Card 22 and Card 23: House Shows reported on by Freddie Blassie
Bobo Brazil defeats The Sandman by pinfall with the BIG HAMMER PUNCH. Brazil was in control of this match most of the time. *
The Crusher defeats George South by pinfall with the CRUSHER BOLO. Easy win for the Crusher. *
Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeats The Iron Sheik by pinfall when he hits the FLYING SPEAR. A very good match where the Sheik hit a couple of loaded boots, but couldnt lock in the CAMEL CLUTCH. Duggan picks up a big win. ***
Ray Stevens defeats Timber by DQ when Timber rams Stevens' head into the table. The ref calls for the bell in this one, and Timber is furious. He grabs his barbed wire baseball bat and takes a swing at Stevens. Fortunately for Ray it missed, and he was able to escape to the dressing room. **
Konnan and Bagwell defeat The Blond Bombers by pinfall when Konnan hits the POWER BOMB on Buddy Rose. A back and forth match with lots of action. Sharpe looked like he was gonna be done early, but got the tag into Buddy. Buddy went to work on Bagwell, but Bagwell managed to tag in Konnan. Konnan came in on fire, and put Rose away quickly. ***
Cousin Luke defeats Diamond Dallas Page by DQ when DDP pushes the referee. DDP dominated the match, but couldnt hook in the DIAMOND CUTTER. Frustrated by this as well as not being able to put Luke away led to the DQ *
The Midnight Express (Eaton/Lane) w/ Jim Cornette defeat The Valiants (w/ Lou Albano) by pinfall when Eaton hits the VEG-O-MATIC on Johnny. A pretty good match that saw the Valiants come up just short. American Wrestling Alliance (AWA) Commissioner Charlie Cox was at ringside, and was seen talking to Captain Lou after the match. **
Rick Rude defeats Steve Corino by pinfall with the RUDE AWAKENING. A nice debut for Rude as he and Corino had a pretty good match. It took 2 finishers to get Corino, but he eventually got the win. **
Giant Baba defeats The Missing Link (w/ Bobby Heenan) by pinfall when Baba hits the NECKBREAKER DROP. Link almost pulled off the upset in this one. Baba started out fast, and Heenan had to interfere in this one to save Link. Then Link started pounding on Baba, and he hit the BACK FLYING HEADBUTT twice, but Baba kicked out both times. ***
Justin Credible defeats Ox Baker by DQ when Baker rams Justin's head into the steel post. A frustrated Baker, who delivered 2 HEART PUNCHES in the match, both of which Credible kicked out of, thought it would be a good idea to deliver a 3rd one after the bell. **
Ted Dibiase (w/ Virgil) defeats Jimmy Snuka by submission with the MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER. A pretty good match where Snuka couldnt put Dibiase away. Snuka went for the win, but Virgil interfered. Snuka spots Virgil out of the corner of his eye and knocks their 2 heads together! He goes for the pin, but Dibiase kicked out. Snuka heads to the top rope for a deathjump, but Dibiase moves and applies his MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER for the 3rd time in the match and the victory. ***
King Kong Bundy defeats Larry Zbyszko (w/ Bobby Heenan) by pinfall with the AVALANCHE. Larry started off dominating the match, nailing Bundy with several moves. Larry then removes the turnbuckle pad and slams Bundy's head into it. Bundy is staggered but not out. Zbyszko then tries a turnbuckle move to put Bundy away but Bundy sidesteps the move and Zbyszko hits the exposed turnbuckle! Larry is staggerd, and pulls himself up using the ropes in the corner. Bundy then runs into the corner and delivers the AVALANCHE. Heenan tries to distract, but Bundy doesnt fall for it. Bundy gets the 1-2-3. Then in Bundy fashion, he signals for the 5. 4-5 and Bundy gets a huge win over his former stable. ****
Blassie: Some pretty good matches in this week's House Shows. What the hell was Cox doing out here talking to Albano for? Someone should have clobbered him! Anyways, on deck for NITRO, the main event will be Diamond Dallas Page challenging Nikolai Volkoff for the U.S. Championship! Plus, Giant Baba and King Kong Bundy will battle members of the Heenan Family in singles competition. Also, Sabu will try to get revenge on Ivan Koloff! Should be another great show! Cya on NITRO!

Card 24: Monday NITRO on FX
Monsoon: What a NITRO we have in store for you all! BCW U.S. Champion Nikolai Volkoff defends his title vs DDP! Plus Ivan Koloff makes his BCW debut by taking on Sabu! King Kong Bundy and Giant Baba both take out their revenge on the Heenan family in singles competition!
Blassie: Wow, what a NITRO! And thats not all........
Commissioner Ventura's music hits, and he and Adrian Adonis head to the ring.
Ventura: I would like to invite to the ring at this time, the commissioner of the AWA, Charlie Cox!
Cox heads to the ring, surprisingly by himself.
Ventura: Charlie, say what you have to say to the great fans of the BCW!
