Global Tag Team Championship Tournament
Pre show preview:
Along with the tournament for the Global Tag Team Championship we have a special grudge match tonight. Screw, angry over the attacks by Santon The Loner, has asked for a match tonight in an attempt to get some payback. Santon has not said what his issue is with Screw. In fact, he continues to not say anything at all.
A video message from The Crosscurrents where they talk about how they should be in this tournament but an underhanded attack by Defiance kept them out. They will be back soon, and they will make Defiance pay. One way or another.
Semifinal matches:
#1 Dorado Sundown (none) beat #4 Paladin Power (Solar Flare-1) via pinfall when they performed Rustlers Stampede on Solar Flare and Bullwhip pinned him (1 star)
#2 Defiance (none) beat #3 The Mensans (Cordsar-3, Trotarus-2) via submission when Jammer submitted Cordsar to Bad Night (2 stars)
Screw (2) beat Santon The Loner (2) in a grudge match via pinfall after a middle rope clothesline (4 stars)
Finals match:
#1 Dorado Sundown (Blacklash-3) beat #2 Defiance (Jammer-5, Blood-2) via pinfall when Bullwhip pinned Blood after Twelve O'Clock High to become the first ever Global Tag Team Champions (4 stars)
Post show recap:
Dorado Sundown cut the ring in half and kept Solar Flare in their half. At one-point Solar Flare got on the offense but did not tag out and it cost him. He tried to tag while on the defense but Bullwhip pulled him back to Dorado Sundown's corner. A minute later they hit their tag finisher and got the win to move on to the finals
Defiance just took The Mensans apart and took every chance they could to inflict pain and to try and humiliate their opponents. After they won to move on to the finals to face Dorado Sundown, Blood and Jammer made the belt gesture around their waists
Screw and Santon The Loner had a brutal grudge match. Each man got on a roll and took the fight to the other. First it was Screw and he seemed to have the win when he hit his finisher but Santon kicked out just in time. Then Santon got going but he could not put Screw away. Finally, Screw fought back and picked up the W. But is this the end of their feud? If not, what is next for each man?
The main even was a brutal war with both teams giving it their own to win the tag titles. Early on Defiance had Blacklash in trouble. It looked like Blood was going to make him submit to Scar Tissue but Bullwhip ran in and broke the hold. Not long after it was Dorado Sundown's turn as they started to work over Jammer. Tough as Jammer is he survived Twelve O'Clock High three times. After a Dorado Power Drop, Blood came in to make the save. Jammer finally was able to tag out and Blood came in but he could get nothing going and Bullwhip finally pinned him.
As Dorado Sundown were celebrating their victory Defiance jumped them from behind. After tossing Blacklash out of the ring they held Bullwhip down. Blood lit his cigar and went to stick it in Bullwhip's eye. Luckly for Bullwhip he was able to move his head while struggling against Blood's arm and instead of his eye the lit cigar burned into his forehead. Before more damage could be done Omega, Morpheus and security ran down to pull Defiance off of Bullwhip. Omega yelled, "What do you think you are doing?" A big, evil grin crossed Blood's face and he answered, "Whatever we have to do to get the job done. This won't be your company for long." With that Defiance left the ring and headed toward the back. Omega looked after them and then at Morpheus with a worried expression on his face as the medical staff came down to check on Bullwhip and Blacklash.

Pre show preview:
Omega and Morpheus are seen talking about Defiance and what Blood might have meant by "this won't be your company for long". Morpheus says he has heard nothing about anyone trying to buy them out. Omega says they just need to keep their eyes open and on Defiance.
Tonight, will be the debut of a new wrestler, Torpor, who signed at the same time as Santon The Loner.
The Global Champion, Omega, and the Global Tag Team Champions, Dorado Sundown, will face off against Torin Caelum and Defiance in a Tios match in the main event. None of the titles will be on the line.
K.O. Kellar (none) beat Torpor (2) via pinfall after K.O. Flury (3 stars)
The Mensans (none) beat Paladin Power (Solar Flare-1) when Cordsar submitted Solar Flare with Mensan Lock (2 stars)
Morpheus (none) beat Screw (4) via submission from a cobra clutch (2 stars)
Omega and Dorado Sundown (none) beat Torin Caelum and Defiance (Jammer-3) in a Trios match via pinfall when Bullwhip pinned Jammer after Twelve O'Clock High
Post show recap:
The champions rolled over their opposition. Omega started against Jammer and in the first minute performed Tomahawk Thrust, but Jammer kicked out at two. Omega tagged Blacklash who then tagged his tag partner Bullwhip and they hit their tag finisher, Rustler's Stampede. Sensing his partner was in big trouble, Blood came in to try and break the pin attempt. He was cut off by Blacklash. Jammer was still able to kick out in the nick of time. Torin Caelum just stood on the apron looking disinterested. Bullwhip tried to finish Jammer off with his finisher. The first time it did not work but he got the win after the second Twelve O'Clock High.
Blood comes over after the bell and shakes Jammer. He is telling Jammer that was not a good performance. Meanwhile, Torin Caelum asked for a microphone. "Omega, I only accepted this match to face you but that was not to be. Well, I am challenging you to a match on our next show in Detroit for your Global Championship. What do you say?" Omega smiles and nods his head. It seems we have our main event for the last show of 2074.

