February 2075
Hard Rock Stadium
Miami, FL USA
Pre show preview:
Trotarus is talking to Cordsar. He says Cordsar impressed Trotarus in their match, but he still needs to get better. He has set up hurdles via matches for Cordsar to overcome. That starts tonight.
Morpheus is in the locker room working with a strength band as he gets ready for his match tonight. Omega is sitting on the bench in the middle of the room. He tells Morpheus they have had their difference, but they put them aside to help form GWF and now they need to work together to protect it. He says he does not know what Defiance is up to, but they are a threat to GWF. Morpheus stops working out and says he will agree to work with Omega to stand up to them. He just wants one thing. He points to the Global Championship Belt laying on the bench next to Omega. He wants a title shot. Omega is silent then slowly nods his head.
Torin Caelum (none) beat Cordsar (3) via submission with Caelum's Grip (1 star)
K.O. Keller (none) beat Seamus Pollack (1) via pinfall after K.O Heart Punch (1 star)
Paladin Power (none) beat Defiance (Jammer-1) via pinfall when Solar Flare pinned Jammer after a Paladin Missile (1 star)
Morpheus (3) beat Ricken Prince (none) via DQ (2 stars)
Post show recap:
Cordsar's did not get over his first hurdle. He fought hard but Torin's arsenal of submission holds was too much.
The tag match ended up being a singles match with no tags. Solar Flare made a fast pin attempt after a leg sweep and then followed it up with his finisher to pick up a shockingly quick win. That did not sit well with Defiance who got in a fight with Paladin Power after the match. Then The Crosscurrents ran down trying to get their hands on Defiance. They ended up just getting in Paladin Power's way allowing Defiance to escape the melee and run up the ramp. Paladin Power were not happy with The Crosscurrents getting involved in their business.
Ricken Prince slapped Morpheus to start their match which was not the best move. Morpheus started tearing into Ricken Prince. Then Ricken fought back. After a couple pin attempts on Morpheus, he used Royal Decree but Morpheus kicked out with force at two. Ricken tossed Morpheus out of the ring. Morpheus quickly re-entered the ring and flipped Ricken off with both hands. That angered Ricken who tossed Morpheus back out of the ring and went to the floor after him. He then grabbed a chair and smashed Morpheus with it giving the referee no choice but to end the match. Ricken Prince was not happy but just tossed the chair into the ring, waved off Morpheus and the referee and then returned to the back. Morpheus smiles as the referee raised his arm as the victor.

Pre show preview:
A commotion from earlier in the day as Paladin Power and The Crosscurrents both want a match with Defiance tonight. A large contingent of security were keeping the two teams away from Defiance. Blood says the only way to decide who gets a match against them is for the Paladin Power and The Crosscurrents to face each other tonight. The winner can lose to Defiance on the next show. The teams agree to this and spend several moments staring daggers into each other. This made Blood smile as he puffed on his cigar.
As the live show began loud pulse pounding heavy metal rock music is heard and out comes a new wrestler to GWF. It is Artavius the Virus. He grabs a microphone and enters the ring. He says he is here and will spread thru GWF till everyone is cheering his name. But for now he is looking for an opponent. Who in the back is man enough to step up and be infected by the Virus. His challenge is answered by Commander Sam and the first match is off and running.
Artavius the Virus (2) beat Commander Sam (none) via countout (2 stars)
Torpor (1) beat Cordsar (1) via pinfall after Cygnus Air Raid (3 stars)
Torin Caelum (none) beat Screw (5) via submission with Caelum's Grip (3 stars)
Paladin Power (none) beat The Crosscurrents (Vortex-1, Thetis-2) when Moonstrike pinned Vortex after a superkick (3 stars)
Post show recap:
Commander Sam seemed on his way to a second victory, but he could not put Artavius away even after a second Star Spangled Banner. He started to get frustrated and lost focus. It allowed Artavius to get going. He threw Sam out of the ring and then wiped him out with a suicide dive thru the ropes. Artavius rolled in the ring and ordered the referee to start the count. Sam could not make it in the ring in time.
Cordsar looked like he might pick up the win, but Torpor fought out of a Mensan Lock. Then Torpor was able to make a comeback and get the win.
Screw took a beating, but he did not go down easy. Early on he was caught in Caelum's Grip but seemed to easily get out of the hold. Action swung from one man to the other. But Torin Caelum did more damage to his opponent than Screw. In the end Screw was forced to tap.
Early on in the main event Paladin Power kept Vortex on their side of the ring. Vortex tried to make a defensive tag but could not make it. After several minutes he was able to counter and tag out. Things did not go better for The Currents as Paladin Power worked Thetis over. From there momentum went back and forth. It was announced there was a minute left in the match. A bit after that Moonstrike rocked Vortex with a superkick and picked up the win.

