*Note: The Moondog's missed their flight to Green Bay. There were no flights out of parts unknown today. The Vachon's who were in Green Bay to scout other tag teams will be filling in for them. (The truth is I grabbed the Vachon's by mistake and didn't catch it until well into the match. So thought I would make a story of it.)

1) Bill Mulkey* & Randy Mulkey vs. Mad Dog Vachon & Butcher Vachon 1/20
*The match ends in a no contest at 2:21
-Tugboat Taylor walks to the ring during the match and challenges Mad Dog Vachon to a fight. Mad Dog runs at him and a wild brawl starts. The referee calls for the bell as AWA staff, Butcher Vachon, and the Milkey's struggle to pull the two men apart. (See show 7 and 9)

2) Yukon Eric & Jerry Blackwell vs. Mister X & Kenny Jay 1/20
*Yukon Eric & Jerry Blackwell win by pin at 0:33
-The match ends after Yukon Eric does kodiak krunch to Mister X
-Jerry Blackwell gets on the microphone and says that Eric and I will fight the Moondog's at card 11 if they can find a flight out of parts unknown.
-Yukon Eric and Jerry Blackwell make jokes about parts unknown for serval minutes to entertain the fans.

3) Red Bastien* & Billy Red Lyons vs. John Tolos** & Chris Tolos 1/30
*Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons win by tap out at 5:53
-John Tolos taps out to Billy Red Lyons figure four leglock

4) Larry Zbyszko* vs. Steve Regal 1/30
*Steve Regal wins by pin at 5:44
-Steve Regal pins Larry Zbyszko after a suplex. During the pin Regal puts his feet on the ropes.
-Steve Regal leaves the ring quickly after the win and laughts at Larry.
-Larry takes a microphone and tell Steve that he would have had to cheat to beat me too. He tells Steve they'll meet again soon.

5) Bob Backlund**** & Jim Brunzell* vs. Baron Von Raschke* & Ox Baker 1/30
*Baron Von Raschke & Ox Baker win by tap out at 10:27
-The match ends after Bob Backlund taps out to Baron Von Raschke's brain claw.

-The match ends after Dick The Bruiser hits Ray Stevens with a chair outside the ring.

-Note: Ken Patera will compete in upcoming tournament at card 13 to crown an AWA International Champion. His first-round match will be against Ronnie Garvin.

*The 2nd match was signed to be Chaz Taylor and Tugboat Taylor vs. Stan Lane and Steve Keirn. But Chaz Taylor is not cleared to wrestle tonight due to stitches to close a cut on his forehead. The injury happened at card 9 when Mad Dog Vachon slammed his head into a post. Bill and Randy Mulkey were called in to sub in.

2) Stan Lane & Steve Keirn vs. Bill Mulkey* & Randy Mulkey 1/20
*Stan Lane & Steve Keirn win by pin at 2:39
-The match ends after Stan Lane does a shoulder ram to Bill Mulkey and gets the pinfall.
-Teddy Long, Dick The Bruiser, and The Crusher make their way to the ring after the match.
-Teddy Long informs the crowd and the four men that due to their double DQ finish at "Tag Wars" (card 7) in the semi-finals these two teams will meet at card 13 to decide the number challenges for the AWA World Tag Team Titles.
-The two teams face off for photos. After the photos the teams trash talk each other before leaving the ring.

*Ken Patera comes out of the locker room to sit ring side for the next match.

3) Ronnie Garvin vs. Alexis Smirnoff with Nikita Breznikov 1/30
*Ronnie Garvin wins by DQ at 1:37
-The match ends after Nikita Breznikov ,looking to get back at Garvin for knocking him out at card 9, hits Garvin from behind with a chair while Garvin is pounding on Smirnoff outside the ring.
-Both Alexis Smirnoff and Nikita Breznikov double team Garvin after the match.
-Garvin begins to get the upper hand on the two until Ken Patera runs up behind Garvin and puts him in a full nelson. Garvin is unable to break the hold and passes out.
-Curt Hennig runs out to make the save but is two late as Patera throws Garvin's body to the ground and quickly leaves.

