You have a great blend of territories and your upcoming Lucha Underground will be another top addition, plus I look to see your take on that style LU puts out... Thanks my friend, The Lucha Underground debut show won't be long now. I look to have it posted by later tonight or tomorrow. I just have the main event to roll out and then the recap to write.

LOW Lucha Underground - The Temple - Boyle Heights - Los Angeles, CA (Card #1103)
Announcers: Matt Striker & Ultramantis Black
* Sly Drury, the Boss of Lucha Underground, opened the show standing alongside Ultramantis Black. Drury had the Eye of Tyr hanging around his neck and held a briefcase with the Lucha Underground logo emblazoned on it. He thanked his longtime friend Ultramantis for opening the portal that brought him back and rewarded him by making him an announcer on the show alongside Matt Striker. He said that it would be the first of many rewards for the “Megalomaniacal Insectoid”. Another is that he has granted Ultramantis his request to have Incoherence (Hallowicked & Frightmare) come to the Temple and they would be featured in action on the card. Drury then referenced the meeting in the desert where he and Ultramantis were joined by “The Machine” Brian Cage and the Matanza. He said that there were three men spying on them that day and that they would pay tonight in the main event as Cage and Matanza take on Mil Mascaras and Prince Puma, accompanied by Konnan.
At that point, he was cut off by Rob Van Dam who hit the ring to huge chants of “RVD”. Drury was taken aback by his arrival and demanded to know what he wanted. RVD told Drury to “chill out” and that maybe it would be good for him to indulge in the “420” drawing cheers from the crowd. Drury cut him off and said that no one interrupts him and he signaled to the back bringing out The Crew – Bateman, Che Cabrera and Sasha Darevko. The three surrounded RVD until suddenly Jerry Lynn ran in and stood back-to-back with him preventing an attack. Drury called off The Crew and said that he appreciates loyalty, especially when it goes in the face of a longtime rivalry. That, however, is not how he does things and instead of doing the boringly obvious and making a tag team match he was going to go one better – put RVD against Lynn in a singles match. He added that the winner of that match would receive a big opportunity so both men had better be prepared for the match. That led to Lynn and RVD having a stare down as a smiling Drury headed to his office along with The Crew.
Quick Results:
1) Dalton Castle, Halcon Oro & Saturyne vs. El Generico, Son of Havoc & “Latina Sensation” Mercedes Martinez was a Draw
2) 2 Cold Scorpio & The Mack defeated Excalibur & Jeremiah Crane (The Mack pinned Excalibur – Chocolate Thunder Bomb)
3) Delirious defeated Samuray Del Sol (Pinfall – Bizzaro Driver)
4) Crossbones defeated Killshot by DQ
5) Incoherence (Hallowicked & Frightmare) defeated Super Crazy & “The Darewolf” PJ Black (Frightmare pinned Crazy – Kneecolepsy, a standing Moonsault and double knee to the chest)
6) Dante Fox defeated Moose (Pinfall – Krunch, an over the shoulder back to belly piledriver)
7) Jerry Lynn defeated Rob Van Dam (Pinfall – Cradle Piledriver)
8) “The Machine” Brian Cage & Matanza defeated Mil Mascaras & Prince Puma (with Konnan) by DQ
Match Highlights: A scintillating main event on the debut show for Lucha Underground saw “The Machine” Brian Cage & Matanza score a disqualification victory over Mil Mascaras & Prince Puma who were accompanied by Puma’s manager Konnan. Cage and Matanza used their size and power to dominate Mascaras early doing a real number on the seven-time LOW World Heavyweight champion. Cage nearly pinned him with Weapon X only to have Puma make a last second save. Puma helped turn the tide and hit Chocolate Rain on both Cage and Matanza for two counts. Mascaras recovered and delivered some great offense including scoring a two count on Cage after a slingshot plancha. The Matanza proved to be nearly unstoppable, though, and had Mascaras pinned after an Athletic-Plex only to have Konnan interfere with a cane shot. The cane broke over the head of Matanza but he shrugged it off going after Konnan. Puma avoided a charge by Cage and dropkicked Matanza from behind sending him out of the ring and saving his manager. Mascaras recovered and dropkicked Cage over the top rope clearing the ring. Cage and Matanza won it by DQ and proved to be a dominant and scary force on this night.
