EpicDave: Hey, fans! Welcome to Heartland Championship Wrestling! It is a landmark evening for the Heartland tonight, as we celebrate House Show #1300! Since its establishment in 2006, Heartland Championship Wrestling has been across the country and around the world providing the finest in championship wrestling action. When you count the pay-per-views, the supercards, and the HYPE shows, that's nearly 1500 nights of professional wrestling entertainment.

EpicDave: And tonight, we get to celebrate with our friends at the Atlantic Wrestling Federation. The AWF is in the midst of their 2024 tour of the Southeastern Conference, and we are dlighted to be coming from Auburn Univeristy for tonight's broadcast. It's gonna be a fun night! BIG JOHN STUDD is here to defend the Dixie Heavyweight Championship against TERRY GORDY! Plus, we will see a three-way dance for the Number One Contender's Spot for the Atlantic Heavyweight Championship. CURT HENNIG, PAUL ORNDORFF, & ANTONIO INOKI are all in line for a shot at the gold- and it will be every man for himself tonight with a title match as the reward. It's summertime in the Deep South, fans- and the Heartland is bringing the heat. So relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!

MR. FUJI & MR. SAITO defeated THE GUERREROS (EDDIE & CHAVO*) when Fuji pinned Chavo after throwing salt in his eyes


PAT PATTERSON defeated AJ STYLES by countout

It was a rough night for AJ Styles. AJ was squaring off with Patterson in a tense battle when THE MOUNTIE appeared at ringside. Sensing trouble, AJ vaulted over the top rope and caught Mountie with a flying body press! Mountie went down in a heap, dropping his Shock Stick. When AJ picked up the Shock Stick, he accidentally activated it, blasting himself in the chest with a high-voltage shock. AJ collapsed to the floor and was counted out before he could recover.

EpicDave: As they say in the electronics world- "Oops." They just don't say it often.


DAVID & KERRY* VON ERICH defeated THE KINGDOM (MATT TAVEN**** & MIKE BENNETT) when David submitted Taven with the Iron Claw



GRUDGE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
ONE MAN GANG pinned TONY ATLAS** with the 747 Splash

The long-simmering feud between Atlas and Gang came to a head in Alabama. Atlas had no answers for the powerful Gang, as Tony's power game was neutralized. Gang controlled the action, taunting Atlas from start to finish before scoring a decisive win with the 747.


ATLANTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH- TRIPLE THREAT RULES
ANTONIO INOKI* defeated CURT HENNIG** & PAUL ORNDORFF****** when Inoki pinned Hennig with an Enzuigiri

The Triple Threat Match was suspenseful from start to finish. Orndorff took most of the punishment, first at the hands of Hennig, with Inoki picking his spots against both opponents. Hennig appeared to have an opening after catching Orndorff in the Sleeper Hold, but before Orndorff was out, Inoki drilled Hennig with an Enzuigiri and covered Hennig for the win.

EpicDave: What a clutch move by Inoki! He has earned a shot at DUSTY RHODES for the AWF title! But now, fans, we will wrap things up with our feature bout for the Dixie Heavyweight Championship!


MAIN EVENT: DIXIE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
TERRY 'BAMM BAMM' GORDY* pinned BIG JOHN STUDD****** (c) with a Bamm Bamm Slam

BOBBY HEENAN was already in a foul mood after Hennig's loss. Heenan's spirits did not improve as Gordy threw down with another member of the Family with Studd's title on the line. Gordy was the aggressor throughout the match, which only served to aggravate Heenan's frustration. Heenan grabbed a microphone from the announcers' table, and tossed it into the ring. But Gordy was the first to retrieve the microphone, and he slammed it right between the eyes of Studd. Studd was stunned, and Gordy planted Studd with the Bamm Bamm Slam for a clean pin!

TERRY GORDY CAPTURES THE DIXIE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Wow! Fans- we have a new Dixie Heavyweight Champion, right here in the heart of Dixieland! Congratulations to TERRY GORDY for an amazing victory- and it is now Gordy who holds the gold. What an awful night for BOBBY HEENAN here in Auburn, as both his men go down to defeat, and the Dixie title has been lost. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! Both of the major PCW Titles are up for grabs tonight, PLUS we will have a Number One Contender's Match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship as BOBO BRAZIL has come to Philadelphia to battle former world champion 'NATURE BOY' RIC FLAIR for a shot at the gold. And of course, the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network will be on hand to livestream all of tonight's feature match-ups. PATRIOT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP- TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS:
JAY*** & MARK***** BRISCOE defeated THE BRITISH BULLDOGS (DAVEY BOY SMITH & DYNAMITE KID******) to regain the Patriot Tag Team Championship

First Fall: The first fall was tightly contested, with both teams tagging frequently and executing crisp double-teams. After nearly 25 minutes of action, the Briscoes were finally able to take over against Dynamite Kid. Davey Boy intervened, and was briefly able to change the momentum, but Dynamite was sufficiently weakened for Dem Boys to hit a Double Football Tackle on Dynamite for the pin.

