At the theater to see my secret movie and NO ONE to take tickets. People lining up. How unprofessional.

I saw the Secret series movie tonight. Before it started they did one of those "if you are watching your movies on a small screen" commercials to encourage going to the movies and it was for Kraven the Hunter. I was hoping it was a sign that it was the movie. But when the movie started it was not Marvel Studios and knew I had no luck.

The movie was in fact Gladiator II. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to follow as I have never seen the original. Like when you are going to watch Bubble Bottom 6 and you haven't seen the first five. But like Bubble Bottom the plot of Gladiator II is simple and easy to follow. The connections and mentions to the first one were able to pick up as I had a basic idea of how the original played out. As far as this movie it was entertaining. Nothing that blew me away but enjoyable enough. I felt bad for all the extras that got dressed up for a big scene and ended up not doing much.

Too bad the movie wasn't Kraven; I know you were kraven to see it.😁(Sorry, I couldn't resist). At least the movie you watched was decent enough. I'll likely see Gladiator II sometime next month.

Speaking of Gladiator I was just joking around earlier in this thread when I made the connection with Airplane but I turned out to be right. I'm usually wrong when it comes to predicting the future but I guess I was bound to be right eventually; even a blind squirrel finds the occasional nut.

Random ramblings:

Godzilla Minus One comes out today on dvd/blu-ray. Great movie.

I finally finished watching the final season of the Flash. Good enough ending to the show.

Now I'm watching the final season of Titans.

I have not made it to the theater yet to see Venom 3.

I forgot to mention when talking about seeing Gladiator II but not Kraven that while I did not get to see THE Rhino in Kraven, I did get to see A rhino in Gladiator. There are three crazy scenes in the coliseum but only one was made up. It seems there are records of the other two having had happened at least once. Crazy Romans.

I've been watching "The Unit" on Hulu. Was on CBS from 2006-2009. Sort of like a modern-day A-Team. Pretty good show!