Cox: Hello wrestling fans! Am excited to announce that King Promotions, owners of BCW, have decided to expand their wrestling company! As you may be aware of, I have been appointed commissioner of the new company, the American Wrestling Alliance. We will be starting up the promotion in the very near future, and if you enjoy the BCW, you will definitely enjoy our new fed!
Ventura: So, how does this all effect the BCW?
Cox: Well, we are a seperate entity, but owned by the same company. We will have our own champions, talent, etc. that will be exclusive to the AWA. But in the future, we will combine our talents to make super PPVs a few times a year, plus have our talent be able to be drafted/traded to the other fed. That could benefit everyone, including the BCW, AWA, the wrestlers themselves, and most importantly, the fans of both companies!
Ventura: Well, it sounds like a win/win for both companies and their fans! I met with Mr. King earlier, and he wanted to inform me that some of the BCW talent was heading to the AWA. I am not too crazy about this.......
Cox: Easy, Ventura. It's not like you got nothing from what happened.
Ventura: I am very happy with what I got, but didn't want to see the current guys go. I thought they had a lot of potential, but I wish them well in the AWA.
Cox: Here is the list of guys I acquired from the BCW:
Captain Lou Albano The Valiants The Dream Team The Destroyer Johnny Valentine
Ventura: Here is the list of guys I acquired from the AWA:
The New Age Outlaws The Armstrongs The Terrible Turk Rikidozan
Turk and Rikidozan are satisfying commitments in Japan, and will not be able to join the BCW for a little while, but the 2 tag teams that were acquired will be starting very soon!
Cox: All the men that were acquired from BCW will be put in the drawings for the AWA Heavyweight Championship and Tag Team Championship Tournaments! These men will all be guaranteed a spot in whatever tournament they will want to take part in, but their seeding is random. (See "King Promotions Presents the AWA" for future developments in the AWA)
Ventura: Good luck to you and the AWA, Mr. Cox. Now get out of my ring, we have a show to run!
(Cox shakes Ventura's hand and leaves the ring. Ventura and Adonis shortly leave afterwards.)
Monsoon: Wow, what developments! The tag team division just got a lot stronger with the Armstrongs and the Outlaws coming to BCW!
Blassie: The Valentine Family had their ups and downs in the BCW, but I wish them all the best in the AWA. The Valiants as well. The Million Dollar Corporation lost a member in the draft, but I'm sure they will recover. Lets head to the ring!
Match 1: The Crusher defeats Steve Corino by submission with the CRUSHER NELSON. A bloody match (Crusher 6 tokens, Corino 4 tokens) that had a lot of the match go outside of the ring. A patient or blind referee, depending on how you look at hit allows Corino to use foreign objects on Crusher 3 times during the match with no DQ. ***
Blassie: A nice opening match! What a scientific showcase!
Monsoon: They fought 80 percent of the match outside of the ring. The ref did a good job by letting a lot of stuff go to get a clear winner in this one.
Match 2: Giant Baba defeats Larry Zbyszko (w/ Bobby Heenan) by pinfall with the NECKBREAKER DROP. A pretty good match. Baba hits the NECKBREAKER DROP, and Heenan knows his man is in trouble. He jumps on the apron and starts taunting Baba. Baba walks toward Heenan. Zbyszko gathers his bearings and runs at Baba with his back turned. Baba sees Larry, and side steps him and Zbyszko rams into Heenan. Baba then hits the NECKBREAKER DROP again and picks up the win. ***
Match 3: "Ravishing" Rick Rude (w/ Bobby Heenan) defeats King Kong Bundy by pinfall with the RUDE AWAKENING. A pretty decent match. Rude took control of the match when the action spilled outside the ring. A struggle took place, but Rude managed to ram Bundy's head into a table. He rolled a groggy Bundy into the ring and delivers the finisher for the win. ***
Blassie: 1 and 1 for the Heenan Family! Glad Rude handled Bundy in this one, Heenan didnt look like he was in any condition to help.
Monsoon: Thats what the weasel gets for sticking his nose into Baba's business.
Match 4: Justin Credible defeats Ox Baker by pinfall with 2 THATS INCREDIBLE. Another match where a lot of the action was outside the ring. Justin managed to take control and hit Ox with the SINGAPORE CANE. Baker kicked out, and took control of the match briefly. 2 back-to-back THATS INCREDIBLES did Baker in for good. ***
Monsoon: The refs have been pretty tolerant tonight.......
Blassie: Yep, but thats a good thing!
Match 5: Frank Gotch (w/ Jim Cornette) defeats Hacksaw Jim Duggan by submission with the GRINDING HAMMERLOCK. Gotch gets the submission on the arm after working over the legs the whole match. Go figure..... **
Match 6: The Midnight Express (Eaton/Lane) w/ Jim Cornette defeat Konnan and Buff Bagwell by pinfall when Lane hits the SUPERKICK on Konnan. Match completely dominated by the Express. *
Cornette grabs the mic after the match.
Cornette: I have been informed by Commissioner Ventura that with this win that the Midnight Express is now the #1 contender to the BCW Tag Team Titles currently held by the Road Warriors! Details of our upcoming match will be given next week on NITRO.
