Ah yes, Star Warrior's Sales Force! I thought of that too when I was mentioning ways to get promoters involved.
I will put these ideas on our agenda for 2024 and hopefully we will cook something up.
On another note, a couple fun asides:
Monday's teaser for GWF SECRET HISTORY will announce a full roster of the 9 cards. For those of you looking forward to this set you will find the roster interesting!
As for the next summer expansion for COTG (exclusive early release at GalactiCon) I want loyal promoters to know that even though nothing has been officially teased there has already been one hint in plain sight.
I won't speak any more about it but just saying...

A system for players to use to demo the game is a good idea. That way, for the most part, we are on the same page and getting a message out that the company wants. Along with Gaming Stores a good place to demo would be indie shows. I know ALW has boots set up at their shows. Granted you have to buy the space but if it is not too much it would be a nice investment as fans of the game to help to see it continue to grow. Plus at indie shows you know you are hitting our target market. Wrestling fans.

It's a good idea. I wouldn't have as much opportunity as I would have years ago, but I'd still give it a shot.

I posted my entry before Tom's announced that he would list all of the Secret History cards in the teaser today. Also, he only said in his first post that the First Cycle sets would start mailing the week of March 25th. That means they could mail out anytime that week, up to and including Saturday, March 30.
The question now is whether Tom is just going to give us the names of all of the Women Warriors, or pictures of the fronts of the cards?

Very good points here. Coming up with a good win-win set of guidelines and resources for all of us is a priority in 2024, probably after GCon since the June releases and that AMAZING CON (return to the homeland) is our focus for now. Can't wait to see everyone in Jamestown and those attending virtually. We will be posting info about GCON next week so everyone knows what is going on and can plan ahead!

I might be the only one here and these are just a portion of my thoughts. I love redoing Early Classics but I'm burnt out on nostalgia and alternate universes and what ifs.
I want to explore more brand new characters, concepts, and groups. I want exploration of new planets. More long term character development. I feel most top stars are designated like that right away or you know they are legit because of their team affiliation. Why not take a journeyman who's paid their dues, like Kenji (just an example) and elevate him to a top level main eventer now and then?
I know their importance in the game, but up to a point the same teams and dichotomies get a bit rote and I just want more new characters, more new ideas, and thoughtful and surprising character development and placement. Also more guys like Anarchy, more pure wrestlers, a big guy in the vein of Cycle Hog. Maybe even time for official, sticker sized GWF belts. Also bring Hector back and somehow a descendant of Iron Mane to lead the new AniMen 🙂
And I'm looking forward to the rerelease of the dark menace book. And I'm very invested in CWF as well. Also hoping for Crinmestoppers someday 👍
