NWA Heartland Card #132 Sky Bank Arena, Findlay, Ohio April 26, 2008 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE in the ring, stylin' and profilin' in his Armani BOSS black suit. Dave is wearing a heavy bandage on his forehead after the attack from RODERICK STRONG as he watches CHRISTY HEMME shake and strut in the ring. The tune, "Paradise City" by Guns 'N Roses fills the arena. Daytondave claps for Christy as she finishes her dance and plants a kiss on his cheek.Daytondave: Hey, fans, NWA Heartland is comin' back at ya! We are coming to you live from the Sky Bank Arena here in Findlay, Ohio, with tonight's episode of Friday Night Fury! We have a great night of action planned, including two special feature matches. Our main event will be for the #1 contender's position to the Heartland Heavyweight Championship as AUSTIN ARIES takes on NIGEL McGUINESS. Before that match, we will have a tag team challenge match as the result of a bizarre situation which occurred last Monday night at Adrenaline. THE ROCK came to ringside and began taunting his own father! As a result of the situation, Rock and his partner BOBO BRAZIL will square off against ROCKY JOHNSON and TONY ATLAS.Christy: Speaking of bizarre, I still don't believe what Roderick Strong did to you. How's your head? Daytondave: I've had worse. On that note, the Heartland Championship Committee has promised a decision tonight on the fate of Strong after his unprovoked attack on the Commissioner. Christy: I hope they fire him! Daytondave: That remains to be seen, my dear. Let's head to the ring for some exciting Heartland wrestling action! (Tonight's referee: Danny Davis)TAKESHI MORISHIMA pinned WAHOO McDANIELThe giant Japanese continued his roll through the Heartland. Morishima dropped Wahoo with a massive kick to the face, then pummelled him with punches and kicks until finishing him with the Saito Suplex. Daytondave: A tale of two men whose Heartland careers are headed in opposite directions. Other than helping DUSTY RHODES, Wahoo has accomplished very little during his stay in the Heartland. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS pinned ARN ANDERSON (w/ TRACI BROOKS)With tag partner TULLY BLANCHARD on the shelf, Anderson engaged in an intense battle with the Fallen Angel. The flow of the match varied from a technical exhibition to a brawl on the arena floor. Anderson punished Daniels with the Hammerlock Body Slam and worked the left shoulder in brutal fashion. Daniels gutted it out, then seized an opening coming off the ropes and levelled Anderson with a charging high knee. When Arn was slow to recover, Daniels quickly set him up for the Angel's Wings and captured the three count! Daytondave: What a fine match for Daniels! He took some serious punishment from a tough opponent but still found a way to win. Christy: Daytondave, I have just gotten word that COURTENEY COX will be joining us by a videoconference after the next match. She has an announcement from the Heartland Championship Committee. Daytondave: Excellent! It's time for RODERICK STRONG to pay the price for his actions last week. THE FANTASTICS (BOBBY FULTON & TOMMY ROGERS w/ DAFFNEY) defeated BLACKJACK MULLIGAN & BARRY WINDHAMThe father-son duo of Windham and Mulligan made their Heartland debut tonight, but it was the superior teamwork of Rogers and Fulton which decided this match. The Fantastics isolated Mulligan in the ring and Rogers smashed him with a soaring Rocket Launcher. Windham managed to break up the pin, but as Danny Davis ushered Barry back to the apron, the Fantastics blasted Mulligan with a double dropkick and Rogers covered him for the victory. Daytondave: So much for a touching story of father and son teaming together. You can bet this next match won't be any better. But before we see the showdown between ROCKY JOHNSON and THE ROCK, we have a special message from Heartland Championship Committee member COURTENEY COX.The video screen lights up and Courteney appears, dressed in a black business suit and holding a clipboard as she reads a prepared statement.Courteney: On behalf of NWA Heartland Wrestling, Inc., I am here tonight to issue an official apology to Heartland superstar Roderick Strong for any and all misunderstanding which may have occurred last Monday night at Adrenaline. It is not the practice of Heartland personnel to defame the character of our wrestlers. And Daytondave, consider this your final warning. Any further misconduct on your behalf will result in your dismissal. The screen goes to black.Daytondave: WHAT? She apologized to Roderick Strong? She threatened ME for misconduct? Christy: Oh my gosh. You have GOT to be kidding! Daytondave: Something about this just doesn't add up. You had better believe that I am going to get to the bottom of this! SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATION
ROCKY JOHNSON & TONY ATLAS (w/ SLICK) defeated BOBO BRAZIL & THE ROCK by countoutAfter The Rock taunted his defeated father, this special challenge match was signed. But Rock wanted nothing to do with his father in tonight's contest, leaving Bobo in the ring for most of the match, and tagging in only when his side had the advantage. Finally, Atlas got his hands on The Rock and dropped him with a jumping headbutt, then tagged in Rocky. Rocky electrified the crowd, nailing The Rock with a series of dropkicks. The Rock immediately slid out of the ring and walked out on Bobo, refusing to return to the ring to face his father and departing through the curtain. Johnson, along with Bobo and Atlas, appeared confused as Danny Davis completed the ten-count. Daytondave: Now that's just bizarre. What's gotten into Rock? Christy: I have no idea. He usually doesn't act like such a pansy. Daytondave: Who knows. The important thing is, we have a main event to get to. AUSTIN ARIES is set to take on NIGEL McGUINESS for a shot at the Heartland Heavyweight Championship. Ironically, this match was supposed to be Nigel vs. The Rock, until Rock lost his opportunity to Aries in a challenge match. I believe we have some footage of that situation before we head back to the ring. Footage is displayed from the April 7 edition of Monday Night Adrenaline at Normal, Illinois:
Aries: Now wait just one minute, Mr. Commissioner. Austin Aries is tired of the way that the Championship Committee kisses up to THE ROCK. The Rock is overrated! The Rock already had his shot at RIC FLAIR and he couldn't get the job done. The Rock very nearly got his candy ass pinned by Austin Aries last month in Tennessee in the triple threat match. It's time for the Rock to-
THE ROCK appears at the top of the ramp with a microphone.
Rock: It's time for the Rock to do WHAT? You listen to me, you hairy-looking punk! You wanna come out here and talk smack about The Rock? The Rock says, you ain't worth a plug nickel around here. The Rock says you ain't nothing but a skirt-chasing wannabe! You better take your ugly mug out of The Rock's business before The Rock comes down to that ring and slaps the taste out of your mouth!
Aries: Bring it on! You haven't proved anything to me. You're all talk!
Rock: All talk? You just wait until I get you in that ring, pretty boy.
Aries: You want a piece of me? I say, we do it tonight! I am gonna kick your tail right back to Hollywood. And after I beat you tonight, I am going to take your spot in the number one contenders' match!
Rock: You're on, fancy boy. Tonight you get the beating of a lifetime, brought to you by the most electrifying man in sports entertainment! If you SMELLLLLLLL-EL-EL-EL-EL-EL...... what The Rock..... is cookin!
SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATION
AUSTIN ARIES defeated THE ROCK by submission
In a fast-paced and furious match, Aries came out of nowhere with a corkscrew plancha to stun The Rock! Austin applied the Rings of Saturn in the center of the ring, and Rock fought gamely to endure the pain before being forced to tap out!
Daytondave: Unbelievable! The Rock just squandered his opportunity for another shot at the title- over a meaningless insult! It will be Aries versus McGuiness for the title shot!Daytondave: So, that's how we came to this moment- the #1 contenders' match! Now let's head back to the ring for the exciting Main Event! MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
NIGEL McGUINESS vs. AUSTIN ARIES ended in a No ContestAries and Nigel came out aggressively, both men hungry for their shot at the Heartland gold. The competitors exchanged several fast-paced sequences of technical moves and traded the advantage back and forth. As the intensity level grew, both men responded, pounding away at each other with vicious chops and trading clotheslines. Aries tossed Nigel through the ropes, but Nigel responded with a rebound jawbreaker lariat to send Aries tumbling to the floor. Nigel followed Aries out of the ring and it appeared that the battle would escalate. But before the action could continue, THE ROCK raced out of the dressing room and levelled Nigel with a powerful right hand! Rock immediately launched himself onto Aries, pummeling him with rights and lefts before pinning him against the security rail and bending him backward. Rock extended his right hand, gazing up at it, then laid the smack down on Aries! Austin tumbled over the security rail and into the crowd. Meanwhile, McGuiness made it to his feet and attempted to come to the aid of Aries. Rock grabbed Nigel by the hair, smashed his face onto the rail, and hurled him into the crowd on top of Aries! In response to the commotion, ROCKY JOHNSON and BOBO BRAZIL rushed to ringside. Before Rock's father and his tag partner could begin to talk sense into him, Rock picked up a steel chair and started wailing away! Rocky caught a chair shot flush across the head and went down hard. Rock took a swing at Brazil, but Bobo blocked the chair and tried to whip it away from Rock. As the partners struggled, Rock delivered a boot to the gut of Bobo, forcing him to drop the chair. Rock quickly grabbed Bobo by the hair and dropped him hard with a DDT onto the chair! With Rocky and Bobo incapacitated, the Rock marched to the announcer's table and grabbed a microphone.Rock: You may ask yourself... Rock... what are you doing? Why is The Rock out here laying the smack down on everyine in sight? Well, The Rock says, it's time for the Heartland to stop screwing with The Rock. The Rock doesn't need a contenders' match! The Rock is the best damn wrestler on the planet, and The Rock has earned a title match! So The Rock came out here tonight to lay the smack down and make a statement. And the statement is this: The Rock Says, until I get my title match, there is nobody in the Heartland who is safe! Rock storms behind the announcer's desk and grabs Daytondave by the lapels, but tosses him aside. Without warning, he reaches down to Christy Hemme and delivers a swift backhand across her face! Christy tumbles to the arena floor. The crowd falls silent as Heartland officials pour out of the dressing room, led by RENE GOULET. The Rock brushes past the security forces and stalks out of the arena as the officials tend to Christy and help Daytondave to his feet. Daytondave is speechless as the show fades to black.

