Superb action from start to finish, my friend... Baba & Destroyer are looking really strong in the Real World Tag League so far... And even though it's still early in the competition, it could be theirs to lose...
The six man main event brought together some big names and certainly did not disappoint... Also enjoyed the vicious encounter between The Crusher and Wild Bull... Too bad it ended on a technical note... Hoping for some kind of hardcore rematch...
Then there's the reemergence of Sir Oliver Humperdink as he unveils his new (as well as not so new) clientele... All to the detriment of the Solid Man... Which brings me too a question that I just have to ask...
When Stevens interfered in that match, was it the result of actually choosing to roll on the outside interference chart? OR was it a device that you decided to write into the match to build a story? This could potentially lead to some great discussion among fellow promoters and I might have to actually open up a separate thread later... For now, I'd be quite happy to know how you approached this situation... Thanks!
Another entertaining installment in the LOW legacy... Awesome work!

As someone who is no fan of the Young Bucks, though I do respect their abilities, I was pretty happy to see them lose.
Let's hope that Bockwinkel and Stevens have more luck for you than they have had for me in N.E.W.

Big fan of Golden Age Wrestling and the sox man tag was a real highlight. What a team of good-looking Blue Eyes as well?!
Always love seeing Bockwinkel take a big victory over Muldoon and elsewhere a solid win for Gorgeous George.
It's fair to say the competition is very strong here in Golden safe Wrestling, and I'll be tuning in on my 14" black n white t.v every week.

Thanks for the comments Troy, Crimson, Pariah, AJ and Joebreakdown. I have to admit I love the GAW action as well and cool comment Joe about the black and white television action. It took me a long time to go with this idea of grouping these guys together, which others have done on the boards before me, but man I really like it. The Flying Redheads over the Young Bucks was a nice upset for sure and makes things a little tighter in the B Block. Giant Baba & The Destroyer are definitely on a roll and they could run away with the A Block unless someone can hand them a loss soon. As to your question Pariah, I had planned to introduce Ray Stevens no matter what the result was. When Bockwinkel won clean with the abdominal stretch I just added in the chair shot from Stevens to add some heat to the finish. Had Muldoon had Bockwinkel in a bad situation late I would have rolled on the outside interference chart for Stevens to get involved. In case anyone is wondering I went with Sir Oliver Humperdink managing Bockwinkel & Stevens to add a different twist to things not to mention that Bobby Heenan is busy managing Andre the Giant in the CWA.

That was a stacked card! Lots of my favourites in action. I was sad to see the Young Bucks lose to the Redheads, I had the Redheads over in FPW a while back but they just beat everyone so it was no fun! I'd like to see a rematch - are you using the most recent Young Bucks cards? The main event was wild too! I suppose with those great names (and egos) in the ring it was always going to be a thriller.

Thanks for the comments Kat Rana. The Flying Redheads have been doing pretty good for me and as for the Young Bucks I am using their color cards. They did very poorly with their b&w cards but since I made the switch they have performed much better. The loss to the Redheads was just a good roll of the dice for Bastien and Lyons. I recently started a new job and my dice rolling time has been severely limited but I hope to get some action in over the weekend. Next up is a SHIMMER card headlined by Saraya Knight defending the title against Vanessa Kraven plus Sara Del Ray returns from injury defending the Heart of SHIMMER title against MsChif.

5) Kay Lee Ray defeated Rhia O’Reilly (Pinfall – Snake Eyes – Swanton Bomb)

