Jim Ross and JIm Cornette welcome the fans to the show. JR hypes the main event, Harley Race vs. Adrian Adonis in a preview of next week’s tag team encounter.

Koloff bulldozes Jay and hits the Russian Hammer for the win.

JR says it’s great to see Backlund with a win after that tough loss to the Iron Sheik a couple weeks ago. Cornette introduces the next match.
3. Iron Sheik vs. Steve Williams
Doc steamrolls the Sheik at the bell and hits a press slam for a two count. The Sheik comes back and locks on the camel clutch, wearing Doc down. The Sheik nails Doc with the loaded boot and locks on the camel clutch a second time but Doc fights his way to the ropes. The Sheik hits a vertical suplex for a two count. The Sheik locks on the camel clutch a third time and Doc taps out.
Winner - Iron Sheik by submission
After the match, the Iron Sheik gets on the mic and says he will make Kurt Angle humble if Angle wrestles him again. JR introduces the main event.
4. Harley Race vs. Adrian Adonis
Race gets the upper hand at the bell and hits a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Adonis and Race battle back and forth. Race goes to the top for a diving head butt but Adonis rolls out of the way. Adonis hits a top rope knee drop for a two count. Race makes a comeback and wears Adonis down with an Indian Deathlock. Race hits a vertical suplex for a two count. Race and Adonis brawl outside the ring. Adonis smashes Race with a chair and the referee calls for the bell.

Abdullah mauls Jones and hits two Sudanese Meat Cleavers for the win.

JR says Abdullah came within an eyelash of winning the L1 Wrestling Universal Heavyweight title last time he wrestled Kurt Angle. Cornette introduces the next match.

Zbyszko throws Crazy all over the ring. Crazy rolls him up in a small package for a two count. Crazy and Zbyszko battle back and forth. Zbyszko wears Crazy down with a hammerlock. Zbyszko works the hammerlock and Crazy fights his way to the ropes. Crazy battles back and hits the triple moonsault for a two count. Crazy hits a leaping DDT for a two count. Crazy hits the triple moonsault for the win.

Malenko takes Sabu down and locks on the bridging stepover toehold. Sabu fights his way out of the hold. Joe locks on the cross armbreaker and Sabu fights his way to the ropes. Sabu makes a comeback and wears Malenko down with the camel clutch. Sabu hits the triple jump moonsault for the win.

4. Race & Hennig vs. Orton & Adonis
Race and Adonis start the match. Race and Adonios grapple back and forth. Race hits a back suplex for a two count. Race hits the piledriver but Orton makes the save. Race hits a backbreaker and tags in Hennig. Hennig body slams Adonis for a two count. Adonis makes a comeback and tags in Orton. Orton hits a delayed vertical suplex for a two count. 1. Danielson vs. Tragos
Danielson and Tragos grapple back and forth. Danielson hits a missile dropkick for a two count. Danielson locks on the LeBell lock but Tragos escapes the hold. Danielson nails Tragos with some roundhouse kicks and covers him for the three count.

JR says Danielson needs to stay focused. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. Ed Lewis vs. Mad Dog Vachon
Lewis ties Vachon in knots and wears him down with a neck yoke. Vachon and Lewis battle back and forth. Vachon hits the piledriver for a two count. Lewis battles back and hits a strangler’s headlock for a two count. Lewis hits a second strangler’s headlock for the win.

After the match, Lewis challenges the winner of tonight’s main event. JR introduces the next match.
3. Abdullah the Butcher vs. The Spoiler
Spoiler and Abdullah battle back and forth. Spoiler hits a knee lift for a two count. Spoiler hits a rope walk smash and throws Abdullah out of the ring. Abdullah strangles him with an electrical cord and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - The Spoiler by DQ
Spoiler and Abdullah brawl into the crowd after the match and security pours out of the back. Once order is restored, JR introduces the main event.
4. Kurt Angle vs. Tully Blanchard - L1 Wrestling Universal Heavyweight title match
Angle takes Tully to school in the opening minutes, out grappling him. Tully gets some momentum going but Angle shuts him down with a German Suplex. Tully turns it around but Angle is soon back in control and hits a backbreaker for a two count. Angle locks on the Ankle Lock and Tully taps out.
Winner - Kurt Angle by submission, his seventh title defense. Angle has hit the Jim Londos benchmark.

Jim Ross and JIm Cornette welcome the fans to the show. JR hypes the main event, Paul Orndorff vs. Vader in a preview of next week’s tag team encounter. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. John Pesek vs. Lord Zoltan
Pesek works over Zoltan and clamps on the double wristlock. Zoltan fights his way to the ropes. Pesek locks on the scissors and wristlock, further torturing Zoltan. Zoltan makes a comeback and drills Pesek with a foreign object. Pesek takes Zoltan to the mat and locks on Tiger Man Toehold but Zoltan fights his way to the ropes. Pesek hits a fireman’s carry slam for a two count. Zoltan makes a comeback and hits a top rope neck snap for a two count. Zoltan locks on the triangle death grip and Pesek taps out!
Winner - Lord Zoltan by submission
Cornette says that may be the biggest win of Zoltan’s career. JR introduces the next match.
2. Danielson vs. McGuinness
McGuinness gets the early advantage and whips Danielson to the ropes. Danielson rolls him up in a small package for a two count. Danielson locks on the guillotine choke and McGuinness taps out.

3. Sabu vs. Giant Bernard
Sabu starts strong but Bernard nails him with a bicycle kick for a two count. Sabu makes a comeback and hits an Arabian Facebuster. Sabu locks on the camel clutch, wearing Bernard down. Sabu hits another Arabian Facebuster and the referee calls for the bell.

Cornette says that’s the risk Sabu runs when he brings chairs into the match. JR introduces the main event.

Orndorff and Vader come out throwing bombs. Vader crushes Orndorff with a body avalanche for a two count. Vader hits a released power bomb for a two count. Orndorff makes a comeback but Vader shuts him down with a power body slam for a two count. Vader hits a Vader Bomb for a two count. Vader hits a power bomb for the win.
