So we need some help settling a debate about a decade late regarding the ONLY HUMAN mechanic on Tharky-boom-boom's card.
I say a human is someone from Earth. I believe in cannon everyone in our solar system originated from Earth; so Mars, Titans, Neptune would be as well. If I'm wrong on that part, it's anyone originally from Earth.
Josh says a human is any humanoid character. The Titans, all Gladiators, King & Queen, Godsend, Mr. E (where in the blue hell is the Fireworks Galaxy?), Burning Man (a Brymstonian), Krakan/Sabre (CTA-102), etc. are all human.
Swarm where you at? I know TK automatically disagrees with me (jk love ya buddy!) Stu? Mike M? Vegas? Butcher?Any thoughts from any and all on the board would be greatly appreciated!

I always got hung up on the human vs humanoid context here which I've always taken a Star Trek stance on.
Human = looks exactly like an Earthling, most likely from Earth. So, in this set up Titans, Gladiators, King & Queen, Godsend would all pass this check for me. So, Burning Man or CTA-102 individuals wouldn't pass this check.
Humanoid = Almost could pass for human but there's usually a minor piece of prosthetic or make up. This is where Star Trek comes in and how they kept cost down and were able to introduce many alien races.

Well if we go by aCe, humans are pretty much how Josh describes them. That's about as official as we'll get from FG. I do believe though Omicronians (which BM originally was) and Brymstonians might slide into the supernatural catgeory.

Okay, I think I side with Josh on this, and to be more specific with my good friend from Denmark. I think his explanation of human vs. humanoid nailed it, and I agree with that stance!

Josh is correct.
Anybody who looks like Tharkas (aliens like other Ravagers, Cygnus wrestlers, Epoch) would be exempt.
Basically if you look at a guy and immediately think “Alien” then that’s not who Tharkas is talking about.
Yes, I know that technically, they’re all aliens. But you know what I mean. 😜

But I get where everyone is coming from in the grand scheme of things. It's got to essentially be green 👽 to be non-human. |

Really only Tom can answer this one, and he’d prob file it under “It’s up to you, Promoter!” but you’re not playing wrong either way. Tharkas is a real interesting character being the only active GWF card that came from Promoter Prime. His first card was a looooong time ago. Every set I expect either an update or for him to leave the fed. |
