It's Bootlegs of Wrestling teaser season... This will be an 8 card set like most of the Bootlegs of Wrestling sets and has a loose focus on "forgotten or underrated" champions. All cards in this set have brand new artwork by the incomparable Werner Mueck. This week I'm doing 3 teasers to get us all caught up. There was one yesterday and there will be one today, and one Saturday. The second teaser this week was a major player in the early days of wrestling. Holding multiple versions of the World Heavyweight Championship. He's the man who made Danno O'Mahoney look like a chump using his first class catch wrestling ability to expose the vastly under-skilled champion. Surely the man in question could be no one else but Dick Shikat.  Pre-orders for this set are now open, and will run until Sept. 30th. So you guys have plenty of advance notice and a full month to get your order in, hopefully this will be enough time for everyone who wants a set to get their orders in so no one misses out. I plan to get these to the printers in the first week of October, and in the mail by or before the 2nd week of October. If you would like to order a physical set, please PayPal $35ppd to failure@myself.com using the "Friends and Family" option so I don't have to pay a bunch of PayPal fees and taxes. If you'd like to order a PDF set, please PayPal $20 to the same address using the same option. Please include either your mailing address for physical sets or your e-mail address for PDF sets in the notes section. (Please note the actual card art is of much higher quality. Facebook does a number on images and I've deliberately shrunk the image on top of that...) |

Shikat is another really good name. Yeah, Shikat was one of the first bootlegs I created. I had a black and white version of him. I was happy to redo his stats to make them a bit more in line with the game (you know how first/early bootlegs go...) and get a great piece of Werner art to really make him feel like he's part of the game. |

I multiple time world champion, and one of wrestling's first "big man" types, though most of his offense was more finesse based than strength based. He was the first guy to use the double-underhook suplex regularly as far as I know, though he called it a "Winglock Suplex". This man is Sandor Szabo.
