My issue has always been the people who brag about having inside information. Like "I know who the next release is and you will be excited" and garbage like that. You're just humble bragging and it's annoying. It actually turned me off to the community all together. I concur with On_The_Edge: Zeke is about the only person I know that "brags" about the names in the set. I write bios for the Indies line, and I will express who my favorite is in the set, and if they haven't come, because I have to watch a ton of matches to get a feel for who the wrestlers are. If that's "humble bragging" then so be it. I happily shouted from the rooftops how stellar top to bottom this Best of The Indies tag team set was, specifically in the fact that it is the strongest such set out of the three top to bottom of them. I'm absolutely going to say that, because it, I hope, drives people to buy. I can say that Legends that I have signed and knowing people who have signed legends, multiple, they have no idea where their signings are appearing. Again, if that turned you off to the community, I am sorry that you feel that way, and hope that you can overlook it, and still enjoy your time here and focus on the positives. If not, then you have to make the decision that is best for you.

This isn't really meant to be that critical, I understand FG is a small company but it is 'frustrating' for a newer player like me that might want to get certain sets or cards only to find out they are out of stock. I imagine doing a print on demand program is likely more expensive, so again, I understand.. just, if I want to get all of COTG in physical form, I can't do it through the main site (I'm into Legends right now but just saw that the color update for 2087 is out of print), I can't do all of Legends either. I don't have a solution to that.

It's been out of stock for an eternity and I doubt it's ever coming back; My guess would be the licensing agreement with ROH has ended. I would also love it if the company could find a way to make the colorized online versions of the out of stock black & white sets available as a printable PDF. It's probably a pretty complicated process though. As for the 2087 set FG does do periodic reprints of out of stock cards so keep an eye out for that. The 2087 set is a pretty core and important item so I imagine at some point it will get reprinted.

Yeah, I imagine they ran out of stock and its not worth reprinting ROH to them with a license agreement change. While I love to get full sets, things like those ROH sets, or other indies/ Legends I might only want a few cards from and yet, because of this niche, there's not going to be a ton of cards out there to be sold. Oh well.. there's still plenty to choose from.. I was mostly just pondering if there is something that could be done but probably cost prohibitive.

For the ROH sets that are out of print (and future sets that are no longer available) is it because of licensing agreements? I wonder if there was a way to get the wrestlers to re-sign individually so atleast some of the wrestlers could be introduced in the Legends, Indies or Promoter Prime lines with different backgrounds or even different art?

These would have been some nice questions for the Indy panel and since we won't have any for a while, hopefully Todd and Mike can give us some info.

I am wondering too if it is a question of demand. They have reprinted several ROH sets that were out of stock, but the question comes to whether or not Final Battle would have the need to warrant a full run or even a 1/2 run of production. Producing it for the handful of folks that want it - when most Indies players already have it, might not be a smart business decision. Not saying that it is fair, but there are absolutely copies available out on the second-hand market. Also, paul, I might have a guy you could reach out to about buying Final Battle if you want it, do you want me to reach out?

Considering I'm using all the other sets at once my roster is already pretty packed. Thanks anyways though.🙂

I totally get the reasoning, its more just wishing we didn't have to go through the secondary market but hopefully I can find everything I want in the future when the time comes (I haven't bought anything FG in awhile since my first stint but focused on getting my Legends fed started) I will say, I'm hopeful that down the road FG can sign some of these people from ROH for a legend release or whatever. There's alot of cool guys that are only in the game because of that agreement but they weren't at their peak.. which is why some sets don't have my interest as much.
