A special edition of the Action Hour began with what happened when the Saturday Night Special from the Meadowlands as Bill Apter was in the ring with Nick Bockwinkel. An irate Bockwinkel believed he won the match with Mulligan but was jobbed by bogus, bribed officials. He said that palooka could not last another two minutes with the champ and was willing to prove it. A battered champion joined the referee in the ring calling out the Texan. A bloody, Blackjack raced to ringside an blindsided Bockwinkel! Mulligan landed the CLAW HOLD and the referee "counted three" on a bewildered champion. Blackjack walked back to the dressing room, while a bandage Bobby Heenan assisted Bockwinkel to the locker room. Heenan had the championship belt on his shoulder and was reportedly in tears screaming "non-title, non-title". He was visibly distressed from the turn of events in this impromptu match, albeit unsanction and non-title. This segment is an exclusive to the next Action Hour episode, along with ample footage of the Saturday Night Special.
The opening credits rolled and the announce team of Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura welcomed the home audience to a special Saturday Night Special recap which includes the special announcement of the stipulations of SuperBrawl Main Event between TWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel and Blackjack Mulligan. The recap show was held in the TWF Headquarters and will provide full coverage of what led to the Superbrawl Main event.
Segment one - Included footage of Bockwinkel's first TWF title reign over Bobo Brazil in year one of TWF. Flash forward to how Bockwinkel captured his recent reign as footage from Bockwinkel's Tournament of Champions victory at November Pain. The tournament footage was followed by Bockwinkel's TWF Title win over Andre The Giant at Battle of The Belts. Segment closed with Bockwinkel's title winning interview with Bobby Heenan.
Segment two - Footage from King of the Mountain showing Blackjack Mulligan's dominating win in the Rumble Style match. All of Mulligan's eliminations were shown along with the match-winning elimination of Magnum TA and subsequent handshake. Footage was also shown of Bockwinkel defending against Mil Mascaras during the same event. The King of The Mountain win earned Mulligan a title shot, but Bockwinkel and Heenan were confident that Blackjack posed no threat due their association in the past, but Mulligan expressed his intent to challenge for the title. A livid Heenan vowed payback on Mulligan.
Segment four- Mulligan acted as Special Referee between Bockwinkel and Ted Dibiase. Dibiase earned his title shot by Running the Gauntlet on Action Hour and the TWF appointed Mulligan as Special Referee to keep things on the level. The finish of each fall was shown and the Saturday Night Special main event was next. Footage of the first two falls were shown before the commercial and announcer Gorilla Monsoon promised the final segment of the show will include fall three of the title match along with the special stipulation of the Superbrawl Main Event.
Segment five - The classic final fall of the Saturday Night special was shown including what happened after the cameras stopped rolling. Monsoon sent the broadcast to Bill Apter and TWF Commissioner Bruno Sammartino to announce the Superbrawl main event is a Steel Cage Showdown to a finish. The steel cage is the ultimate score settler and will clear the controversy of what happened during the Saturday Night Special.
Segment six - Brief interviews of Bockwinkel and Mulligan filled the segment and more announcements on the next Action Hour will feature announcement on the other Superbrawl matches scheduled. Show closed from TWF headquarters but the next Action Hour promises to include more excitement as we move towards Superbrawl.

TWF Action Hour
This is it fans, SuperBrawl is almost here as we will rundown the entire card along with a match from Long Island as Koko B. Ware squares off against the Grappler.
A video package played while announcing the SuperBrawl card. The first main event with SuperBrawl features TWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel defending the belt against Blackjack in a STEEL CAGE MATCH!! The 15 foot high cage will keep members if the Heenan Family like Mr. Saito or Bobby Heenan out while keeping the combatants in.
The second main event is a Loser Leaves TWF, taped-fist match to a finish. Heenan Family member Harley Race faces Randy Savage in this match which could impact both careers but Savage is revved up on revenge on the family as the rivalry has escalated the past few months!