***Intermission***

*This next match is due to a challenge given by Jerry Blackwell and Yukon Eric to the Moondog's at card 10

4) Yukon Eric**** & Jerry Blackwell vs. Moondog Spot**** & Moondog Rex 1/30
*Moondog Spot & Moondog Rex win by pin at 15:51
-The Moondog's hit a double team Moondog drop on Yukon Eric to get the pinfall.
-After the match while Jerry Blackwell checks on Yukon Eric the Moondog's threaten to go after Blackwell with their bones. But after Blackwell sees them, they slowly leave the ring and walk back to the locker room.

*Tugbout Taylor walks out and sits at the timekeeper's table.

5) Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons* vs. Mad Dog Vachon & Butcher Vachon 1/30
*Mad Dog Vachon & Butcher Vachon wins by pin at 4:13
-Butcher Vachon lands a big splash on Billy Red Lyons for the pin.
-After the match Mad Dog Vachon opens the ropes and invites Tugbout Taylor into the ring to fight him.
-Tugboat Taylor moves to get into the ring but Red Bastien cuts him off and talks him down.
-A match is signed later by Teddy Long for Tugboat Taylor to face Mad Dog Vachon at card 14 from Fargo, N.D.

6) Curt Hennig* with Larry Hennig (wear a boot on his foot card 2) vs. Boris Zhukov with Nikita Breznikov 1/60
*Curt Hennig wins by pin at 2:08
-Curt wins with a counter to a cross-body block for a surprise pinfall.
-These two men will face each other again at card 13 in the first round of the International Title tournament. The two men were unaware of this before the match. The were informed by Teddy Long that their names had been drawn to face each other after the match.

*The opens with Teddy Long standing in the ring with Fritz Von Erich. Teddy tells the fans that Fritz Von Erich has been named the head AWA promoter from all Texas cards.
-Fritz thanks Teddy Long and the AWA for naming him the head promoter in Texas. He says that his desire is to bring the best the AWA has to offer to Texas. Fritz tells the fans that tonight the AWA will crown its first AWA Texas Tag Team Champions.

1) Semi-Final: David Von Erich & Kevin Von Erich* vs. Scott Irwin & Bill Irwin 1/NL
*David Von Erich & Kevin Von Erich win by tap out at 4:55
-David Von Erich tap outs Scott Irwin with a scorpion death lock

2) Semi-Final: Sam Houston & Scott Casey* vs. Ron Bass* & Black Bart 1/NL
*Sam Houston & Scott Casey win by DQ at 3:19
-The match ends after Ron Bass throws Sam Houston out of the ring and hits Houston with a wooden chair that broke over Houston's head.
-The wooden chair shot cut Sam Houston open.

3) Gene Ligon* vs. Adrian Adonis with Sherri Martel 1/20
*Adrian Adonis wins by tap out at 5:54
-Gene Ligon taps out to goodnite Irene
-Sherri Martel and Adrian Adonis join Fritz Von Erich and Teddy Long on the AWA press booth.
-Sherri cut a promo on Adonis and how great he is saying he went 2-0 in Texas.
-Adrian Adonis says that he is headed back up north to contend for major AWA titles.
-Sherri has one more thing to say. She asks Teddy Long when will there be a women's division in the AWA. Teddy said had no answer for her.

4) Art Thomas vs. Adnan Al Kaissie**** with Skandor Akbar 1/30
*Art Thomas wins by tap out at 4:22
-Adnan Al Kaissie taps out to Art Thomas's bear hug.
-Skandor Akbar attacks Art Thomas after the match. But Art easily fights of the attack.
-Akbar and Kaissie flee the ring. Akbar yells at Art that "No puts their hands on me" and he vows to get Art.
-Later in the night Fritz Von Erich books a 2 on 1 match Art Thomas vs. Adnan Al Kaissie & Skandor Akbar at show 15 from Houston.

***Intermission***

5) Joel Deaton vs. Joe LeDuc* 1/20
*Joe LeDuc wins by DQ at 6:37
-Joel Deaton got DQ'ed after hitting LeDuc with the ring bell outside the ring.
-This match was surprisal one side in favor of Joel Deaton.
-Fritz Von Erich books a no DQ match between the two men at card 15.

