Today starts Fat Bear Week. Just an FYI, it does not have anything to do with fat, hairy homosexual men but actual real fat bears in a park in Alaska.

Holy shit this is starting to piss me off. I typed a big write up and went to save it and got an error message. I hit the back button to copy what I wrote for later and it was gone. Second time today but this was the worst.

Tonight I saw Joker: Folie à Deux but I really did not care for it too much.
I give this movie a C.

I finally got around to buying those Coca-Cola flavored Oreos that Vegas mentioned in a different thread a few weeks ago. In my opinion they're just OK. They do taste like Coca-Cola but I don't think it's a flavor that works in cookie format. I'll finish the pack but I don't see myself buying them again. Kudos to Oreo for trying something new and unique though. Sometimes those unusual flavor pairings work; like those Roast Chicken flavored potato chips that Lays releases every now & then.

Got to love weather "experts". For days they have been saying the disturbance in the Mexican Gulf would not do anything. The conditions were not there for it to form into a tropical storm. It would just be breezy and rainy. Now, it will be a hurricane and could be Cat 2 or even 3. Likely to hit the Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater area. Winds of over 100 MPH when it likely hits Wednesday night and on Thursday night it will be on East coast with winds of 75 MPH. They are calling winds of 75 MPH for us on Wednesday. This storm might go right over Lakeland. Yea. I get to celebrate my 43rd straight day of working with a hurricane. Oh well. Silver lining is the temps are forecast for highs of 80-82 this week with some lows below 70. Fall has arrived.

Hi
Has anyone seen the new "Salem's Lot"?
I didn't find the original scary, but the new one looks really good! Here's the trailer:
Let me know how it is, won't you?

I'm guessing this is a third one since they redid it once before.

I'm guessing this is a third one since they redid it once before. Hi Yeah, it's a remake! I guess HBO Max did this up recently and it just dropped a few days ago. If you watch the movie, let me know how it is! Todd C WTIC

Things sure can change fast in a week. Last week the storm in the Gulf was nothing. Now it is being called a Once-In-A-Lifetime Storm and it could be worst storm to hit Tampa in 100 years. I feel really bad for the people over there trying to recover from Helene. I mean there are homes that have all their belongs on the curb waiting to be picked up as all of it is waterlogged and worthless. If they do not get it all picked up that shit will be flying once the 100 mph winds hit.
