That ROH card blew me away Cure. Awesome read from start to finish. The HOT continue to look impressive and the ending of SCUM was well done. The opening contest showcased the new talent in the tag division and getting the belts off SCUM could not have come at a better time. You now how a team on top that can be used as a heel or face depending on how the challengers line up. Cannot wait to see Red Dragon challenge for the straps. Daniels v. Hero should be fun.
I am totally marking out for the Kings Road Invasion. Should be a great card.

I do like both teams, but seeing HBX win is always a cool thing and seeing Dutch Savage win and his interview was good stuff. Another fun outcome is Doring & Roadkill winning their match...

Thanks for the comments Daytondave, Bookerbill, and Crimson. I'm glad you enjoyed the recent action. Next up is a card from Pacific Coast Wrestling...
LOW Pacific Coast Wrestling - Seattle Center Arena - Seattle, WA (Card #842)
1) Koko B. Ware defeated Dewey Robertson by DQ: The Seattle Center Coliseum was rocking for this opener as the popular “Birdman” Koko B. Ware of ASW took on Dewey Robertson now of Sharpe Sports Agency, Inc. Robertson and manager “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe antagonized the ring announcer during the introductions prompting Ware to intervene and he nailed a stunned Robertson with the flying headbutt. Ware exploded on offense from there scoring a near fall with the Ghostbuster and then hitting it a second time only to have Sharpe distract the referee. Robertson got into it after picking Ware off of the top rope with a bodyslam. He would subsequently score near falls with the running splash and flying crossbody. Sharpe watched nervously at ringside as Ware staged a big comeback and nearly pinned Robertson with a third Ghostbuster but he got his foot over the bottom rope. The wild bout ended up on the outside where Robertson was disqualified for a brutal assault including several chair shots to the back of Ware.
2) Brian Kendrick & Lash Leroux defeated Texas Hangmen by DQ: A second straight technical decision came in a wild match between the popular Brian Kendrick & Lash Leroux and the Texas Hangmen (Killer & Psycho). Kendrick nearly won it early scoring a near fall after hitting Sliced Bread #2 on Killer. The Texas Hangman dominated the middle portion of the match getting the heat on Leroux for an extended stretch. They punished Leroux and scored near falls with the Hangman’s Noose and Hangmen Backbreaker. Kendrick made a timely save on the latter move and Leroux bounced back picking up near falls with the Bourbon Street Blues and a counter sunset flip. The Hangmen made an illegal switch late in the bout but Kendrick wasn’t fooled and he hit Sliced Bread #2 on Psycho for what looked to be a sure pin but Killer interfered. He wrapped the hangman’s noose around the neck of Kendrick and dragged him off resulting in the disqualification decision. Leroux saved Kendrick from further damage as the Hangmen bid a hasty retreat.
3) Larry Hennig defeated Tom Prichard: The feared Larry “The Axe” Hennig, the father of former LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion Curt Hennig, took on Dr. Tom Prichard in a good bout. Hennig was in control early including using the bearhug for a submission chance. He pounded away on Prichard until the bout went to the floor. Prichard whipped Hennig into the guard rail and back inside came off of the top rope with a flying bodypress for a two count. He kept up his attack hitting the slingshot suplex and then stunned Hennig with an enzuigiri for a big near fall. Hennig looked to be in trouble until he avoided a corner charge by Prichard and executed a counter Roll-Up to score the pin.
4) Tommy & Doug Gilbert defeated Dupae Rupa & Mr. X: The father-and-son team of Tommy & Doug Gilbert teamed up for the first time in LOW taking on the ASW tandem of the “Belgian Brawler” Dupae Rupa & Mr. X. It was on a recent edition of ASW that Tommy Gilbert made his surprise debut going after SSA, Inc. members Larry Sharpe, Playboy Buddy Rose and Dewey Robertson with a baseball bat for their prior assault on Doug in PCW. Tommy was fired up for this one and scored an early near fall on Rupa with a bodyslam. Rupa battled back and held his own against both Tommy and Doug until making the tag. The still winless Mr. X came up on the short end again as Doug nailed him with a DDT to set up Tommy executing the Back Suplex to score the pin. The crowd cheered the win by the Gilbert’s who no doubt will be after a match with the members of SSA, Inc.
