Two really entertaining cards here crue!!!! THe NWC card was exciting mainly due to the incredible Main Event. Man How I wish these two would ahve been able to go at it IRL!!! I think yu realy captured the essence of this feud by aligning Brody and Shiek against Macho Man. I also liked the Patriot-Steele match. That is a unique pairing to say the least. THe Sheepherdersss are one of my all-time favorite teams. I think the win over Bobo and Atlas does indeed increase thir chances of getting a shot at the Roadies adn the LOW tag belts. In SWA , I thought the six-man was great even though I am not a big Bob Armstrong fan. THe Maganum TA/ Tommy Rich team is exciting and Muraco has definitely stepped in it knee-deep. Don't know much about the Heartbreak Express but any time yu defeat the Midnights, four time LOW Tag Champs, You have accomplished something!!!!

The fans must have been on fire in Sunshine State after the monster upset with the Heartbreak Xpress stunning the Midnights. So much for ducking the Warriors. Cornette will have to get their win back before the getting their next shot. Magnum and the Magnificent One in the Omni should be great. The Junior Title belt looked amazing with Graham doing the job the area made famous by his father. Great placement on the card and looked like a blast to play out. Six man tag team war was a solid main event. Any bout involving these six competitors is sure to have some extreme intensity.

Nice to see a win for The Bullet and tough luck to Mike Graham for coming up short against the wonderful Saint.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I am sorry to say that this might be my last show post for a while. I have an older computer and the internet has been very slow of late. I can post from work once in a while but not sure if I can post the show reports. It took me over a half hour just to sign in to the site just now and an additional ten to fifteen minutes just to make each post that I made, this one here and one in Crimson's Evolve fed. It really stinks but it is what it is. Until I find another solution it may be a very slow process updating my fed on here.
Thanks as always for all of the past support and I will continue following other feds when I can catch breaks at work. If anything I might post one show a week from home on here even if it takes a while to sign in and post it. I have had my home computer for a long time now but only recently have I had this kind of trouble and getting a new comp isn't in the cards for me right now.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. I am posting from work right now lol, but on a break. I recently got the Shimmer Volume 3 cards and am going to get the ROH set for sure coming up so I still have the dice rolling in me. The computer situation is very annoying though and until I find another solution my card posts may be a while in between but rest assured I will do my best to keep things updated.