Second Fall: After a brief rest, Dynamite came out strong against Mark Briscoe. Davey Boy jumped into the mix, and the Bulldogs planted Mark with a double suplex. Dynamite followed up with a diving head butt which busted Mark open. Jay saved Mark from the pin, but as the referee put Jay out of the ring, the Bulldogs joined forces to drop Mark with the Tower of London to pin Mark and even the match at one fall apiece.

Third Fall: With Mark bleeding and Dynamite still on the verge of exhaustion, the teams battled on. Mark was a warrior in spite of his wound, while Davey Boy tried to keep strong to allow his partner to recuperate. The Bulldogs saw the opportunity to double-team Mark for a finish, but Jay hit the ring and blasted both Bulldogs with a Running Double Clothesline. Davey was propelled out of the ring, and the Briscoes were able to drop Dynamite with a Spike Jay Driller to score the winning pinfall!

MARK AND JAY BRISCOE REGAIN THE PATRIOT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Incredible! That was one of the great tag team matches in Heartland History- and a definite Match of the Year candidate. The Briscoes and the Bulldogs went at it for over 45 minutes! Congratulations to MARK & JAY BRISCOE! They came out on top after a grueling match, and they are once again the Patriot Tag Team Champions! Wow! I am tired just from watching that match- and we have two more huge matches to come!


NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP- #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH:
BOBO BRAZIL (w/DUSTY RHODES) defeated RIC FLAIR******** (w/BOBBY 'THE BRAIN' HEENAN) by submission with a Bear Hug

In a surprisingly one-sided match, Bobo overpowered Flair and dominated the pace of the match from the outset. Bobo racked Flair with a pair of Coco Butts early on, and the Nature Boy never really regained his bearings. In desperation, Bobby Heenan grabbed a microphone off the announcer's table and handed it to Flair, who used the weapon to clock Bobo. Bobo was stunned, but managed to recover and respond with a Big Hammer Punch to the side of Flair's head. Flair staggered around the ring, and dropped facefirst onto the mat. Bobo pulled Flair to his feet and clamped on a Bear Hug. Heenan climbed to the ring apron, but Dusty pulled Heenan back down to the floor. Flair was too weak to escape and was forced to give it up.

EpicDave: What a performance from BOBO BRAZIL! Not to sell the big man short- but I don't think anybody expected Bobo to dominate the match the way he did here tonight. Bobo will move on to face BARRY WINDHAM for the NWA World Championship in July at Freedom Festival 2024! And now, fans- it's time for tonight's Main Event.


MAIN EVENT: PATRIOT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
'RAVISHING' RICK RUDE pinned 'SUPERSTAR' BILLY GRAHAM (c) with the Rude Awakening

In a stunning Main Event, Rick Rude caught a flash pinfall victory! After just a few minutes of action, Graham whipped Rude into the ropes, but Graham dropped his head too soon. Rude clobbered Graham with a knee to the side of the head, and immediately dropped Graham with the Rude Awakening and picked up the three count!

'RAVISHING' RICK RUDE REGAINS THE PATRIOT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Oh, my goodness! Ladies and gentlemen- do you believe that? RICK RUDE has defeated SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM in under five minutes to regain the Patriot Heavyweight Championship. Rude's aggressiveness caught Graham off-guard- and perhaps Graham was overconfident coming into this match. Whatever happened, Graham has tasted defeated and Rick Rude is once again the Patriot Heavyweight Champion. Congratulations to the Ravishing One! All right, fans- we're done here. But true to form, Page let loose with a furious rally and dropped Fargo with a Diamond Cutter, scoring the pin faster than Hart could intervene!

DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE CAPTURES THE LONE STAR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

ATLANTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP- #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH:
LOU THESZ pinned GEORGE TRAGOS* with a Thesz Press

EpicDave: So LOU THESZ has earned a title match for the AWF Heavyweight Championship! He will face the winner of tonight's title match- and he will be a definitely threat to capture the gold.


GRUDGE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
CHAVO GUERRERO, JR. pinned MR. FUJI***** after a Deathjump

After Fuji threw salt in the eyes of Chavo last month, Chavo was itching for revenge. Chavo took control of the pace of the match early on, and it was Chavo who dominated the match and embarrassed Fuji, finally scoring the pin after a perfect cross-body block off the top rope.

