Here's my two cents on the exclusive con cards: Unlike most people, I don't have online access at my fingertips 24/7. I go to the library to use a computer so it's impossible to attend a virtual con. It also doesn't make financial sense for me to buy a ticket for a con I can't attend just to get one or two cards when I don't even know who they'll be. Would it be nice to own a complete set of cards? Sure it would. But I won't lose any sleep over not having more jobbers, alternate versions, or indie stars now on TV. I have plenty of cards to occupy my time, but if the exclusives were sold individually or as a set, I'd probably buy them. Now if they ever have con exclusive cards for big names like Flair, Hogan, Bruno, Austin, etc., then I'd really be mad! Until then, I just have to hope that the old black & white PDF cards that I don't have like Johnnie Stewart, Dark Patriot, Abe Lincoln, Wrestling Bear, etc. will be sold--not exclusives. Sorry if this sounds like a rant. That wasn't my intention. Just explaining my situation. I'm a long-time fan who still enjoys the game after all these years, and I'll continue buying new sets until the day I die, but then I hope I can become a zombie so I can still play! LOL My desktop passed away peacefully two years ago and I never replaced it with another computer. I use my smartphone for Internet and to attend the cons virtually.

Mark Ashby wrote this in the Preface to GWF Files Second Edition on page 5, paragraph 4. I thought it might be appropriate for this thread:
For years, I'd been perceived by some as "the fan who crossed over" and became a member of the inner circle. That perception is probably true, but I'm not the only one to ever have done so. Anyone who attends enough Galacticons in the summer has also achieved a special position in this community of fans and friends. Anyone who consistently supports the product even with a little constructive criticism here and there has gotten there, too. In other words, there really isn't an inner circle. We're all part of it to some extent. Filsinger Games ain't Milton Bradley. You're not an anonymous name in a database here. You matter.--June 19, 2022
Just thought everyone might like to read that: We're all a part of the inner circle, and we matter. As the late, great Stan Lee would say: Nuff Said!

I like the idea of con exclusive cards. But it does suck to miss out on something. Like the time Piper's Pit card came out, but that was my bad for forgetting to buy a ticket. I do like the idea of con exclusive cards being available later though.

I like the idea of con exclusive cards. But it does suck to miss out on something. Like the time Piper's Pit card came out, but that was my bad for forgetting to buy a ticket. I do like the idea of con exclusive cards being available later though. Convention-exclusive cards are available later, through auctions or another secondary market. Just like Kickstarter-exclusive items or Gen-Con/Origins/Anyothercon-exclusive items. The disconnect, in my opinion, is that this is such a small, niche, and relatively stagnant market that people forget (a) Filsinger Games is a business and (b) they have a business model to follow. That model includes driving people to conventions via con-exclusive giveaways. And why wouldn’t they do that? It’s free money—if they get a hundred people to sign up (not saying they do, that’s just a number I threw out there) that’s $1,500 in their business account that they can use for art, marketing, etc. And $1,500 isn’t much money to Hasbro or Upper Deck, but to a micro business like Filsinger Games, it’s huge. I get it, though. When I was seven, I thought it was unfair that Boba Fett was a mail-order exclusive action figure you could only get it you bought a certain other number of Star Wars action figures. But them’s the breaks. I should have asked for the other action figures before the deal expired. In conclusion, ladies and jellyspoons, Filsinger Games is doing the exact same thing every other game company does. And I don’t think they can be faulted for trying to do business in a way that sustains their business model.

Soapbox - I personally have not got any problems with the game. Legends & Indies signed wrestlers I never thought in my life time, they would sign. Just curious why they never signed some UK wrestlers, that I rate. Over 30 years rolling the dice, my mum would say 30 years it must be good for me to play that long. Normally 6 months I have lost interest in things.
Sneezy says Con Cards are available later. As far as I know I have not got Nacho Barrera or/and Frogman LeBlanc and never seen them for sale on official website. Not too bothered though about not having their cards.

They obviously don't get to see British workers in person a lot and so would rely on contact through social media and email to make contact. Particularly for indies, the competition for a spot is really high, so only the top indie names will generally make it to sets. There are Brits that fall into this category, unquestionably, and I have been chatting to some of these at shows in the UK to try and get contact details which I can pass on to Vegas and Tournament Master so they can send them the release forms to try and get them signed. With Progress being at Mania this year, there are some like Session Moth Martina, Spike Trivet, Lana Austin and Ricky Knight Jr that they may get to speak to and try to sign there to help continue growing the Brits signed up on that front.

Any of those 4 names would be fantastic, tho I wouldn't call Martina a Brit wrestler to her face lol

Martina is one I'd definitely enjoy getting into the game.

Didn't Vegas sign her already? I remember asking what a Session Moth was.
