The show opens with THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER performed live by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. VELVET SKY stands on the ring ramp, dressed in a red blazer with a white blouse and a blue skirt. She places her hand over her heart and bows her head as the anthem is played. When the anthem is completed, Velvet points to the sky as the fans cheer wildly.
Velvet: Heartland- Happy Veteran's Day! I am HONORED to respect the contributions of the many great men and women who have bravely served our country for generation after generation. Let's give it up!
The fans rise to their feet and cheer as one as Velvet makes her way down to ringside.
Velvet: All right, fans- it's GO TIME! The kickass chicks of Heartland Ladies' Wrestling have come to Detroit to rock this house. We've got a full night of excitement planned, including TWO title matches! The Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championship will be going down as MERCEDES MARTINEZ & NICOLE SAVOY take on MALIA HOSAKA & JAZZ. And- in the Main Event- NICOLE MATTHEWS is going to defend the Heartland Ladies' Championship against LUFISTO. It's gonna be madness in the Motor City tonight, fans- so let's take care of business!
MS. FRANKIE JAY** pinned JENNACIDE**** with a Swinging Neckbreaker
THE HEX (ALLYSIN KAY* & MARTI BELLE*) defeated THE HALE TWINS (SAGE***** & BRIAR) when Marti pinned Sage after a Backbreaker
DEBBIE MALENKO pinned SAVANNAH EVANS**** after a Suplex Assortment
JACQUELINE pinned MASHA SLAMOVICH** after a Spinning Heel Kick
THE ALLURE (ANGELINA LOVE & MANDY LEON) defeated THE PUNK ROCK PUSSY KATS (ALLIE KAT** & JODI THREAT) by Countout after Angelina wiped out Allie with a Bicycle Kick on the arena floor)
JESSICKA HAVOK** pinned IVELISSE**** with the Havokiller
It was a brutal battle between Ivelisse and Jessicka. Jessicka was in control at the start of the match, but JOANIE LAURER climbed to the ring apron and drilled Jessicka with a forearm shot to the back of the head! Jessicka was stunned, and Ivelisse responded with a flurry of kicks that sent Jessicka tumbling out of the ring. Jessicka and Joanie came face to face on the arena floor and the crowd fell silent.
Velvet: Omigawd! These two amazons are gonna get into it!
Before the two came to blows, referees came from backstage and separated the pair, escorting Joanie back to the locker room. Jessicka was filled with rage, and took her aggression out on Ivelisse, launching a barrage of high-impact moves and pinning Ivelisse with the Havokiller.
HEARTLAND LADIES' TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
MALIA HOSAKA & JAZZ*** defeated MERCEDES MARTINEZ*** & NICOLE SAVOY***** (c) when Jazz pinned Nicole with the Southern Comforticole with Southern Comfort
The ongoing rivalry between these teams continued in Detroit tonight with another terrific battle. The challengers seized an opportunity early in the match, isolating Savoy and wearing her down with assaults by both Malia and Jazz. Mercedes came in to rescue her partner, and Mercedes was able to turn the tide and blister Jazz with a barrage of brutal chops. Jazz and Mercedes wore each other out, but it was Jazz who was able to make the tag to Malia. Malia hit the ring fresh, and battled both the champions. Malia took Nicole down with a Frankensteiner, and tagged in to Jazz who was able to finish the victory with the Southern Comfort into a backslide pin.
Velvet: Wow! Congratulations to Malia and Jazz! They are now Heartland Ladies' Champions for the third time! The future was pretty uncertain for Malia and Jazz until they won the Filsinger Cup to earn one more shot at the titles- and tonight, they took their shot and they regained the titles! A great match by both teams, and great sportsmanship as they are hugging it out after a terrific match. But we're not done yet- it's Main Event time!
MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP:
NICOLE MATTHEWS defeated LUFISTO by disqualification due to Outside Interference
The match had barely begun when IVELISSE arrived at ringside. Almost immediately, Ivelisse pulled Nicole out of the ring and attacked her on the arena floor! Ivelisse and Nicole took to brawling on the arena floor as JOANIE LAURER came to the scene, but officials from back stage raced to ringside to separate the brawl. The referee was forced to call the match a DQ.
After the decision, Nicole rolled back into the ring to escape the fracas on the outside. But out of nowhere, Nicole was attacked by Lufisto! Lufisto clobbered Nicole across the back of the head, sending Nicole tumbling to the mat. PORTIA PEREZ ran to the ring to protect her partner, and Portia and Lufisto brawled all the way back to the locker room.
Velvet: That was crazy! Nicole is getting it from all sides- and she can't catch a break. Lucky that Portia was there to save her tonight! After all of that, Nicole is still the Heartland Ladies' Champion. Lufisto was frustrated and I can't blame her- but Ivelisse just has a knack for stirring up trouble wherever she goes. So nothing was settled here tonight in the Ladies' Championship match. But we did get new Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Champions tonight- how awesome was that! Congratulations to my girls MALIA HOSAKA & JAZZ for making it a memorable night tonight. That's it for tonight, Heartland- thanks for another awesome night of wrestling here in Detroit! Heartland will be back on Wednesday night with another amazing show. The crew from Patriot Championship Wrestling is headed to Montreal for an exciting show.
