Probably Jericho and Sting will do the job. 🙃

Though I'm on the record as thinking in his final match he should pass the torch and give a rub to that youngster Jeff Jarrett, I think Sting's final match should be a cinematic match. That way they can work safely around his limitations and make him look good. Not unlike how the Boneyard Match did for Taker. Also, having it be a cinematic match would allow for cameos by a bunch of folks from Sting's past like Flair, Anderson, DDP, Paul White, Luger maybe even.

J-E-Double-F J-A-Double-R-E-Double-T. This is a great answer I hadn’t considered. I have to believe Flair is involved somehow, in someone’s corner or tag partner. Unless Sting just absolutely refuses to have him involved, which would be understandable.

I don't completely hate this idea but I feel like Sting is still phyiscally capable of a half-ways decent short match against someone to put an exclamation point on his career. But a cinematic match like that as one of his last few matches could be really fun.

I'd like to see Sting vs. Adam Copeland for the first time as Sting's last match.

I remember a big retirement where the final opponent made sense storyline-wise and was rightfully vilified.
Storylines are vastly overrated. Two guys fighting just to see who is better is always the best storyline.
It doesn't have to be an overwrought soap opera, and it sure isn't cinema.

Based on the way Dynamite ended tonight, it appears Sting's final match at Revolution will be Sting and Darby Allin vs the Young Bucks.

Which makes sense, as DARBY and BUCKS can carry the match load with STING getting the FINAL pin.

It might be that way. OR, as I think it might be, they will have people come out like the Bucks did on a weekly or almost weekly basis to try and throw their hat into the ring. Be it single wrestlers or tag team wrestlers. Of course, some, i.e. heels, will be more vocal than the Bucks were.
