JR: Was that it? Did he get him? Costello kicked out but was it on time?
JS: I’m not sure; Costello looks like he’s not sure.
JR: London looks like he’s not sure. Robinson is with Gary Michael Cappetta. If it was 3 I didn’t see Robinson’s hand hit the mat the third time, but it was a bad angle.
JS: Boy, Red Berry looks like he’s going to go off.
JR: Robinson has the belts.
GMC: Ladies and gentlemen, the winners of this bout and NEW World Tag Team Champions: Paul London & Brian Kendrick!
JR: They did it! We have new Champions.
JS: The kids are going crazy. We’re seeing the replay from another angle now and its clear London got the three count. Costello kicked out a quarter of a second too late.
JR: Boy that was close, and you can see why we weren’t sure. But it’s clear from the replay, and the referee’s decision is final.
JS: Red Berry is furious; I’ve never seen anyone so mad. Heffernan is the only man not bleeding and he’s helping the busted up Costello to the back. Robinson looks like he may strike Red Berry if he doesn’t get out of his face.
JR: The whole tag division has to be happy about this. The Kangaroos stranglehold on the titles has been broken.
JS: JR, look out!
JR: What the? Steve Williams and Terry Gordy just came from the crowd behind us.
JS: The Champs don’t see them! Look out!
JR: Oh my God, double clotheslines take down the Champions. Come on, they just won the match of a life time here. Let them go.
JS: Security finally breaking it up, but not before Gordy and Williams stand triumphant over the broken and bloody new Champions. I guess that was their way of announcing their team to the world.
JR: That’s a hell of a statement, but totally uncalled for. You better believe there will be some checks to cash down the road.

JS: Well, let’s try to move on because up next is our main event!
JR: That’s right, Andre the Giant vs. Mil Mascaras for the biggest prize in our business. It’s Andre’s first shot at a Title of any kind. Mascaras is the man, and Andre may be humble but he will have to destroy that man if he wants the World Heavyweight Championship.
JS: I think Andre’s humbleness is refreshing, but if you are going to be Champion you have to beat the Champion, whether you respect him or not.
JR: Andre, Mascaras, there’s nothing more to say. Let’s go to the ring.
Main Event: World Heavyweight Championship Match Andre the Giant vs. Mil Mascaras [C]
First Fall: Andre has over a foot height advantage and 200 pounds on the Champion. After a handshake they start. Andre tries a knee lift and Mascaras counters it and locks in the octopus hold. He almost got him that quickly and the crowd is now more pumped than they were before for this match. FLYING BODYPRESS now from The Champion, 2 count! Andre gets to his feet and catches a flying clothesline. Mascaras is rolling. Mascaras puts together some quick moves and locks in the Indian deathlock. Andre gives up! Mascaras takes the first fall! The crowd is stunned.
Second Fall: Andre starts the second fall and is putting on the moves. Mascaras does an inside legsweep to escape a bearhug and locks on the standing surfboard. Andre surrenders again! Can you believe it? Mascaras is still Champion! Two straight falls over the Eighth Wonder of the World, who would have thought we’d see that?
JR: Goodnight from New York, folks. Tomorrow is a new day. What does the future hold?

Card 210: NWA Legends of Wrestling, Madison Square Garden (April 5)
Non-Televised Matches
Adrian Street with Miss Linda vs. Larry Sharpe: Sharpe surrendered to the London Bridge Leglock!
Chris Candido with Tammy vs. Jim Brunzell: Brunzell pinned Candido with a big splash off the top!
Nicolai Volkoff with Nikita Breznikov vs. B. Brian Blair: Volkoff submitted to the Boston Crab in a bland match.
Televised Matches
A recap of LegendsMania is shown. JR announced Danielson’s first match in LOW will be against US Champion Ed Lewis. He also discussed Steve Williams and Terry Gordy forming the Miracle Violence Connection tag team, and they will meet the James Gang tonight.
The Crusher vs. Hartford Love: Crusher gets another win with the CRUSHER BOLO! Maybe his luck is finally turning around.
Johnny Valentine vs. Dan Severn: Three ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHERS got Valentine the win.
The announcers discuss Andre’s crushing defeat in his first title opportunity. JR suggests he may be demoralized, and he will not appear tonight. Eric Bischoff thinks Andre threw the match to avoid the responsibility of being Champion.
Tag Team Match Miracle Violence Connection vs. The James Gang: While they did win, the MVC didn’t really impress as they struggled to control the James Gang most of the match. Doc used the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE to pin B.G.!
Magnum T.A. vs. Harley Race with Bobby Heenan: Two PILEDRIVERS got Race the easy win. With the roll T.A. has been on you could call this an upset, but maybe the former World Champion is finally getting back on track.
Jim Londos vs. Rick Rude with Bobby Heenan: A slow match. Rude submitted to a short arm scissors.
Everyone seems to be suffering fatigue from last night’s big event.
Tag Team Match The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering vs. The Masked Superstars with Jim Cornette: The Warriors may have a new Cornette managed enemy in the Superstars. When a brawl erupted on the floor Masked Superstar beat the count back in but Hawk did not. The Superstars have beaten the Road Warriors!
John Pesek vs. Iron Sheik: Pesek completely dominated the Sheik and got a win by submission to a DOUBLE WRISTLOCK! Pesek may be unstoppable!
Main Event: Non-Title Match Bryan Danielson vs. Ed Lewis [C]: A big test of Danielson for his first night in the majors. Lewis said he wanted to give Danielson a chance his first night here. This match was a brutal display of technicality. Danielson repeatedly escaped the STRANGLER’S HEADLOCK and used his speed to keep Lewis staggering. Lewis escaped the CATTLE MUTILATION but Danielson scored a huge pinfall win with a Regal-plex!