Welcome aboard, Jason! Good to see you here at Filsinger. I switched games a while back after I met Tom and the Legends crew. Have you checked out the game? Yeah, i met them at NY Comic Con. I bought a few sets and my wife and I are gonna try it out. It looks like a ton of fun. (It looks like fun for multi-players, compared to Rampage, which is pretty much a single player game) I had ordered a CotG set in like 1997, but my brother and I didn't like it as much as Rampage. Thus why it took this long to come around to LOW. Keep up the great work.

NWA Heartland Card #133 University of Dayton Arena, Dayton, Ohio May 2, 2008 COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE enters the ring in a Zanetti Classic taupe double-breasted virgin wool suit with a yellow tie. He continues to sport a bandage on his forehead. The music, "Paradise City" by Guns 'N Roses plays as Daytondave looks to the entranceway, but no one emerges. Daytondave appears disappointed as he addresses the audience.Daytondave: Good evening, fans, and welcome to Friday Night Fury! NWA Heartland Wrestling is here tonight with another exciting card of action planned. Unfortunately, after the vicious attack on CHRISTY HEMME last week, it does not seem that she will be able to appear tonight. But, the show must go on! This is our last broadcast before the Havoc XVII pay-per-view, and there are a lot of issues which remain to be settled. NWA World Heavyweight Champion BRET "HITMAN" HART is scheduled to appear, and the Hitman needs a challenger! So, we'll have a #1 contenders' match tonight featuring the winningest wrestler in Heartland history- CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! The Heartland Championship Committee has decided that the Fallen Angel is deserving of the opportunity to face the World Champion- but he will have to earn his shot in the ring tonight against a formidable opponent! As you know, NWA Wrestling has recently retired the Junior X-Division title, so we have invited the former champion PSICOSIS to the Heartland to reward him with a shot at the gold! So tonight, it will be CHRISTOPHER DANIELS versus PSICOSIS in the #1 Contenders' Match! The music, "I Walk Alone" by Saliva plays overhead. The crowd cheers as Batista marches to the top of the ramp and addresses the crowd.Batista: Mr. Commissioner, I am appalled at what happened to Chirsty Hemme last week. The Rock wants to come out here and demand a title match? The Rock wants to lay the smack down on an innocent young lady? Rock, you went over the line when you put your hands on Christy- and tonight you will pay the price! You can have your precious title match- with ME! I'll happily put the Midwest belt on the line to get my hands on you. Batista drops the mike and returns backstage.Daytondave: Oh, fans! How about that! The animal Batista has challenged The Rock! We have just signed tonight's main event! Now, let's head to the ring and get the action started. (Tonight's Referee: Heather Owens)TITO SANTANA pinned KEN PATERASantana controlled most of the match with his quickness and pinned Patera with a swift sunset flip. Daytondave: A nice win for Tito Santana. He is a very dynamic performer who is just getting his heartland career started. Patera should try to get his career started soon. The Olympic Strongman just hasn't been much of a threat since his run-in with KILLER KOWALSKI.The music, "Sexy Boy" plays on the sound system and SHAWN MICHAELS struts to the platform. Daytondave: Another interruption! We'll never get the show finished tonight at this rate. Shawn, what's on your mind? Michaels: Sorry, Mr. Commish, for stopping the show. But that's what the Show-Stoppa does! It seems to me, your honor, that a lot of title shots are being tossed around tonight. The Rock got his by beating up poor Christy. Christopher Daniels got his by being so bald and ugly that no other territory ever wanted him. Psicosis got his by... gees, how on earth did THAT happen? So, your majesty, the Heartbreak Kid is here tonight to get my title shot the old-fashioned way- by asking politely! Daytondave: Come on, HBK. You know as well as anyone that earning a title match is a major undertaking! You can't just come out here and "ask politely" and expect to get booked for a title match! Without warning, the Flyertron lights up and COURTENEY COX appears. She is dressed in a conservative, navy blue business suit with her hair pulled back. She is wearing reading glasses.Courteney: Mr. Michaels? On behalf of the Heartland Championship Committee, we congratulate you on your significant accomplishments in the sport of professional wrestling. The Commissioner will be happy to award you with a title match. The screen goes black.Daytondave: WHAT? Good heavens. Very well, then, Shawn. Tonight, you will get your opportunity to earn a title match. Not just any title match, but a World Championship Match! Tonight's Contenders' Match will now be a Triple Threat Match. SHAWN MICHAELS versus PSICOSIS versus CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. The winner of that match will be granted the opportunity to face BRET HART at Havoc XVII. Are you satisfied? Michaels: I'll be satisfied, Mr. Commissioner, when I wear the gold around my waist. I'll see you in the ring tonight! LEX LUGER defeated DICK MURDOCHLex and Captain Redneck engaged in a long and brutal brawl. Much of the action occurred outside of the ring, in spite of Heather Owens' best efforts to maintain control. At one point, WAHOO McDANIEL came to ringside to support Murdoch, but Luger grabbed both men and slammed their heads together! Luger rode the momentum, flattening Murdoch with a running clothesline and hoisted him into the Torture Rack to secure the victory. Daytondave: This Luger is a monster! Murdoch has been on a roll, but tonight Luger was the better man. The music, "Nine to Five", by Dolly Parton plays overhead. CHRISTY HEMME appears at the top of the ramp. She is dressed in a conservative, navy blue business suit with her hair pulled back. She is wearing reading glasses. Wearing high heels, she walks awkwardly to the announcers' table carrying an envelope. As the camera pans in, she is heavily made up over her slightly swollen right eye socket.Daytondave: Christy! What a nice surprise! I wasn't sure you would be able to make it tonight. What's with the fancy suit? Christy: I've been reassigned. Daytondave: What?!? Reassigned? Nobody told me... Christy: I work for Courteney Cox now. She wants you to read this. Christy hands Daytondave the envelope and quickly departs from the scene. Daytondave appears perplexed as he opens the envelope and reads the letter.Daytondave: Official Subpeona: Commissioner Daytondave is hereby summoned to appear before the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court to present evidence in the civil matter of Roderick Strong vs. NWA Heartland Wrestling, Inc. It is hereby alleged that Mr. Daytondave has engaged in defamation of character for official comments expressed, which have resulted in an adversarial work environment... Fans, I have no idea what to say about this situation. I better just keep my mouth shut and direct your attention back to the ring for a special challenge match. ARN ANDERSON (w/ TRACI BROOKS) defeated RODERICK STRONG by submissionThe Enforcer survived an intense grudge match against Strong, despite being hit with a barrage of backbreakers. After Traci helped Anderson escape from a pinning predicament, Arn took advantage and went to work on Strong's right shoulder. Anderson dismantled the injured arm with hammerlocks, arm bars, and knee drops before forcing Strong to tap out to a standing arm bar. Following the match, an angry Strong backjumped Anderson on the arena floor! Strong shoved Arn into the steel railing and delivered a stiff kick to the back of his head. Anderson was stunned, and sprang to his feet in a rage. When he spun around, he swung blindly at Strong, but inadvertently clobbered Heather Owens with a clothesline! As Arn stood over the fallen official, Strong beat a hasty retreat back to the locker room. Heather was stunned for a few moments, but a concerned Anderson was able to help her to her feet. Heather returned to the ring on her own power as the Dayton fans applauded.Daytondave: What a gutsy young woman! Nothing is gonna take Heather Owens away from her passion for the sport of wrestling. What a situation between Strong and Anderson! I have no further comment on that issue until I speak with my attorneys. Let's see our triple threat match! TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: WINNER GETS WORLD TITLE MATCH
CHRISTOPHER DANIELS defeated PSICOSIS and SHAWN MICHAELSIn a highly athletic triple-threat contest, all three competitors dazzled the crowd! Daniels worked over Psicosis in the early stages, dropping him twice with the Reverse STO, but Michaels made the save on each occasion. Psicosis repaid Michaels by levelling him with a spinning heel kick leading to a near fall! Not to be outdone, Michaels took out Psicosis with a flying forearm, only to walk right in to a Blue Thunder Bomb by Daniels. With Michaels down, Daniels quickly went to Psicosis and planted him with the Angel's Wings and captured the three-count! After the match, Psicosis offered a handshake to the victorious Daniels. Michaels shunned the competitors and stormed out of the ring area.Daytondave: Congratulations to Christopher Daniels for an exciting victory! I have no idea what's gotten into Shawn Michaels tonight. I guess the frustration has reached its boiling point for HBK. Now, let's head to the main event! MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
