Nitro Wrestling 8.37 Jim Ross and Shane Douglas welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Blackjack Mulligan & Eddie Graham vs. Vampiro & Andrew Anderson, as well as a No DQ match between One Man Gang and Hiro Matsuda. JR introduces the first match.
1. Masa Saito with Bobby Heenan vs. Larry Sharpe Saito circles Sharpe after the bell. JR says Heenan is probably trying to hedge his bets at the Sandow Cup and use Saito to take out threats to Mr Wonderful’s title. Saito mauls Sharpe and hits a Russian leg sweep for a two count. Saito hits a suplex on the concrete but Heenan rolls Sharpe back in before he can be counted out. Saito hits the Saito Suplex for the win.

JR says Saito is a tough competitor. Douglas introduces the next match.
2. Wahoo McDaniel vs. Chris Candido Wahoo and Candido battle back and forth. Wahoo hits the falling chop for a two count. Wahoo hits two tomahawk chops but Candido won’t stay down. Wahoo nails Candido with an overhead chop and clamps on the sleeper. Candido taps out.
Winner - Wahoo McDaniel by submission
Douglas says Wahoo is brutal. JR introduces the next match.
3. Hiro Matsuda vs. One Man Gang - No DQ Matsuda and Gang come out throwing bombs and battle all over the ring area. One Man Gang hits a suplex for a two count. Gang hits the 747 for the win.

JR says One Man Gang is a threat to the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title. Douglas introduces the main event.
4. Blackjack Mulligan & Eddie Graham vs. Vampiro & Andrew Anderson Mulligan and Andrews start the match. Andrews mauls Mulligan and works on him with a foreign object. Mulligan makes a comeback on the outside and tags in Eddie Graham. Eddie Graham locks on the figure four but Anderson reaches the ropes. Graham locks on the figure four a second time. Vampiro watches as Anderson taps out, smiling.
Winners - Mulligan and Graham by submission
After the match, the lights go out. When they come back on, Kevin Sullivan is in the ring, attacking Mulligan and Graham with Vampiro and Anderson. Sullivan nails Mulligan with the golden spike as the show goes off the air!

Nitro Wrestling 8.38 Shane Douglas and Jim Ross welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Paul Orndorff vs. Randy Savage for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title, as well as Vampiro vs. Blackjack Mulligan. JR introduces the first match.
1. King Kong Bundy with Bobby Heenan vs. Mr X Bundy lets Mr X get in some offense before crushing him with an elbow drop. Bundy hits the Avalanche for the win.
Winner - King Kong Bundy by pinfall
JR says Nitro Wrestling officials should put a limit on how many wrestlers Heenan can have in the Sandow cup in three weeks. Douglas introduces the next match.
2. Hiro Matsuda vs. Chris Candido Matsuda works Candido over. Candido rolls up Matsuda after a missed turnbuckle charge for a two count. Matsuda blocks the Blonde Bomb and locks on the sleeper. Candido taps out.

JR says Matsuda is fighting his way back into contention. Douglas introduces the next match.
3. Vampiro vs. Blackjack Mulligan Mulligan bulldozes Vampiro and locks on the Blackjack Claw but Vampiro fights him off. Mulligan hits a back elbow ram for a two count and throws Vampiro out of the ring. The two men brawl into the crowd. Vampiro and Blackjack battle all over the ring area. Blackjack hits a body slam for the win.
Winner - Blackjack Mulligan by pinfall
After the match, Kevin Sullivan comes out from under the ring and attacks Mulligan from behind. Vampiro and Sullivan put the boots to Mulligan until security arrives. As they are herded to the back, Sullivan says The Following will swell soon. JR introduces the main event.
4. Paul Orndorff with Bobby Heenan vs. Randy Savage - Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title match Orndorff and Savage battle back and forth. Orndorff hits the stalling vertical suplex for a two count. Orndorff hits an atomic drop for a two count. Orndorff hits the short arm clothesline for a two count. Savage tries getting some offense going and Orndorff shuts him down and hits a forearm drop for a two count. Orndorff hits the jumping piledriver for a two count. Orndorff hits another jumping piledriver for the win.
Winner - Paul Orndorff by pinfall, his fourth title defense
After the match, Bad News Allen jumps the guardrail and nails Paul Orndorff with a Ghetto Blaster! Bad News puts the boots to Orndorff as the show goes off the air.

Nitro Wrestling 8.39 Jim Ross and Shane Douglas welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Blackjack Mulligan vs. Kevin Sullivan! JR says that Paul Orndorff has signed to face Bad News Allen next week in the main event with the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title on the line!
1. Hiro Matsuda vs. Mr X Mr X gets in some offense and hits a suplex for a two count. Matsuda comes back and locks on the sleeper. Mr X taps out.
Winner - Hiro Matsuda by submission
JR says Matsuda could win the whole Sandow Cup tournament in two weeks. Douglas introduces the next match.
2. Brian Blair vs. Bobby Shane Blair starts strong but Shane hits the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Shane locks on the Japanese Sleeper and Blair taps out.

Douglas says Shane is his pick to win the Sandow cup. JR introduces the next match.
3. Mr Saito with Bobby Heenan vs. Scott Taylor Saito spends the opening minutes torturing Taylor but making no attempt to cover him. Taylor rolls up Saito in small package for a two count. Saito is soon back in control and wears Taylor down with the Prison Lock. Saito hits a vertical suplex for the win.