5) P.N. News & Love Brothers defeated Konnan, Red Bastien, & Billy Red Lyons: The popular trio of the “Rapmaster” P.N. News and the Love Brothers (Reginald & Hartford Love) did what few have been able to do and that is hand a decisive defeat to the members of Sharpe Sports Agency, Inc. In this case it was Konnan pairing up with the Flying Redheads (Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) as manager-wrestler “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe looked on from ringside. Sharpe did not like what he saw as News and the Love Brothers dominated this one most of the way. The key to victory came when Reginald hit the atomic drop on Bastien for a two count. Hartford tagged in and tortured Bastien with a Boston Crab which set up News delivering a big bell-t-belly suplex for a near fall. Sharpe was beside himself and as the Love Brothers took out Konnan and Lyons it was News delivering a 403-1/2 pound sidewalk slam on Bastien to score the pin. The crowd erupted in cheers as News and the Love Brothers scored a big win over SSA, Inc. in Seattle.
6) LOW Tex-Arkana Television title: Don Leo Jonathan vs. Timber© was a Draw: The “Mormon Giant” Don Leo Jonathan looked to win championship gold for the first time in LOW as he took on Timber, “The Insane Lumberjack”, for the LOW Tex- Arkana Television title. Timber was met with resounding jeers as he entered the arena likely due to him beating area favorite Curt Hennig to win the title. It was almost over early as Jonathan scored successive near falls with an atomic drop and rolling back splash. Jonathan dominated most of the early action until Timber came back with a vertical suplex for a two count. The action spilled out to the floor where both men traded blows. Timber then hit his finisher, the Log Splitter, but Jonathan kicked out at two. The crowd cheered on the “Mormon Giant” as he pounded away on Timber, who was busted open, and then he hit his finisher, the Mormon Swing, but was late in covering and the champion kicked out just before the three count. That was a disappointing moment for Jonathan and a bloody Timber managed to hang on with this match ending in a time limit draw. It was a successful version two defense of the title for Timber and an impressive one at that.
7) Pepper Gomez defeated Playboy Buddy Rose: A highly anticipated semi-final bout saw popular Mexican star Pepper Gomez take on Playboy Buddy Rose, the centerpiece of Sharpe Sports Agency, Inc. “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe was at ringside and early on he saw his man take a beating as Gomez locked on a sleeper hold and then bash Rose with a wind-up punch to the stomach. Rose bailed out of the ring and took over after running Gomez into the timekeeper’s table. He then used a rope from his tights to choke out Gomez, a foreign object attack, which resulted in successive near falls for the Playboy. Things were looking good for Rose until Gomez blasted him with the criss cross smash and then scored the pin with the Mexican Cradle. The crowd erupted in cheers and then taunted both Rose and Sharpe as they tried to argue the decision with the referee. The two were distracted and didn’t see Tommy & Doug Gilbert rushing into the ring to attack them. The Gilbert’s cleaned house and quickly drove both Rose and Sharpe out to the floor as the crowd cheered them on. An irate Rose then grabbed the mic and said he was sick of all of the sneak attacks and challenged the Gilbert’s to face Rose and the man who turned on Doug, Dewey Robertson, to a tag team match on the next PCW card in Denver, CO (Card #847). The challenge was readily accepted and so the grudge tag team match will be part of a big night of action in the mile high city.
