-Ox Baker lands a heart punch that puts Gene Ligon down for a pinfall
-This was a rematch from card 2 that ended in a DQ win for Gene Ligon at 0:00 after Ox Baker attacked him before the bell.
-After the match Ox Baker grabs the house microphone and demands the AWA give him someone who can give him a real fight.

*Bobby Heenan comes to the timekeepers table to watch the next match.

2) Larry Hennig** vs. Kenny Jay 1/20
*Larry Hennig wins by pin at 3:30
-Larry Hennig wins with the axe.
-After the match Larry Hennig walks over to Bobby Heenan. Hennig tells Heenan to "count the cards there is only a few left til he takes Bockwinkel's title".
-Bobby Heenan points out that Hennig had a rough time beating Kenny Jay today and that he is no match for Nick Bockwinkel.

3) Jim Brunzell**** vs. Adrian Adonis with Sherri Martel 1/30
*Adrian Adonis wins by pin at 9:03
-The match ends after Jim Brunzell loses to a gut wrench backbreaker.
-Sherri Martel gets on the microphone. She informs the crowd that Adrian Adonis will be in the American Title battle royal at "Wrestle Rock" card 20 in Kansas City.
-Adrian takes the microphone and says, "Kansas City here we come and I'm coming to win the American Title".

***Intermission***

4) Steve Keirn & Stan Lane* vs. Boris Zhukov*** & Alexis Smirnoff***** with Nikita Breznikov 1/30
*Steve Keirn & Stan Lane win by pin at 16:56
-The match ends after Stan Lane does a savate kick to Alexis Smirnoff for the pinfall.
-During the match Nikita Breznikov was ejected from ringside and sent to the locker room for trying to get involved in the match a few times.
-This win keeps the team of Keirn and Lane in the #2 spot behind The Crusher and Dick The Bruiser for a shot at the AWA World Tag Team Championship.

5) Chaz Taylor & Tugboat Taylor* vs. Mad Dog Vachon & Butcher Vachon 1/30
*Mad Dog Vachon & Butcher Vachon win by pin at 3:41
-Mad Dog Vachon gets a bit of payback with a piledriver and pinfall over Tugboat Taylor.
-The Vachon's will face Yukon Eric and Jerry Blackwell at card 18
-The Taylor's will face the Tolos Brothers at card 18
-Tugboat Taylor and Mad Dog Vachon will meet in a no DQ match at card 19 "Homecoming" from Des Moines, IA.

*Curt Hennig sits ring side to view the next match between Jimmy Snuka and Ken Patera. The winner of this next match will face Curt Hennig in the main event of card 17. The winner of that match will face The Destroyer at card 20 for the AWA International Championship.

6) Jimmy Snuka* vs. Ken Patera** with Bobby Heenan 1/45
*Ken Patera wins by tap out at 18:27
-Jimmy Snuka taps out to Ken Patera's swinging full nelson
-After Jimmy Snuka taps out Patera won't let go of the hold.
-Curt Hennig jumps into the ring and attacks Patera. Patera retreats and leaves quickly with Bobby Heenan.

*After the show Teddy Long sends out via social media that Ox Baker will fight Ronnie Garvin at card 19. And then both men will be in the American Title battle royal.

-Golden Terror taps out The Destroyer's figure four leg lock to end the match in 37 seconds.

*Fans notice Verne Gagne sitting in the upper deck of the events center. (Using POKEDUCTIONS AWA set bootleg for Verne Gagne)

2) Bill Mulkey & Randy Mulkey vs. Bill Irwin & Scott Irwin 1/20
*Bill Irwin & Scott Irwin win by count out at 6:02
-Bill and Scott Irwin beat the Mulkey's up pretty badly outside the ring which caused the Mulkly's to be unable to get back into the ring before the count of 20.

*Joe LeDuc and Wild Bill White make their presence known in the stands before the start of the next match.
-Note: Joe LeDuc was suspended from wrestling in Texas for the AWA by Fritz Von Erich for attacking Yukon Eric with an ax handle at card 15.
-Wild Bill White in his last match at card 15 was DQ'ed for hitting Jerry Blackwell over the head with a steel chair during their match.