Pre show preview:
A video challenge from Commander Sam that was released a couple days ago. He says he is tired of losing and he will turn things around. He is throwing out an open challenge for the last show of the year.
Then a video message from Torpor. He says Commander Sam ducked him during the war and been ducking him since. If Sam wants an opponent for the show in Detroit, he can just stop ducking. Torpor is his opponent.
Thetis says he is healed and now The Crosscurrents will swim toward the Global Tag Team Championship. They will roll over Defiance like a tidal wave on the way.
Torpor (none) beat Commander Sam (3) via pinfall after Cygnus Air Raid (2 stars)
Santon The Loner (none) beat Ricken Prince (none) via pinfall after Headbanger's Ball (2 stars)
Paladin Power (none) beat The Crosscurrents (Thetis-2) via pinfall when Solar Flare pinned Thetis after Paladin Missile (2 stars)
Omega (none) beat Torin Caelum (1) in a Global Championship match via pinfall with a back roll press to retain the title (1 star)
Post show recap:
Commander Sam's losing streak continues. When will he finally pick up a win?
As Santon The Loner was leaving ringside after his win, he grabbed a fan's sign that had a picture of Screw on it, and he ripped the sign up.
Thetis appeared to be dealing with side effects from his injury. Perhaps he returned to action too soon?
Omega rolled over Torin Caelum in a statement match to show he is the best and Torin is not a threat to him or his title.
The next show, the first of 2075, will be held in the famous Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

Hopefully Commander Sam's recent losing streak isn't as long as the Pistons.

As we bid farewell to 2074 and give a big hello to 2075, we figured it was time to bring back an old tradition. Considering professional wrestling is legal again we are going to give out our annual awards. We included POW from the before wrestling was legal days to have a full year to choose from. So, with no further ado, here are our Yearly awards for 2074.
Wrestler of the Year 2074 - Omega POW/GWF
The man was dominating in POW including a run with their top prize and has been pretty darn good since forming GWF. What will 2075 bring for Omega? Probably some stiff competition.
Tag Team of the Year 2074 - Hooligans (Blotto & Slug) POW
Some could argue they are not deserving of this award as it seems pretty obvious that Jack Hood has looked out for them as they have looked out for him. What with run-ins and questionable referee calls to help them keep the belts and all. But the fact is they were the champs for most of 2074 over three title reigns.
Match of the Year 2074 - Omega vs Morpheus for the POW Heavyweight Championship (March 2074)
Two of the best in POW went toe to toe over the POW Heavyweight Championship three times in 2074 with Omega winning two of those meetings. One of his wins was defending the title in this match that went 59 minutes and 51 seconds. It was a match for the ages and deserving of this award. Now the question is, when will we see these two frenemies do battle in GWF?
In other wrestling news the GWF made another signing. Seamus Pollack will be making his GWF debut sometime soon.