TWF official Bruno Sammartino also announced a special match for SuperBrawl as Mexican National Champion Mil Mascaras faces Mr. Saito.
Action Hour returned from a commercial with a match between Mil Mascaras and the mysterious Mr. X as a Superbrawl preview. Mascaras dominated with his agility and aerial tactics and won the match in style with a FLYING BODY PRESS.
Another SuperBrawl video package rolled as Bruno Sammartino announced the TWF Tag-Team Title Match with Triangle Elimination rules as the TWF Champions Stars & Stripes (Patriot & Bagwell) versus Roddy Piper and Bob Orton, JR and the foreign threat of Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. Match continues until only one team remains standing.
A special grudge match is signed as Magnum TA faces "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig. Hennig has ally Larry Zbyszko in his corner while Magnum has recruited Larry Zbyszko's former ally Diamond Dallas Page to second him. Sparks should fly.
The TWF Ladies Championship is on the line as champion Shann-Ra puts the laurels on the line in a special 4-corners elimination match. The challengers are former Champions Sensational Sherri and Mother Superior along with newcomer Rockin' Robin to round out the field.
The announce team Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura promised a special announcement after the commercial break on the last two matches of SuperBrawl, along with a full recap later in the show. Plus a special tv SuperBrawl feature bout will air as promised as Koko B. Ware squares off against the Grappler.
The SuperBrawl video package continued as an exciting light-heavyweight encounter is signed as the pride of Oklahoma Danny Hodge meets second generation grappler Mike Graham.
A special surprise partner tag-team match was announced as the Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal meet Bruiser Brody and Dutch Savage in what promises to be a slam-bang encounter.
The ring action continued as Koko B. Ware upset Jimmy Hart's masked warrior the Grappler. Ware kept Grappler off-balance from the opening bell. Ware hit the masked man with a series of cross-body blocks with the last a sure-pin prevented by a Jimmy Hart distraction. Koko B. Ware shrugged it off and launched a GHOSTBUSTER on the masked man sealing the win. What a way to get ready for SuperBrawl in the Big Apple.
Monsoon and Ventura signed off the Power Hour with another short recap of the SuperBrawl main events and complete card all eminating from New York City's Madison Square Garden. So long from ringside....
TWF Tag-Team Champion The Patriot polished off the manager Eddie Fyne with the PATRIOT SLAM. Fyne subbed for Iron Sheik as he was "injured". This injury did not prevent him from patrolling ringside but Patriot's partner Marcus Bagwell, prevented any hi-jinks. Sheik's partner Nikolai Volkoff was not scheduled for this card as he was attending a personal business matter.
The live crowd was also treated to a special six man contest as Randy Savage, Blackjack Mulligan and Mil Mascaras faced Harley Race, Mr. Saito and Nick Bockwinkel. The match was all over the ring and ringside area and resulted in a no-contest as Savage was choking Race uncontrollably with Bobby Heenan's sequined sport jacket. Mulligan and the referee had to pull the Macho Man off Race but that did not stop the Macho Man from hitting both Heenan and Race with several "knuckle sandwiches" as all six man carried the brawl back to the locker room area.
NOTES: Up next is SUPERBRAWL from the famous Madison Square Garden!!!!!

TWF SUPERBRAWL at Madison Square Garden Part I
Rockin' Robin began the afternoon with a rendition of America The Beautiful. Robin would also have the honor of competing in the opening match as the 4-corners TWF Ladies Championship match lead off the event and the fans were fired up!!
TWF Ladies Championship match, 4-corners rules. Champion Shann-Ra, Sensational Sherri, Mother Superior and Rockin' Robin were announced. The match was fast-paced as each lady displayed their best. The first fall was captured by Shann-Ra over Sherri with a Huntress Claw. This eliminated Sherri.
Rockin' Robin won the second elimination with a BULLDOG on Mother Superior. The crowd was going wild as many fans felt this was Robin's night!
Shann-Ra won the finale with the MACHETE after getting some anxious moments from the energetic challenger. The two surviving ladies received a great ovation as SuperBrawl began with a bang!!