In the words of Johnny Drama from Entourage - VICTORY! I was able to fix my computer issue and can post my results again. Thanks to Pariah and Crimson for the support and I hope you enjoy this action from the AWE...
LOW American Wrestling Enterprise - Cobo Hall - Detroit, MI (Card #925)
1) The French Angel defeated Timber: After a tough loss to ASW star Dupae Rupa in his AWE debut, The French Angel looked to rebound taking on another ASW star in Timber, “The Insane Lumberjack”, who also happens to be a former LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion. There was nothing pretty about this match as The Angel and Timber threw down from the opening bell. Timber survived the Bearhug early and struck back with a powerslam. The Angel recovered and netted a two count after a bodyslam and press. The two also fought on the outside before The Angel put this one away applying the Bearhug for a second time to score a submission victory.
2) Yukon Eric & Jim Brunzell defeated The Terrible Turk & Finlay: Tag team action saw the popular pairing of Yukon Eric & Jim Brunzell taking on The Terrible Turk (Youssuf Ishmaelo) & “Belfast Bruiser” Finlay. Neither side had any experience teaming together so it made for a most interesting match. The most heated action came from the exchanges between Eric and The Turk which had the crowd on the edge of their seats. Brunzell really made a difference in the bout using his speed to his advantage including scoring a two count on The Turk courtesy of a flying bodypress off of the top rope. Moments later it was Brunzell nailing The Turk with the Killer Dropkick for the pin as Eric prevented Finlay from making a save.
3) Jim Powers defeated Larry Zbyszko by DQ: After his huge upset win over Larry Zbyszko on the last edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling, ASW star Jim Powers ventured to the AWE for a rematch with the Heenan Family member. This time Bobby “The Brain” Heenan was at ringside for Zbyszko who hoped to avenge that defeat. Zbyszko controlled things early and nailed Powers with the Piledriver but he pulled him up at the count of two. That proved to be a mistake as Powers subsequently countered a deathjump with a superplex and then hit the Powerslam for a big near fall. Powers followed up with another Powerslam and then a flying bodypress from the top rope with Heenan distracting the referee both times to prevent a pin. Powers kept up his attack and again had Zbyszko pinned but Heenan jumped into the ring attacking him resulting in the disqualification decision. Powers went to 2-0 against Zbyszko but paid for it as the “Living Legend” and Heenan left him laying in a post-match attack.
4) Mikey Whipwreck defeated Bill Dundee: The popular Mikey Whipwreck out of Buffalo, NY, took on the “Superstar” Bill Dundee who was accompanied by the “Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart. The First Family was determined to get a win here but Whipwreck had other ideas. He started out like a house on fire and scored consecutive near falls on Dundee with a tornado DDT and slingshot legdrop. Dundee survived the Frankenmikey and came back with a big splash and held the tights for a near fall. Dundee continued his offensive until Whipwreck scored with the Whipper-Snapper after winning a battle on the outside. Hart jumped on the ring apron preventing a pin and went to hit Whipwreck with his megaphone but he missed and hit Dundee instead. A shocked Hart fell off of the ring apron as Whipwreck slipped behind the dazed Dundee and executed a Roll-Up to score the pin. The crowd erupted in cheers as Whipwreck picked up a huge win while a groggy Dundee argued with Hart as they returned to the locker room.
5) Angelo & Lanny Poffo defeated Valiant Brothers by DQ: The bad blood between the Poffo Family (Angelo & Lanny Poffo) and the Valiant Brothers (Jimmy “Boogie Woogie Man” Valiant & Luscious” Johnny Valiant) was on full display here. The Valiant Brothers and manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan tried to intimidate ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta prompting the Poffo’s to come to his rescue. That got things off to an explosive start and early action saw the Valant’s turn things around getting the heat on Angelo for an extended stretch. It was Jimmy scoring consecutive near falls on Angelo after teaming with Johnny on the choke with tag rope and then delivering a wind-up elbow drop. It wasn’t long before things went out to the floor where all four men battled it out. Lanny traded blows with Jimmy on one side of the ring while Angelo did the same with Johnny on the other side. Heenan distracted Angelo which allowed Johnny to pick up a chair delivering a shot to the midsection. Johnny then slammed the chair down across the back of Poffo which the referee saw and he called for bell. Angelo and Lanny won it by disqualification but the battle continued post-match as they battled back to the locker room with the Valiant Brothers and Heenan.
6) Andre the Giant & Midnight Rockers defeated King Kong Bundy, Mad Dog Vachon, & Butcher Vachon by DQ: Big six-man tag team action featured the undefeated “Eighth Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant teaming with the Midnight Rockers (Stan Lane & Marty Jannetty) to do battle with First Family members King Kong Bundy, Mad Dog Vachon and Butcher Vachon. Jimmy Hart was out at ringside for his men and yelling into the megaphone that Bundy was going to beat Andre to win the match. That nearly happened in the early going as Andre hit the Big Splash on Bundy and had the pin but Hart ran over and struck Andre in the head with the megaphone breaking it up. Moments later, with the Rockers battling the Vachon’s on the outside, Bundy set up Andre and hit the Avalanche but he kicked out just before the three count. Hart was beside himself at ringside as Bundy argued with the referee over what would have been an historical fall for the big man from Atlantic City, NJ. Things picked up in intensity from there with some great back and forth action. That included Andre with a ring shaking underhook suplex on Bundy and Butcher nearly winning it for the Heenan Family when he caught Lane in the Hangman. Unfortunately it would be yet another disqualification decision ending this match as Mad Dog drew the DQ when he hit Andre with the ring bell during a battle on the outside.
7) LOW International Heavyweight title: Greg Valentine© defeated John Pesek to retain the title: The double tough John Pesek has been on a roll of late and he earned this championship opportunity as he took on Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, accompanied by his manager Captain Lou Albano, for the LOW International Heavyweight title. The early action was pretty physical with Valentine going regularly to the shoulder tackle to take down Pesek. The challenger found a counter and caught Valentine with the lateral press keylock. That frustrated the champion who bailed out of the ring baiting Pesek into following him out. The two traded blows on the floor but Valentine gained the upper hand and sent Pesek hard into the ring apron. Back inside he dropped Pesek with a neckbreaker and covered him for a two count. The battle continued at a torrid pace until Valentine was able to lock on the Figure Four Leglock trapping Pesek in center ring. Pesek tried in vain to escape but was unable to and he tapped out giving Valentine the victory via submission. It was an impressive successful version five defense of the title for Valentine who proudly held up the belt as Albano smoked his victory cigar at ringside. The crowd jeered Valentine and Albano as they left ringside but cheered for Pesek who put in a strong showing in going for the title.
8) LOW World Heavyweight title: Dan Severn defeated Lou Thesz© by Count Out: The main event was one for the ages as Michigan native Dan “The Beast” Severn, a former LOW World Heavyweight and LOW International Heavyweight champion, took on defending LOW World Heavyweight champion Lou Thesz for the prestigious title. Both men shook hands at the bell but Thesz found himself in the unusual heel position as the crowd was solidly behind Severn. Both men were at the top of their game for this match trading holds and counter holds throughout that had the crowd watching in awe. Severn netted the first near fall of the match when he caught Thesz with a shoulder slam. Thesz made some beautiful counters and then caught Severn with a hammerlock converted into a double wristlock. A released power bomb led to Severn alertly bailing out of the ring to take a breather. Severn returned with a vengeance and caught Thesz with both the choke sleeper and German suplex. He had the champion in trouble until Thesz countered an arm wringer into a nice waistlock takedown. Thesz then sent Severn into the turnbuckle and charged in but missed crashing shoulder first into the ring post. Thesz fell out of the ring to the floor and Severn followed alertly trapping him in the Wakigatame. The champion was in serious trouble but the referee was issuing his ten count. Severn was intent on putting the hurt on Thesz and it cost him as he released the hold just in time to roll back inside beating the ten count. Thesz was counted out of the ring and Severn got the win but the technicality cost him the championship. The crowd jeered the announcement that Thesz had retained the title in his version six defense but then cheered as Severn showed respect by helping the champion back into the ring and shaking hands with him.

Man, I really wanted Timber to win his match against The French Angel to keep a streak going with two guys (Dupae Rupa & Timber) I really like. I did like that tandem of Yukon Eric and Jim Brunzell winning their bout, but too bad Bill Dundee lost and what a victory for Dan Severn, only not to win the gold...

I must echo everything said here... Plus, I've gotta add that it was crazy cool seeing Jim Powers improve his record to 2-0 against The Living Legend... Even if it was via DQ... Very happy that you've got your PC issues straightened away and looking forward to getting that regular LOW fix... Good times!