BATISTA (w/ MELINA) defeated THE ROCK by disqualificationA donnybrook in Dayton! Rock tore into Batista with reckless abandon as he sought to capture the Midwest Title. But Batista stood his ground, and the two superstars pummelled each other inside the ring and out. With both men weakening, The Rock delivered a thunderous Rock Bottom and Batista appeared to be out of it! But Melina jumped to the ring apron and interrupted the count, leading to a confrontation with referee Heather Owens. Heather EJECTED Melina, who left the ring area in a fury! But the delay accomplished its purpose, as Batista recovered and the match wore on. Batista went to the outside, but The Rock pursued him and the match deteriorated into a full-out brawl! In his frustration, Rock came after the Animal with a steel chair, and Heather called for the disqualification. After the decision, the battle raged on. Batista and Rock continued to pound away at each other as officials streamed out of the locker room in an effort to settle the brawl. Seemingly out of nowhere, SHAWN MICHAELS arrived onto the scene and sucker-punched Batista! Batista went after Michaels, and the fracas continued until RENE GOULET and his Elite Security Forces were summoned to restore order. Finally, Rock and Michaels were escorted back to the locker room, but Batista stormed to the announcers' table and grabbed a microphone.Batista: Rock! I'm not finished with you! I want you at Havoc- in a STEEL CAGE! Michaels- if you ever come near me again, I will break your scrawny little neck! Batista throws down the microphone and storms away from ringside as the show draws to a close.Daytondave: Wow! What a brawl! And there's a rematch coming at Havoc- in a steel cage! No matter what the politics are around the Heartland, the action is always HOT! And now we have Batista and The Rock in a cage at Havoc! You won't want to miss a terrific night of action on Monday night. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Havoc XVII: Showdown of the Contenders Schottenstein Center, Columbus, Ohio May 5, 2008 The show opens in the ballroom of the Schottenstein Center. A black tie reception is being held in celebration of Heartland Havoc. COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE is drinking champagne and chatting with Heartland Heavyweight Champion RIC FLAIR, accompanied by THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS, ARN ANDERSON and TRACI BROOKS. Waitresses circulate through the crowded room carrying trays of champagne and hors d'ouerves. The group is joined by TULLY BLANCHARD as Daytondave addresses the camera.Daytondave: Good evening, fans, and welcome to Heartland Havoc XVII! It's great to be here! Even though I am known as Daytondave, the city of Columbus is my home town and it is always a pleasure to come back to the capital city. We have a great night of action planned for you this evening, including a pair of #1 contenders' matches! The two gentlemen to my left, KIP JAMES and BG JAMES, have a stranglehold on the Heartland Tag Team Titles, but tonight we will choose the team to challenge the James boys for those belts. We'll also see the #1 contenders' match for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship, held by RIC FLAIR. So relax, grab some bubbly, and enjoy the show! Suddenly, the party is interrupted as ROCKY JOHNSON and THE ROCK storm through the doorway in a fierce brawl! Father and son tumble through the crowd, shouting and exchanging punches around the room. The Rock grabs a tray from a nearby waitress, sending pieces of sushi flying. He smacks Rocky across the head with the silver tray, and Johnson collapses to the floor. TONY ATLAS rushes to the scene, but Rock is waiting. Rock catches Atlas charging in, and hip tosses him through an ice sculpture on the table! As Rocky staggers to his feet, The Rock picks up a glass punch bowl and smashes it over his father's head! The crowd shrieks as shards of glass sail around the room. Rock storms out of the party, leaving both Johnson and Atlas stunned on the floor.Daytondave: You have got to be kidding me! Do you believe what The Rock just did? He ruined a perfectly good ice sculpture! Fans, while we restore order here in the ballroom, let's see some action in the ring. NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH(Referee: Brady Boone)TONY ATLAS & ROCKY JOHNSON vs. TEAM TSUNAMI (TAKESHI MORISHIMA & DELIRIOUS)The pre-match attack left Atlas and Johnson weakened, but Tony managed to answer the bell. Morishima took no pity, launching into Atlas with everything in his arsenal. Atlas survived a couple of near falls before Rocky finally made his way to the ring. But Atlas was cut off, and unable to make the tag, and instead rolled out of the ring. Morishima followed, and soon all four men were brawling outside of the ring. Takeshi nailed Atlas with a powerful kick to the head, but Rocky cut him off before he could beat the ten-count back into the ring and both teams were counted out. RESULT: DOUBLE COUNT-OUTBack in the ballroom, the busboys are busily cleaning up the mess from the brawl. The New Age Outlaws toast their good fortune as the #1 contenders' spot to the tag titles remains vacant.Daytondave: That settled nothing! Gotta hand it to Atlas and Johnson just for making it down to ringside after what we saw before the match. We'll put them back in the ring with Team Tsunami for a rematch soon. Kip, BG, enjoy the belts and enjoy the champagne, but don't get TOO comfortable. You never know what might happen in the tag team ranks of the Heartland! Our next match is set for the #1 Contender position for the Heavyweight Title held by this man, THE "NATURE BOY", RIC FLAIR! Nature Boy, what do you think about the upcoming match? Nature Boy is dressed in a black tux with TRACI BROOKS on his arm as he takes the microphone.Flair: WHOOO! Daytondave, my man, you sure know how to throw a great party! The champagne is first class! The food is magnificent! And the appetizers are... (Flair twirls Traci around on his finger and pulls her close) ... appetizing! The Nature Boy isn't worried about Nigel McGuiness or Austin Aries or any other contender in the Heartland. The title belt is where it belongs- around my waist- for a long, looooong time! WHOOO! The Nature Boys is only worried about one thing tonight- why is our Commissioner flying solo? It's a party! It's a shame to see my man Daytondave, stylin' and profilin' in the fine tuxedo, without the company of a lovely lady! What happened to CHRISTY HEMME?Daytondave: Christy has been... reassigned. Flair: Well, ain't that a shame, Daytondave. But life goes on and the party goes on... all night long! (Flair waves his hand to a group standing nearby.) Ladies? Come on over and party with the best-lookin' Commissioner in the NWA! Flair beckons ANGELINA LOVE and VELVET SKY. Both are dressed in short, low-cut black cocktail dresses. The girls each take Daytondave by the arm. Angelina giggles as Velvet feeds Daytondave a strawberry. Flair begins to hoot and dance around the ballroom with Traci. Suddenly, Ric and Traci stop their dance and glare at the entry to the ballroom as RODERICK STRONG enters. Roderick is casually dressed in sandals, blue jeans, and a denim jacket. ARN ANDERSON moves quickly, stepping in front of Flair to confront Strong.Anderson: You've got some nerve showing up here, punk. Why don't you just turn around and walk away, and no one will get hurt. We'll pretend like this never happened. Strong: Gimme a break, Anderson. You don't scare me. You wanna go? Strong pulls off his jacket, revealing his "IN HONOR OF TRADITION" T-shirt. Anderson steps closer, fists clenched. TULLY BLANCHARD puts an arm on Anderson's shoulder to encourage him to hold his temper.Strong: Real tough, Arn. Hiding behind that crippled old partner. Last time I saw you, Blanchard, you were running away from SABU. Blanchard: Why you little prick! Let's settle this tonight! How dare you insult a Horseman! Why don't you go find your boyfriend Sabu and meet us in the ring tonight! Strong: Sabu is his own man. You want a tag match tonight? You got it. I'll have a partner ready and waiting for you. Strong turns and walks out of the ballroom.Daytondave: Well! Another special match tonight! We'll see the return of TULLY BLANCHARD as he teams with ARN ANDERSON to take on RODERICK STRONG and a mystery partner in tag team action! Angelina: Daytondave, Velvet and I just love tag team action! Daytondave blushes.Daytondave: Ahem. I'm sure you do. Fans, we better get back to the ring for our #1 contenders' match. NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH(Referee: Heather Owens)NIGEL McGUINESS vs. AUSTIN ARIESThis match was a hard-fought, straight-ahead, intense battle between two intense competitors at the top of their game. Nigel took the early advantage with a Guvnor's Crumpet, but Aries sidestepped a chrage into the turnbuckle and sent Nigel tumbling to the floor. Aries proceeded to punish McGuiness, working the Rings of Saturn masterfully and nearly inducing a tap-out. But Nigel extended his long leg under the bottom rope and Heather Owens alertly called for the hold to be broken. Nigel slipped out of the ring, but a frustrated Aries followed and smashed McGuiness into the steel railing. The Brit went down in a heap, and Heather was forced to call for the bell. WINNER: NIGEL McGUINESS (DQ)Daytondave: What a brawl! The level of competition here in the Heartland has never been higher. McGuiness looks a little worse for the wear, but he definitely earned the victory tonight and he is now your #1 contender for the Heartland Heavyweight Title! Ric, what do you think about your chances against Nigel McGuiness? Daytondave turns to Flair, who is now on the other side of the ballroom dancing the Samba with Traci Brooks, who holds Flair's bow tie between her teeth. From off screen, two hands come into either side of the picture, stroking the face of Daytondave as he speaks.Daytondave: Anyhow... where were we? Oh, yes. A most interesting development. Heartland Wrestling is welcoming a new color commentator tonight! This man has a wealth of wrestling knowledge and a volume of experience around the sport. Please welcome JR JAMES! JR is in the audience, where he has identified a special celebrity guest at Havoc tonight. Our guest has agreed to be interviewed tonight, so we will take you to JR for this special interview. JR: Thank you Daytondave! It is my privilege to be the newest member of the Heartland broadcast team. Indeed, there is no question. My guest tonight is a fine wrestling promoter in his own right, making his comeback to the NWA. Please welcome ROB BENNETT!Daytondave: What?!? Rob Bennett? What is HE doing here? Who let him in the building?!? Bennett: Calm down, Daytondave. I'm only here tonight as a spectator. JR: Calm down, Daytondave. He's only here tonight as a spectator. Daytondave: What? Me worry? Ha! I put that clown out of business once already. He can run his little hole-in-the-wall promotion up north. He's learned his lesson. So relax, Rob, and watch the show in comfort. You'll