January 2075
Tokyo Dome
Tokyo, Japan
Commander Sam (none) beat Seamus Pollack (2) via pinfall after Sam's Atomic Drop (2 stars)
Paladin Power (none) beat The Mensans (Cordsar-1) via pinfall after Moonstrike hit Cordsar with Paladin Drop (1 star)
Morpheus (none) beat K.O. Keller (2) via pinfall with a head stomp (1 star)
Dorado Sundown (none) beat Defiance (Jammer-2) in a Global Tag Team Championship match via pinfall when Bullwhip hit Twelve O'Clock High on Jammer to retain (1 star)
Post show recap:
Commander Sam finally got the monkey off his back. It looked like it might happen when he hit his finisher and Pollack kicked out. But Sam finally put him away for his first W in GWF. He was pumped up after. Then Torpor appeared on the jumbotron. He did a slow golfclap and gave an unsincere congratulations to Commander Sam. Torpor said Sam finally found someone more pathetic than Sam himself.
After his team's loss Trotarus got in his partner's face. He told Cordsar that he needs to start carrying his weight.
Morpheus threw Keller out of the ring and when Keller got back in the ring Morpheus hit his finisher. Keller kicked out. Morpheus followed with a head stomp and a cover that led to another 2 count. A fuming Morpheus hit another head stomp and got the pin. Before leaving the ring, he hit Keller with a third head stomp for good measure.
After losing in their title shot Defiance appeared to be down in the dumps. It was just a smokescreen because soon as the champs turned their backs Defiance attacked Dorado Sundown. The teams were brawling in the ring and ended up fighting on the floor. Then security and GWF officials came out and pulled the teams apart.
GWF is coming back to the US as their next show will be in Atlanta, GA. It will be a night of feuds as The Crosscurrents finally get a rematch with Defiance. Thetis will be looking for payback. Screw will face Santon The Loner and Commander Sam will take on Torpor. It will be a hot night in Hotlanta.

January 2075
Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Atlanta, GA USA
Pre show preview:
Trotarus said it is time for some tough love. Thus, he has scheduled the match against his tag partner Cordsar.
Trotarus (none) beat Cordsar (2) via submission with Mensan Lock (2 stars)
Commander Sam (2) beat Torpor (3) via pinfall after Star Spangled Banner (3 stars)
Screw (none) beat Santon The Loner (1) via pinfall with Freakish Face Slam (3 stars)
Defiance (none) beat The Crosscurrents (Vortex-2 Thetis-3) via submission when Blood used Scar Tissue on Vortex (3 stars)
Post show recap:
Trotarus was dominating his tag partner. He applied the Mensan Lock and it looked like that match would be over. But Cordsar kept trying to drag himself to the ropes. He finally got there and the referee made Trotarus break the hold. The leader of The Mensans got up and looked down at his partner. He then tossed him out of the ring and waited patiently for Cordsar to get back in the ring. Later after an unsuccessful pin attempt Trotarus applied his finisher again and this time after a minute and a half Cordsar had no strength to get to the ropes and he tapped out. After the match Trotarus yanked Cordsar up to his feet. It looked like he would attack Cordsar but he just gave him a couple respectful slaps to the chest and nodded his head. It seems Trotarus was satisfied with his partner's performance.
Commander Sam started slow but started to get rolling. He hit Star Spangled Banner and seemed to have the win but Torpor kicked out right before three. Sam was frustrated and tossed Torpor out of the ring. Then blinded by rage he went out after Torpor and Torpor caught him going thru the ropes. Torpor got in the ring and used his finisher but Sam kicked out. Sam showed some American toughness and finally put Torpor away with a third Star Spangled Banner.
Screw and Santon The Loner had a really good back and forth match. After winning Screw tried to rip the wrappings around Santon's face off. The referee had to pull Screw off Santon who ran off to the back as soon as the referee got Screw off of him.
After winning their match Defiance kept attacking The Crosscurrents. The time keeper was ringing the bell over and over but it did no good. Neither did warnings from the referee. Finally, Omega ran down and got in Defiance faces. Blood was yelling at Omega but Jammer pulled him away and told him to go calm down. Blood rolled out to the floor and Jammer turned to Omega. Jammer was apologizing and said he and Blood just got carried away. As Omega is telling Jammer they need to keep their emotions in check Blood rolled in behind him with a chair and slammed it into Omega's back. As Omega fell to the mat Jammer started to laugh. He high fived Blood after Blood dropped the chair onto Omega. The two men leave the ring, headed to the back, and as they get close to a cameraman Blood said, "I told you chief, this company is headed to the graveyard. Your days are numbered. The end is coming. Time is running out. Tick tock, tick tock."

Thank you, sir. Sam has a major weakness written into his card. He has a low agility yet 2 of his L1 moves are agility moves. Thus, if he is facing someone with better agility which is likely, and he rolls on L1 he has a 1 in 3 chance of losing control due to that issue. Sam may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but he should be smart enough to not try a pair of agility moves when power is his strength. One move is fine. Two, in this situation, is more for an enhancement talent or a dumb wrestler.