March 2075
The O2 Arena
London, England
Pre show preview:
As Defiance arrive to the arena before the matches Paladin Power walk up. Solar Flare says tonight Paladin Power get their hands on Defiance and will win the tag match. Blood laughs and says they have no tag match tonight. He explains that all he said was the winner of the main event on the last show would get to lose to Defiance. It will be in singles matches. He goes on to say since Moonstrike is by far the better of the two members of Paladin Power it will be Blood himself who faces him. He then apologizes to Jammer for leaving him with the weak link on Paladin Power in Solar Flare. Jammer just shrugs his shoulders and then Defiance walk off leaving a frustrated Moonstrike and an angry looking Solar Flare.
Artavius the Virus is jamming to his tunes in the locker room. He sees the camera and smiles. "Do you feel that? Do you feel it pulsating thru your veins?" That is the love of me infecting you to your core. You are feeling the Virus and your worship will soon be unavoidable. Soon, all you will want is to see me in action and pick up another W. I will reward you with one tonight. Catch the Virus!"
Seamus Pollack (none) beat Cordsar (none) via submission with a Single Leg Boston Crab (1 star)
K.O. Keller (none) beat Artavius the Virus (none) via pinfall after The Ten Count (1 star)
Jammer (1) beat Solar Flare (4) via disqualification (3 stars)
Moonstrike (1) beat Blood (0) via pinfall after Paladin Drop (2 stars)
Post Show recap:
Cordsar started on the attack but before he knew what happened Seamus had him on the defensive and he ended up submitting to the Single Leg Boston Crab. As Seamus celebrated his first win in GWF Cordar's tag partner, Trotarus, came down to the ring and attacked him from behind. After laying Seamus out Trotarus pointed at him and yelled at Cordsar. "You lost to him? HIM? This is getting ridiculace. Stand up and get your <bleep> into the back". Cordsar did as he was told with Trotarus following him, chewing him out the whole way.
Artavius came out to Black Sabbath's Children of the Grave and the London fans ate it up. They were cheering for him during the match and it got him off to a hot start. It came to a quick end when Keller overpowered him and finished him off.
Jammer dominated Solar Flare but could not finish him off. Even after applying Bad Night. The match ended up on the floor with Jammer choking Flare and mocking him. Flare snapped, fought out and quickly grabbed a chair. Before the referee could even warn him not to Flare smacked Jammer with the chair. As Jammer laid on the ground Flare tried to shove the top of the chair into Jammer's throat. The referee ended the match and when Flare heard the bell he came back to his senses and flung the chair into the empty ring.
The main event was going Blood's way. Then he went to the top rope. Moonstrike ran up the ropes and the two battled on the top rope. Moonstrike hit a belly to belly suplex off the top. He then went back to the top and nailed Blood with his finisher to get the win.
A promo for the Old School PPV. It will happen in the iconic arena for wrestling and the place the first GWF show took place, Madison Square Garden in New York, New York USA. Three matches have been signed so far.

Hi Nice fight card with some solid action! Reading about Artivius jamming to some tunes make me IMMEDIATELY think that someone in the locker room would want him to shut off that racket, ala... LOL! Also, if it really is an "Old School" PPV, shouldn't it be called a SUPERCARD instead? Later! Todd C WTIC

You would be correct if it was an Old School pay per view but in reality, it is a pay per view NAMED Old School. Thanks for following and the comments.