Ally Match: Magnum TA with Diamond Dallas Page over Curt Hennig with Larry Zbyszko, DQ. Magnum used two BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEXES on Curt but Larry Legend would not let the pinfall occur as he got involved on the pin attempt. The referee ended the bout and a mini-brawl ensued between the opponents and their seconds.
Mexican National Champion Mil Mascaras defeated Mr. Saito with Bobby Heenan. International Superstar Mascaras had an early back and forth with the Heenan Family enforcer but caught Saito with a FLYING CROSS BODY for the win on the big stage. The fans went wild for the exciting Mascaras.
Two title matches were next as the TWF Tag-Team Title Match with Triangle Elimination rules was announced.
TWF Champions Stars & Stripes (Patriot & Bagwell) versus Roddy Piper and Bob Orton, JR and the foreign threat of Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (with Eddie Fyne). Match continues until only one team remains standing. Patriot hit the Neckbreaker Drop on Nikolai Volkoff. This took the big Russian by surprise and a quick cradle eliminated Sheik and Volkoff from title contention. The fans were going bezserk. Fyne was heard screaming at Volkoff that there wasn't any preparation on his part. Volkoff pushed Fyne out of his face while Iron Sheik sided with Fyne but was more confused than angry. Fyne and Sheik were left at ringside calming each other while Volkoff walked to the back.
This lead to the second fall and Piper actually began celebrating on the ring apron and jawing with the ringsiders as he likely felt his path to the titles was paved. However, the Rowdy one should have kept his eyes on the ring as Patriot continued his domination and pinned Orton with a picture perfect back elbow. Only the referee's third pat of the mat broke Piper's "celebration" as Stars And Stripes retained the titles! Piper consoled Ace and berated the referee claiming a pull of the trunks and a fast count. Unsure of how Piper could claim anything with his back turned to the action?!?
A brief intermission was announced to allow for the TWF ring crew to assemble the STEEL CAGE...
STEEL CAGE MATCH for TWF Championship as champion Nick Bockwinkel defends against Blackjack Mulligan. These two enemies would settle their differences in the 15-foot high structure with the winner also claiming the TWF Championship. No managers, no interference and no way out. The winner will have to earn their escape.
Bockwinkel bloodied Mulligan with a methodical approach using the cage and ropes to keep Blackjack on the mat. Mulligan rallied to get Bockwinkel in big trouble and looked like he was to walk out after two CLAWHOLDS. However Bockwinkel is a very savvy wrestler and turned the tide using the ropes again to choke the big Texan. Nick also sent him flying into the cage with two consecutive well-placed knees into the giant back of Mulligan. The second knee resulted in Mulligan getting tangled between the ropes and cage allowing for the ultimate opportunist to walk out to retain his title.
Intermission and Part II next...

SUPERBRAWL PART II
The return from intermission began with a surprise as Howard Finkel announced that a special Piper's Pit will begin the post-intermission festivities. A defeated Roddy Piper made his way to the ring as the ring crew laid out a plaid carpet in the ring with three tartan director's chairs. Piper noticeably sat in the higher of the three chairs and called out his guest, the Wrestling News' own Bill Apter. Piper surprisingly began the interview praising Apter's journalistic skills and his ability to root out the story. Piper mentioned this does not surprise him as this ability to root out news is also likely tied to his pale complexion and that Apter reminds him of a starving mole.
This was the perfect sequeway for Piper to return to his taunting, ranting self, mentioning that the referees in the TWF are all on the Patriot's payroll and that the federation is against anything Piper. Roddy's ever-present body guard nodded his approval but The Patriot raced to the ring to defend his victory. Before the TWF Tag-Team Champion could say a word, Piper and Orton attacked him and jammed a chair into the back of his neck. Patriot was obviously injured but was saved from anything more severe by his partner Bagwell. Bagwell was obviously in the shower, as he was covered in suds and was attired in gym shorts with flip-flops. Bagwell chased off Piper and Orton and helped his partner to the back. Something tells us that this is not finished between the two teams.