(Cornette leaves the ring.)
Monsoon: Oh, what a bombshell!
Blassie: It's about time the Express gets another shot at the gold. Especially with the new talent coming in, the tag team division should be hotter than ever in BCW!
Match 7: Ivan Koloff defeats Sabu by DQ when Sabu gives Koloff the Arabian FACEBUSTER. Sabu turns around to celebrate, but Koloff wasn't completely done with this one. He grabs his chain and runs toward Sabu. When he gets about a step away from Sabu, the lights go black. All that can be seen in the ring is a large fireball go off in a short burst. The lights come back on, and Sabu is standing in the middle of the ring, with a stunned look on his face, while Koloff is rolling around on the ground in obvious pain. Volkoff comes to the ring to aide Koloff. Sabu goes around the other side of the ring and leaves the arena through the crowd. ***
Monsoon: What is Sabu thinking by doing such a thing to Koloff?
Blassie: Sabu looked as shocked as we all did in what happened. I am not so sure he is all to blame in this one!
Match 8: Ted Dibiase (w/ Virgil) defeats Cousin Luke with the MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER. Luke actually did pretty good in this one, hitting the HILLBILLY DROP, but it wasnt enough in this one. **
Match 9: Timber defeats Ray Stevens (w/ Bobby Heenan) by pinfall with 2 LOG SPLITTERS. A shocking upset in this one. Heenan was a non-factor, failing to distract or interfere in this one. Timber grabs his 2x4 and plays to the crowd after a huge win. He turns to leave the ring, and the Missing Link clobbers him with a steel chair. Heenan, Stevens, and Link hold their hands in the air after this display of violence unleashed on Timber. ***
Blassie: Well, nice "win" for Timber.
Monsoon: Timber did great defeating a really good wrestler in Stevens, but that darn Link got him when he wasnt looking. Link will pay for that!
MAIN EVENT:
BCW U.S. Championship Title Match
Nikolai Volkoff (c) defeats Diamond Dallas Page by pinfall with the DOUBLE THRUST. Breznikov, still injured, was not at ringside for this one. He will be back sometime next week. Page took control early, hitting 2 DIAMOND CUTTERS on Volkoff, but Volkoff kept kicking out. A big win for Volkoff. Who says he cant win without his manager's constant interference? ***
Blassie: Wow, what a match, what a NITRO! Can't wait til next week!
Monsoon: Lots of great action, some new talent coming in. Should be great things coming in the future. Cya next time!
(end of show)

Cards 25 and 26: House Shows reported on by Fred Blassie
The Sandman defeats Missing Link by DQ when Link hits Sandman with a steel chair. Lots of illegal activity in this one, but Link finally got caught. **
Ray "The Crippler" Stevens beats King Kong Bundy by pinfall with a flying body block. Heenan got involved in this one, distracting Bundy after he hit the AVALANCHE. Stevens recovered and eventually won the match. ***
Sabu and Hacksaw Jim Duggan battle to a double DQ. Not that great of a match. After the match, Duggan grabbed his 2x4 and clobbered Sabu with it! *
Timber beats Justin Credible by pinfall with the LOG SPLITTER. A really good match in this one. Lots of fighting outside of the ring, and Timber even got hit with the SINGAPORE CANE. But in the end, it wasnt enough. ***
BCW WORLD TITLE MATCH Buddy Rogers (c) defeats Bobo Brazil by submission with the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. A pretty good match, it looked like Brazil would win the belt on a couple of occasions. After the match, Brazil turns to leave the ring, and Rogers hits Brazil with the belt! He then holds the belt high in the air, while the crowd booes in disgust. ***
The New Age Outlaws defeat The Blond Bombers by pinfall when "Bad A$$" Billy Gunn hits the FAMEA$$ER on Larry Sharpe. It looked like the NAO were going to lose their debut after Sharpe hit the PILEDRIVER, but the Road Dogg kicked out and tagged Gunn. Gunn was on fire and quckly put Sharpe away. ***
Iron Mike Sharpe defeats Ivan Koloff by DQ when Koloff hits Sharpe in the head with his chain. The third time was the charm, as the ref finally caught Koloff using the chain the third time, and immediately disqualified him. **
The Crusher defeats Diamond Dallas Page by pinfall with the CRUSHER BOLO. A pretty easy win for the Crusher in this one, DDP never got on track. *
Frank Gotch (w/ Jim Cornette) defeats Konnan by pinfall when Gotch hits the GUILLOTINE DROP. An awesome match that saw a lot of blood come out of both men (Gotch and Konnan had 7 tokens each in the match). The fans give them a well deserved standing ovation in this one. ****
Jimmy Snuka defeats Ox Baker by countout when Snuka hits a FLYING HEADBUTT. A lot of fighting outside the ring in this one. Snuka goes up to the top rope and delivers a flying headbutt to Baker outside of the ring. Baker is knocked backwards and goes head first into the barricade. Baker is hurt badly, and cannot answer the 10 count. **
Killer Kowalski defeats George South by pinfall with THE CLAW. A nice easy win in Kowalski's return to the BCW. *
BCW XTREME CHAMPION Danny Doring defeats The Sandman by DQ when The Sandman shoves the referee. A non-title match that saw the former champion do battle with the current champ. Sandman was clearly frustrated not being able to put Doring away. **
Blassie: Some great matches in this one. The Gotch/Konnan match may be the match of the year in the BCW. We haven't seen the last of this feud. On deck is MONDAY NITRO! Here are a few of the matches that are signed for the event:
BCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: The Road Warriors (c) (w/ Paul Ellering) vs The Midnight Express (w/ Jim Cornette) (Eaton/Lane)
Timber vs The Missing Link (w/ Bobby Heenan)
BCW XTREME TITLE Match (No DQ) The Sandman vs Danny Doring (c)
The Armstrongs make their BCW debut when they take on Konnan and Buff Bagwell!