It is almost time for the GWF's first PPV event, Old School. Let's do a quick rundown on the matches.
Omega will defend the GWF Global Championship against his frenemy and biggest rival, Morpheus. It will be a Best of 3 Falls match. Just like things used to be done in professional wrestling. So, when the dust settles, we will know who the better man is.
Dorado Sundown will be defending their GWF Global Tag Team Championship against the controversial team of Defiance. This will also be a Best of 3 Falls match. Can the champs hold off the team who causes chaos wherever they go?
In a feud match, Screw will face off against Santon The Loner in a cage match. This is a match that goes back decades and is known for it's brutality. It will be appropriate enough contested under old school cage rules. That means escape is not an option. You have to win by pin or submission. If someone does escape they will be disqualified and their opponent declared the winner. I have a feeling neither of these two will want that outcome to happen. The action WILL stay inside of the ring and the cage that surrounds it.
In one of two matches just announced earlier today Commander Sam of Earth will face off against his rival Torpor of Cygnus in a match with a special stipulation. The winner will have his anthem played at the end of the match and the loser must stand next to him and show respect during the playing of said anthem.
The other match is being called an Earn Your Spot match. GWF signed two new wrestlers to their roster. They are Scuff and Lao-Rae. (Their pictures show up on screen) Wow, those are two faces only their mother could love. The winner of this match will be added to shows following the PPV where the loser will have to go thru more training before making their official debut.
Officials have said one or maybe even two more matches might be added to the card. We will pass on that information as we get it.

Scotiabank Arena
Toronto, ON Canada
Pre show preview:
Trotarus tells Cordsar that it time for him to learn how to win up close and personal. So, he scheduled a tag match for them tonight. Cordsar better not mess things up. Cordsar glares at his partner then says he won't.
A reminder that this is the last show before the Old School PPV. A promo for the PPV including a quick look at the matches already announced.
Artavius the Virus (1) beat Torpor (1) via count out (3 stars)
Seamus Pollack (1) beat Santon The Loner (1) via pinfall after elbow drop (2 stars)
The Mensans (none) beat K.O. Keller and Commander Sam (Sam-1) via submission when Trotarus submitted Commander Sam with Mensan Lock (3 stars)
Morpheus (none) beat Ricken Prince (1) via disqualification (2 stars)
Post show recap:
Not a good night for the men with a match at Old School.
Torpor started alright but Artavius fought back and tossed him out of the ring. Than Artavius went to the top rope and hit a senton onto Torpor down on the floor. Torpor was barely moving when the referee got to the ten in his count.
Santon The Loner also started good before finding himself on the wrong side of the match outcome. Could Santon and Torpor have been looking past their opponents tonight and to their opponents at Old School? One of the announcers got in the ring to try and talk to Santon The Loner. He started to ask about losing this match but the glare Santon shot the announcer caused him to drop that line of questioning and change to his thoughts on facing Screw at Old School. As usual Santon did not speak but he did send a message when he ran his thumb across his throat in a cutting motion.
Cordsar started against Commander Sam. He was doing good and after a minute he went to tag out. Trotarus waved him off and told him to stay on the attack. Cordsar stayed in control but did not do much. A frustrated Trotarus called Cordsar over for the tag. He then told Cordsar to stand in the corner and take notes. Trotarus took on Sam and Keller by himself. They made tags and worked him over, but he started to wear Commander Sam down and he applied his finisher to cause Sam to tap. Trotarus told Cordsar, "that's how it's done".
The main event was a return match from a couple shows ago. It was much like the first match. Morpheus was rocking Ricken Prince then Prince returned the favor. Morpheus rolled to the floor for a breather. An angry Prince went out after him. Morpheus racked Prince's eyes. That enraged Prince to the point he lifted Morpheus and slammed him thru the timekeepers table. The referee decided that was too much and called for the bell which took a bit as the timekeeper had to dig thru the broken table to find it.
When Morpheus, nursing his sore back, returned to the locker room after his match Omega is waiting for him. "I found this in my locker a bit ago". He shows Morpheus a black top hat with a red band around it. "Is that what I think it is?", asks Morpheus. Omega nods his head. Morpheus gestures for the hat and Omega gives it to him. He gets a nasty look on his face then punches his hand thru the opening and up thru the top of the hat. He then tosses it on the floor and stomps on it. Morpheus says, "I told you he would a problem and not be happy with us leaving." Omega responds with a "yes, yes you did". Both men look down at the destroyed top hat as the show ends.

Hi Cool write-up of the matches in detail there! Torpor in a good match? That's pretty rare! Morpheus had an easy match there, except for his sore back, LOL! I think I can guess who the hat belongs to, oh yeah! Todd C WTIC

Thanks for the comments. I should have the Old School PPV results up tomorrow. I must say the dice were very, very good to me. Well, for the most part. The results were good and the action good enough. You might find out if your guess is right or not after the dust from the PPV clears.