3) Yukon Eric & Jerry Blackwell**** vs. John Tolos & Chris Tolos 1/30
*Yukon Eric & Jerry Blackwell win by DQ at 16:28
-The match is called off after Wild Bill White runs to the ringside rails and hits Jerry Blackwell with a chair.
-After the match is called off Joe LeDuc and Wild Bill White jump the ringside rail and attach Yukon Eric and a down Jerry Blackwell.
-The Tolos Brothers also jump in making it a 4 on 2 attack.
-AWA staff and talent from the locker rush out to pull the 4 attacking men off Yukon Eric and Jerry Blackwell.
-Joe LeDuc and Wild Bill White are removed for Tyson Event Center by local Sioux City police.

***Intermission***

*During intermission Bill Apter, who is in Sioux City covering the matches for AWA's social media outlets, sits down next to Verne Gagne to interview him.
-Verne Gagne tells Bill Apter that he has signed a deal with Teddy Long and the AWA. He says as part of this deal his first match will be at card 30 in Las Vegas at the AWA PPV "Super Card".
-Bill Apter asks Verne if he knows who his opponent will be?
-Verne says, "no he doesn't know for share, but he does know that he will be wrestling for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship in the main event that night".

4) Steve Keirn* & Stan Lane vs. Moondog Rex & Moondog Spot 1/30
*Steve Keirn & Stan Lane win by pin at 1:24
-Steve Keirn does a fabulous forearm to Moondog Spot for the pinfall victory.
-After the match Moondog Rex jumps into the ring with a bone and hits Steve Keirn on the head knocking him out.
-Stan Lane rushes in and goes toe to toe with Moondog Rex in a fist fight.
-While the two are fighting Moondog Spot recovers and picks up the bone and hits Stan Lane in the back of the head knocking him down.
-The Moondog's stomp on the two men for a minute and then leave.
-The crowd throws trash at the Moondog's as they walk to the locker room.

5) Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons vs. Boris Zhukov* & Alexis Smirnoff** with Nikita Breznikov 1/30
*Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons win by tap out at 8:12
-Alexis Smirnoff taps out to Billy Red Lyons while in the figure four leg lock.

*(AWA International) The Destroyer walks to the ring and sits at the timekeeper's table.

6) #1 Contender's Match for a shot at the AWA International Title: Curt Hennig* vs. Ken Patera with Bobby Heenan 1/45
*Ken Patera wins by DQ at 2:05
-The match ends after Curt Hennig does a Hennig Plex to Ken Patera that puts him though the timekeeper's table in front of The Destroyer.
-After the DQ is called The Destroyer stands over Ken Patera and tells Bobby Heenan that this is the view he'll be seeing at card 20 after he beat Patera.
-Curt Hennig is disappointed in the DQ loss and shakes The Destroyer's hand after the match.
-The Destroyer tells Curt that there will be other chances at the AWA International title for him in the future.

*Via social media Teddy Long post that Steve Keirn & Stan Lane will fight the Moondog's in a NO DQ match at card 20 "Wrestle Rock'
-Teddy Long and Fritz Von Erich both post that Kerry, Kevin, and David Von Erich will wrestle their first matches for the AWA outside the state of Texas at card 18 from Omaha. Their match will be a six-man tag team match against Frogman LeBlanc, Golden Terror, and Jake Milliman.

-The match ends after Chris Tolos counters a cross body from Chaz Taylor and gets a surprise pinfall.

2) Non-Title Match: (AWA International) The Destroyer*** vs. Kenny Jay 1/20
*The Destroyer wins by tap out at 3:36
-Kenny Jay taps out to the only move The Destroyer gets for the match a bow & arrow hold.
-After the match Ken Patera, who was in the Heenan family locker room, comes to the ring. He takes the house microphone laughs and says "You almost got beat three times during this match by that loser Kenny Jay. And you only got one move in the whole match. Destroyer save yourself the beating at Wrestle Rock and just give me the belt now"
-The Destroyer rips the microphone from Patera's hands and says "I'll only need one move to beat you at Wrestle Rock. So why don't you do yourself a favor and just tap out now and save yourself the pain of a broken body". The Destroyer drops the microphone at the feet of Patera and leaves the ring.

