Did anyone read TMNT: The Last Ronin? Not YET. It's definitely on my " to read" list. I've heard a lot of good things about that one.

Oh yeah, speaking of TMNT. I have both trades of the Gary Carlson & Frank Fosco TMNT Urban Legends series from Image/IDW, I'm loving it...

I read most things in trades so I'm usually six months behind. Recent runs I've liked have been Chip Zdarsky's Daredevil and Al Ewing's Immortal Hulk. I was digging Nightwing but haven't kept up with it.

AH... The call back to my boy John Proudstar THUNDERBIRD, and people say no one stays dead in comics. As far as I know anyway, as I did stop collecting in the mid 90s. They did bring him back without truly bringing him back, by introducing his younger brother James Proudstar WARPATH.

I currently have close to 3,000 comics. I mostly read them back in the late '80s-'90s. Batman always appealed to me but otherwise I've mostly been a Marvel fan. X-Men was a big one for me, Cap, Daredevil, Hulk, Spidey, Punisher. I can't get into modern comics too much. I'll occasionally pick up a trade or a limited run or check out something online. Some are good, some are not. It's just so much easier to read a full arch at once, rather than bouncing between titles. I've liked Alias (Jessica Jones), some of Valiant's relaunch from a few years ago, The Walking Dead, Invincible, Harrow County. I read a little of Black Science and that was good so far. I do still feel like I enjoy comics but often don't get the enjoyment out of them that I feel I should. Kinda similar to modern wrestling.

I'm sure most in this thread know, and some were there at the beginning. The TMNT were not kid friendly when they first came out in their B&W book. They were blood soaked, violent FOOT murdering machines! Somewhere along the way someone said, hey if we tone these guys down, we can market them to kids and make movies and toys. The rest is, a money-making machine, history. Sadly, I didn't foresee the coming kid boom and sold the few original B&W copies that I owned. I also remember picking up a copy of WALKING DEAD #1 in the winter of 2003 at COMIC TOWN and quickly putting it back down, thinking how dumb it was to make a B&W book - it's almost 2004 for Christ's sake! I'm an idiot, I knew NOTHING about comics - when I thought I knew everything.
