I watched up to Fujita vs Riddle before heading to bed. Will catch up on the rest later, but I did enjoy the NJPW TV Title match. The German from the top and the bump Riddle took was savage!

I just went to Ybor City where for lunch I had a great sandwich at La Segunda Bakery and Cafe. In about an hour from now, I leave for tonight's Blue Jays vs Rays late afternoon game and afterward I meet up with on_the_edge at a local place he recommended called No Vacancy. |

I am now back from the Blue Jays/Rays game. I thought Tropicana Field was definitely better than the Oakland Colisseum but that is probably the only one of the 25 MLB stadiums I have not been to that I would rate above Tropicana Field (there is definitely a reason the Rays are looking to open a new stadium.)
However, after the game I went across the street to a sports bar called Fergs and Fergs was one of the best sports bar I have ever been to anywhere. They told me the place is 2 blocks long (it was a really big sports bar) with lots of cool features including (from what I understand) a tunnel that will take you under the street straight to Tropicana Field.

currently hanging out in downtown Tampa Bay until it is time TK go to the airport to fly back to Las Vegas (thankfully I fly back on Southwest and not United.). I am now in line for the 12:30 admission to the Florida Aquarium.

have fun with the aquarium. Safe trip home too. The Florida Aquarium was great even though it is not very big. I think some of the only aquariums I have been to that I like better would be the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay and the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans. I am at the airport now and my fight on Southwest is still listed as on time (much different than my United flights on Thursday and Friday.) I had dinner at the Rumfish Grill across from my gate and I had a grouper sandwich since it is one of Florida's iconic foods (at least according to what I saw online) and I like to try different things in terms of food and beers when I go to different places. Unfortunatley, I did not care for the grouper sandwich and I actualy ordered a second bear to wash it down better. But I did really enjoy the other sandwich I ate in Ybor City yesterday. My personal dislike for the grouper sandwich aside, I had a great time in Florida. I seriously actually almost moved to Florida back in 2015 (I even filled out the state teaching application) when the state was offering bonuses to teachers for every student of theirs who passed the AP Exam and as an AP teacher I have had pass rates that at times exceed the national and global averages even by almost 30% so that caught my attention. Altough I like Nevada better, Florida is one of my favorite states and it won't take many years for me to return. |

Grouper can be hit and miss. I forgot to ask what kind of sandwich you had yesterday. Was it a Cuban? Because that is something Florida, especially the Miami area, is really known for. Outside of Miami the best ones are supposed to be in Ybor city due to the number of Cubans who have lived there over the years because of the cigar rolling industry that made Tampa/Ybor big.

Yesterday in Ybor City I had a sandwich that was called I think a firecracker (it at least had the word fire in it) which was a hot chicken sandwich and very good. I did not have a Cuban sandwich on this trip but I agree with you that Cuban sandwiches are very good. My best friend in Las Vegas (he is working staff for many of the Collective shows this week and going with me, Tournament Master, and Sinestro24 on Saturday to NXT"s Stand and Deliver) is Cuban and his sister has made some great sandwiches in the past (I remember eating one before going to Dynamite last year during Double or Nothing weekend.) |

On a side note you made a funny typo in your post above by saying that "you had to order a second bear" instead of a second beer. I made an amusing typo myself recently when I was writing down results in my journal for my COTG Fed: I accidentally referred to Renegade & Beast-Rider as The Space Crappers instead of The Space Croppers.🤪 |