*Joe LeDuc and Wild Bill White much like last show match their presents known before the start of the next match.

3) Yukon Eric* & Jerry Blackwell vs. Mad Dog Vachon* & Butcher Vachon* 1/30
*Yukon Eric & Jerry Blackwell win by DQ at 7:07
-The referee calls for the bell after Jerry Blackwell lands a (+3) BIG SPLASH on Butcher Vachon. While attempting the pin Joe LeDuc and Wild Bill White again (see card 17) jump the rail and attack Yukon Eric and Jerry Blackwell.
-The four men brawl out of the ring and to the locker room area until being pulled apart by AWA staff and talent.

***Intermission***

*During intermission Teddy Long books, a tag team match Yukon Eric & Jerry Blackwell vs. Joe LeDuc & Wild Bill White for card 19 "Home Coming" from Des Moines, IA.

*Larry Hennig & Dick The Bruiser & The Crusher win by pin at 11:42
-Larry Hennig stuns Nick Bockwinkel with a double forearm hammer and pinfall. (Note the pin happened with a roll of snake eyes)
-After the match Bobby Heenan protest to the referee saying that the pinfall was due to a fast count.
-Larry Hennig points at Bockwinkel and tells him at card 20 the result will be the same.

*Teddy Long puts out a statement via social media. He informs AWA fans that as per AWA rules Larry Hennig will get an AWA World Title shot within the next 50 cards (19-69) because of his pinfall win over the AWA World Champion Nick Bockwinkel in a non-title match.
-So, this means that no matter the result from the World Title match at card 20 Larry Hennig by rule gets another shot that can be used within the 50-card window. If he wins the belt at card 20 and loses it before card 69, he can use this win to get another shot.

*The show opens with Lance Russell and Gordon Solie in the press booth with Larry Hennig.
-Lance Russell gives the fans a rundown of the night's action which is highlighted by the main event between Bob Backlund and Baron Von Raschke in a last man standing match.
-Gordon Solie then turns the attention to their guest Larry Hennig to the top contender for the World Heavyweight title.
-Larry Hennig talks about pinning Nick Bockwinkel in a six-man tag team match at card 18. He says that at card 20 at Wrestle Rock he will defeat Nick Bockwinkel again to take the World Title.

1) Jerry Blackwell & Yukon Eric vs. Wild Bill White & Joe LeDuc 1/30
*Wild Bill White & Joe LeDuc win by DQ at 9:20
-The match is called off after Yukon Eric blast Wild Bill White with a steel chair outside the ring.
-After the match both Yukon Eric & Jerry Blackwell go after Joe LeDuc. But LeDuc quickly runs away though the crowd.
-The problems between these men started at card 15 after Joe LeDuc attacked Yukon Eric with an ax handle. This was followed by Wild Bill White hitting Jerry Blackwell with a chair later on some card.
-At both card 17 and 18 Wild Bill White and Joe LeDuc got involved in Yukon Eric and Jerry Blackwell's tag team matches. After the involvement at card 18 the two teams got into a wild brawl that spread to the locker room.
-Yukon Eric and Joe LeDuc have a signed match against each other at Wrestle Rock card 20.

*Lance Russell is in the press booth with AWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Bockwinkel.
-Lance Russell asks Nick Bockwinkel how he is preparing for his title match at card 20 mentally after being pinned last card by Larry Hennig.
-Nick Bockwinkel says that loss does not matter to him since it was in a six-man tag team match. He says that he will easily defeat Larry Hennig at card 20. Bockwinkel goes on to say that card 20 will be a great night for the Heenan Family. He says Ken Patra will win the International title and the Blackjacks will defend the World tag team belt and Ray Stevens will win the battle royal to be the American champion. Plus, at card 21 Bobby Duncam will take the Texas title off Kerry Von Erich. He says that being a part of the Heenan Family means you are a champion and over the next two shows we'll prove that.

2) Ronnie Garvin*** vs. Ox Baker**** 1/30
*Ronnie Garvin wins by pin at 15:25
-Ronnie Garvin hits Ox Baker with the hands of stone to score the pin fall win.
-This was a hard-hitting match that left both men needing help to the locker room.
-Both Ronnie Garvin and Ox Baker have been signed to compete in the American title battle royal at card 20.