6. AWA Texas Tag Team Championship: Kevin Von Erich & David Von Erich vs. Scott Casey & Sam Houston***** 1/NL
*Kevin Von Erich & David Von Erich wins by tap out at 12:10
-Kevin Von Erich puts Sam Houston into a tight body scissor that led to Houston taping out.
-Both teams shake hands after the match.
-Fritz Von Erich comes to the ring with the AWA Texas Tag Team Championships. He proudly puts the belts on his son to the delight of the Dallas crowd.

7. Non-title match: (AWA Texas) Kerry Von Erich*** vs. Terry Funk****** with Gary Hart 1/60
*Kerry Von Erich wins by DQ at 26:45
-During the match Bobby Duncam interfered twice with a DQ win being awarded to Kerry after the second interference.
-After the match a very bloody Terry Funk and Bobby Duncam double team Kerry.
-David, Kevin, and Fritz Von Erich rush to the ring side area to save Kerry from the two on one attack. Bobby Duncam and Terry Funk quickly leave.
-Fritz grabs a microphone and tells Gary Hart to find a third partner for Duncam and Funk because they will face his sons in the main event of card 15 from Houston in a best 2 out of 3 falls six-man tag team match.

*Later in the evening Gary Hart put out a social media post that says "Tonight I called my good friend Bobby Heenan and informed him that Terry Funk and his man Bobby Duncam needed a partner to fight the Von Erichs. Bobby told me he would send Ray Stevens to Houston for card 15."

*The show opens from the AWA press booth where Lance Russell, Gordon Solie, and Teddy Long are standing by.
-Teddy Long talks about making Fritz Von Erich the AWA promoter for the AWA in Texas. Teddy also says the AWA will crown an American champion at card 20 from Kansas City for our PPV "Wrestle Rock"
-Lance Russell then gives a rundown of the matches for tonight's card.
-Gordon Solie talks about the #1 contender match tonight for an AWA World Tag Team title shot between Dick The Bruiser & The Crusher vs. Stan Lane & Steve Keirn. He says the winner of this match will face the Blackjacks at card 20.
-While the three men are talking Larry Zbyszko joins them. He is holding a cup of coffee and says that he's just there to watch the matches.

1) 1st Round: Jimmy Snuka vs. Steve Regal** 1/30
*Jimmy Snuka wins by count out at 2:56
-The match ends after Larry Zbyszko walks to the ring during the match and taunts Steve Regal. Regal comes out of the ring to confront Larry. While they are trash talking Larry throws his cup of coffee in Regal's face.
-The referee count Steve Regal out while he walks are the ring blind from the coffee.
-Larry grabs a microphone and tells a still blind Steve Regal that they are even now. (See card 10)

2) 1st Round: The Destroyer vs. Ox Baker*** 1/30
*The Destroyer wins by pin at 2:10
-The Destroyer lands a strong back breaker to score the pinfall over Ox Baker.

*Lance Russell asks The Destroyer to join him in the press booth.
-The Destroyer talks about the hard-fought match he had with Bobby Duncam in St. Louis at card 6. He says he needed a little time to recover after that match but is ready to win the title tonight.

3) Curt Hennig*** with Larry Hennig vs. Boris Zhukov** with Nikita Breznikov 1/30
*Curt Hennig wins by pin at 9:41
-The match ends after a Hennig plex and pinfall.
-This was a very hard-hitting match up. Both men need some help getting to the locker room after.
-This is the second victory in a singles match for Curt Hennig over Boris Zhukov (card 11)

*Gordon Solie is in the locker room with Larry Zbyszko and Steve Regal.
-Larry says and eye for an eye. He tells Regal that he used the ropes to pin him in their match at card 10. So, he got his pay back tonight with a cup of coffee.
-Steve Regal laughs and says he can respect what Larry did tonight.
-Zbyszko and Regal shake hands and walk off together.
-Gordon says maybe we've just seen the start of a new team.

*Back in the press booth Lance Russell talks about the next match between Ronnie Garvin and Ken Patera. Russell talks about Patera putting Garvin in a full nelson at card 11 and causing Garvin to pass out in the full nelson.