Plus 6 other matches! Cya on NITRO!

Card 27: Monday NITRO ON FX
Jesse Ventura heads to the ring with Adrian Adonis.
Ventura: Tonight, the BCW is proud to present our 3rd PPV, DESTRUCTION! This event will be taking place 2 weeks from tonight! The following matches have been signed for the event, plus the complete card will be announced on next week's NITRO! Here are the matches that have been signed so far:
Revenge is on the mind of the Heenan family as Buddy Rogers will defend the BCW World Championship against "Ravishing" Rick Rude!
Giant Baba will do battle with Heenan Family member Larry Zbyszko!
Nikolai Volkoff will defend his BCW U.S. Championship vs The Crusher!
Timber will be the #1 contender for the BCW XTREME CHAMPIONSHIP, and he will take on the winner of the Doring/Sandman match taking place tonight.
Monsoon: Wow, what a card so far! Some great contests signed, and more to come!
Blassie: It looks like Rogers will get his when the undefeated Rick Rude gets his hands on him! The big lumberjack gets a well deserved title match vs the XTREME CHAMPION. Doring better be prepared to deal with Timber, since he lost to him once before in the Hardcore Tournament!
Monsoon: You talk like Doring being the champ is a forgone conclusion! He may have to fight the 2-time XTREME champion the Sandman!
Blassie: I seriously doubt that one. Anyways, On that note, lets head to the ring!
Match 1: The Armstrongs defeat Konnan and Buff Bagwell by DQ when Buff Bagwell shoves the referee. A decent match, Bullet Bob couldnt put Buff away, and Bagwell got himself DQ'd.
Monsoon: Bob and Brad looked good in their debut. Too bad they coudlnt have won the match outright.
Blassie: They did win the match! A win is a win Monsoon!
Match 2: Million Dollar Championship Match Ted Dibiase defeats Sabu by submission with the MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER. Before the match begun, he challenged anyone from the back that wanted a shot at his prized belt, to come down to the ring. Sabu came down to ringside, and was in awe of all the diamonds in the Million Dollar Belt. Then Dibiase announced that Virgil was going to be the guest referee. The match involved Virgil attacking Sabu, and refusing to count pinfalls made on Dibiase. Virgil preceded to hit Sabu with the ringbell. Dibiase picked up Sabu, and applied the MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER and Virgil immediately called for the bell. After the match, they raised their hands up in the air holding the belt. The lights went out, and as happened last week a fireball was seen lighting up the ring. The lights came on, and Virgil was laying in the center of the ring. Dibiase was standing in the corner, not knowing what to think. Sabu was nowhere to be found. ***
Blassie: Oh, what a win for Dibiase! But what is going on with Sabu? This is 2 weeks in a row now!
Monsoon: Dibiase cheats the whole match and you have the nerve to complain about Sabu after the match!
Blassie: The Million Dollar Belt is not an official BCW belt. Dibiase can defend it how he wants. Sabu had no right to do what he did to Virgil!
Match 3: "Ravishing" Rick Rude defeats King Kong Bundy by pinfall with the RUDE AWAKENING. A dominating performance by Rude in this one. Rogers is going to have his hands full at DESTRUCTION. **
Blassie: Rude dominates again! A changing of the guard at DESTRUCION!
Monsoon: Buddy Rogers has been a great champion, and I predict he will remain that way. But I do admit that Rude has been impressive.
Match 4: The Missing Link (w/ Bobby Heenan) defeats Timber by DQ when Timber hits Link with a steel chair. Link delivers 2 chair shots in the match with no DQ, but when Timber does it once, bam! After the match, Timber went to get his barbed wire ax handle, but by the time he got a hold of it, Heenan and Link were long gone. ***
Monsoon: Timber loses! What a miscarriage of justice!
Blassie: He uses a steel chair and the ref catches him, sounds fair to me!
Match 5: King Harley Race defeats Ox Baker by pinfall with 3 PILEDRIVERS. A very good match, where Baker himself delivered 2 HEART PUNCHES. Race was determined to win this one. ****
Race: Baker, you have been a worthy opponent. You even helped put me on the shelf before the Last Man Standing Match vs Johnny Valentine. Unfortunately, I won't get to fight Valentine again, as he turned tail and ran to the AWA the first chance he got to get away from me. But you, to your credit, have stayed and fought me. I respect a man that stays and fights. I would like to offer you a spot in the King's Court! With my guidance, I could help take your career to new levels!