After the decision, Chavo was attacked by MR. SAITO! Saito blindsided Chavo and beat the daylights out of Chavo. Before EDDIE GUERRERO could make the save, Saito planted Chavo with a Suplex on the back of his head. Chavo went out cold, and had to be stretchered away from ringside.


ATLANTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
DUSTY RHODES* (c) defeated ANTONIO INOKI****** by submission with the Figure-4 Leglock

The match opened with a show of respect between Rhodes and Inoki, but tensions escalated as the match wore on. A couple of forays to the arena floor led to fisticuffs, and a flurry of open-hand slaps from Inoki that stung the champion. But Dusty battled back, rocking Inoki with a Bionic Elbow that put the challenger down. Rhodes took control, and continued to wear down Inoki until he was able to execute his finisher.

DUSTY RHODES RETAINS THE ATLANTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Congratulations to DUSTY RHODES for retaining the Atlantic Heavyweight Championship! He took control after a tough battle and managed to come out victorious. He has definitely earned his stripes as champion, and tonight in particular. But with LOU THESZ on the horizon- Dusty has some hard times ahead. And now, fans- it's time for tonight's Main Event!


MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP- #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (BOBBY EATON & STAN LANE) defeated JACK & JERRY******* BRISCO when Eaton pinned Jerry with the Veg-O-Matic

In an impressive display of tag team mastery, the Midnights took control of this match at the outset and never let up. After a few minutes of back-and-forth action, the Midnights isolated Jerry Brisco in their own territory, and subjected Jerry to a series of punishing double-teams. Jerry tried desperately to escape, without success, and Jack's attempts at rescuing his brother were thwarted by the alert maneuvering of the Express. Jerry hung on gamely, but eventually fell to defeat when the Midnights flattened him with the Veg-O-Matic.


EpicDave: Fans, that was just a scary good performance by THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS. They just dismantled the former NWA World Tag Team Champions, and now Eaton and Lane and Cornette will be headed to Freedom Festival 2024 for a shot at the World Titles. That big show takes place one week from tonight, and it promises to be terrific! All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! The show opens with the tune, "Poison" by Alice Cooper playing overhead. VELVET SKY enters the arena to the cheers of the crowd. Velvet is dressed in a blue Butler Bulldogs t-shirt and jeans, drawing more support from the locals as she high-fives her way down the aisle to the ring.

Velvet: Heartland- WHAT IS UP!?!?! I am PUMPED to be here! Naptown rocks- and tonight, the kickass chicks of Heartland Ladies' Wrestling are gonna blow the roof off this joint. Our Main Event is gonna be a banger- JORDYNNE GRACE is here to defend the Mistress of Mayhem Championship against TRISH ADORA. Two of the toughest and strongest gals I have ever seen are going to throw down right here tonight in Indianapolis. Let's take care of business!

In a high-stakes match with title implications, Ivelisse brought her "A" game. Ivelisse took the fight to Frankie, but Frankie battled hard to keep the match competitive. Action spilled out of the ring, where Ivelisse bashed Frankie with the ring bell, and the referee called for the disqualification.

After the DQ, Ivelisse continue to pummel Frankie, but JESSICKA HAVOC dashed down to the ring and tackled Ivelisse. Ivelisse and Jessicka brawled around the arena, requiring multiple referees to escort them back to the locker room.

Velvet: What a brawl! The hatred between Ivelisse and Jessicka has been going on for months- and they are going to settle it once and for all this weekend at Freedom Festival 2024- and it's Loser Leaves the Heartland!


VIVIAN* & LUNA VACHON defeated KENZIE PAIGE** & ELLA ENVY when Vivian pinned Kenzie with a Vertical Suplex


MAIN EVENT: MISTRESS OF MAYHEM CHAMPIONSHIP
TRISH ADORA** pinned JORDYNNE GRACE**** (c) with the Lariat Tunman

It was power versus power in the Main Event- and it was a slobberknocker! Jordynne started the match on the attack, but Trish was able to withstand the onslaught and Jordynne couldn't put her away. Trish battled back getting a couple of near falls on Jordynne. Jordynne went for broke, attempting a suicide dive on Trish, but Trish ducked out of the way, causing Jordynne to crash and burn. Jordynne was barely able to make it back to the ring, and when Jordynne re-entered, Trish was ready with the Lariat Tubman which led to the pin.

TRISH ADORA WINS THE MISTRESS OF MAYHEM CHAMPIONSHIP

Velvet: And we have a new Mistress of Mayhem Champion! Congratulations to TRISH ADORA- she rocked it tonight! There aren't many gals who can stand up to the power of JORDYNNE GRACE- but Trish got it done here tonight and now she gets to hold the gold. Way to go, girlfriend!