8) Jimmy Snuka & Roddy Piper defeated The Grappler & Ray Stevens: A wild main event saw a unique pairing of legendary rivals Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka & “Rowdy” Roddy Piper as they took on the formidable combination of The Grappler & Ray “The Crippler” Stevens. Snuka recently made his debut in PCW (Card #826 in Phoenix, AZ) and helped Piper fend off a post-match assault by Stevens and The Grappler following an eight-man tag team. It was an uneasy situation but ultimately Snuka and Piper decided to team up and go after Stevens and The Grappler in this special challenge match. It was all The Grappler and Stevens in the early going as they took turns battering Snuka both in and out of the ring. Stevens managed to hit the Bombs Away but Snuka kicked out at two. Snuka finally began battling back and made the tag after leveling Stevens with a piledriver. Piper wasted no time in fighting fire with fire as he hit Stevens with a Foreign Object, looking to be a piece of taped steel, to score a two count. Piper has lost to The Grappler a few times via the controversial Loaded Boot so there was some justification to it. Piper also took the fight to The Grappler and tagged Snuka back in. The great star from Fiji took The Grappler down and went for the Superfly but somehow the masked man was able to roll out of the way. Later in the bout it was Stevens making timely saves when The Grappler was pinned following a bulldog by Piper and a flying headbutt by Snuka. The finish of a great battle saw Piper catch an equally fatigued Grappler with a Back Suplex to score the pin. The crowd cheered the victory by the two popular stars who shook hands putting aside their bitter past rivalry at least for the present time.

You know the News Love trio is so cool and it's great to see them with the victory, plus Robertson snapping on Ware with the chair was wild stuff. I really wanted Buddy Rose, The Grappler & Ray Stevens win their respective bouts, but in the end another cool show in the Pacific Northwest...

Thanks for the comments Crimson and Bookerbill. Timber has been a big surprise as champion thus far as I thought DLJ might beat him there. Another show coming soon with a surprise debut in the GWA. Hope to have that rolled out in the next few days. Thanks for following along.

Had a chance to finish this tonight so here it is. Some history is made along with a surprise debut...
LOW Global Wrestling Association - Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Card #843)
1) Johnny Saint defeated Boris Zhukov: The popular Johnny Saint out of Fallsworth, Greater Manchester, England, a former LOW Junior Heavyweight champion, took on the rugged Russian Boris Zhukov in the opening match. Zhukov recently signed a contract with the GWA after competing as a free agent which included a few successful tours for Kings Road United in Japan. There were some great exchanges in this one including Zhukov countering the stepover arm wringer throw into a full nelson. Zhukov hit the Soviet Slam late in the bout but Saint went into the turtle position. A frustrated Zhukov went for an attack but Saint caught him with the Johnny Saint Special for a big near fall. Moments later it was Saint taking Zhukov down with the Cutblock and Folding Press to score the pin.
2) Super Crazy & Halcon Oro defeated Naptown Dragons by Count Out: Outstanding tag team action saw the lucha libre team of Super Crazy & Halcon Oro battle the Naptown Dragons (“Die Hard” Dustin Lee & Scotty Vortekz) of ASW. It was a fast and furious battle from the opening bell with spectacular moves and big near falls. The Dragons took over on Oro for an extended stretch and hit both the Dragon’s Breath, a Cyclone Kick into a Dragon Suplex, and Kiss of the Dragon, a Mafia Kick and neckbreaker combo, for near falls with Crazy making the save. Crazy went on a nice offensive and caught Lee with the Triple Moonsault but Vortekz made the save. Oro set up a near fall hitting a plancha suicida on Vortekz with Crazy then hitting a leaping DDT for a two count. The crowd was going crazy by the end and the finish saw Crazy nail Vortekz with a spectacular springboard quebrada which led to Vortekz being counted out of the ring. It was a big win for Crazy and Oro overcoming a very tough tag team in the Naptown Dragons.
3) The Mountie defeated 2 Cold Scorpio: The Toronto crowd was clearly behind 2 Cold Scorpio as he took on The Mountie, a Montreal native who does a disservice to the good name of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Scorpio looked sharp early which pleased the crowd as he caught The Mountie with the moonsault and the Tumbleweed. The Mountie struck back and caught Scorpio with a vicious piledriver for a near fall. He also countered a bodyslam attempt by Scorpio and caught him square on the draw with a dropkick. Scorpio was stunned and The Mountie followed with an elbow to the head off the top rope (deathjump) and then hit the Short Choke Slam to score the pin. The crowd jeered the victory by The Mountie who celebrated by singing his familiar theme song and intimidating ringsiders with his controversial Shock Stick.