Light Heavyweights Danny Hodge and Mike Graham returned some steadiness to the evening with their one on one encounter. An exciting, yet brief scientific display wowed the Big Apple crowd with Hodge surprising Graham with his patented Oklahoma Side Roll for the pin.
A special surprise partner tag-team match is next as the Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal with Paul Ellering meet Bruiser Brody and Dutch Savage with Sir Oliver Humperdink. A contrast to the previous light-heavyweight match, this slam-bang match lived up to the hype as all four men rocked each other with some very high impact moves. Saves and distractions were the order of the day as each team exhausted all their options. However, Humperdink was a factor here as he saved Dutch from a near-pin which allowed Savage to tag out and led to Brody cleaning house. A slam on Animal led to a JUMPING KNEE DROP capturing the win for Brody and Dutch.
The second main event was the finale: Loser Leaves TWF match to a finish with Taped Fist Rules. Heenan Family member King Harley Race faces Macho Man Randy Savage. Savage faced Mr. Saito in a Japanese Kendo Stick match and now faces Race in a match suited more to his opponent. This displays Macho Man's willingness to tear up the Heenan Family. As expected, the SuperBrawl finale was a major brawl with Race taking the early measure with the taped fists. Savage was a quick learner using the taped fists with his Ax Handles as each man was busted open while Savage rallied the crowd behind him. Savage continued his onslaught and with a Double Ax Handle, KAYOED the King for the victory.
Savage chased the Brain away while waving bye-bye to a bloodied Race. Savage finished the show with his signature hand gesture but also added a motion around his waist (much like a title belt). The fans went wild as it is apparent TWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel is Macho Man's next Heenan Family Target - WOW!!!.
What a finish to SUPERBRAWL!!!

TWF at Philadelphia
Jimmy Hart led his new tag-team to the ring, who he claims embodies true American ideals of freedom and peace: The Love Brothers.Their return to the TWF had hometown favorite SD Jones tagging with a northeast-based new comer Sal Gee. SD Jones began the match and actually dominated Hartford and Reginald. SD used his patented Philly Shuffle to bewilder one of the brothers and completed the upset with a Power Body Slam for the win!
Hart was livid after the match as he and his new team were thoroughly embarrassed and were obviously looking ahead to a match with the TWF Champions Patriot and Marcus Bagwell rather than focusing on the match in hand.
Challenge Match: Curt Hennig with special advisor Larry Zbyszko def. Diamond Dallas Page, DQ. Page and Hennig got into an extended brawl at ringside with Page using a folding chair to thwart off both of his rivals. Referee only caught Page's use of a weapon and a subsequent interview with Bill Apter challenged Hennig to a best-of-three falls match to raise the stakes in this rivalry.
TWF Tag-Team Champions Patriot and Marcus Bagwell d. Roddy Piper and Ace Orton in two falls. Bagwell and Patriot continue to stymie the competition with their excellent teamwork. Orton was distracted in the first fall as he joined in a skirmish which saw Piper jawing with the announcers. Bagwell laced him with a pinpoint dropkick for a KO three count.
Bagwell and Patriot continued to use their speed in fall two but when Bagwell tried for a dropkick Orton deftly dodged it, but Bagwell was able to tag to Patriot who dominated with an UNCLE SLAM and a PATRIOT MISSILE. Patriot and Bagwell combined for a Double Dropkick for the pinfall as Orton could not avoid this attempt.
Andre The Giant d. Mr. Fuji. Andre dominated the much smaller Fuji and used a reverse piledriver and a crippling Bearhug to gain a short victory for the French Giant.
TWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel (with Bobby Heenan) vs. Randy Savage, best-of-three falls. What a match as this see-saw affair is clearly a match of the year candidate. Bockwinkel fell behind in fall one but used his title belt to waylay Savage, but Randy blocked most of the blow and began to use the belt on Bockwinkel, prompting a DQ loss.
