Something I would love to see is a heavy hitter (like a young guy with obvious main event talent) come in to the GWF under the guidance of Murtak. Murtak has this guy completely fooled into thinking Murtak is this top guy in the GWF, and this guy thinks he’s joining forces with a real tough guy, only to quickly find out Murtak is full of hot air. Could make for some great writing.

I understand the no art teasers but what if they were true teasers? Not showing the whole art of the card but a small, tiny piece. Like showing a piece of a jigsaw puzzle without showing the whole thing. It could be fun but then again it might just anger some players so maybe it is not a good idea.

Could make for some great writing. I like the idea, but you lost me at Murtak not being a top guy and full of hot air. Perhaps you are thinking of someone else. I mean Murtak is THE man of men. Top dog. Top cheese. He is the pinnacle of the GWF. |

"but when can we expect the first trickle of hints/teasers?" That's a great question. I need to take some time to reflect on what those teasers could be. I would like to start in May since there is still a lot of time until GCon. There are 4 weeks in May and nearly 4 in June leading to GCon. That would be at least 6-8 teasers. Teasers are just as fun as getting the set itself. The whole experience is a ride we’re conditioned to expect after growing up with those flyers you used to send out. One of the best parts of each new set is seeing the teases, trying to figure them all out then being extra surprised when none of our guesses turn out to be correct. Maybe an online flyer or PDF with ALL TEASERS in one place at the same time would be best for a unique set like this. I’d love to see a flyer again, even if it wasn’t a traditional mailer. |

The thing is I love teasers. Building up anticipation and suspense is part of the art of this process.
The problem is when a new set has a central theme that captures the whole set (a teaser right there!). Talking about any one part gives away the new BIG thing.
I will think about how to work around that with teasers for the June release.
For long-time (decades long and lifetime) fans, isn't it pretty awesome that we are still having fun! I count my blessings every day and look forward to doing this a long time.

I don't play the current stuff or Legends but I still enjoy the teasers. Gotta get a hit of the FG drug once in awhile, LOL.

Seriously though, someone is getting captured in 2140. Maybe a big set of Gladiators who capture Apex for ultimate treason. Maybe they capture Deva too. Some bad luck is definitely coming someone’s way in this set. |

I do think Deva's run might be over. I'm also hoping we're going to take a long break from power hungry commishes. They've been done to death both currently and in the GWF.