learn a few things about how to promote a top-notch wrestling event. JR: Relax, Mr. Bennett, and enjoy the show! Bennett: Oh, I am plenty relaxed. I'm even going to pick up a few souvenirs while I am here. Thanks for the hospitality, kind sir. Daytondave: Now you're talking sense. Better yet, you're talking dollars! More cash coming in at the Souvenir stand. JR, tell us about the next match. JR: Indeed, Daytondave, this next match promises to be a fine confrontation. No question about it! TULLY BLANCHARD is making his return to the ring, alonside his tag team partner ARN ANDERSON to face RODERICK STRONG and a mystery partner. Let's go to the ring! TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATION(Referee: Joe Kopasz)RODERICK STRONG & MYSTERY PARTNER vs. ARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARD (w/ TRACI BROOKS)The Horseman paraded triumphantly to the ring as Blanchard revelled in the cheers of the fans. Once they entered the squared circle, both men turned deadly serious as they watched the entryway. Roderick Strong entered through the curtains, extending his arms to reveal his "IN HONOR OF TRADITION" T-shirt. The tune, "Here Comes The Pain" by Slayer filled the arena, and DAVEY RICHARDS burst onto the platform! Richards wore a matching T-shirt and exchanged a high-five with Strong as the reunited NO REMORSE CORPS hit the ring and jumped on the Horsemen!Anderson and Strong launched into each other from the opening bell. Both men displayed excellent technical abilities and wrestled to a stalemate. The competition grew more intense when Anderson delivered a shoulder breaker and then viciously raked the laces of his boot across the eyes of Strong. Blinded momentarily, Strong tagged in Richards. Davey dazzled both Horsemen with a flurry of kicks. Strong returned to the ring and took control of a weakened Blanchard, pounding him down with a brutal flurry of backbreakers, leaving the tough Texan gasping. But true to Horsemen style, Blanchard made the blind tag to Anderson. Double A caught Strong charging the turnbuckle and drove his shoulder deep into Roderick's abdomen. Anderson followed up quickly with a Gourd Buster, then used the ropes for leverage as he pinned Strong and Joe Kopasz made the three count! After the decision, an angry Strong pounced on Anderson and began pounding on him with both fists. Richards and Blanchard quickly joined in, making it a four-way fracas! As the battle raged, a figure in a hooded sweatshirt emerged from the crowd and joined the fray! The hooded man threw Blanchard out of the ring, then pulled off his sweatshirt to reveal the "IN HONOR OF TRADITION" shirt.JR: ROCKY ROMERO! ROCKY ROMERO! Rocky Romero is here with his partners! With Blanchard down, the three members of the Corps focused on Anderson. Richards brought a steel chair into the ring, then Romero hoisted Anderson into a powerful Tiger Driver, planting him on the chair! Anderson landed hard, holding his head, as the members of the No Remorse Corps laughed and high-fived. Blanchard grabbed a chair of his own and stormed back into the ring, swinging wildly. All three members of the Corps scattered quickly as Blanchard checked on his fallen partner. As the Horsemen staggered out of the ring, the arena went dark! Confusion filled the Schottenstein Center as the tech crew worked feverishly to restore the power. A single spotlight was lit, scanning the arena before locking on a solitary figure in the rafters. SABU appeared with a Horsemen poster, which he torched into flames! Sabu threw the flaming poster to the floor and scurried away before the power was restored.WINNERS: ARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARDThe scene shifts to the back parking lot. A black stretch limo pulls into the entryway. From the front passenger seat, CHRISTY HEMME climbs out of the limo. She is dressed in a modest black business suit and high heels. She wears reading glasses, and her hair is pulled back tightly in a bun. She walks quickly, but awkwardly, to the rear door of the limo. Christy opens the door and COURTENEY COX steps out. Courteney is dressed in an elegant black evening dress, complete with diamond earrings and a string of pearls as Christy helps her out of the limo. Courteney waits at the limo door as a male companion in a tuxedo steps out. The camera pans up to reveal Courteney's escort to be... SHAWN MICHAELS. The Columbus crowd watches in stunned silence as Courteney takes Shawn by the arm and they enter the arena together.Daytondave: Wow... that certainly explains a few things. JR James interrupts from ringside.JR: Daytondave, good news! We have an electrician in the house! The Main Arena power is back on, and we're ready for our next contest! Daytondave: And not a moment too soon. Let's head back to the ring for our next match- a non-title contest featuring the NWA World Heavyweight Champion! SPECIAL FEATURE: NON-TITLE MATCH(Referee: Danny Davis)NWA WORLD CHAMPION BRET HART vs. CHRISTOPHER DANIELSDaniels began the match with a show of respect to the champion, but the intensity level quickly picked up. Daniels knocked Hart out of the ring with a charging high knee, then took to the air and nailed Hart with a soaring plancha! Hart was stunned, but battled back boldly. Hitman reversed a suplex into a backbreaker and caught a near fall, but Daniels kicked out and the match continued. After a series of exchanges, Hart whipped Daniels to the turnbuckle, but Daniels reversed the move and sent Hitman crashing chest-first into the corner. Daniels followed with an awesome running clothesline which planted Hart on the canvas. Without hesitation, Daniels pounced on Hart and performed the Last Rites, then covered him for a three count! WINNER: CHRISTOPHER DANIELSJR: Christopher Daniels wins! Daniels just pinned the World Heavyweight Champion! The scene shifts to the ballroom where Daytondave continues to sip champagne with the ladies.Daytondave: What a match! See, girls, I told you Christopher Daniels could wrestle. Now he's earned a World Title match! Velvet: Maybe so, Daytondave. But I'll bet he doesn't know how to party like we do! Music begins to play as Velvet grabs Daytondave and begins dancing. Angelina, Flair, and Traci join in and begin a Conga line through the ballroom. As the carousing continues, Courteney Cox and Shawn Michaels enter the ballroom, followed by Christy Hemme. Christy appears shocked as she sees Daytondave dancing with Velvet and Angelina. Courteney scowls and calls for the music to be cut off.Courteney: So, Daytondave. This is how you conduct a pay-per-view? Tonight we've seen destruction of property... injuries to wrestlers... tampering with the electrical system... arson... and our esteemed Commissioner drinking and frolicking with these... floosies? We still have a championship match to conduct here this evening, Mr. Commissioner. So I suggest you get out to ringside and get this situation under control. Without a word, Daytondave adjusts his bow tie and leaves the ballroom to head to ringside. Ric Flair takes another sip of champagne and walks slowly around Courteney and Michaels. He ogles Courteney in her evening dress, then stands directly in front of her. Courteney's eyes widen as she looks into the handsome face of the Nature Boy.Flair: WHOOO! Flair smirks as he takes Traci, Angelina, and Velvet and struts away. Kip and BG James walk over to Shawn Michaels, eying him as he accompanies Courteney. BG: Hey, Shawn. What do you say we blow this froggy champagne joint and go get some real American brewskis? Michaels: Not tonight, fellas. Kip and BG look at each other. They look back at Michaels and Courteney. Then they look at each other and burst out laughing! The Outlaws' laughter fills the silent ballroom as they head for the exit. Courteney scowls at the Outlaws, then turns and snaps at Christy.Courteney: Can we PLEASE get back to the wrestling matches? NWA MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: STEEL CAGE MATCH (Referee: Joe Kopasz)BATISTA (c) vs. THE ROCKRock erupted into the cage with fists and fire! The Brahma Bull laid the smack down on Batista, ducking a clothesline and dropping the big man with a Samoan Drop! Rock was relentless, hurling Batista face-first into the cage, then plastering him with the People's Elbow! Before Batista could recover, Rock slammed him to the canvas with a Rock Bottom and pinned him cleanly! WINNER: THE ROCK - NEW MIDWEST CHAMPION!Daytondave: Wow! The Rock just dominated Batista! The Animal has had a stranglehold on the title until tonight. But the Rock put his money where his mouth is, and tonight he took the fight to Batista and came away your new Midwest Heavyweight Champion! Joe Kopasz unlocked the cage door and retrieved the Midwest belt. As Batista departed, Kopasz handed the belt to The Rock. Rock mounted the second turnbuckle and lifted the belt high despite the resounding boos of the crowd. As he celebrated, ROB BENNETT entered the cage! Seeing the rival promoter, Rock hopped down from the turnbuckle and faced off with Bennett. Rock glared at Bennett and raised his trademark eyebrow. Then The Rock and Bennett EMBRACED in the center of the ring! Bennett handed the Rock a T-shirt, which Rock immediately put on: "IN HONOR OF TRADITION." The steel cage protected Rock and Bennett from the flying debris hurled by the angry Schottenstein Center crowd as they continued the celebration.Daytondave: What the - ?? Bennett - you LOSER! I will make you pay for this! A heartland title belt in the possession of a rival promoter. Son, you have gone WAY over the line now and you can better believe there will be hell to pay for this! Fans, my deepest apologies for this abomination. We're finished here tonight, but the Heartland will be back in action very soon! Thank you for joining us for Heartland Havoc XVII. That's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Card #134 E. A. Diddle Arena, Bowling Green, Kentucky May 9, 2008 The show opens with a shot of the outside of the Diddle Arena. A black convertible pulls up, followed by a silver BMW. Out of the convertible steps MONTEL VONTAVIUS PORTER, decked out in a black suit, designer sunglasses, and several gold necklaces. He is accompanied by PACMAN JONES and CHAD JOHNSON. The BMW parks alongside, and ROGER CLEMENS, BARRY BONDS, and KOBE BRYANT join MVP as they stride to the arena together.