The legendary rivalry between Jerry Lynn and Rob Van Dam took center stage in the semi-final with both men competing for a big opportunity promised to them by Sly Drury. This was an epic battle that saw RVD survive two Cradle Piledrivers and Lynn survive both the Van Daminator and the Five Star Frog Splash. It was a third Cradle Piledriver by Lynn that ended it as he scored a huge win over a bloody RVD. Both men shook hands after the hard-fought bout but were then interrupted by Drury who emerged from his office. He said that he was impressed by the match but then began laughing as he revealed to Lynn that there was no big opportunity to fight for as he just set up the match to watch them beat each other up. The crowd jeered that as both Lynn and RVD went to confront Drury only to be jumped from behind by The Crew. It was a vicious three-on-two assault until a chair wielding 2 Cold Scorpio ran in driving The Crew off. Drury was upset by that and said that the three have forced him to do the boringly obvious and he booked a trios match between the two sides on the next card at The Temple (Card #1112).
The opening trios match on the card was an electrifying affair with Dalton Castle, Halcon Oro and Saturyne going to a draw with El Generico, Son of Havoc and Mercedes Martinez. All six performers got in some great offense in a match that featured many near falls. It was interesting to note that a strange masked woman was perched above the ring area watching the combatants, particularly Saturyne, which could be cause for alarm…The popular Samuray Del Sol had a great match with Delirious including surviving the dreaded Red Poison. Del Sol hit the Del Sol Driver for a big near fall late before Delirious won it…Local manager Caesar B. Black took an interest in the match between Moose and Dante Fox. He interfered to assist Moose at one point but Fox overcame that and scored a huge win over his larger opponent. Black left ringside shaking his head afterward so there is no telling what the manager is thinking as he looks to sign a client to his stable…Super Crazy & “The Darewolf” PJ Black gave Incoherence (Hallowicked & Frightmare) a run for their money in a great bout. Hallowicked survived a 450 Splash from Black before he and Frightmare busted Crazy open with a strong offensive attack. Crazy survived Never Wake Up, a cross-legged Fisherman DDT, by Hallowicked before he was pinned by Frightmare…Crossbones jumped Killshot during the ring introductions setting off a wild brawl on the floor. Killshot lost his cool and took a disqualification loss as he hammered away at Crossbones with chair shots. Drury emerged from his office afterward and said that since Killshot likers to go outside of the rules he could have a No DQ Match with a man that was seen standing at the top of the stairs – the 6’7” and 375-pound Tursas – on the next card at The Temple.
Vignette: Sly Drury was holding court in his office after the show surrounded by Ultramantis Black, Crossbones, Tursas and The Crew. He was pleased with how this first night at The Temple turned out and promised that he would rule with an iron hand. He vowed that Lucha Underground would be made over in his image and that anyone who got in the way of his plans would be destroyed. He ordered The Crew to show “no mercy” and for Ultramantis to keep a keen eye on things from his broadcast position. He said that no expense will be spared to get what he wants and with that he handed over six wads of cash to his henchman. Ultramantis let out an evil laugh and turned to Crossbones, Tursas and The Crew telling them that honoring the wishes of Mr. Drury should be their primary focus. They nodded in agreement with Ultramantis before Drury ordered them to leave for the night.
Ultramantis led them out of the office while Drury looked down at the Eye of Tyr hanging around his neck. He then thought about the lethal combination of “The Machine” Brian Cage and the Matanza that he put together for the main event, observing pictures of the two stars on his desk. Drury was about to leave when a finger tapped him on the shoulder. He turned quickly but no one was there. He then turned to leave and staring right at him was a beautiful woman who called herself Catrina.
“You didn’t think that the war could start without us, did you?”
Drury tried to answer but Catrina put her hand up to his mouth and said that the question was not meant to be answered as the answer is already known. She walked around Drury before grabbing him by the jaw and telling him that The Temple will never know any peace, just a thousand deaths. Drury looked on concerned as a large shadow appeared in front of him. It was then that he came face to face with a thousand deaths himself – Mil Muertes. Catrina informed Drury that Muertes was to be given whatever he wanted and that included the Eye of Tyr. Drury refused prompting Muertes to grab him by the throat and lift him up off the ground. It was an agonizing few moments for Drury before Catrina warned him that nothing will prevent Muertes from taking what he wants. Drury said arrangements could be made for any business propositions and that as The Boss of Lucha Underground he will make sure that Muertes gets what he wants, except for the Eye of Tyr. Catrina smiled and said that Muertes was just testing him and that for now he has passed. Drury seemed relieved and went to respond only to find that both Catrina and Muertes had vanished from his office…

