we are in essence a small community (compared with say, Magic: The Gathering) For example, Filsinger Games needs to invest more time, energy (and money) into advertising. Let's face it---we have created and marketed wrestling's greatest games for a long time and we need to get our games in front of wrestling fans more often. Firm believer that the only difference between Magic and FG is marketing. I feel confident FG would look great in stores, on shelves and in check outs in foil packs with Magic and all the rest of the card games I see out there.

But wouldm't it require some kind of man-power, delivery and whatnot??

I mean i know people, I am good friends with the owner of Millenium Games which is the biggest gaming store in North America.
He just created a war gaming version of D&D for wizards of the coast.

"Thank goodness, I think three is even too many for all the quality that's been released of late."
That's a good point and we want to keep quality high and cutting back on our release schedule will help to ensure that.

"If you're looking to do more advertising/game demos Survivor Series is going to be up here in Vancouver on Saturday November 30th."
Thanks for the kind thought. I won't be traveling so far at that time of year but this is the kind of "ground game" that we need to work on more aggressively. Star Warrior's Sales Force in updated form might need to make a return.

"Would this also be the case of Promoter Prime being cut back as well or is that model something that would be done away with since less sets means more cards which would just be intergrated into the set releases?"
I don't know yet, I haven't worked on an exact model and release schedule for 2025 yet. These questions will be answered in the time ahead.

If the cards come three times per year with four cards each - the same number of cards would be included. Regarding advertising, TOM , podcasts would be a great jumping off point.

"Firm believer that the only difference between Magic and FG is marketing."
That's possible but they are two different kinds of games. Our product is not a collectible game where buyers purchase packs and have a lot of doubles of cards and there are rare cards that are hard to get. Our games are more like a science fiction novel with game cards that go along with it. Our games also require a high level of knowledge and appreciation of professional wrestling tropes and narratives, and there's only a small percentage of game fans in that category. Also, collectible card games come in packets without a handbook, but handbooks are a big part of our main games, particularly COTG.
I looked at marketing in stores as an option many years ago and it required a change in the philosophy of how the game is packaged, advertised, and marketed. We created a larger style box set (the one with Wolf and Star Warrior on the cover) many years ago, but it was sold in a limited number of stores.
With more time, however, I can look into possible marketing approaches that would allow for the investment in the kind of packaging that would be required, again with the caveat that the way the game is played, which is unique, would need to be part of the overall model.

Yes it would, which is another factor. Things like distributors, etc. Very easy for Magic which is owned by Wizards of the Coast and has significant resources at their disposal.

Thank you. I love the energy around this!
I will be working on a model and priorities for 2025 the rest of this year.