Baker: Race, you know as well as I do that my record in the BCW has not been the greatest. As a matter of fact, one of my only wins came against you! (crowd cheers) I respect you as a man, and as a wrestler, and I would be proud to join the King's Court! (Race and Ox shake hands, as the crowd boos.)
Race: The first piece of my puzzle has been completed! The King's Court will be dominating professional wrestling in no time flat! (Race and Baker leave the ring together)
Monsoon: What a strange alliance of 2 men! Baker doesnt strike me as royalty! One minute they fight to the death, and the next minute they are best friends!
Blassie: Baker is one tough SOB, and Race recognized that. Not anyone can do to Race what Baker did, and Baker almost did it to him again tonight! They will be a force to be reckoned with!
Match 6: The Crusher defeats Steve Corino by pinfall with the CRUSHER BOLO. A pretty good match that saw the Crusher land some big blows in to put Corino away. A nice win for Crusher before DESTRUCTION. ***
Monsoon: Crusher and Corino have really done battle. Anyone could have won this one.
Blassie: Crusher may have won this war, but he will not win the war vs Volkoff at DESTRUCTION!
Match 7: BCW Tag Team Championship Match The Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette (Eaton/Lane) defeat The Road Warriors (c) w/ Paul Ellering by DQ when the Road Warriors snap and dismantle Lane, and would not let up. The Warriors were in a big battle in this one, but could not control their tempers and gave Stan Lane the DOOMSDAY DEVICE a 2nd time after the bell. The referee called for the bell, and reversed the decision. ***
Cornette: That match was an outrage. Ellering, at DESTRUCTION, The Midnight Express challenge you to an ELIMINATION match for the Tag Team Titles. It will be the Midnight Express vs The Road Warriors and you Ellering, 3 on 3..... what do you say Ellering?
Ellering: Cornette, I've always wanted to get my hands on you, and if this is the only way it will happen, I accept! At DESTRUCTION, it will be Hawk, Animal, and Ellering vs Lane, Eaton and Cornette! (crowd cheers)
Cornette: Not so fast you big dope! I said the Midnight Express, and I am not a part of them! I am only their manager! Let me introduce the 3rd member of the Midnight Express, "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey!
(The Road Warriors are visably upset, as Cornette gloats over outsmarting the Warriors. As Cornette turns to leave the ring, Comm. Ventura's music hits and he heads to the ring with Adrian Adonis.)
Ventura: Wow, Cornette you really put one over on the Road Warriors! 3 regular wrestlers vs 2 and a manger. Genius! But it isn't going to be that simple. If the Road Warriors win the match, Paul Ellering will be able to name an opponent that you, Jim Cornette, must take on at NITRO the night after DESTRUCTION! Good luck to you all!. (Ventura leaves the ring with Adonis. Meanwhile, The Roadies seem happy at this turn of events, while Condrey, Eaton, and Lane try to calm Cornette down and ensure him that they will win the titles.)
Match 8: Killer Kowalski defeats Cousin Luke by submission with the CLAW HOLD. The opening bell rings, and Kowalski looks focused. He goes right after Luke and delivers some crushing blows on him. Luke taps out quickly to the CLAW HOLD. After the match, Kowalski picks Luke off of the mat. He says to Luke in the microphone that he is sorry that he had to apply the CLAW HOLD, and he hopes that it did no permanent damage. Cousin Luke looks at him in bewilderment. **
Blassie: An impressive win for Killer in this one. What was the deal with him apologizing to Luke for using his Claw hold on him?
Monsoon: A kinder, gentler Kowalski? Something doesn't seem right here.
Match 9: BCW XTREME CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH----STEEL CAGE The Sandman defeats Danny Doring (c) to become the 2 time XTREME CHAMPION! A back and forth blood match, that saw Doring take a lot of punishment (6 tokens). The Sandman looked focused as he delivered 2 shots with the SINGAPORE CANE. Doring managed to kick out, but The Sandman locked in the HARDCORE DDT to become the new champion! **
Blassie: Darn it all, the Sandman gets lucky..........
Monsoon: The Sandman got lucky??? He dominated the majority of this match, and won back his championship. But now where does this leave Doring? Tune in and find out next week on NITRO!