It looks like Mr Drury is wasting no time (and sparing no expense) to reshape this particular battleground to his liking... It's going to be tons of fun watching this particular tale develop... One of the greatest COTG characters of all-time is here to stay...
The roster is looking exceptional... Just like in real life, Son of Havoc will be receiving my full support... And it's pretty cool that he teamed up with El Generico and Mercedes Martinez...
Lynn vs RVD was every bit as exciting as expected... Even though they are scheduled to join forces on the next episode, I think a 'Best of' series between these two would be an exceptional draw... Mr Drury should keep that in mind...
Matanza and Cage are a monstrous combination... Gotta be impressed with Mascaras and Puma for putting up such an awesome fight... Not sure what Mr Drury's future championship plans are, but I expect these four competitors to be in the picture...
And of course, what can be said about A Thousand Deaths? It should be neat to have the Promoter Prime release for Catrina - The mechanics should be quite unique...
Really like how you're using the LU character names for the wrestlers that have FG cards... If I'm not mistaken, Matanza is played by Jeff Cobb, right? On a side note, I have to ask... Do you happen to watch Big Brother at all? The guy who plays the role of Vibora appeared on season 17 - Austin Matelson... Intimidating stature, but his facial expressions are way too goofy... Good thing he's wearing that snake mask... LOL!
An absolutely wicked premiere showing for Lucha Undeground... Looking forward to more!

Now that felt like Lucha Underground with a splash if you will of ECW and that splash is RVD versus Jerry Lynn, plus that twist where there was no opportunity was fun stuff. I'll keep saying it, you continue to have totally different territories that stand out from one another. Great work and a great start to your new territory...

Thanks for the comments Pariah, Crimson and Vegas. Pariah that was an awesome rundown of the Lucha Underground debut show, thanks for that. Sly Drury has fit in perfectly for me especially with him having that commissioner card not to mention his past affiliation with Ultramantis Black in my fed. Mr. Drury will take some of your ideas under consideration, after all he loved seeing Lynn and RVD beat each other up. I'm not sure what I am going to do about titles in LU yet but maybe something will be announced soon. If you noticed I put Son of Havoc with Mercedes (sub for Ivellise) and Generico (sub for Angelico) to have that trios combo somewhat represented in my fed. I decided to go with the LU names where applicable and it is cool that we have a number of them with official cards in FG. Matanza is Jeff Cobb and as for Vibora I am not familiar with him as I am only on the start of season two of LU on Netflix.
Crimson, I like the connection you made between LU and ECW as it definitely has that feel to it especially with Lynn versus RVD. I did that thing with the opportunity yanked away by Drury in order to show how Drury is going to be as The Boss, as villainous as possible. Those two laid it all on the line only to have Drury yank the rug out from under them.
Vegas, I can't believe the 378 pages myself. I wonder if there is a page limit? I might have to continue things on a second thread if there is. A special thanks to you as your signing of Karlee Perez and Mhardcore sending me a boot of Mil Muertes set things up perfectly for the LU debut show. I can't wait to get that card so Catrina can play a ringside role in my fed.
The next show coming in 3, 2, 1...