3) No DQ match: Tugboat Taylor** vs. Mad Dog Vachon* 1/NL
*Mad Dog Vachon wins by pin at 4:19
-Mad Dog Vachon lands a hard knee to the face of Tugboat Taylor to get the pin fall.
-After the match Mad Dog Vachon takes a chain, he brought to the ring and wimps Tugboat Taylor with it multiple times before leaving the ring.

***Intermission***

*During intermission a pre-taped sit-down interview is played. Bill Apter sits down with both AWA International Champion The Destroyer and Ken Patera.
-The two men trade insults during the interview. Both explain how easy this matchup is for them and quickly they will beat the other.
-Bill Apter ends the interview by giving both men a chance to shake the others hand. But the two men just turn and walk off.

*Afte intermission AWA Texas Champion Kerry Von Erich joins Lance Russell in the press booth.
-Kerry Von Erich talks about his match at card 21 against Bobby Duncam. He says Duncam has been running his mouth to much and its time that he shuts him up. Kerry then lays out a challenge to Nick Bockwinkel to face him one on one in Texas.

4) Non-title match: (AWA Texas Tag) David Von Erich* & (AWA Texas Tag) Kevin Von Erich vs. Bobby Duncam & Ray Stevens with Bobby Heenan 1/30
*Bobby Duncam & Ray Stevens win by pin at 1:14
-Ray Stevens pins David Von Erich after bombs away.
-The match started before the bell after Duncam & Stevens jumps the Von Erichs outside the ring.
-Due to the pre match beating David Von Erich was easily beaten.
-After the match Bobby Duncam runs over to the press booth and gets in Kerry Von Erich's face.
-Kerry pushes Bobby Duncam to the ground and AWA staff quickly keep the two apart.
-Bobby Duncam & Ray Stevens with the non-title win earn a shot at the AWA Texas Tag Team Titles sometime within the next 50 cards (20-70).

5) Jimmy Snuka** vs. Adrian Adonis** with Sherri Martel 1/30
*Adrian Adonis wins by tap out at 5:11
-Jimmy Snuka taps out to goodnight Irene to end the match.
-Jimmy Snuka had Adrian Adonis in trouble twice after two superfly splashes. But both times Sherri Martel got involved in the match to save Adonis.
-After the match Sherri Martel and Adrian Adonis stump on Jimmy Snuka.
-Bob Backlund runs out of the locker room with a chair to make the save for Jimmy Snuka and run off Sherri Martel and Adrian Adonis.
-Bob Backlund stays in the ring to wait for his main event match.

*Teddy Long comes out of the locker room and informs fans that Nikita Breznikov will not be allowed at ringside for tonight's main event.

6) Last Man Standing: Bob Backlund***** vs. Baron Von Raschke*** 0/NL
*Bob Backlund wins after Baron Von Raschke does not answer the referee's ten count at 12:22
-Bob Backlund makes Baron Von Raschke pass on in his cross-face chicken wing.
-After the match Nikita Breznikov & Boris Zhukov & Alexis Smirnoff run out from the back and attack Backlund.
-During this 3 on 1 attack Yukon Eric, Jerry Blackwell, and the three Von Erich brothers run to the ring to make the save for Backlund which causes the three man to grab Raschke and retreat.
-After Bob Backlund recovers, he grabs the house microphone and yells "this isn't over yet, not even close".
-Both Bob Backlund and Baron Von Raschke are added to the American Title battle royal at card 20.

(Note was originally Kauffman Stadium until I added dates to my fed and thought an outdoor event in February would be a bit cold.)

*The show opens with Lance Russell, Teddy Long, and Verne Gagne sitting in the AWA press booth high above the field behind home plate.
-Teddy Long gives a rundown of the card. Teddy also advertises the next AWA PPV "Super Card" from Las Vegas set for card 30.
-Lance Russell says, "Speaking of the next PPV Verne Gagne will make his debut at Super Card when he challenges for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship".
-Verne Gagne talks about his contact with AWA and getting that World Title shot put into his contract. He says he feel that it won't matter who the champion is that he will claim the title at card 30.
-Lance Russell thanks Verne Gagne and Teddy Long for their time and sends the broadcast to Gordon Solie who is standing by on the field in the AWA interview booth.