Cards 28 and 29: House shows, reported on by Fred Blassie
Million Dollar Championship Match: Sabu beats Ted Dibiase (c) w/ Virgil by DQ when Virgil interferes in the match, and hits Sabu with the Million Dollar Belt. Sabu had Dibiase on the ropes, and had the CAMEL CLUTCH applied in the middle of the ring, but Virgil came in and clobbered Sabu with the belt. **
Frank Gotch (w/ Jim Cornette) defeats Konnan by pinfall with the IOWA BACKDROP. A pretty good match, neither one could get their finishers applied. Gotch eventually won the match, with no help from Cornette. ***
Bobo Brazil defeats the Iron Sheik by pinfall with the COCO BUTT. A back and forth match, each man took 5 tokens in this one. Iron Sheik kicked out from 3 COCO BUTTS before the 4th one got him. Brazil managed to survive 3 loaded boots and a CAMEL CLUTCH himself to win this one. ****
The Armstrongs beat the New Age Outlaws by DQ when Road Dogg smashes Bullet Bob into the ringpost. An OK match that saw this one end up in a giant brawl outside the ring. The ref warns the Dogg not to do it, but he does it anyways and is DQ'd. ***
Ox Baker (w/ Harley Race) defeats "Iron" Mike Sharpe by pinfall with a DEATHJUMP move off of the top rope. Baker dominates this one. *
Timber defeats Killer Kowalski by DQ when Kowalski hits Timber with a steel chair. Before the bell, Kowalski had a look on his face similar to the one that was on NITRO. He reaches out to shake the hand of Timber before the match. As he pulled it back, he punches Timber in the face, and the match starts. After the bell, Kowalski applies the KOWALSKI CLAW and would not release the hold. A bloodied Timber was carried from the ring. **
Dennis Condrey (w/ Jim Cornette) defeats Cousin Luke by pinfall with the FACE FIRST LEG SWEEP. A pretty good match, seeing Luke deliver the HILLBILLY DROP on 2 occasions. Stan Lane and Bobby Eaton came out from the back, and started pounding on Luke. For some reason, the ref choses not to DQ the Express. Then Condrey hits his finisher and it is all over. After the match, Cornette grabs the mic and brags about how he will be managing the new tag champs after DESTRUCTION. ***
Jimmy Snuka defeats Giant Baba by pinfall with 2 SUPERFLY LEAPS. Baba couldnt get on track in this one. Snuka attempts the first one and misses, but Baba couldnt put him away. Soon after that, Snuka hits a pair of SUPERFLY LEAPS and gets the win. **
King Harley Race (w/ Ox Baker) defeats The Missing Link (w/ Bobby Heenan) by pinfall with the PILEDRIVER. After the bell, Baker delivers the HEART PUNCH on Link. Link manages to leave the ring on his own power, but he is not happy. **
Some good matches in this one. Condrey signaling for the other Midnight Express members to interfere in a match he was clearly in control of was an odd but effective move. The unstable Kowalski seemed back to his normal mean self in his match vs Timber. The combo of Race and Baker in the King's Court looked impressive in their matches. Snuka winning vs Baba has to be considered an upset. This next NITRO should be an interesting one, the last card before the PPV, DESTRUCTION! Cya there!

Card 30: MONDAY NITRO ON FX
Monsoon: Welcome to Monday NITRO! We have a great show lined up to you about a week before the PPV! In the main event, The Midnight Express take on The Blond Bombers and Cousin Luke in a Tag Team Elimination match up, a warm up for their championship match at DESTRUCTION!
Blassie: Plus we also have Bobo Brazil taking on Larry Zbyszko! And Rick Rude puts his undefeated streak on the line vs Justin Credible! Ivan Koloff and the Iron Sheik will take on Sabu and a mystery parnter! What will happen in this one, will The Iron Sheik be loyal to Koloff, a wrestler also managed by Breznikov, or will he be loyal to his friend, Sabu? Lets head to the ring!
Match 1: The New Age Outlaws defeat the Armstrong by pinfall when Billy Gunn hits the FAMEA$$er on Bullet Bob. A dominating win for the NAO. **
Blassie: The Outlaws look good so far! They dominated the Armstrongs!
Monsoon: Maybe the old man is taking it easy on his son the Road Dogg, who knows........
Match 2: Rick Rude and Justin Credible battle to a DOUBLE DQ. Credible hits a bunch of moves, and then nails Rude with the SINGAPORE CANE. Ray Stevens comes from the back and tries to hit Credible with a steel chair, but misses. Credible then grabs the Singapore cane and clobbers Stevens with it! Then he turns around and hits Rude with it again, and the referee disqualifies both men. **
Monsoon: What a wild match! What was Stevens doing in this one?
Blassie: What was Stevens doing? Credible was cheating and the ref didnt do anything about it. Stevens decided to handle things on his own.
Match 3: Ox Baker defeats Missing Link by pinfall with 3 HEART PUNCHES. It took awhile, but Baker finally got his man. ***
Blassie: Baker has been winning up a storm since joining the King's Court!
Monsoon: Yep, they are a force to be reckonned with in BCW! Wait we have just gotten word, Ray Stevens will meet Justin Credible in a match at DESTRUCTION!
Blassie: Ray Stevens will prove who the better man is, plain and simple.
Match 4: Steve Corino beat Danny Doring with the OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION. Doring put up a good fight, hitting several moves, and causing Corino to bleed (5 tokens). But could not put Corino away, and Corino rallied for the win. Doring was visably upset after the match. ***
Blassie: A former XTREME champion loses his 2nd match in a row, this time to Corino. He looks unhappy.
Monsoon: I am sure he is just pressing, trying to prove that his XTREME title win was no fluke.
