This might be the first GWF set ever I don’t immediately jump into. Ive technically only played one card of 2139 and haven’t decided if I’ll rush to catch up in time for GCON. At the very least I’ll play an Impossible Tournament, but I may still be behind come June.

What are the rules for an Impossible Tournament?

What are the rules for an Impossible Tournament? Think WCW Future Shock amped up to 11. Four, four-man round robin tournaments (four brackets of four wrestlers in each). The four winners of each bracket advance to a finals of a fifth round robin tournament to declare the winner. Titan Death Rules. Tie-breakers are determined by H2H results. Occasionally you’ll get a three-way tie with three guys at 2-1 with victories over each other resulting in an additional overtime bracket being needed which is always extra fun. You can check out my fed and the feds of many other promoters by searching “Impossible Tournament” for many examples.

I've been searching but wasn't coming up with anything that completely explained the rule of Tournament.

I'm excited for the summer release! I know we aren't getting much in the way of art teasers, if any, but when can we expect the first trickle of hints/teasers?

I would guess Mayish especially as Tom is looking to avoid card spoilers this time.

"but when can we expect the first trickle of hints/teasers?"
That's a great question. I need to take some time to reflect on what those teasers could be. I would like to start in May since there is still a lot of time until GCon. There are 4 weeks in May and nearly 4 in June leading to GCon. That would be at least 6-8 teasers.
I will ponder this issue and decide. I am very thankful for the patience of loyal promoters not receiving card art teasers in advance. This is such a fun adventure (the new theme) that it will be a lot for promoters to take in when that big weekend arrives! Speaking as a creator, I am enjoying this set as much as any other or even more and that's true for the next several.

Definitely excited for 2140 as I closed out my 2139 fed a couple of months ago so it is still very fresh in my mind.
I'm very curious where the whole Gladiator story line is going as well as what is in store for Grand Master as he had a pretty rough year not seeing eye to eye w/ Exo-King as they were my most dominate team in 2138, but they really fell down the rankings in 2139.