*Gordon Solie thanks Lance Russell and then turns his attention to his guest Bobby Duncam. He asks Bobby Duncam about his feeling on Kerry Von Erich and the AWA Texas Heavyweight Championship.
-Bobby Duncam say's at card 21 he has a shot at the Texas title and feels that with Bobby Heenan in his corner that there is no way he can loss.
-Gordon Solie mentions that Bobby Duncam and Ray Stevens have a non-title win over the Texas Tag Team Champions David Von Erich and Kevin Von Erich. Though he say's by underhanded means (see card 19).
-Bobby Duncam laughs and says that how you win doesn't matter as long as you win.
-Gordon Solie thanks Bobby Duncam for his time and sends the broadcast to the ring to start tonight's action.

1) Non-title match: (AWA Texas) Kerry Von Erich vs. Golden Terror* 1/20
*Kerry Von Erich wins by pin at 3:29
-Kerry Von Erich lands a discus punch to score the pinfall victory over Golden Terror.
-After the match Bobby Duncam walks to the ring and gets in Kerry's face.
-The two men insult each other while ring side photographers shot photos of the two men.
-Teddy Long runs out and calmly talks to both men and is able to have them leave the ring peacefully.

2) NO DQ: Steve Keirn & Stan Lane vs. Moondog Rex*** & Moondog Spot**** 1/NL
*Steve Keirn & Stan Lane win by pin at 29:02
-The match ends after Steve Keirn does a hot shot on Rex for the pin.
-This match took place because of a post-match beat down the Moondog's did after a loss to Keirn and Lane at card 17.
-Steve Keirn and Stan Lane join Gordon Solie at the interview booth.
-Steve Keirn says that Stan Lane and himself want a shot at the winner of tonight's World Tag Team Title match.

-Fritz talks about AWA card 21 from Dallas, TX at Fair Park Coliseum. He says that the Texas title will be on the line as Kerry Von Erich defends against Bobby Duncam. Fritz says his sons David and Kevin will defend the Texas Tag Team Championship against Ron Bass and Black Bart. He also says Terry Funk will be on the card plus Jim Brunzell will make his Texas debut against Ray Stevens.
-Lance Russell thanks Fritz for his time and sends the broadcast back to the ring.

4) AWA International: (c)The Destroyer* vs. Ken Patera**** with Bobby Heenan 1/60
*The Destroyer wins by pin at 9:17
-The Destroyer roll-ups Ken Patera for a pinfall.
-The Destroyer quickly rolls out of the ring after the match and leaves while Patera and Heenan yell at the referee telling him the count was fast, and The Destroyer was holding Patera's tights (which he was not).

5) Yukon Eric* vs. Joe LuDuc 1/30
*Joe LuDuc wins by pin at 2:05
-Joe LuDuc makes quick work of Yukon Eric with a devastating backbreaker.
-Joe LuDuc spits on Yukon Eric before leaving to the boos of the crowd.

6) AWA World Tag Team Championship: (c)Blackjack Mulligan & Blackjack Lanza with Bobby Heenan vs. The Crusher & Dick The Bruiser 1/60
*The Crusher & Dick The Bruiser win by DQ at 2:17
-The match ends after Blackjack Lanza losses his temper after being unable to get the upper hand and punches the referee out.
-Blackjack Mulligan then throws chairs into the ring at The Crusher and Dick The Bruiser.
-Bobby Heenan calms the Blackjacks down and quickly gets them to the locker room.

*The Crusher and Dick The Bruiser join Gordon Solie at the AWA interview booth.
-The Crusher calls the Blackjacks cowards for taking the easy way out and getting themselves DQ'ed
-Teddy Long joins the men in the interview booth. He say's that as per AWA rules The Crusher and Dick The Bruiser will get another shot at the titles within 50 cards at a card of their choosing.
-Teddy Long also says that Blackjack Lanza is fined $50,000 for hitting an AWA official. And is put on probation for 50 cards. This means that if another incident like this happens again, he'll be fired from the AWA.
-Bobby Heenan runs out and says that a $50,000 fine is too much.
-Teddy Long tells Bobby Heenan that he is lucky the fine isn't $100,000 and that Blackjack Lanza isn't fired right now.
-Bobby Heenan waves Teddy Long off and walks away.

