WARNING, WARNING: RANT UPCOMING!!!!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED: Ok, I'm getting REALLY sick and tired of these new Tampax commercials with Amy Schumer! They're EVERYWHERE: Every single TV commercial break plus they keep constantly interrupting EVERY SINGLE YOUTUBE VIDEO I WATCH!!!!!! Here's one of them so you can understand my misery. I feel really bad for the guy in this commercial; Amy interrupts the movie he's watching, gives away the ending of it and ruins his drink. m.youtube.com/watch?v=6rmF0Zm7f94Tampax: If I buy a box of your tampons will you stop tormenting me with your annoying advertisements? I'll do it if the answer is yes. I thought that was an old campaign. Maybe they are doing a second round. At least she is on brand for her. They look annoying but I might take them over the endless commercials for different law firms I get along with the stupid phone sexy ones.

I just recently saw them for the first time so I assumed that they're new. Those law firm ads might be annoying but look at it this way: If you ever have to sue someone you'll likely remember some of those commercials and know you've got plenty of options. Just trying to help you see the silver lining.😀

I still need to watch the original Deadpool; especially considering it was filmed in my hometown. See how many local landmarks I can spot. You haven't...I mean after all this...how have you not...are you bleepin serious? Here I thought you were uber cool and ya haven't seen Deadpool. Sigh I know. I used to be "hip" and "with it" but over time I've just become a great big square.

I long ago stopped trying.
Haven't seen Deadpool either and doubt I could deal with all the language.

I am going to this annual AP World History Summit here in Las Vegas on Monday through Thursday this week for 8 hours a day. I could instead be enjoying the remainder of my Summer break right now but I voluntarily go to this Summit as this is something that helps me on my annual evaluation even before the year actually starts and I learn some things I can utilize in my class.
But they are long days (and somewhat tedious as most of my day is just sitting and listening to the teacher talk for 8 hours) so when this Summit ends on Thursday and I have 5 more days until my work year officially starts next Wednesday, I don't do anything school related on those 5 days.
So I am thinking of going to see Trap on Friday. The trailers sort of have me interested in this movie. I might also go downtown as there are a couple restaurants there I have not eaten at yet that sound good.

Yea Trap is an interesting idea inspired by a true event but on a much smaller scale. The movie is much different than the impression I originally got for it.

If you get bored during the teacher's lecture just do what Tom did all those years ago and create a game to amuse yourself. It worked out pretty good for him.😀

I love disaster movies and found one on YouTube last night called "Meteor". Looks like it was made for TV in 2009. Starring Jason Alexander (yup, George), Ernie Hudson, Christopher Lloyd, Billy Campbell, and Michael Rooker (who always plays a slightly-off dude in every movie he's in).
However, the highlight was an actress named Marla Sokoloff, who played Gia on "Fuller House". Total hottie, LOL. Of course she's in distress and just gets into one bad situation after another.
As can be expected with these types of movies, bad special effects and way too many subplots going on. One of those "it's so cheesy that it's entertaining" movies. I watched part 1 last night and will try to catch part 2 tonight.

On my laptop Microsoft has a little icon in the bottom left hand corner that shows weather, stocks, news and other such things. I am sure you all have it too unless you have an Apple product. Today it is showing "very hot weather". Well, that sure is informative.