4) Finlay & David Taylor defeated Giant Bernard & Dan Spivey by DQ: Most fans expected this one to be a fight and that is what it was as the “Belfast Bruiser” Finlay & David Taylor took on Giant Bernard & “Dangerous” Dan Spivey. The action began out on the floor as Bernard and Spivey went for a sneak attack but Finlay and Taylor turned the tables. Early action saw Finlay trap Bernard in the Celtic Knot and execute the sitdown splash. They went back outside with Bernard gaining control and then hitting the Baldo Bomb on Finlay for a two count. Spivey tagged in and did a number on Finlay scoring another near fall with a sidewalk slam. It went back outside again and Spivey got his team disqualified when he speared Finlay head first into the ring post. The action continued post-match with Bernard and Spivey isolating Finlay and hitting a double power bomb. Taylor was also assaulted as they tossed him over the top rope onto a ringside table. The two giants were satisfied with the destruction left in their wake but Finlay recovered and called for them to meet in a rematch on the next GWA card. Bernard shook his head indicating yes and so there will be a rematch in Berlin, Germany (Card #856).
5) Apter’s Corner with Steve Williams & Terry Gordy: PWI Editor Bill Apter made the trip to Toronto for a special live edition of Apter’s Corner featuring Steve “Dr. Death” Williams & Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy. He ran down their impressive list of accomplishments including their time as members of the strongest faction in LOW history, the Axis of Violence. Williams thanked Apter for the history lesson and said that the Miracle Violence Connection, as he and Gordy are called, have yet to accomplish one thing and that is to win the LOW World tag team titles. Apter noted that Williams had twice won the belts with Ted Dibiase, now known as the “Million $ Man”, and Williams said he was proud of that but him and Gordy want to hold the gold and in order to do that they have to go in a new direction. Gordy interrupted him and reminded Doc that they had a major announcement to make. Williams said the time had come and that he and Gordy were leaving the GWA and had accepted contracts to join Kings Road United in Japan. Apter congratulated them on their new deal with KRU when suddenly the familiar entrance music of the New Age Outlaws (B.G. James & Kip James) played over the public address system. The crowd cheered the arrival of the popular team who offered their congratulations to Doc and Gordy on their deal with KRU but said that they still have one match left in the GWA coming up in Berlin, Germany (Card #856). Williams said that was true and B.G. shot back that they, the New Age Outlaws, wanted that match. Gordy moved in and said that whoever they face in Berlin was going to bear the brunt of their aggression as they want to leave a mark in their final match for the GWA. Williams said that the challenge was accepted and that the NAO were going to face a bitter defeat in Berlin. The NAO took exception to that and stood toe-to-toe with Doc and Gordy before Apter bravely got in between them. LOW officials also headed in to make sure that it wouldn’t get physical but things cooled down and the four men shook hands agreeing to meet in the final match for the Miracle Violence Connection in the GWA.
6) LOW Junior Heavyweight title: Danny Hodge defeated Bryan Danielson to win the title: This highly anticipated match for the LOW Junior Heavyweight title between defending champion “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson and challenger Danny Hodge, a former three-time champion, was nearly ruined by the unscheduled appearance of Paul London. As Danielson and Hodge shook hands to begin the match an irate London rushed the ring only to be grabbed by LOW officials. London yelled that Danielson was a “coward” who stole the title from him and refused to give him the rematch he is entitled to. Danielson mouthed back that he failed to sign the contracts sent to him and Hodge took advantage of his mistake and signed for the title match instead. London was furious as the officials dragged him off but the crowd was happy as the match they paid to see got underway. This was a wrestling clinic as both men traded holds and counters from the start. Hodge gained the upper hand and was able to execute the Oklahoma Side Roll but Danielson kicked out at two. Hodge kept control and used both the Boston Crab and Indian Deathlock for submission chances. Danielson bounced back with a spectacular suicide dive and tossed Hodge back in cradling him for a two count. He also scored a big near fall with a barrage of roundhouse kicks. Hodge managed to avoid a flying elbowdrop (ch) and caught Danielson in a Sleeper Hold which he cinched on to score a submission victory winning the title for a fourth time. It was a bitter defeat for Danielson, particularly due to the pre-match incident with London, but he showed great class by congratulating Hodge and handing him the title belt to cheers from the crowd.