Card 211: NWA ECW from Philadelphia, PN (April 8)
Non-Televised Matches
Cousin Luke vs. Tom Prichard: Prichard won with a splash from the top rope. Prichard’s first win!
S.D. Jones vs. Adam Pearce: Pearce immediately hit a JUMPING PILEDRIVER for the win.
Gorgeous George with Cherie Dupre vs. Drake Younger: George used a SPINNING TOE HOLD to get a quick win.
Televised Matches
Welcome to ECW. LegendsMania is behind us and we have a new World Television Champion here in ECW, and he is putting the Title on the line TONIGHT! Plus the start of the Tiger Mask and Jushin Liger farewell tour!
Les Thatcher vs. Nigel McGuinness: Thatcher’s debut here in ECW. McGuinness hasn’t been doing too well lately, but Thatcher is winless. One man may get a foothold on the ladder to the top. A back and forth match. Nigel dominated but Thatcher managed to stay in the game. After surviving two Towers of London and 2 JAWBREAKER LARIATS Thatcher hits a sunset flip to get his first win.
Savage-T with KJ Hill vs. Danny Hodge: We haven’t seen Hodge in a while, but he always puts on a great show. Hodge won a quick match with the OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL!
Tag Team Match The Armstrongs vs. The Young Bucks: The Armstrongs are the number one contenders for the Tag Titles. With the point system coming back, this might be their only chance at the Gold. The Young Bucks could ruin everything with an upset win. Before any tags were made Matt missed a charge in the corner and Bob rolled him up with a school boy for the win.
Jushin Liger vs. Sabu with Bill Alfonso: This is a match we’ve never seen. Part of Liger’s tour before going to Japan. These two shake hands before circling each other to start the match. Liger dominated the early match until the referee was taken out by Sabu diving onto Liger and the two landing on the ref. Sabu then dominated as the referee was down, but never resorted to his hardcore tactics. He did hit the TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT twice and was ready to win when the referee woke up. Liger made a quick comeback but was caught in a CAMEL CLUTCH! He managed to escape but was then pinned after Air Sabu! The two shook hands afterward and the crowd applauded both men.
Delirious vs. UltraMantis Black: Mantis can’t be happy about the point system returning. No matter who walks away with the Title tonight Mantis will have to earn three points to get his shot. Delirious must be thinking the same thing, if he does in fact think. This was a brutal match. Delirious survived two PRAYING MANTIS BOMBS and Mantis survived 2 CHEMICAL IMBALANCE #2S. But the third CHEMICAL IMBALANCE got Delirious the win.
Tiger Mask vs. Rob Van Dam with Bill Alfonso: This match was scheduled earlier in the year at one point, but management decided at the time not to give it away for free. But you are getting it here for free now. RVD might be a bit heavy to be a true Junior Heavyweight, despite his style. Will that effect Tiger Mask’s game? Almost a repeat of Liger vs. Sabu. RVD fought a clean match but accidentally took out the referee. He hit the FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH while the referee was down. The two traded big hits, and both men’s amazing agility was on display. Finally Tiger Mask was pinned by a split legged moonsault. Not a good start for Liger and Tiger Mask.
Tag Team Match: Non-Title Heartbreak Express vs. London & Kendrick [C]: The new Champions get quite the ovation in their first appearance as Champions. You have to wonder if the grueling match against The Kangaroos and the brutal beat down by Gordy and Williams are still affecting the Champs. The Davises double teamed London for most of the match. London recovered with a sunset flip for 2 and tagged in Kendrick. Kendrick immediately hit SLICED BRED #2 on Sean for the win.
Main Event: World Television Championship Match Mike Quackenbush vs. Mike DiBiase [C]: Mike Quackenbush, a fan favorite, is still being dogged by talk he didn’t deserve to be in the number one contender’s match. But he did win that match, and if he beats the Champion with the Title on the line tonight, there will be no question. The two Mikes shake hands and then get underway. DiBiase fought a solid match but Quackenbush repeatedly countered moves in unique ways to get back on offense. Finally he hit a big splash followed by a QUACKENDRIVER II to win the World Television Championship.