Match 5: Killer Kowalski defeats Hacksaw Jim Duggan by submission with the KOWALSKI CLAW. Kowalski reaches to shake Duggan's hand at the start of the match, Duggan sticks his hand out and Killer coldcocks him one. Then the match turns into a brawl, with Kowalski ending up on top. ***
Monsoon: Kowalski cannot be trusted. He is a mean and evil man.
Blassie: I was starting to worry that Killer Kowalski was going soft, I am glad that is not the case.
Match 6: DDP beats Virgil by DQ when Ted Dibiase interferes in the match. A match dominated by DDP, but Dibiase sees enough, and clocks DDP with the Million Dollar Belt. He then barks at DDP, saying that this will be the only way that DDP will ever touch the belt. Dibiase then announces that he will be defending his belt vs DDP at DESTRUCTION! **
Blassie: Oh, what a bombshell! DDP gets a shot at a million dollars!
Monsoon: That isnt even a BCW sanctioned belt! Dibiase cannot be trusted!
Match 7: Bobo Brazil defeats Larry Zbyszko by pinfall with the COCO BUTT. A really good match that saw both men bleed, and both men took near falls. A risky match for Larry to take right before DESTRUCTION. ***
Match 8: Ivan Koloff and The Iron Sheik w/ Nikita Breznikov defeats Sabu by submission when Ivan Koloff makes Sabu submit with the RUSSIAN BEAR HUG. This was pretty much a singles contest. Sabu could not find a partner to help, and The Iron Sheik had mixed emotions about fighting his friend Sabu. Koloff was merciless in this one, nailing Sabu with the chain on 2 occasions. The Iron Sheik was conveiniently talking to Nikita whenever a tag needed to be made. Koloff dominated this match. After the match, Koloff wrapped the chain around Sabu's neck and went to hang him over the ropes. The lights go out again, and when they come back on Sabu is gone. A sign is left in the ring, that says "Your time will come at DESTRUCTION". Koloff, The Iron Sheik, and Breznikov look stunned at what happened. ***
Monsoon: What is the deal with the power failures all the time in Sabu's matches? And why didn't the party responsible come and team with him tonight?
Blassie: Mind games, thats all it is. The time will come, cant you read the sign?
Match 9: Tag Team Elmination Match
The Midinight Express defeats Cousin Luke and The Blond Bombers. An easy win for the Express. The 3 opponents were pretty easily disposed of in this one. * Dennis Condrey pins Cousin Luke Bobby Eaton pins Larry Sharpe Stan Lane pins Buddy Rose
Blassie: Wow, the Express looks sharp in this one! A new era in tag team wrestling begins at DESTRUCTION!
Monsoon: Well their opponents were hardly the Road Warriors! I am sure the Warriors will take care of them at the PPV. Thats all the time we have, make sure and tune in to the PPV DESTRUCTION this Sunday night. Hope to cya there!

Card 31: PPV DESTRUCTION
Monsoon: Welcome to the BCW PPV DESTRUCTION! I am your host, Gorilla Monsoon, and this is my partner Freddie Blassie!
Blassie: Hello BCW fans, we have a treat for you tonight. Lots of great matches, and lots of great action! Lets head to the ring!
BCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH-ELIMINATON MATCH The Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette (Condrey/Eaton/Lane) defeat The Road Warriors (c) and Paul Ellering when Dennis Condrey hits the FACE FIRST LEG SWEEP on Ellering to complete the match. A match that was shaping up to be very good, but the referee ruined it, disqualifying both Hawk and Animal in the first 2 falls of the match. Lots of power moves and fighting outside the ring, involving chairs, ringbells, and ringposts. Both of the Road Warriors reluctantly left the ring, and watched from the back as their manager took one heck of a beating. Cornette raised the belt after the last fall, but the referee took them back, announcing to them and the crowd that the belts do not change hands due to the first 2 falls of the match resulting in a disqualification. The Express won the match, thus allowing Cornette to avoid his NITRO beating.
Monsoon: The Road Warriors had all they could handle with the Express in this one!
Blassie: The Express should be the champions!
Killer Kowalski vs Hacksaw Jim Dugggan Hacksaw Jim Duggan wins the match with 3 FLYING SPEARS. A shocking upset that saw the Killer get pretty much dominated throughout the match.
Ox Baker vs The Missing Link Ox Baker picks up the win with the HEART PUNCH. Harley Race came out at the beginning of the match and ran off Heenan to the dressing room. A dominating performance by Baker in this one.
Blassie: He looks like a new man since joining The King's Court!
Monsoon: I hate to admit you are right, but I think you are on this one.
MILLION DOLLAR CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Ted Dibiase (c) defeats Diamond Dallas Page by submission when Dibiase appplies the MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER. A pretty good match that Dibiase won cleanly, even with Virgil at ringside.
Giant Baba vs Larry Zbyszko w/ Bobby Heenan Giant Baba picks up the win by pinfall after a NECKBREAKER DROP. A pretty good match that saw Bobby Heenan's interference backfire, and Baba kicking out of 2 PILEDRIVERS. Larry will definitely be looking for a rematch down the road.