4) Ronnie Garvin*** vs. Ken Patera*** with Bobby Heenan 1/30

-Ronnie Garvin taps out to Ken Patera's swinging full nelson

*Bill Apter is sitting in the AWA studio with The Von Erichs on ZOOM.
-The Von Erichs talk about holding all the Texas titles. They talk about the problem they are having with Terry Funk and Bobby Duncam.
-Bill Apter asks the brothers how they feel about Bobby Heenan sending Ray Stevens to Texas to help Funk and Duncam in a six man against them.
-The Von Erich's say is makes sense that the best would want to came to Texas and face the Von Erichs.
-Bill Apter thanks the Von Erichs for their time. Apter tells the AWA fans that the six-man tag team match will take place in Houston at card 15.

5) Semi-Final: Jimmy Snuka* vs. The Destroyer** 1/45
*The Destroyer wins by tap out at 8:09
-Jimmy Snuka tapped out to The Destroyer's figure four leglock
-After the match The Destroyer helps Jimmy Snuka to his feet and the two men shake hands with great respect for each other.

-The match ends by DQ after Nick Bockwinkel hits Curt Hennig with a chair after Ken Patera throws him out of the ring near the timekeeper's table.
-Larry Hennig (who is no longer wearing a boot on his foot) goes after Bockwinkel but AWA staff is quickly there to keep Larry Hennig from get at Nick Bockwinkel.
-Both men need help to the locker room.

7) #1 contender's match for AWA World Tag Team Title: Stan Lane** & Steve Keirn vs. The Crusher & Dick The Bruiser 1/60
*The Crusher & Dick The Bruiser win by pin at 7:32
-Dick The Bruiser pin Stan Lane after a top rope knee drop
-Teddy Long and the AWA World Tag Team Champions The Blackjacks come to the ring. Teddy Long has the two teams do a photo shut. After the photos the two teams face off and start talking trash to each other.
-The tag team title match is signed for card 20 at "Wrestle Rock" in Kansas City.

8) AWA International: The Destroyer*** vs. Curt Hennig**** with Larry Hennig 1/NL
*The Destroyer wins by pin at 3:34
-The match ends with a sunset flip and pin
-After the match Larry Hennig presents The Destroyer with the AWA International Championship.

*Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons win by tap out at 22:15
-Bill Irwin taps out to Billy Red Lyons sleeper hold.
-After the match Scott Irwin comes into the ring and pushes Red Bastien to the mat.
-The two teams share some insults with each other. Scott tries to bait Bastien into a fight. But both teams leave the ring without any issue.
-This was the Irwin's first match for the AWA outside the state of Texas.

4) Tugboat Taylor vs. Mad Dog Vachon** 1/30
*Tugboat Taylor wins by pin at 1:01
-The match ends after Tugboat Taylor does multiple anchor drops for a pinfall over Mad Dog Vachon.
-Tugboat Taylor after the match stands over Mad Dog Vachon with his arms in the air.
-After Taylor leaves the ring an angry Mad Dog Vachon, after he recovers, grabs the house microphone and yells that he will destroy Tugboat Taylor and challenges him to another fight.
-Tugboat Taylor comes back to the ring and tells Mad Dog Vachon he accepts.
-Teddy Long makes the one-on-one rematch for card 19 in Des Moines, IA for an ESPN+ event "Homecoming". He signs the match as a no DQ match.

5) Bob Backlund vs. Baron Von Raschke with Nikita Brezkov 1/30
*Bob Backlund wins by DQ at 0:33
-The match ends after Baron slams Backlund though a ring side table.
-After the DQ loss Baron and Nikita double team Backlund beating him til he is bleeding.
-AWA staff run to the ring to pull Baron and Nikita away from Backlund.
-Backlund needs help to the locker room after the beating he took.
-Later in the evening Bob Backlund via social media posts ask for a last man standing match with Baron Von Raschke.
-Teddy Long responds by booking the match also for "Homecoming" at card 19 in Des Moines.

