Jim Ross and JIm Cornette welcome the fans to the show. JR hypes the main event, Paul Orndorff & Tommy Gilbert vs. Wilbur Snyder & Pepper Gomez in a second round L1 Tag Team Tournament match. Jim Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Bryan Danielson vs. Kenny Jay
Danielson flattens Jay with a German Suplex and locks on the LeBell Lock for the win.
Winner - Danielson by submission
JR says Danielson is climbing the ladder. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. Joe Malenko vs. George Tragos
Malenko and Tragos grapple back and forth. Tragos locks on the armlock and scissors but Malenko escapes the hold. Tragos locks on the hold a second time and Malenko taps out.
Winner - George Tragos by submission
Cornette says Tragos is a dangerous man. JR introduces the next match.
3. Mad Dog Vachon vs. The Iron Sheik
The Iron Sheik and Mad Dog battle back and forth. Sheik wears Mad Dog down with the Camel Rider and nails him with the loaded boot. Sheik hits Mad Dog with the loaded boot a second time and covers him for a two count. The Sheik nails Mad Dog with the loaded boot a third time and hits a sidewinder suplex for the win.
Winner - Iron Sheik by pinfall
JR and Cornette introduce the main event.
4. Orndorff & Gilbert vs. Snyder & Gomez
Gilbert and Gomez start the match. Gilbert and Gomez battle back and forth. GIlbert hits the running knee lift for a two count and tags in Orndorff. Orndorff hits an atomic drop for a two count. Orndorff body slams Gomez on the concrete and Gomez is nearly counted out. Orndorff hits the piledriver, bringing in Snyder and Gilbert. The four men brawl and Gomez and Snyder clean house. Gomez tags in Snyder. Snyder goes to work on Orndorff but Orndorff is soon back in control. Orndorff hits a short arm clothesline for a two count and tags in Gilbert. Gilbert hits the running knee lift but Snyder kicks out. Gilbert tags Orndorff back in. Orndorff hits the jumping piledriver for the three count.

Jim Ross and JIm Cornette welcome the fans to the show. JR hypes the main event, Kurt Angle vs. Abdullah the Butcher for the L1 Wrestling Universal Heavyweight title. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. John Pesek vs. Scott Casey
Pesek and Casey grapple back and forth. Pesek wears Casey down with the lateral press keylock. Pesek locks on the scissors and wristlock and Casey fights his way to the ropes. Pesek hits a waistlock slam and covers Casey for a two count. Pesek locks on the double wristlock and Casey fights his way to the ropes. Pesek locks on the TIger Man Toehold and Casey taps out.
Winner - John Pesek by submission
JR says Pesek likes to hurt people. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. The Spoiler vs. Disco Inferno
Disco gets in some offense early on. The Spoiler pounds him down and hits the rope walk smash. Disco makes a comeback but The Spoiler shuts him down and locks on the Bionice Claw but Disco is able to reach the ropes. The Spoiler locks on the Bionic Claw a second tiem and Disco taps out.
Winner - The Spoiler by submission
After the match, the Spoiler gets on the mic and challenges the winner of tonight’s main event.
3. Tully Blanchard vs. Sabu
Sabu and Tully brawl all over the ring area. Tully hits a piledriver for a two count. Tully hits a backward elbow smash and covers Sabu for a near fall. Tully hits the slingshot suplex but Sabu kicks out. Tully hits a top rope sledge but still can’t put Sabu away! Tully mauls Sabu outside the ring and nails him with a foreign object for a two count. Sabu tries making a comeback but misses a turnbuckle charge. Tully rolls him up with a handful of tights for the three count.
Winner - Tully Blanchard by pinfall
JR says Tully Blanchard is climbing the ranks. Cornette introduces the main event.
4. Kurt Angle vs. Abdullah the Butcher - L1 Wrestling Universal Heavyweight title match
Angle tries grappling with Abdullah but Abdullah gnaws on his forehead, reopening Angle’s wound. Abdullah hits a karate thrust to the throat and covers Angle for a two count. Abdullah nails Angle with a foreign object and covers him for a two count. Abdullah jabs Angle with the foreign object two more times and Angle is a bloody mess, leaving puddles in the ring. Abdullah hits a karate thrust to the throat and throws Angle to the outside. Angle makes a comeback and hits a moonsault for a two count. Angle hits another moonsault for a two count. Angle pulls down the straps and clamps on the Ankle Lock but Abdullah fights him off. Angle locks on the Ankle Lock a second time but Abdullah fights his way to the ropes. Angle hits an overhead belly to belly for a two count. Angle hits the Olympic Slam for the win.
Winner - Kurt Angle by pinfall, his fifth title defense
JR and Corny sign off, telling fans to tune in next week when Roddy Piper takes on Vader in the main event.

I think missing on a 1 or 2 would be much better. It cost him a match against Virgil for me back in the day.