Monsoon: Man, that Baba is tough!
Blassie: Tough and lucky, what a combo!
Ray Stevens vs Justin Credible Ray Stevens wins by pinfall with 3 BOMBS AWAYS. A very good match that saw Credible smack Stevens with the SINGAPORE CANE, but it just wasnt enough.
Monsoon: A nice win vs one of the best hardcore guys around, Justin Credible!
Blassie: Brains beat brawn once again!
BCW XTREME TITLE MATCH-------NO DQ Timber defeats The Sandman (c) by pinfall with 3 LOG SPLITTERS to become the new XTREME CHAMPION! A back and forth match that saw Timber block a lot of The Sandman's moves with his power advantage. Steve Corino came down to the ring and interfered on the Sandman's behalf, but it wasnt enough as a new champion was crowned!
Monsoon: New champion! What a match!
Blassie: The Sandman is down for the count! Now he can focus on his drinking!
Bobo Brazil vs Jimmy Snuka Brazil defeats Snuka by DQ when Snuka shoves the referee. A wild match that saw a lot of it happen outside the ring. Brazil hit 3 COCO BUTTS in the match, but Snuka managed to kick out. Snuka finally took the advantage outside the ring, and got a little carried away.
BCW U.S. TITLE MATCH Nikolai Volkoff (c) with Nikita Breznikov defeats The Crusher by pinfall when he hits the BACKBREAKER DROP. The Crusher took control early, and it looked like a new champion would be crowned. A CRUSHER BOLO was delivered, and he went for the cover. Breznikov jumped up on the apron and taunted Crusher. Crusher ran toward him and took a swing, knocking him off the apron. Volkoff went behind the Crusher and clubbed him one, taking control of the match. He evntually hit his finisher and picked up the victory.
Blassie: Volkoff wins!! Volkoff wins!!
Monsoon: The Crusher is robbed by outside interference! What a miscarriage of justice!!
Sabu vs Ivan Koloff-------STEEL CAGE GRUDGE MATCH Sabu defeats Ivan Koloff by pinfall with the ARABIAN FACEBUSTER on a steel chair. Koloff was winning the match early, using his chain he snuck into the ring on 2 occasions. Koloff locks in the RUSSIAN BEAR HUG, then the lights go off. A man appears in the ring, its The Sheik!! The Sheik and Sabu hammer on Koloff inside the cage. Ventura announces that this match will not happen this way. It will now be a tag team match! Breznikov appears and signals to the back. Out comes the Iron Sheik, and he heads into the cage. The bell sounds and the match restarts. Sabu and Koloff start fighting again, and the Iron Sheik loads up his boot. He pretends to go to hit the Sheik with it, but instead he hits Koloff!! Then it is a 3 on 1 assault on Koloff inside the cage. Nikolai Volkoff heads down to the cage and is clobbered by a man that came out of the crowd. Its the Terrible Turk!!! Turk grabs a steel chair and clobbers Volkoff with it. Then he takes the same chair and throws it into the steel cage. Sabu delivers the ARABIAN FACEBUSTER on the chair to Koloff, and the referee reluctantly counts to 3. Abdullah Farouk heads to the ring, and announces his new supergroup as the "Mid-East Mafia" and he is declaring war on both the U.S.S.R. and the U.S.
Blassie: What a turn of events! The Mid-East Mafia has come to take over the BCW!
Monsoon: That no-good Iron Sheik turning on his 2 stablemates like that! All 5 of those men will have hell to pay!
BCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH "Ravishing" Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan defeats "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers (c) to become the NEW BCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! A great match, that saw both men take a beating in this one (Rogers 6 tokens, Rude 4 tokens). Started out a back and forth match with Rogers finally taking control. Rogers throws Rude into the turnbuckle, but Rude reverses it and throws Rogers into the referee, knocking him unconscious. Both men continue to battle, when Larry Zbyszko runs into the ring and starts hammering on Rogers. Rude delivers the RUDE AWAKENING, and Zbyszko sneaks out of the ring. Rude goes for the cover. The new referee runs in, and counts to 2 3/4. Rude continues to pound on Rogers, but cannot put him away. Rogers delivers a cross body block from the apron and goes for the cover. Heenan jumps on the apron and distracts Rogers. Rogers takes a swing at Heenan, but misses. Giant Baba has seen enough, and comes down to the ring area, and chases Heenan back to the locker room. Rogers and Rude go back and forth, but Rogers was unable to lock in the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. Eventually, Rude takes over and hits a 2nd RUDE AWAKENING. Rogers kicks out again, and it looks like he is going to rally back. Instead, Rude hits a 3rd RUDE AWAKENING, and this time he gets the 3 count, and a new champion is crowned!!!
Blassie: What a win for The Ravishing One and the Heenan Family!!! Rick Rude has done what no other man could get done, and beat Rogers for the belt!
Monsoon: Rude better not get too attached to that belt. What is going to happen on NITRO?? Tune in next time and find out!
