Grant is right, I got laid out with something that tested negative for Covid, but was surprisingly similar to Covid, then I had to help my dad, who is an amputee with limited mobility, move out of a house he's been living in for nearly 2 decades with only one week's notice. He's also a bit of a hoarder, so it was one of those "holy hell...how are we going to do this..." sort of jobs.
I started feeling better last week with only some minor lingering effects, and I finished up the moving job yesterday, so *hopefully* I'll be back on the ball with the set previews and I'll open up orders this weekend.

It's Bootlegs of Wrestling teaser season... This will be an 8 card set like most of the Bootlegs of Wrestling sets and has a loose focus on "forgotten or underrated" champions. All cards in this set have brand new artwork by the incomparable Werner Mueck. This week I'm doing 3 teasers to get us all caught up. There will be one today, one tomorrow, and one Saturday. Today's teaser is a card who's artwork was graciously lent to me by Mike Leotis. He was a dominant top star in Stu Hart's Stampede Wrestling, and then moved to east Tennessee and worked promotions in that area. Upon retirement he became a police officer in that area and was in charge of driving the prisoner transport for a long time...of course, this could be no one but The Mongolian Stomper.  Pre-orders for this set are now open, and will run until Sept. 30th. So you guys have plenty of advance notice and a full month to get your order in, hopefully this will be enough time for everyone who wants a set to get their orders in so no one misses out. I plan to get these to the printers in the first week of October, and in the mail by or before the 2nd week of October. If you would like to order a physical set, please PayPal $35ppd to failure@myself.com using the "Friends and Family" option so I don't have to pay a bunch of PayPal fees and taxes. If you'd like to order a PDF set, please PayPal $20 to the same address using the same option. Please include either your mailing address for physical sets or your e-mail address for PDF sets in the notes section. |

I had this piece of art commissioned through Jerod and the great PDF Prime group. I was so pleased that Carl was going to be doing The Stomper in this set. Carl's sets are some of the top cards out there and I'm truly honored to see this art featured on his background.
Thanks for the shoutout as well Carl. Appreciate you. Thanks so much for delivering these great sets for all of us to enjoy.