7) Heart of SHIMMER Title: Sara Del Ray© defeated MsChif to retain the title (Pinfall – Northern Lights Suplex)
8) SHIMMER Title: “Sweet” Saraya Knight© defeated “The Mountain” Vanessa Kraven by DQ to retain the title
Match Highlights: If anything, the action that took place at SHIMMER Volume 44 helped set up what should be an incredible show at Volume 45 (Card #1128). The main event saw the dangerous “Sweet” Saraya Knight put the SHIMMER title on the line against “The Mountain” Vanessa Kraven, an associate of former SHIMMER champion Jessicka Havok, the “Havok Death Machine”. Havok was none too pleased with being passed over for a championship rematch even if it was Kraven getting the opportunity. It was all Kraven for a good portion of the match as she used her size and strength to her advantage. Knight nearly pulled off a pin with a counter roll-up after Kraven had missed a corner charge. She also used her brawling tactics to force Kraven on the defensive late. The finish saw Knight trap Kraven in the Knightmare, a single-leg Boston Crab hold, prompting a run in by Havok. She joined Kraven in driving Knight to the mat with a double power bomb resulting in Knight retaining the title by DQ.
They continued attacking Knight until LOW officials intervened and pulled the champion out of the ring. Knight, however, let out a roar and charged back in getting into a brawl with both women. When order was finally restored SHIMMER promoter Dave Prazak announced that at Volume 45 it will be Knight defending the title against both Havok and Kraven in a Triple Threat Match. Knight, who survived her version five title defense, will have a chance to tie the record of six title defenses of the former LOW Women’s title which was set by Jaguar Yokota.
Prazak also had a big decision to make regarding the ongoing hostility between Trish Stratus and the Mademoiselle Rachelle-led faction of Blonde, Red and Bad Ass – Barbi Hayden, Taeler Hendrix and Kelly Klein. After Hayden and Hendrix won their match over Allison Danger and Davina Rose, a chair wielding Stratus hit the ring looking for some revenge against her adversaries. They escaped and were joined by Klein on the floor daring Stratus to make a move. Danger and Rose did their best to restrain Stratus who grabbed the mic and once again threw down a challenge for a three-on-one match against BRB where she will leave SHIMMER if she loses. Prazak once again turned that down but said that if Stratus could find some partners to make it even he would sanction it. Danger and Rose quickly offered their services and so at Volume 45 it will be Stratus, Danger and Rose against BRB where the loser of the fall will be forced to leave SHIMMER. That brought back bad memories for Danger who lost her R-Generation X tag team partner Leva Bates, now in Lucha Underground, under a similar stipulation.
Team PAWG (Lufisto & Jordynne Grace) earned a shot at SHIMMER tag team champions the Canadian Ninjas (Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews) at Volume 45 after their hard-fought win over Crazy Mary Dobson & Courtney Rush. That match got off to a wild start as Lufisto and Grace rushed the ring to save Kay Lee Ray from a three-on-one attack by Dobson, Rush and Rhia O’Reilly. That came directly after Ray had scored a win over O’Reilly, pinning her with a Swanton Bomb. PAWG had to fight off a strong offensive attack by Dobson and Rush ending it when Grace scored the pin on Crazy Mary following Weapon of Ass Destruction…Sara Del Ray, returning from injury, made a successful version four defense of the Heart of SHIMMER title fending off a strong challenge from MsChif. The former two-time holder of the SHIMMER title gave SDR all she could handle in an intense bout. Del Ray finally won it when she caught MsChif with a Northern Lights Suplex for the pin… The undefeated Shayna Baszler impressed with a strong win over Cherry Bomb, forcing her to tap out to an Ankle Lock. Amber Gertner tried to interview Baszler at ringside afterward but the intimidating former MMA competitor was having none of it. She got in her face and taunted her until Madison Eagles, who was on call for standby action, came out and put a stop to it. Eagles had no problem getting into the face of Baszler in what was an intense standoff. Baszler smirked and walked off prompting Eagles to call her out. Baszler didn’t return but it was later announced that the two will meet in the ring at Volume 45.
SHIMMER Top 10 Rankings:
1) Jessicka Havok 2) MsChif 3) Vanessa Kraven 4) Barbi Hayden 5) Madison Eagles 6) Trish Stratus 7) Candice LeRae 8) Shayna Baszler 9) Taeler Hendrix 10) Kay Lee Ray

I like that Team PAWG got the big win, now they need to win the gold. That 8 person match ended not like I wanted, it figures Su Yung takes the loss for her team...

An absolutely stellar performance by the champion in the main event... My first thought was that Sweet Saraya is going to be at a severe disadvantage when she defends her title against Havoc AND Kraven in a three-way dance... But, then I realized both of those women are hungry to claim the belt... Situations like these have a way of turning the closest allies into those most bitter of enemies in the blink of an eye... And that is what Sweet Saraya will have to remember if she wants to emerge from this upcoming challenge with her reign intact...
Was really hoping for Crazy Mary and Courtney Rush to defeat Team PAWG... Especially since it could have earned them a shot at the tag belts... Congrats to Lufisto and Jordynne on the big win and best of luck to them...
Trish proves that she is willing to put anything on the line to find STRATUSFACTION in her feud with BRB... As reported, Danger must be a little worried over the prospect of potentially losing another tag team partner... If that happens, what kind of friction would that cause between Danger and Stratus?
Another awesome show, my friend... Top notch!