Card 212: NWA International from London, England (April 10)
Non-Televised Matches
Ilio Dipaolo vs. Geeto Mongol: An AIRPLANE SPIN got DiPaolo a dominant win!
Youssuf Ishmaelo vs. Bepo Mongol: Bepo won a brutal match when The Turk was disqualified for using a STRANGLEHOLD!
The Mountie vs. Johnny Valiant with Lou Albano: After a brawl on the floor The Mountie won with a SHORT CHOKE SLAM!
Televised Matches
Welcome to the first NWA International since LegendsMania. Fan favorites Antonio Inoki and The Destroyer will do battle tonight to get a start at naming a number one contender for the International Championship, held by Rikidozan! Plus Mil Mascaras, with his World Championship intact, will face Ivan Koloff!
Yukon Eric vs. The French Angel: The Angel dominated and won with a BEAR HUG!
Frank Gotch vs. Jimmy Valiant with Lou Albano: Gotch won the war with The Sheik at LegendsMania. Now he wants to get in contention for the International Championship! Valiant dominated the early going, but once Gotch got back in he couldn’t be stopped. Albano distracted the referee while Valiant tapped out to the GOTCH TOEHOLD! Gotch then started a brutal series of submissions that set up a second GOTCH TOEHOLD for the win!
Tag Team Match The Fabulous Kangaroos vs. Red Bastien & Billy Lyons: The Kangaroos simply don’t look themselves without the Tag Team Championships, and this low on the card. They will have to start the road back to the Titles and earn 3 points, same as everyone else. The Reds took the Kangaroos to the limit, I think these teams now have more confidence knowing the Kangaroos aren’t invincible. But a second BOOMERANG on Bastien got the fall for the former Champions!
Pepper Gomez vs. Ox Baker: Gomez dominated the match with his speed and got Baker in the MEXICAN CRADLE for a big win!
George Steele vs. Don Muraco with Lou Albano: Steel surprised Muraco with a running knee for a quick pin!
Tag Team Match The Vachon Brothers vs. Doring & Roadkill: The Vachons dominated and won when Mad Dog pinned Rodkill after a Mad Dog Pounce!
Antonio Inoki vs. The Destroyer: A solid, if not short, match that the Londoners were very excited for. Both men had a good showing. Destroyer escaped the OCTOPUS HOLD only to catch an ENZUIGIRI and go down for the 3!
Main Event: Non-Title Match Ivan Koloff vs. Mil Mascaras [C]: Everyone is amazed at the showing that Mascaras had at LegendsMania, how easily he beat Andre the Giant to retain his World Championship. But Mascaras is smart, he won’t be looking past Koloff here tonight. Mascaras put on an aerial display against the slower Koloff. Koloff escaped both the CROSSBODY ATTACK and FLYING BODYPRESS, but was weakened for the octopus hold and soon tapped out.