The scene shifts to the ring as Daytondave addresses the crowd.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to Friday Night Fury! We are coming back at you, live from the campus of Western Kentucky University, with another exciting night of Heartland action. We are on the heels of an eventful, and often controversial Heartland Havoc XVII. In the main event of that card, we saw THE ROCK capture the Midwest Heavyweight Championship! The trouble is, we haven't seen THE ROCK since then! Rock has donned the colors of Tradition, in spite of the fact that he is contractually obligated to defend that title against BATISTA. We'll have a special interview with the former Midwest Heavyweight Champion later on this evening. Now, let's head to the ring! (Tonight's Referee: Brady Boone)The scene shifts backstage as MVP and friends parade through the hallway. CHRIS HERO exits his locker room, heading to the ring for the opening match. Hero crosses the path of MVP. Porter begins badmouthing Hero, who turns and yells in retaliation. MVP sucker-punches Hero, and all of the entourage starts putting the boots to him! Officials and wrestlers stream out of the locker room and restrain MVP, but the damage has been done. Hero staggers to his feet, wiping blood from his nose, but marching to the ring with determination for his match.CHRIS HERO vs. THE MOUNTIEFollowing the pre-match attack, Hero never got his bearings. Mountie came directly at him with a fist drop, then hurled him out of the ring. Brady Boone frantically tried to fend off the Posse as Hero rolled back into the ring to escape another assault by Pacman Jones. Mountie took advantage, activating the Shock Stick and incapacitating Hero. Boone made it back into the ring, but only in time to count the pinfall on the fallen Hero. WINNER: THE MOUNTIEDaytondave: What a miscarriage of justice! An unprovoked attack on Chris Hero by this group of thugs! There has got to be an explanation for this. Montel Vontavius Porter, you get out here and explain to this audience the reasoning behind your actions! The music "I'm Comin" by Silkk the Shocker plays as MVP struts to the ring, followed by Jones, Johnson, Bryant, Bonds, and Clemens. Scowling at Daytondave, MVP snatches the microphone.MVP: That's right, Daytondave, Mr. Commissioner. You made the call, you offered the contract, you know the skills. MVP is in the house! You want MVP on the scene, you gotta know- MVP only runs with the best. You're lookin' at my boys- the Most Valuable Posse! Ain't no man around here that we afraid of. Ain't no Commissioner we afraid of- not Roger Goodell, not Bud Selig, and for damn sure not you, Daytondave! Clemens: True Dat! Daytondave: Most Valuable Posse? Very cute. You didn't exactly set this place on fire the first time you were here. And just to set the record straight, it was YOUR agent who has been calling me- non-stop, ever since the NWA raised the roster limit. Now explain to me, Mr. Porter, while you still have a job, your actions earlier tonight with regards to Chris Hero. MVP: Chris Hero? Was he the dude back in the hallway? I don't even know that kid. Just a sucka in the wrong place at the wrong time facin down the wrong posse. Clemens: True Dat! Daytondave: Now you listen to me, Porter. You keep your boys out of the way of the wrestling here, or you will be out of a job... again. You aren't even scheduled for your return match until next week. Any more involvement from your boys will earn them a restraining order, I promise you! MVP and the Posse laugh out loud. MVP shoves the microphone back in Daytondave's chest and leads the Posse back to the dressing area.Daytondave: Guess I showed them a thing or two. Let's head back to the ring for our next contest. TEAM TSUNAMI (TAKESHI MORISHIMA & DELIRIOUS) vs. STRIKE FORCE (TITO SANTANA & RICK MARTEL)Strike Force dominated this match from the opening bell! Santana jumped out quickly against Morishima, catching him off the ropes with a small package for a two-count. Before Morishima could get to his feet, Tito nailed him with a flying crossbody block and trapped him in the figure-4! Delirious made the save, but this only allowed Martel to enter the ring and help Tito to blast Morishima with a double-dropkick. Finally, both teams tagged, but Delirious fared no better as Martel put him on the canvas with a shoulder breaker, then caught him with a Boston Crab to earn the submission. WINNERS: STRIKE FORCE(MARTEL over DELIRIOUS via Boston Crab submission)Daytondave: Wow, Brady Boone really has his hands full tonight. Strike Force was everywhere! I've never seen Morishima and Delirious get beaten so convincingly. Now, we have another special match planned as one of the icons of this industry makes his Heartland debut! The scene returns to the backstage area, where NIGEL McGUINESS is heading down the hallway. As he heads toward the entry to the arena, he is met by MVP and the POSSE.MVP: Who the hell are you? Nigel: Who am I? I'm Nigel McGuiness. I happen to be the #1 contender to the Heartland Heavyweight Title. Who are you? MVP: You'll know my name soon enough, punk. The Posse begins circling around Nigel, when they are interrupted by an unseen voice from around the corner.Voice: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait wait wait wait wait! No more of these thug attacks, not here, not now. Not here, not there, not anywhere! The Posse looks around the corner as ROWDY RODDY PIPER saunters onto the scene.Piper: All right, all right, all right already. We get the picture. You're a baaaaaaad dude and you have baaaaaaaad friends. Well I've been a bad dude since before you were born, and I never needed nobody's help to do my fighting! So why don't you and your boyzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz just go back to the parking lot, get back in your fancy sports cars, and go make it rain at the strip club while me and Billy Idol here get acquainted in the ring. Run along now, boyzzzzzzzzzz, I hear that Bowling Green, Kentucky has some of the hottest babes in all of.... Bowling Green! Piper puts his arm around Nigel. The two brush past the Posse and out to the ring together. MVP scratches his head, perplexed, and leads the Posse out of the arena.NIGEL McGUINESS vs. "ROWDY" RODDY PIPERWith his adrenaline surging, McGuiness focused his attention on the battle against his veteran opponent. Nigel took control early, but Roddy caught him with a thumb to the eye to shift the momentum! A low blow from Piper, followed by a vertical suplex, earned a two-count. Nigel fought back, stunning Piper with a European uppercut. Piper staggered to the corner, where McGuiness lined him up for a roaring uppercut, but Roddy pulled Brady Boone into the path of the blow and Boone was stunned. Piper regained the offensive and whipped Nigel to the turnbuckle, but the crafty Brit performed a handstand on the top rope and levelled the charging Piper with a two-footed kick to the chest. Piper was staggered, and McGuiness planted him on the canvas with a quick DDT and scored the pinfall! WINNER: NIGEL McGUINESSDaytondave: That was a close call, but in the end a fine victory for the number one contender! There is a reason why McGuiness was the #1 draft pick in the Heartland, and now he is primed and ready for his shot at the Heartland Title! Things still aren't getting any better for Brady Boone, I am afraid. That was quite a blow he took in that match. But Boone is a professional and I have no doubt that he'll get the job done tonight. HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHTHE TEXAS MAVERICKS (DUSTY RHODES & BARRY WINDHAM) vs. THE FANTASTICS (TOMMY ROGERS & BOBBY FULTON w/ DAFFNEY)The Fantastics put their quickness to good use in the early portion of the match. Rapid tags and slick teamwork enabled the smaller duo to put Rhodes on the defensive. Fulton dazzled the crowd with a series of flying double-ax handle blows, coming at Rhodes from every angle. Finally, Dusty put a stop to the flurry with a bionic elbow and was able to tag Windham. Barry slowed the pace of the match, wearing down both opponents with suplexes and slams. An arena-shaking spinebuster stunned Fulton, and Dusty tagged in to lock on the figure-4. Rogers attempted to interfere, and managed to break the hold before Windham levelled him with a flying clothesline. With Fulton and Rhodes remaining the legal men in the ring, Dusty planted Bobby with a DDT and Brady Boone counted the pin. WINNERS: THE TEXAS MAVERICKS(RHODES pinned FULTON after a DDT)Daytondave: Finally! Fans, we now have officially determined the #1 contenders for the tag team titles. We'll see Rhodes and Windham take on the New Age Outlaws on May 19 at Adrenaline. But what about the Midwest Title? The former champion, BATISTA, is here tonight. But the new champion, THE ROCK, is nowhere to be found! Let's go backstage with JR James for a conversation with Batista. JR James: Thank you, Daytondave. I am here tonight with Batista, the former Midwest Heavyweight Champion. Sir, we haven't seen The Rock since he won the title. What do you planto do now? Batista: Last we saw The Rock, he was cavorting around with that no good sleazebag ROB BENNETT and wearing a Tradition T-shirt. Rock, I've got two words for ya- SO WHAT? You wanna go wrestle in a sleazy barroom for a second-rate promotion? Good luck with that. JR: But what about the title? Indeed, you were a dominant Midwest Champion. Batista: Been there, done that. I have nothing left to prove with that title. It was holding me back! What I really want is to challenge for the big prize- the Heartland Heavyweight Championship. That will be my stepping stone back to another reign as NWA World Heavyweight Champion! JR: No question, that is a lofty goal. A lot of people were surprised the first time you won the belt, and I am confident that BRET HART will be ready for you when you come calling. But first, you have a qualifying match with RANDY ORTON tonight! Batista, thank you for your time and best of luck out there tonight! NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCH BATISTA vs. RANDY ORTONIn a hard-hitting and intense brawl, Batista and Orton seemed determined to rip each other apart! Batista overpowered Orton and slammed him to the mat several times, but Orton kept coming. Action spilled out of the ring repeatedly, and Brady Boone gave both men leeway as they battled. Orton finally caught a break, dodging Batista as the Animal attempted a diving clothesline off the ring apron. With cat-like quickness, Orton slid Batista back into the ring and delivered a scintillating Elevated DDT. Randy alertly hooked the leg, and Boone completed the three-count! WINNER: RANDY ORTONDaytondave: That is impressive. Orton is quick and he is deadly. He survived a tremendous amount of punishment. All he needs is one opening and BANG! He can put anyone down for the count. Even Batista! I suspect the big Animal was distracted and out of focus tonight. He's probably more angry about the Midwest title situation than he let on. We'll have to wait and see how that situation plays out. Fans, it has been a fun-filled night here in the happenin' town of Bowling Green and we do thank you for joining us. We'll be back on Monday night with the next episode of Adrenaline! Our main event will be for the World Heavyweight Championship as BRET HART defends against CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. You won't want to miss it! Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=lowcards&action=display&thread=1160019897