L1 Wrestling 1.35
Jim Ross and JIm Cornette welcome the fans to the show. JR hypes the main event, Roddy Piper vs. Vader in a preview of next week’s tag team encounter. Cornette announces that Kurt Angle has signed to defend the L1 Wrestling Universal Heavyweight title against the Spoiler in three weeks with Tully Blanchard also in line for a title shot. JR introduces the first match.
1. Stanislaus Zbyszko vs. Disco Inferno
Zbyszko plants Disco with a flying mare at the bell. Zbyszko hits a half nelson and slam for a two count. Zbyszko clamps on the hammerlock and Disco fights his way to the ropes. Zbsyzko works the hammerlock again and hits another half nelson and slam for a two count. Zbyszko goes to the hammerlock a third time and Disco taps out.
Winner - Stanislaus Zbyszko by submission
Cornette says Zbyszko has dollar signs all over him. JR introduces the next match.
2. Joe Malenko vs. Danny Hodge
Malenko goes for a full nelson and Hodge escapes the hold and wears Joe down with an airplane spin. Hodge hits the Oklahoma Side Roll for the win.

Cornette says Hodge is showing some signs of life. JR introduces the next match.
3. Steve Williams vs. Giant Bernard
Williams and Bernard go head to head at the bell. Williams overpowers Bernard and hits a lariat for a two count. Bernard makes a comeback but Williams is soon back in control and hits the Backdrop Driver for a two count. Doc hits a superplex for a two count. Doc hits a press slam and covers Bernard for a near fall. Doc scoops up Bernard and hits the Oklahoma Stampede for the win.

JR puts over Doctor Death’s strength. Cornette introduces the main event.
4. Roddy Piper vs. Vader
Vader overpowers Piper at the bell and batters him in the corner. Vader whips Piper to the ropes and Piper rolls him up with a small package for a two count. Vader battles back and hits a front slam for a two count. Vader hits the Vader Bomb for the win.

Jim Ross and JIm Cornette welcome the fans to the show. JR hypes the main event, Roddy Piper & Don Muraco vs. Vader & 2 Cold Scorpio in a second round L1 Tag Team Tournament match. Jim Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Iron Sheik vs. Kenny Jay
Iron Sheik works over Kenny Jay. Jay dodges a turnbuckle attack and Sheik goes tumbling out fo the ring. Jay rolls Sheik back into the ring and hits the Sodbuster Spike. The Iron Sheik shakes it off and nails Jay with the loaded boot. The Sheik locks on the Camel Clutch and Jay taps out.
Winner - Iron Sheik by submission
Cornette says the Iron Sheik is about due for another title shot. JR introduces the next match.
2. Sabu vs. Bryan Danielson
Sabu and Danielson battle back and forth. Sabu plants Danielson and misses the triple jump moonsault. Danielson hits a back suplex for a two count. Danielson locks on the LeBell lock but Sabu escapes the hold. Danielson wears Sabu down with the Guillotine Choke. Danielson locks on the LeBell Lock a second time for the win.
Winner - Danielson by submission
JR says Danielson is gunning for the gold. Cornette introduces the next match.
3. Mad Dog Vachon vs. Nikita Koloff
Koloff and Vachon battle back and forth. Vachon hits a gutbuster for the win.

4. Piper & Muraco vs. Vader & Scorpio
Muraco and Scorpio start the match. Muraco gets the early advantage but Scorpio rolls him up with a small package for a two count. Scorpio hits the 450 splash for a two count and tags in Vader. Vader beats up Muraco. Muraco makes a comeback and tags in Piper, who is reluctant to enter the ring. Vader and Piper battle back and forth. Piper gnaws on Vader’s forehead but Vader crushes him with a body avalanche for a two count. Vader crushes Piper with a Vader Bomb for a two count. Vader and Piper brawl outside the ring. Vader comes out on top and hits a released power bomb. Muraco breaks the pin and hits a neckbreaker to shift the momentum. Piper wears Vader down with the sleeper and tags in Muraco. Vader and Muraco brawl outside the ring. Vader comes out on top and hits the Vader Bomb for the win.

Bernard bulldozes Tragos and hits the Bernard Driver for a two count. Tragos tries to make a comeback but Bernard hits the short arm lariat for a two count. Tragos makes a comeback and hits a crotch lift and slam for a two count. Tragos wears Bernard down with the double wristlock. Tragos locks on the armlock and scissors but Bernard fights him off. Tragos goes after the wrist with a double wristlock a second time. Tragos changes gears and locks on the Grecian Sleeper Grip. Bernard taps out.

2. Ed Lewis vs. Bryan Danielson
Lewis and Danielson grapple back and forth. Lewis hits the strangler’s headlock for a two count. Danielson and Lewis trade the advantage several times. Lewis hits another strangler’s headlock for a two count. Danielson makes a comeback and hits a back superplex for a two count. Danielson locks on the guillotine choke but Lewis fights his way out of the hold. Lewis turns it around and hits the strangler’s headlock for the win.