2) Chris Sabin defeated “The Enforcer” C.W. Anderson (Pinfall – Cradle Shock)
3) Lord Zoltan & BJ Whitmer (with Kevin Sullivan) defeated Killer Bees (Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) (Zoltan over Brunzell by submission – Triangle Death Grip)
4) KRU Real World Tag League - A Block: Giant Baba & The Destroyer defeated Drew Gulak & Anthony Nese (The Destroyer pinned Gulak – Flying Bodypress)
5) Pampero Firpo defeated Angelo “King Kong” Mosca (with J.J. Dillon) (Pinfall – Big Elbow Drop)
6) KRU Real World Tag League - B Block: Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons defeated Da Hit Squad (Monsta Mack & Dan Maff) by DQ
7) LOW International Heavyweight title: The Sheik© (with Abdullah Farouk) defeated Curt Hennig to retain the title (Pinfall – Fireball)
8) LOW World tag team titles: Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, with Jim Cornette) defeated Road Warrior Animal & “Precious” Paul Ellering to win the titles (Condrey pinned Animal – Snake Eyes – Double Goozle, a clothesline and shoulder to the back of the knees combo)*
Match Highlights: History was made in Pensacola as the Jim Cornette-led Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Bobby Eaton) became five-time LOW World tag team champions by winning the belts from Road Warrior Animal & “Precious” Paul Ellering. The substitution of Ellering on the Road Warriors team was due to Hawk having been injured by Steve Williams & Terry Gordy in their title win at WrestleCade 11. Ellering never got into the match as Animal tried to go it alone. He fared well but it became too much for him and the Express used a double-team move on him to secure the gold. Animal was seething made post-match as he clotheslined Eaton over the top rope before hoisting Condrey up on his shoulders. Ellering then dove off the top rope with his own version of the Doomsday Device. Condrey had a bad landing on his neck and was injured as result. He was taken off on a stretcher with a despondent Eaton and a hysterical Cornette accompanying him to the back.
Bruiser Brody was not scheduled to appear but he showed up during the opening match between Frank Dalton of All-Star Wrestling and Kevin Sullivan. Brody stormed in through the crowd swinging his chain and barking “Huss, Huss!” as Sullivan tangled with Dalton. Sullivan managed to win it but then high tailed it to the back as Brody was headed off at the pass by LOW officials. Army of Darkness members Lord Zoltan & BJ Whitmer followed up with a controversial win over the Killer Bees (Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) after Sullivan interfered with the Golden Spike. Brunzell took that blow setting him up for the Triangle Death Grip from Zoltan. Brody returned post-match saving the Bees from a three-on-two attack by the Army of Darkness.
Curt Hennig put up a spirited fight against The Sheik as he challenged him for the LOW International Heavyweight title. He even battled The Sheik on the outside several times and more than held his own. The Sheik, however, dug down into his back of tricks and burned Hennig with a Fireball to get the pin in his version three title defense. Hennig needed medical assistance but will not miss any ring time suffering from minor burns to the face…Giant Baba & The Destroyer and the Flying Redheads (Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) picked up key wins ion the ongoing Kings Road United Real World Tag League tournament. The Destroyer survived a near fall on a Spider German Suplex by Anthony Nese as he and Baba took the decision over Nese and Drew Gulak. The Redheads took a beating from Da Hit Squad but more than held their own against their larger foes winning by disqualification due to excessive double-teaming outside the ring…Pampero Firpo countered outside interference by manager J.J. Dillon and nearly put Angelo Mosca away with the El Garfio. He also survived a loaded Big Nasty Elbow Drop from Mosca before pinning the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament finalist with a Big Elbow Drop of his own…and, the highly touted Chris Sabin out of Detroit, MI, was impressive in his CWA debut beating “The Enforcer” C. W. Anderson. It was a nip and tuck battle all the way before Sabin hit the Cradle Shock for the win.
Injury Report: * “Loverboy” Dennis Condrey of the Midnight Express barely had time to celebrate a fifth LOW World tag team title win when Road Warrior Animal and “Precious” Paul Ellering took him out with a Doomsday Device. Condrey suffered a neck injury and will be out of action for an indefinite period. Manager Jim Cornette was livid over the incident and might now have to find a substitute to help “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton defend the titles.

I enjoy Firpo winning and the team of Zoltan and Whitmer is quite interesting. (I often ally Zoltan with Sullivan), Redheads winning is also good even if by DQ and cool to see the Midnights winning the belts.

What a crazy turn of events... Midnight Express win the tag belts possibly due to Hawk's injury... And now Condrey is injured himself... Wonder if Cornette will step up like Ellering did... LMAO! Not likely, I'm thinking...
Brody made a lot of noise and Sullivan better be careful... He's made himself a potent enemy...
Very pleased that The Sheik retained the International title... And the KRU Real World Tag League continues to offer some excellent action... Baba & Destroyer are a force to be reckoned with...
Awesome show, as always!