7) Lumberjack Match: Exotic Adrian Street defeated The French Angel: A big grudge match saw The French Angel do battle with Exotic Adrian Street, with valet Miss Linda, in a Lumberjack Match. A number of fellow GWA stars were on the outside including Johnny Saint, 2 Cold Scorpio, Giant Bernard, and The Mountie. The Angel had words with the referee about the presence of Miss Linda, who has had a big affect on the prior matches between him and Street, when suddenly an unknown man wearing a hooded sweatshirt marched down the ramp. He snuck up from behind and picked up Linda carrying her off to the back. Street tried to give chase but was quickly tossed back in by the lumberjacks. The early action saw involvement by the lumberjacks as both the Angel and Street either left or were tossed out of the ring. Street scored a controversial near fall when the referee tried to get involved on the outside and Bernard snuck in hitting the Angel with a chair shot to the head. The Angel recovered and scored a near fall after Super Crazy performed a moonsault off the second rope to the floor on Street. Later in the bout it was Street going for pin with the London Bridge leglock when the hooded man returned and broke it up. He then took the hood off and revealed himself as Jon Moxley! That set off a wild melee with Street on the receiving end of an assault by The Angel. It looked to be over for Street after a fearsome headbutt but The Mountie interfered using his Shock Stick and that put the Angel out of commission. Moments later it was Street crawling over on top of the Angel to score the pin. The crowd jeered the decision as The Mountie helped Street bid a hasty retreat to the locker room with Moxley, Saint, and others in hot pursuit. PWI Editor Bill Apter caught up with Moxley in the back and the edgy and controversial star said he has signed with the GWA and he will leave his mark before all is said and done. Street, meanwhile, refused to speak with Apter and quickly left the building with a frazzled Miss Linda.
8) LOW World tag team titles: Sabu & Rob Van Dam© defeated Fabulous Kangaroos by Count Out to retain the titles: The main event saw Sabu & Rob Van Dam, accompanied by manager Bill Alfonso, defend the LOW World tag team titles against the Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) who were accompanied by their manager Wild Red Berry. There is some history between these two teams as it was the Kangaroos that ended the first world tag team title reign of Sabu & RVD beating them for the belts in San Juan, Puerto Rico (Card #564). Both teams are also two-time holders of the world tag team titles. The early action was intense with Sabu hitting Air Sabu on Costello and then scoring a two count with a slingshot legdrop. RVD was equally as effective and hit the controversial Van Daminator, a chair assisted attack, on Costello for a big near fall with Heffernan making the save. The action picked up from there with both teams going all out to achieve a victory. Their respective managers, Alfonso and Berry, also went at it with Alfonso blowing his whistle in the face of Berry who responded by threatening to hit him with the boomerang. The bout ended in some controversy as out on the floor it was RVD hitting Costello with a spectacular dive off of the top rope and over the ring barrier into the first row of fans. The two then traded blows with both Sabu and Heffernan getting involved. Sabu hit a springboard off of the guard rail to take down Heffernan and then RVD fell over the barrier and rolled back inside. The referee was issuing his ten count and as Costello attempted to get back in he had his leg grabbed by Sabu and that allowed the champions to retain their titles via count out. It was a successful version three defense of the belts for Sabu and RVD who no doubt survived a tough challenge from the Fabulous Kangaroos.

Jon Moxley appearing was a very cool moment and it'll be fun to see how he does in the GWA, plus its always good to see RVD&Sabu retain. I wanted Zhukov to win, but Johnny Saint winning is a good thing. I've said it before, but I like Super Crazy and Halcon Oro as a team...