7) Non-title match: (AWA Texas Tag) David Von Erich & (AWA Texas Tag) Kevin Von Erich vs. Boris Zhukov** & Alexis Smirnoff with Nikita Breznikov 1/30
*David Von Erich & Kevin Von Erich win by tap out at 2:29
-The match ends after Boris Zhukov taps out to David Von Erich's iron claw hold.

-Fritz Von Erich comes to the ring to meet Gary Hart face to face.
-Gary Hart demands an AWA Texas title shot for Terry Funk. He accuses Fritz of protecting Kerry Von Erich because he is Fritz's son.
-Fritz Von Erich takes the microphone away from Gary Hart. He says that Terry Funk had a non-title match against Kerry already and lost at card 12 by DQ. He tells Terry Funk if he wants a shot he'll have to earn it.
-Terry Funk grabs the microphone and tells Fritz that he is the best wrestler that he has in Texas and that he is lucky to have him.
-Fritz turns to leave but Terry Funk spins him around and sucker punches him knocking him to the ground.
-Gary Hart grabs Terry Funk and quickly gets him out of the ring.
-Fritz jumps up as fast as he could and yells for Terry Funk to get back to the ring. But Hart pushes Funk to the locker room.

2) Scott Casey & Sam Houston vs. Bill Irwin & Scott Irwin 1/30

-Bill Irwin lands a float kick to Sam Houston to score a pinfall victory.
-Bill Irwin grabs the house microphone. He says that his brother and himself have only lost two matches. One against the Von Erichs at card 12 and one against Red Bastien and Billy Red Lyons at card 14 in Fargo.
-Scott Irwin takes the microphone from Bill. He lays out a challenge to Bastien and Lyons to come to Texas to fight his brother and himself.

3) Texas Death Match: Art Thomas* vs. Adnan Al Kaissie**** with Skandor Akbar 0/NL
*Art Thomas wins after Adnan Al Kaissie cannot answer the referee's ten count at 5:24
-Adnan Al Kaissie is pinned at 2:16 due to a big boot but answers the referee's count by six
-Adnan Al Kaissie taps out at 2:34 to a bearhug but answers the referee's count by seven
-Adnan Al Kaissie taps out at 5:14 to a bearhug but is unable to answer the referee's count by ten to end the match.
-After the match as Art Thomas is celebrating his victory Iron Sheik runs to the ring from the crowd and attacks Thomas from behind. Iron Sheik put Thomas in a camel clutch.
-Bobo Brazil, who is a friend of Art Thomas and was invited to the show by him, runs out of the crowd and fights off Iron Sheik.

-After the referee calls for the bell Black Bart & Ron Bass confront Ray Stevens questioning him on why he would get them DQ'ed.
-Bobby Heenan runs out and hands both Black Bart and Ron Bass cash and tells them that this was Heenan family business. They accept the cash and leave.
-Ray Stevens and Heenan mock the Von Erichs as they leave with Bart and Bass.

-The match ends after Bobby Duncam hits Kerry with the Texas title belt.
-After the match Ray Stevens runs back to the ring. Bobby Duncam and Ray Stevens then attack Kerry in a 2 on 1 attack.
-David, Kevin, and Fritz ran to the ring. Stevens and Duncam quickly leave before they can be attacked.
-After Kerry recovers, he grabs a microphone. He calls out Bobby Heenan and says he wants Nick Bockwinkel and he knows that this was a set up to send him a message.
-Bobby Heenan walks back to the ring and takes a microphone. He says the Kerry is right that this was a set up to send him a message. But since Kerry's listening. He says that at card 25 he'll have Nick Bockwinkel come to Texas and face him in a non-title match. He also tells David and Kevin that Bobby Duncam and Ray Stevens will cash in their Texas Tag Team shot at card 25 as well. He also tells Fritz to book Ken Patera too for card 25 or Nick Bockwinkel won't be coming to Texas.
-Fritz tells Heenan to consider it all done and that they'll see them in Fort Worth at card 25.