NWA Heartland Card #135 Eastern Kentucky Expo Center, Pikeville, Kentucky May 12, 2008 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE addressing the crowd.Daytondave: Hey fans, welcome to NWA Heartland Monday Night Adrenaline! Daytondave comin' back at ya with another exciting evening of professional wrestling action. It is always an exciting time when the NWA World Heavyweight Champion is in town, and tonight BRET "THE HITMAN" HART is on hand to defend his crown against CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! We have more new talent coming in, and tonight we'll see some more Heartland newcomers in action. But first, we are pleased to present another special exhibition tournament. Over the next several weeks, we will conduct a very special Divas Tag Team tournament, featuring four teams in round robin action. Now, let's head to the ring to get the action started! (Tonight's Referee: Joe Kopasz)DIVA TAG TEAM EXHIBITION TOURNAMENTODB & TRACI BROOKS vs. SARA DEL REY & ALLISON DANGERSara and Allison controlled the early stages of the match, isolating Traci and wearing her down. With Traci in trouble, Sara went to the Royal Butterfly, but ODB broke up the pinfall! All four ladies entered the ring, and ODB dominated the fracas. After making the tag, ODB surprised Sara with a Fallaway Overhead Throw and pinned her cleanly! WINNERS: ODB & TRACI BROOKS(ODB pinned SARA DEL REY)Daytondave: What a great Divas match! I tell you, the ladies put on a great show every time out. Well done! BOBO BRAZIL vs. SHANE DOUGLASDouglas came out very aggressively against Brazil, staggering him with a roundhouse punch and then dropping him with a DDT. Shane then hit the Pittsburgh Plunge, but Bobo kicked out of the pin attempt and rolled out of the ring. With Joe Kopasz distracted, Douglas went to his tights and pulled out a chain, which he wrapped around his fist and pounded across Brazil's head. Kopasz alertly caught the infraction and called for the disqualification. Following the decision, Bobo struck back, laying into Douglas with hard rights and lefts! Douglas stood his ground and the battle intensified. Seemingly from nowhere, LEX LUGER appeared and helped Douglas to double-team Brazil! Brazil fought gamely, but the tide turned against him and he went to the floor. But before Shane and Luger could take advantage, TONY ATLAS and ROCKY JOHNSON stormed out to the ring! With the odds against them, Luger and Douglas quickly beat a retreat back to the locker room. SLICK came to ringside and began dancing in the ring. Rocky joined in the dance, as Atlas grinned and held the ropes open for Bobo. Brazil hesitated, but then climbed between the ropes and did the moonwalk with Rocky and Slick as the crowd hooted!WINNER: BOBO BRAZIL (DQ)Daytondave: How about THAT! Shane Douglas barely sets foot into the Heartland, and controversy follows. With his tag partner long gone, Bobo is very fortunate that Atlas and Johnson were willing to watch his back. Who knew Bobo could could cut a rug like that? BARRY WINDHAM vs. AUSTIN ARIESIn a one-sided encounter, Aries absorbed a lot of punishment but offered little resistance as Windham knocked him around and pinned him after the Sweetwater Superplex. WINNER: BARRY WINDHAMDaytondave: Windham is continuing to climb the ranks of the Heartland. And now, fans, we have another exciting superstar who has just arrived on the scene here in the Heartland! Let's head back to the ring for some more wrestling action. MAGNUM TA vs. TITO SANTANAThe fans cheered wildly for the debut of Magnum TA! This seemed to rile the fiery Santana, who quickly became frustrated when Magnum took the early advantage. But Tito is no pushover, and he surprised TA with a back elbow off the ropes to take control. Santana unleashed a flurry of aerial moves, dropping Magnum with a flying crossbody block and nearly pinning him with a backslide. Magnum slipped out of the ring, but Tito followed, catching Magnum by the back of the neck and slamming him face-first to the steel security rail. The no-nonsense Kopasz called for the bell and awarded the bout to TA. WINNER: MAGNUM TA (DQ)Daytondave: In my opinion, Magnum TA got away lucky in that situation. Dude was getting his head handed to him! Hopefully he'll get his bearings here in the Heartland and we'll see if he is able to live up to the hype. Before our next contest, we have a special interview with TULLY BLANCHARD, who has requested time to discuss the events which occurred at the most recent Havoc pay-per-view. Let's go backstage where JR JAMES is with Tully for this conversation. JR: Thank you, Daytondave. Mr. Blanchard, you have asked for time this evening. What's on your mind? Blanchard: JR James, I can't believe it. That stinkin' weasel RODERICK STRONG and his pals think they got one over on the Horsemen. I DON'T THINK SO! You wanna bring DAVEY RICHARDS and ROCKY ROMERO along for the ride? We got a beatdown waitin' for all y'all- Horseman Style! Romero- since you wanted to show up uninvited and backjump my partner, you get the first beating. I'm callin' you out, Rocky Romero, if you got the guts. Come take a walk on the wild side with Tully Blanchard for a BRASS KNUCKLES MATCH!JR: How about that? Blanchard and Rocky Romero in a brass knuckles match! No question, that match will be a bloodbath! Indeed, I cannot wait to see that confrontation. Now let's head back to the ring and see Blanchard with Anderson in tag team action. THE HORSEMEN (ARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARD w/TRACI BROOKS) vs. ADRIAN ADONIS & DICK MURDOCHWith Anderson still hurting from the attack by the NO REMORSE CORPS, Blanchard carried the load for the Horsemen. Arn was savvy enough to occupy the attention of referee Kopasz just long enough for Tully to clobber Murdoch with a set of brass knuckles and cover him for a surprise pinfall! WINNERS: THE HORSEMEN(BLANCHARD pinned MURDOCH with Brass Knuckles)Daytondave: A little taste of "Horseman Justice" for Murdoch? I suppose it remains to be seen whether Rocky Romero has the guts to take a bullet for Strong and his Corps. But now, the match we have been waiting for- the NWA World Heavyweight Championship! As you may recall, the "Fallen Angel", CHRISTOPHER DANIELS, picked up a non-title victory over BRET HART at Havoc XVII to earn this opportunity. Before we head to the ring, JR James is going to provide us with some footage from that match. JR: Indeed, there is no question, this was a stunning match. Let's take a look! Footage of Daniels' victory plays on the Expotron: Hart whipped Daniels to the turnbuckle, but Daniels reversed the move and sent Hitman crashing chest-first into the corner. Daniels followed with an awesome running clothesline which planted Hart on the canvas. Without hesitation, Daniels pounced on Hart and performed the Last Rites, then covered him for a three count!MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: BRET "THE HITMAN" HART (c) vs. CHRISTOPHER DANIELSThe champ had his hands full with Daniels from the opening bell! The match went back and forth as the momentum shifting from champion to challenger and back. Both men executed crisp technical moves in the ring, and both were more than willing to take the fight to the floor. Referee Kopasz gave both men leeway, even as the action intensified. The battle returned to the ring, where it was the champion who made a crucial mistake, charging at Daniels in the corner of the ring. The Angel sidestepped, and Hitman crashed shoulder-first into the ring post! Daniels alertly took advantage, unleashing his arsenal of high-impact moves on the vulnerable champion. Hart survived the Last Rites, and managed to kick out of the Angel's Wings, but the Hitman was clearly spent. Before Hart could recover, Daniels delivered a soaring Best Moonsault Ever! Kopasz slapped the mat for the 1-2-3, and Daniels emerged as the victor! WINNER: CHRISTOPHER DANIELS - NEW NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION !Daytondave: Do you believe in miracles? History made in Pikeville! Christopher Daniels has upset the Hitman to become the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion! I don't believe what I just saw! Hart is disconsolate in the ring, but he is a class act and he is going to congratulate Daniels as he leaves the ring. An AMAZING run for Daniels to the top of the mountain! Fans, we've had some rough moments here in the Heartland the past few weeks, but a moment like this makes it all worthwhile! This caps off an exciting card here in eastern Kentucky, but as you know, this is the Heartland where the action never ends. We'll be right back to wrestling on Friday night from Hopkinsville, but it will be tough to top what we have seen tonight. But rest assured, the Heartland Heavyweight Championship match between RIC FLAIR and NIGEL McGUINESS will be worth the wait. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Card #136 Convention Center, Hopkinsville, Kentucky May 16, 2008 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE in the ring, alongside the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. Daytondave holds the World Title Belt as he addresses the audience. Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to Friday Night Fury! It's a great night here in the Heartland, and it is my privilege to introduce your NEW NWA World Heavyweight Champion! This superstar has taken a long and determined route to the top of the wrestling profession, which culminated this past Monday night when he defeated BRET "THE HITMAN" HART to win the most coveted prize in the sport. Put your hands together for THE FALLEN ANGEL, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS!The crowd cheers as Daytondave hands the title belt to Daniels. Daniels holds the belt and kisses it, then raises it high overhead. As Daniels celebrates, the music of BRET HART fills the arena. Hart walks to the ring as a hush falls over the crowd. Hart walks to Daniels, embraces him, and raises the champion's hand in the air. Hart then helps Daniels fasten the belt on his waist and the duo leave the ring together.Daytondave: What a show of class by the former champion! You can bet that Daniels has not seen the last of Hart, but tonight is the Angel's night and I admire Hitman for his sportsmanship. Tonight, we have another exciting championship match in store, as NIGEL McGUINESS will challenge RIC FLAIR for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Can Nigel follow in the footsteps of Daniels, and knock of another icon of the sport? Let's head to the ring for tonight's action. (Tonight's Referee: Danny Davis)DIVA TAG TEAM EXHIBITION TOURNAMENT THE MINNESOTA HOME WRECKING CREW (LACEY & RAIN) vs. AMAZING KONG & CHEERLEADER MELISSAThe powerful team of Kong and Melissa was too much for the Crew to handle. Rain took the brunt of the punishment after being isolated in the ring. After Melissa crushed Rain with the Kudo Driver, Lacey came to the rescue and broke up the pin. But as Danny Davis put Lacey out to the apron, Kong slipped into the ring and flattened Rain with a body splash. Rain rolled out of the ring, and Kong followed. It looked like lights out for Rain as Kong charged in, but Rain ducked down and caught Kong in a drop toe hold, sending her crashing to the steel steps! Rain assaulted Kong with both fists, pummeling her as Davis tried to intervene. Rain shoved Davis aside, and soon all four ladies were dusting it up on the floor! Davis was unable to regain control, and called for the bell. After awarding the match to Kong and Melissa, Danny was confronted by an angry Rain, who SLAPPED him across the face! WINNERS: AMAZING KONG & CHEERLEADER MELISSA (DQ)Daytondave: Whoa! Are you kidding me? She slapped the taste right out of that referee's mouth! ( Laughs) That Rain is one spitfire of a gal! And trust me, she packs a wicked slap. Now let's head to the ring for tonight's Heartland action. TOMMY ROGERS (w/ DAFFNEY) vs. MVPMVP tried his best to impress his Posse in his Heartland debut, but Tommy proved to be no pushover. Rogers dazzled the arena with a series of dropkicks, putting MVP on the mat for a Tomakaze and a near fall! With the Posse screaming, MVP fought back. Porter backdropped Rogers over the top rope, but Tommy landed on his feet and appeared to have escaped the predicament until MVP nailed him with a spinning back kick and dropped him to the arena floor! With Daffney shrieking, Tommy barely made it to the ring before the ten-count, but walked right into a Ballin' Elbow. Rogers was out on his feet when MVP delivered the Playmaker and finished off the victory. WINNER: MVPAs MVP and his Posse celebrated, Daffney slid into the ring to check on Tommy. Members of the Posse surrounded Daffney and began whistling and ogling her. Daffney clung tightly to Tommy as she helped him to his feet, and shrieked at members of the Posse as she tried to fend off their harrassment. KOBE BRYANT moved closer to Daffney and whispered something to her. Daffney giggled, and drew Kobe closer to whisper something in return. When Kobe leaned down to Daffney, she shrieked LOUDLY into his ear! Kobe drew back, but not quickly enough, as Daffney reached up and slapped Kobe across the face! The rest of the Posse roared with laughter! Kobe fumed for a moment, until CHAD JOHNSON gave him a friendly nudge. Kobe smirked and left the ring with the Posse as the celebration continued.Daytondave: Another angry dame! I tell you, a guy needs to watch his step around this place! Speaking of dangerous women, our next match will feature SHAWN MICHAELS, who recently seems to have developed a less-than-professional relationship with our own Heartland Championship Committee member, COURTENEY COX. Let's take a look at the Heartbreak Kid in action. The scene shifts backstage, where Michaels and Courteney are seen coming out of the locker room. At the locker room door, MVP and his Posse met the duo. Once again, the Posse began hooting and making passes at Courteney. CHAD JOHNSON sidled up to Courteney and began stroking her hair as the other members of the Posse encircled Michaels. At that moment, the locker room door opened again and an enormous figure emerged. The camera panned upward, into the face of the seven-foot KEVIN NASH. Nash stood menacingly over Chad, who quickly pulled his hand away from Courteney as he looked up.Johnson: Uhhh... what up, big man? Nash: You tell me. Nash folds his arms across his chest and steps between Courteney and Chad. Johnson shrinks back as Kobe and the other members of the Posse chuckle.Johnson: It's cool. Chad coolly offers his fist to Nash for a knuckle-knock. Nash hits the fist sharply, and Chad pulls his hand away quickly. Nash: Yeah, it's cool. Nash joins Michaels and Courteney heading for the ring. Kobe Bryant slaps Johnson on the back and laughs out loud. The rest of the Posse bursts out laughing as they saunter down the hallway and out of the arena.SHAWN MICHAELS (w/ KEVIN NASH & COURTENEY COX) vs. PSICOSISMichaels was joined at ringside by Courteney Cox and Kevin Nash, who sat together in the front row. The Heartbreak Kid came to the ring cocky and sneering, but nearly got beheaded by Psicosis! The masked Mexican clobbered Michaels with a diving hurricanrana, then smashed Shawn with a wheelbarrow facedriver. Michaels was down on the canvas, and Psicosis went to the top rope to finish him! But Kevin Nash reached up and shoved Psicosis to the mat, where he landed awkwardly. Michaels barely had the strength to move, but managed to roll Psicosis into a small package long enough to gain the three-count. WINNER: SHAWN MICHAELSDaytondave: What a sham! Why on earth should a gifted athlete like Psicosis be expected to put up with a situation like this? You would think that the Heartland Championship Committee could show a little more integrity. As Daytondave rants, Courteney stands at her seat and glares at the Commissioner. She points at her eyes with two fingers, then points at Daytondave, before taking Michaels by the arm and leaving the ring area with Nash following closely. The scene shifts backstage, where TONY ATLAS and ROCKY JOHNSON are preparing for a tag team match. BOBO BRAZIL is in the background, listening to his iPod and practicing dance moves. Rocky: Man, can you believe what they did to my boy ROCK? That was over the top. Atlas: I know dat, man. Whatcha gonna do? Rocky: I dunno, man. Bobo- Bobo, cut that out! We got a problem here, Bobo. What are we gonna do? Rocky reaches back and pulls Bobo's headphones off.Bobo: Huh? Rocky: Pay attention, Bobo! What we gonna do about Rock? Bobo: Chill out, man. Check this out- a little summin' summin' I picked up in Michigan! This oughta git the boy's attention! Bobo reaches into his locker and pulls out the Midwest Title Belt.Atlas: Dude! No way! Tell me you didn't steal the Midwest belt! Rocky: Man, what is wrong with you! You stole the belt?!? Gimme that belt! Rocky angrily grabs the Midwest belt from Bobo and smashes it against the wall. He smashes the belt against the floor. Then, he grabs a barbell from the weight rack and begins pounding on the belt. Bits of gold fly around the locker room. As the commotion continues, Courteney Cox, Shawn Michaels, and Kevin Nash arrive on the scene.Courteney: Rocky Wayde Johnson! What on earth are you doing?!? That is Heartland Wrestling property you are destroying! You give me that belt- NOW! Kevin Nash brushes past Rocky and retrieves the belt. He holds it up and looks it over. The belt is bent and chipped, mangled badly after the pounding it took from Rocky. Nash smirks, and hands the belt to Courteney. Without a word, Courteney takes the belt and storms away. Nash and Michaels look at each other, shrug, and follow the clicking heels of Courteney as she strides down the hall.TONY ATLAS & ROCKY JOHNSON (w/ SLICK) vs. KERRY & KEVIN VON ERICHOn the heels of the confrontation with Courteney Cox, Tony and Rocky faced off with the dynamic Texas Von Erich clan. After a closely matched, hard-fought battle, Kerry caught Atlas with the Iron Claw and forced a submission. WINNERS: THE VON ERICHS(Kerry by submission over Atlas with the Iron Claw)Daytondave: An impressive victory for the Von Erichs in their Heartland debut. You have to wonder if Rocky and Atlas haven't lost their focus. The had better get back on track or somebody is gonna get hurt! NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCHDUSTY RHODES vs. TERRY GORDYThe feud between the Mavericks and the Horsemen has been on the back burner, but it didn't take long for the hostilities to erupt between Gordy and Rhodes. After Rhodes hurled Gordy down from the top turnbuckle, the action spilled out of the ring. Gordy drew first blood, smashing Rhodes with a boot to the head and hurling him against the steel ring post. Rhodes went down, but refused to stay down. Big Dust got right back into the face of Gordy and dropped him with a running lariat! Gordy scraped himself off the concrete and immeditely went for a steel chair. Dusty remained fearless, almost walking in to a fierce chair shot from Gordy. Dusty went down again, busted open, as Danny Davis called for the bell. Slowly, Rhodes staggered to his feet, shaking his fists at Gordy as the officials streamed to the ringside to prevent any further fracas. WINNER: DUSTY RHODES (DQ)Daytondave: A big win for Dusty Rhodes! He is now just one match away from a showdown with his old nemesis, RIC FLAIR, for a shot at the Heartland Heavyweight Title! But now, let's see the Nature Boy himself, defending the championship against a formidable opponent in NIGEL McGUINESS.NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP RIC FLAIR (c) vs. NIGEL McGUINESSAfter an early flurry by the fiery challenger, Flair came back and took control of the bout. Nature Boy kicked out of the Tower of London and immediately caught Nigel with a chop block, buckling his left knee. Flair smelled blood, and immediately worked over the injured leg, setting up the figure-4. McGuiness screamed and struggled, finally reaching the bottom rope to break the hold, but the damage had been done. The challenger never recovered from the torturous submission hold, and soon Flair put him down with another chop block, hooked the good leg, and scored a clean pinfall to retain the title. WINNER: RIC FLAIR(Retains Heartland Heavyweight Championship)Daytondave: Congratulations to the Nature Boy! He was at the top of his game tonight! Whether it is McGuiness, Rhodes, Randy Orton, or whoever comes next, it's gonna be a mighty challenge for anyone to take the belt off the waist of Ric Flair. Rhodes is on quite a roll himself, moving up the ranks in both the singles and the tag team division. He and his partner BARRY WINDHAM are in line for a title shot against the NEW AGE OUTLAWS. We'll see that match as our main event this Monday night at Adrenaline. We'll also see the confrontation between TULLY BLANCHARD and ROCKY ROMERO in a Brass Knuckles match which is sure to be brutal. Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!