6) Curt Hennig & Dick The Bruiser**** & The Crusher* with Larry Hennig vs. (AWA World) Nick Bockwinkel & (AWA World Tag) Blackjack Lanza* & (AWA World Tag) Blackjack Mulligan* with Bobby Heenan 1/60
*Curt Hennig & Dick The Bruiser & The Crusher win by DQ at 33:02
-Blackjack Mulligan hits The Crusher with a chair outside the ring which causes the referee to DQ Mulligan.
-After the DQ finish both teams including Larry Hennig and Bobby Heenan get into a wild brawl that goes into the crowd.
-AWA staff and wrestlers come out to get the four men under control.

*Joe LeDuc wins by pin at 2:32
-Joe LeDuc beats Joel Deaton after a flying elbow drop
-After the match Joe LeDuc pulls Joel Deaton out of the ring and puts him on a table. Joe Leduc gets on the table and sets up Joel Deaton for a piledriver.
-Fritz Von Erich runs to the ring and yells at Joe LeDuc that he won don't put Deaton though the table. Fritz threatens LeDuc with suspension from wrestling in Texas.
-Joe LeDuc drops Deaton and has words with Fritz before walking off.

2) Yukon Eric vs. Jake Milliman 1/20
*Yukon Eric wins by DQ at 0:42
-The match ends after Joe LeDuc snaps in the locker room and runs to the ring and attacks Yukon Eric with an ax handle. After knocking Yukon down LeDuc chokes him with the handle.
-Jerry Blackwell, Fritz Von Erich, and AWA staff ran to the ring to pull Joe LeDuc off Yukon Eric.
-Joe LeDuc starts wildly swing the ax handle at everyone in sight.
-Fritz tells LeDuc that he is suspended from wrestling for the AWA in Texas until further noticed.
-Houston police escort Joe LeDuc from the arena.
-Jerry Blackwell helps Yukon Eric to the lock room to get checked out by medical staff.

3) Jerry Blackwell vs. Wild Bill White 1/20
*Jerry Blackwell wins by DQ at 8:41
-The match ends after Wild Bill White hits Jerry Blackwell over the head with a steel chair while they're outside the ring.

***Intermission***

*After intermission Fritz Von Erich informs the fans that Yukon Eric and Jerry Blackwell are ok and will be headed up north to wrestle the Tolos brothers at card 17 in Sioux City, IA

4) 2 on 1 match: Art Thomas* vs. Adnan Al Kaissie & Skandor Akbar** 1/30
*Double DQ at 7:26
-The three men get into a brawl outside the ring and the referee throws the match out.
-After the brawl Fritz Von Erich informs Art Thomas and Kaissie that they will fight in a Texas Death Match at card 21 in Dallas.

5) Scott Casey & Sam Houston vs. Black Bart & Ron Bass 1/30
*Black Bart & Ron Bass win by tap out at 1:59
-Sam Houston taps out to Black Bart's cobra clutch hold.
-This was a rematch from card 12 the resulted in a DQ win for Casey and Houston.

*Fritz Von Erich comes out and sits at the timekeeper's table.

6) (AWA Texas) Kerry Von Erich & (AWA Texas Tag) David Von Erich***** & (AWA Texas Tag) Kevin Von Erich vs. Terry Funk & Bobby Duncam & Ray Stevens with Gary Hart 3/60
*Kerry Von Erich & David Von Erich & Kevin Von Erich win the match at 14:13 2 falls to 0
-The Von Erichs win the first fall by DQ at 5:19 after Terry Funk chokes David Von Erich with a cable that was at ring side past the referee's call for a break.
-The Von Erichs win the second fall by DQ at 14:13 after Bobby Duncam hits Kerry Von Erich with a chair while outside the ring.
-After the match a post-match brawl starts between the two sides.
-Black Bart and Ron Bass run out and go after David and Kevin. Fritz and Gary Hart jump in as well.
-AWA staff rush out to pull everyone apart.
-The Houston crowd cheers wildly during the brawl.

*A post is made by AWA social media that Kerry Von Erich will defend the AWA Texas title against Bobby Duncam at card 21. And the AWA Texas Tag Team Champions David and Kevin Von Erich will defend their titles against Ron Bass and Black Bart on the same show.
