered membership to UNLV only for UNLV to turn it down (WTF?)

May I make a suggestion. I think the Pac-12 should rename their conference to the State Eight. I mean they look to have 7 teams right now and all of them have State in their name. Just add one more State, change the conference name and call it a day.

I've been wondering for awhile now if USC will petition to have their BCS/Coaches Poll National Championship reinstated for the 2004 season now that NIL is commonplace. I am a bit unhappy with the Pac-12. They filed a lawsuit against the "poaching penalty" the Mountain West is hitting them with for poaching teams. Washington State and Oregon State knew about it when they signed the deal to schedule Mountain West teams this season. The Pac 2 knew what they were doing. They agreed to it and now that they decided to poach the teams, they do not want to pay the penalty. Either they should have not agreed to the scheduling agreement of they should not have poached the teams. I hope they lose this suit. I want them to do good, but they need to honor their agreements.