Douglas says Mr Saito is going to be tough to beat in the Sandow Cup. JR introduces the main event, adding that The Following is banned from ringside.
4. Blackjack Mulligan vs. Kevin Sullivan Mulligan mauls Sullivan and hits the big boot to the face for a two count. Sullivan makes a comeback and nails the Tree of Woe for a two count. The match spills out of the ring and Sullivan drills Mulligan with the golden spike. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Blackjack Mulligan by DQ
Sullivan continues attacking Mulligan and his face is a crimson mask as the show goes off the air.

Nitro Wrestling 8.40 Jim Ross and Shane Douglas welcome the fans to the final show before the Sandow Cup tournament kicks off next week. JR plugs the main event, Paul Orndorff vs. Bad News Allen for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title. Douglas says Mulligan was treated and released from a local medical facility last week and says he will compete in the Sandow Cup next week, doctor’s orders be damned. JR introduces the first match.
1. Johnny Valentine vs. Bob Cook Valentine mauls Cook and wears him down with a sleeper. Valentine hits the atomic skullcrusher but Cook kicks out. Valentine hits two more Atomic Skullcrushers for the win.
Winner - Johnny Valentine by pinfall
Douglas says Valentine could walk out with the Sandow Cup. JR introduces the next match.
2. Kevin Sullivan vs. Doug Gilbert Sullivan tortures Gilbert. Gilbert makes a comeback and nails Sullivan with a foreign object for a two count. Sullivan turns it around and hits the tree of woe for a two count. Sullivan nails GIlbert with a foreign object and hits the released gut wrench for the win.
Winner - Kevin Sullivan by pinfall
After the match, Sullivan gives Gilbert three piledrivers. Gilbert has to be stretchered out. JR introduces the next match.
3. Steve Keirn vs. King Kong Bundy with Bobby Heenan Bundy squashes Keirn and covers him after the Avalanche. The referee counts three and Bundy demands a five count! Keirn gets his shoulder up! Bundy hits another Avalanche but Keirn gets his foot on the ropes. Keirn makes a comeback and nails Bundy with a flying forearm for a two count! Bundy makes a comeback and whips Keirn to the buckles. Keirn boots Bundy in the face and covers him for a two count! Bundy makes a comeback and hits a third Avalanche for the win.

4. Vampiro vs. Eddie Graham Vampiro gets the upper hand and things quickly break down. The match spills out of the ring. Graham and Vampiro battle all over the ring area. Vampiro hits an uranage for a two count. Graham blocks a superkick and locks on the figure four but Vampiro fights his way to the ropes. Graham hits a diving knee drop for a two count. Graham stomps Vampiro and covers him for a two count. Vampiro and Graham battle back and forth. Graham hits an atomic knee drop for a two count. Graham locks on the figure four again but Vampiro gets to the ropes. Graham locks on the figure four a third time and Vampiro taps out.

Kevin Sullivan comes out to help Vampiro attack Eddie Graham but Blackjack Mulligan, his eye taped up, comes out of the crowd and attacks Vampiro and Sullivan with a chair. Security pours out of the back. Once order is restored, JR introduces the next match.
5. The Crusher vs. One Man Gang with Oliver Humperdink The Crusher and One Man Gang battle all over the ring area. One Man Gang hits a falling face slam for a two count. The Crusher makes a comeback and nails Gang with a Crusher Bolo for a two count. The One Man Gang and the Crusher repeatedly brawl outside the ring, stopping only to break the count. Gang hits a suplex on the concrete and The Crusher is nearly counted out. One Man Gang hits a clothesline for a two count. The Gang hits another clothesline for a two count. The match spills out of the ring. The Crusher nails The One Man Gang with a chair and is disqualified.

Nitro Wrestling 8.41 Jim Ross and Shane Douglas welcome the fans to the first half of the opening round of the Sandow Cup. JR says they’ll stay out of the way and let the matches speak for themselves.
1. Brian Blair vs. Bobby Shane Blair and Shane grapple back and forth. Blair hits a running clothesline for a two count. Blair locks on the Cobra Clutch and Shane taps out.
Winner - Brian Blair by submission
2. Blackjack Mulligan vs. Ted DiBiase DiBiase and Mulligan battle back and forth. Mulligan locks on the Blackjack Claw but DiBiase escapes the hold. DiBiase makes a comeback and hits a full power slam for a two count. DiBiase tells the referee the turnbuckle pad is loose and nails Mulligan with the loaded glove. Mulligan goes down, bleeding everywhere for his injured eye. DiBiase covers him for the three count.
Winner - Ted DiBiase by pinfall. DiBiase will wrestle Brian Blair in round 2
3. Eddie Graham vs. Angelo Mosca Mosca bulldozes Graham and hits an elbow drop for a two count. Mosca hits an elbow smash to the face. Graham tries making a comeback but Mosca overpowers him. Graham fires up and hits a diving knee drop for a two count. Graham and Mosca brawl on the outside. Mosca comes out on top and locks on the Sleeper but Graham escapes the hold. Mosca hits another elbow smash to the face. Mosca hits a big right hand and covers Graham for the win.