Card 213: NWA Legends of Wrestling, Trenton, NJ (April 12)
Non-Televised Matches
Chris Candido with Tammy vs. Larry Sharpe: Sharpe almost got an upset with two PILEDRIVERS but then fell to the BLONDE BOMB!
Missing Link vs. Kip James: Link was disqualified during a brawl on the floor giving Kip his first win in singles competition.
Virgil vs. Brutus Beefcake: Virgil won a long back and forth match with a COBRA CLUTCH!
Televised Matches
On Bryan Danielson’s first night in NWA LOW he beat reigning United States Champion Ed “The Strangler” Lewis. With Lewis and compatriot John Pesek in tag team action tonight, Danielson faces his biggest challenge to date: The former World and United States Heavyweight Champion Harley Race! You just have to know that Bobby Heenan would love for one of his charges to derail Danielson’s momentum like King Kong Bundy did to Andre the Giant. And speaking of which, Andre will also be in action tonight for the first time since LegendsMania!
Don Leo Jonathan vs. Masked Superstar with Jim Cornette: Superstar controlled the pace of the match and slowly wore down Jonathan, finally winning with a COBRA HOLD!
Jimmy Snuka vs. Ted DiBiase with Virgil: Snuka recovered from an early beating to get the win with a leap frog and chop!
Buddy Rogers vs. George Hackenschmidt: A bloody Rogers survived a long stay in the RUSSIAN BEAR HUG and came back with a flurry of moves and a pole ram to get the pin over the former World Champion!
Tag Team Match Magnum T.A. & Andre the Giant vs. The Love Brothers: Hartford thought he had Andre taken care of after dominating Magnum, but a headbutt put him down without Reginald ever being tagged in.
The Crusher vs. Adrian Street with Miss Linda: Crusher doesn’t seem to know what to do with Adrian. Street countered almost everything the former World Champion threw at him, and got a huge upset when he pinned The Crusher with a third straight CRUCIFIX!
Jim Londos vs. Johnny Valentine: Londos got a dominant win with his AIRPLANE SPIN in less than a minute!
Tag Team Match Curt Hennig & Rick Rude with Bobby Heenan vs. John Pesek & Ed Lewis: Every man in this match has been United States Champion except John Pesek, and that may change in the coming weeks. Lewis never managed to make it into the match, and his attempts to save Pesek failed. Rude and Hennig dominated Pesek, and Rude used the RUDE AWAKENING to pin Pesek for the first time! Pesek is furious, and is arguing with Lewis. Can this friendship survive the upcoming US Title Match?
Main Event Harley Race with Bobby Heenan vs. Bryan Danielson: Race has a 3 inch and 83 pound advantage over the feisty newcomer. He’s also a two time United States Champion and former World Heavyweight Champion. Danielson has beaten Nick Bockwinkel in the past, so he has experience against opponents of this level. But can he also deal with Bobby Heenan? Race starts out rough. A quick cover after a diving headbutt seems to be just for show. After another jump from the ropes he throws Bryan to the floor. Bryan crawls back in the ring to beat the count, but is greeted with a PILEDRIVER! Race covers… 1… 2… Bryan kicks out! And now he sends Race to the ropes, double clothesline! Bryan is up first. A series of back and forth counters now, Bryan is too fast for Race. Bryan his a diving head butt of his own for a 1 count on Race and now Race is getting mad. Bryan has regularly used that move, it’s not like he was insulting Harley. Danielson now is choking ace in the corner but breaks at 4. He tries a running knee lift, Race counters. Race locks in the Indian Deathlock but Danielson makes it to the ropes. Bryan back to his feet now, but he catches another PILEDRIVER and this time Race gets 3! Heenan is celebrating like a mad man, as if Harley just won the World Title. Race doesn’t seem impressed, but ladies and gentlemen there is no shame in losing to Harley Race in your second match with the company. Bryan hung in longer than many others have in the past and he still has potential to be a Title Contender here in NWA LOW!

Nigel McGuinnesss vs. SD Jones: McGuinnesss get’s a quick win with the LONDON DUNGEON!

Arik Cannon vs. The Sandman: The crowd was pretty happy to see The Sandman back. Unfortunately Cannon dominated him and Sandman was eventually disqualified for posting Cannon on the floor.
Brent Albright vs. Chuck Taylor: Albright controlled the match and won with a half nelson suplex.
Tag Team Match The Age of the Fall vs. Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger: Black almost instantly hit the PHEONIX SPLASH on Liger for the win before any tags were made.
Eddie Kingston vs. Justin Credible: Credible got an easy win with two SINGAPORE CANE shots on the returning Eddie Kingston. Wherever Claudio Castagnoli is he must like this.
Sabu with Bill Alfonso vs. Tom Prichard: Prichard finally got rolling but was disqualified for attacking Sabu while he was tied in the ropes.
Delirious vs. Adam Pearce: It took 4 JUMPING PILEDRIVERS but Pearce finally kept Delirious down for three!
Rob Van Dam with Bill Alfonso vs. Gorgeous George with Cherie Dupre: World Television Champion Mike Quackenbush joins Joey Styles ringside for this match. This match will surely have Championship implications. George surprised everyone by dominating the fast rising RVD and getting a submission with a SPINNING TOE HOLD! Never discount Gorgeous George!
Main Event: World Tag Team Championship Match The Armstrongs vs. London & Kendrick [C]: A highly competitive match with no team dominating. “Bullet” Bob got a bit over zealous breaking up a pin and a brawl erupted. Paul London was beaten down but the referee disqualified Bob for staying in the ring past 10!