-Terry is left bleeding from the fork stab.
-After the Fritz is DQ'ed and man in a Texas State Prison outfit jumps over the guard rail, gets in the ring, and attacks Fritz Von Erich.
-Fritz and this man go toe to toe in the center of the ring until Fritz gets the upper hand and knocks the man out of the ring.
-Gary Hart grabs the man, as he tries to get back into the ring, and yells "Tim, we'll get him on another day."
-The Fort Worth Police try to grab this man, but Gary Hart pulls what he yells is a contact for one "Killer" Tim Brooks.

-Gary Hart and Tim Brooks help a bleeding Terry Funk back to the locker room.

-The crowd starts to throw thrush at the Iron Sheik while yelling all sorts of angry words at him.
-The Fort Worth Police must guard Iron Sheik and Skandor Akbar as they walk to the locker room.

-Gene Ligon is beaten after he receives multiple hard stomps to his head while down on the mat.
-After the match Ken Patera and Bobby Heenan go sit and the AWA social media booth and are interviewed by Lance Russell via ZOOM.
-Ken Patera says that he wants a rematch with The Destroyer for the AWA International Championship. He says that The Destroyer had a hold of his tights when he pinned him at card 20 in Kansas City.
-Bobby Heenan says that his very trustworthy lawyers have reviewed the film footage, and they are currently bringing a lawsuit against the AWA to get a rematch for Ken Patera against The Destroyer for the title.

***Intermission***

*During intermission Fritz Von Erich puts out a statement. The statement says that at card 29 from Houston he will team up with his son Kerry Von Erich to face Terry Funk and Tim Brooks

*Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons win by DQ at 6:15
-The match ends after Bill Irwin, who couldn't get the upper hand at all during this match, hit Billy Red Lyons with the ring bell while they were outside the ring.
-Scott Irwin and Bill Irwin quickly leave after the ring side area after the match.

*The AWA World Tag Team Champions The Blackjacks are booed as they make their way to the ring to sit at the timekeepers table for the next match.

5) AWA Texas Tag Team Championship: (c) David Von Erich & Kevin Von Erich** vs. Bobby Duncam & Ray Stevens with Bobby Heenan 1/60
*Bobby Duncam & Ray Stevens win by DQ at 2:22
-Kevin Von Erich is throw out of the ring by Bobby Duncam near The Blackjacks. While out of the ring Blackjack Mulligan throws a punch at Kevin but misses. Kevin grabs a chair and swings but hits Bobby Duncan when has just come out of the ring. The referee calls for the bell.
-Kevin after the bell starts to swing the chair wildly at The Blackjacks who retreat to the locker room along with Duncam, Stevens, and Heenan.
-David protest to the referee saying that The Blackjacks had no reason to be at ringside.
-Due to the DQ loss for the Von Erichs, Bobby Duncam and Ray Stevens will get a rematch for the Texas Tag Team Championship.

6) Non-Title Match: (AWA World) Nick Bockwinkel***** with Bobby Heenan vs. (AWA Texas) Kerry Von Erich* 1/60
*Kerry Von Erich wins by DQ at 13:53
-Kerry has a very bloody Nick Bockwinkel in the Iron Claw Hold and Bockwinkel looks like he is about to pass out from the hold. Bobby Duncam, Ray Stevens, and Ken Patera run out to the ring and attack Kerry in a 3 on 1 assault. This causes the referee to DQ Nick Bockwinkel.
-David, Kevin, and Fritz come to the ring and a wild brawl that goes all over Cowtown Coliseum begins. The Fort Worth Police have to pull the fighting men apart and keep the crowd under control.
-After control is restored Kerry Von Erich gets back in the ring and grabs the house microphone. He says that the AWA Texas Championship as of tonight is the real-World Championship.

*Later in the night via social media Fritz Von Erich stats that the AWA Texas Tag Team Title will be defended at card 29 from Houston 3/23/01 when David and Kevin defend against Duncam and Stevens in a third match between the teams. (See card 19 and 25)
-Also, on card 29 a No DQ match Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons vs. Scott Irwin & Bill Irwin