NWA Heartland Card #137 Luce Center, Asbury, Kentucky May 19, 2008 The show opens with COMMISSIONER DAYTONDAVE in the ring to address the crowd.Daytondave: Hey, fans, welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! NWA Heartland is comin' back at ya with another night of exciting wrestling action, and another championship bout! Here tonight in Asbury, Kentucky, the NEW AGE OUTLAWS will be defending the tag team titles against the TEXAS MAVERICKS- DUSTY RHODES and BARRY WINDHAM! We'll also see another intense grudge match, as TULLY BLANCHARD puts on the Brass Knuckles for a throw-down against ROCKY ROMERO. The heat between the Horsemen and the No Remorse Corps rages hotter than ever, and tonight we'll see another chapter written in that ongoing saga. So relax, kick back and enjoy tonight's matches! (Tonight's referee: Heather Owens)DIVA TAG TEAM EXHIBITION TOURNAMENT CHEERLEADER MELISSA & AMAZING KONG vs. ODB & TRACI BROOKSThe long-awaited showdown between the most powerful diva teams didn't last long. As ODB and Amazing Kong squared off to open the match, RODERICK STRONG dashed to the ring and began shouting at Heather Owens! As Heather confronted Strong, DAVEY RICHARDS slipped in behind Traci Brooks and pulled her off the ring apron! Traci smacked her jaw hard against the side of the ring and went down in a heap. ARN ANDERSON and TERRY GORDY dashed to ringside, and Strong and Richards high-tailed it back to the locker room. Traci remained down on the floor, motionless for several minutes before Arn and Gordy carried her back to the dressing room. WINNERS: ODB & TRACI BROOKS (DQ)Daytondave: Are you kidding me? Those losers from Tradition just came out here and attacked a woman? Fans, this is a very disturbing turn of events. These low-rent beer-hall brawlers will stop at nothing to make a name for themselves- at the expense of the finest promotion in all the NWA. I am shocked at this display of contempt. Let's hope Traci turns out to be okay. Now let's get on to the rest of the show. DICK MURDOCH vs. BLACKJACK MULLIGANAfter a rugged brawl, Murdoch pounded Mulligan into the mat with a piledriver, then pinned him with the patented Brainbuster. WINNER: DICK MURDOCHDaytondave: Nothing like a trip back to the old school to rekindle the fire of a wrestling fan! TONY ATLAS (w/ SLICK) vs. DELIRIOUSAtlas was befuddled by the goofy antics of Delirious, and the big man was largely ineffective in catching his frenetic opponent. After dodging a charge to the turnbuckle, Delirious blasted Atlas with the Shadows Over Hell. Atlas staggered back to the corner, where Delirious followed with 20 clotheslines. Slick tried to distract Delirious, but could not prevent him from locking on Chemical Imbalance #2 to score the pinfall. WINNER: DELIRIOUSDaytondave: It's happened before, and it happens again! Delirious has Atlas' number, without a doubt. I don't think Mr. USA quite has the mental capacity to deal with a crafty fellow like him. KEN PATERA & PAUL ORNDORFF vs. THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ SARA DEL REY)The struggles for the Briscoes continued tonight as Patera single-handedly overpowered both brothers. Mark took the brunt of the punishment, suffering a crushing bear hug. He was nearly out on his feet before Jay made the save, but Patera continued the beatdown on his severely weakened opponent. Sara climbed to the ring apron and began shouting at Heather Owens, prompting Heather to shove Sara to the floor! Patera managed to trap Mark in the Swinging Full Nelson, forcing him to tap out. But Heather didn't see the tapout as Sara grabbed her ankles and pulled her out of the ring! Senior Referee Joe Kopasz sprinted to ringside and separated the brawl. Kopasz threw the match out and declared a no contest. NO CONTESTDaytondave: What a fiasco! That Sara Del Rey is one tough lady, but Heather Owens doesn't take a step back from anybody. It's not the first time in the Heartland that emotions have spilled over the boiling point. It's a tough break for Patera and Orndorff, who looked pretty solid tonight. TAKESHI MORISHIMA vs. LEX LUGERTwo of the most powerful men in the Heartland faced off in a grueling confrontation. Momentum shifted back and forth, with Luger nearly gaining a submission with the torture rack! But Morishima persevered and came back with a flurry. After a combined total of ten fatigue tokens, Morishima caught a weary Luger with the Running Hip Attack to capture the pinfall! WINNER: TAKESHI MORISHIMADaytondave: Wow! Morishima took a lot of punishment from Luger tonight. I am very impressed with the way he responded and came back to win that match. It's been an outstanding night for Team Tsunami! JR James: Daytondave! Daytondave! This is JR James reporting from backstage! A huge brawl has broken out in the locker room! The NO REMORSE CORPS has attacked the Horsemen! We need a camera back here, indeed! A cameraman hustles backstage to catch the action. RODERICK STRONG, ROCKY ROMERO, and DAVEY RICHARDS are slugging it out with ARN ANDERSON, TULLY BLANCHARD, and TERRY GORDY. Chairs, metal bars, and fists are flying all around! Richards flattens Anderson with a stiff kick as Romero and Blanchard duke it out. Gordy is pummeling Roderick Strong. In the background, RIC FLAIR is seen sprinting toward the fracas. From nowhere, a figure steps from a doorway, and levels Flair with a superkick! SHAWN MICHAELS steps into the hallway, smirking as he stands over the fallen Nature Boy. From behind Michaels, KEVIN NASH steps out, holding a baseball bat. Nash moves to the melee and steps behind Terry Gordy and whacks him across the back of the legs! Gordy goes down, and Nash begins wailing away with the ball bat, pounding on Gordy's rib cage. RENE GOULET and his Elite Security Forces finally storm the scene, accompanied by officials and wrestlers. As Michaels, Nash, and the Corps are ushered away, both Flair and Gordy remain down on the floor motionless.JR: Daytondave, no question this is one of the most brutal scenes I have ever witnessed. This is worse than a Saturday night in a Texas honky-tonk! We're gonna need some medical assistance back here, no question about it. But it looks like Tully Blanchard came out of that situation unscathed, and he is determined to go to the ring and take a pound of flesh out of Rocky Romero in tonight's brass knuckles match. BRASS KNUCKLES GRUDGE MATCH: TULLY BLANCHARD vs. ROCKY ROMEROAfter the locker room fracas, Romero and Blanchard were fired up and tore into each other with a fury. Both men went after each other, fists and fire! The quicker Romero used a "stick and move" strategy, keeping Blanchard off balance and scoring blows to the head with the brass knuckles. Blanchard absorbed the punishment and kept coming, trapping Romero in the corner and hammering home a series of agonizing body shots. Romero managed to stun Tully with a forearm shot and slip out of the ring, where the battle continued. Rocky reversed an Irish whip, sending Blanchard careening into the steel railing. When Tully bounced back, Romero met him with a crushing brass knuckle haymaker to the jaw! Blanchard's eyes rolled back in his head and he was out before he hit the ground. Heather laid down the ten-count, but Blanchard never moved as the medics were summoned and the crowd fell silent. WINNER: ROCKY ROMERODaytondave: Unbelievable! The Horsemen are dropping like flies tonight! I've never seen anything like this. We're gonna need ANOTHER ambulance to get Blanchard out of here. This goes deeper than Rocky Romero and the No Remorse Corps. Tully Blanchard has a family and a career and a life outside the ring. You hate to see everything that is sacred being put at risk, but that's the pride and the passion of the wrestling business for you. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Blanchard family. True to the passion of the business, the show will go on. Our main event is next! Let's see the match for the Heartland Tag Team Championship. NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS (c) vs. THE TEXAS MAVERICKS (DUSTY RHODES & BARRY WINDHAM)In a surprisingly one-sided battle, Windham and Rhodes took the fight to the Outlaws. Rhodes came out a house afire, but the James boys tagged in and out frequently to stay fresh. Windham spelled Dusty, working effectively, and levelling Kip with a Flying Lariat for a near fall. BG tagged back into the match, and Windham took over with a series of power moves, setting up Rhodes for a stunning Bionic Elbow. Kip tried to come to the aid of his partner, but Windham cut him off. Dusty slammed BG to the canvas with a Stardust Piledriver, then trapped him with a devastating Figure-4! With Kip battling Windham, there was no escape for BG and he was forced to give it up. WINNERS: TEXAS MAVERICKS NEW HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS(Rhodes over BG James by submission via Figure-4)Daytondave: What a match! Dusty Rhodes is the hottest wrestler in the Heartland right now. He just put down BG James. The Texas Mavericks are your new Heartland Tag Team Champions! That match was a fine ending to what has been an awful night here in Asbury, Kentucky. What on earth are SHAWN MICHAELS and KEVIN NASH up to? Siding with the NO REMORSE CORPS? We have some serious investingating to do around here. Fans, it is with mixed emotions that I must announce that Friday Night Fury will be pre-empted this week. Your humble Commissioner will be hosting a special celebration in honor of the 60th Wedding Anniversary of dear old Mom and Dad! But rest assured, Heartland Wrestling will be back in action next Monday night with an extra special Memorial Day edition of Adrenaline! Until then, fans, that's our show and I AM OUTTA HERE!