Savage spurned on by Bockwinkel's injury in fall one caught the champion in a ring-shaking body slam. Savage hit the FLYING ELBOW to KO Bockwinkel tying the match at one fall apiece.
Savage looked like he was on his way to the championship in fall three as he dominated Bockwinkel using alternating Axe Handles and FLYING ELBOWS to bloody and groggy the champion. Unfortunately for Savage, the match slipped outside the ring and both men fought over a short chain thrown into the ring by Bobby Heenan. A confused referee called for the bell as the match was entirely out of control at that point. A rematch is an absolute certainty after this nail biter.
Magnum TA d. 2 Cold Scorpio, both men launched into a rough brawl at ringside with Magnum gaining an upper hand and used a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX during re-entry to the ring.
Grudge Match: Former partners Nikolai Volkoff and Iron Sheik battled in this special match with manager Eddie Fyne at ringside. Sheik beat Nikolai Volkoff in a brief match using a vertical suplex. Announcers pointed out that Volkoff's foot was draped over the bottom rope during the pinfall.
Six-Man Brawl: Hawk, Animal and Paul Ellering d. Bruiser Brody, Dutch Savage and Oliver Humperdink. Ellering and Humperdink did not log much ring time during this brawl, but when Humperdink "bravely" tagged in after Brody gained an advantage Ellering took him to task. A Death Jump, DOOMSDAY DEVICE and an Ellering FULL NELSON proved too much for the portly manager.
NOTES: Jimmy Hart was embarrassed with the Love Brothers showing here in Philadelphia. In fact, he terminated all contracts with that duo and announced he is bringing his version of the Midnight Express to the TWF to challenge for the Tag-Titles as Dennis Condrey and Randy Rose look to dominate the tag-team division. Hart's plans for domination were short-lived as TWF Commissioner Bruno Sammartino also announced that another version of the Midnight Express: Jim Cornette's Beautiful Bobby and Sweet Stan may have a say in who receives the next title shot.
Bruno also announced that former champions the Killer Bees will return in a classic scientific encounter to challenge current champions Patriot and Marcus Bagwell. What a coup for the TWF tag-team division as the next major TWF event will feature two special tag-team matches: Hart's Midnight Express faces former champions Jim Cornette's Midnight Express and the scientific tag-team challenge between Champions Bagwell and Patriot versus tag legends the Killer Bees!
Two rematches are certain for the next card from Minneapolis: A Chain Match between former partners Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff and a best-of-three falls match between Curt Hennig and Diamond Dallas Page.
TWF officials will determine the stipulations in the coming weeks on the rematch for the TWF title between champion Nick Bockwinkel and Randy Savage. One can assume the match will keep both men inside the ring and prevent Heenan's interference from factoring in the decision.

Wrestling News Editor in Chief sent a press release of the main event of the next TWF special event from Minneapolis.
The TWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel will defend the title against Randy Savage in a special Northwoods Lumberjack Match. Bockwinkel's manager is allowed at ringside but in a lumberjack capacity. If the Brain chooses to interfere, he will likely incur the consequences as Heenan Family enemies like Andre The Giant and Magnum TA have specifically signed for matches in the Twin Cities to participate as a lumberjack!
Other bouts signed for the same evening:
TWF Tag-Team Champions The Patriot and Marcus Bagwell will face the scientific challenge of TWF tag-team legends the Killer Bees! Fans are wondering how the champions team work will fare against a like-minded team such as the Bees.
Midnight Madness Challenge: Jimmy Hart's "original" Midnight Express of Dennis Condrey and Randy Rose will compete against Jim Cornette's Midnight Express: Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane. Who will come out on top in this encounter?
Russian Chain Match: Nikolai Volkoff faces former partner the Iron Sheik.
Best-Of-Three Falls Challenge Match: Diamond Dallas Page meets Curt Hennig
Also appearing: Andre The Giant vs. Dutch Savage
Magnum TA vs. Sandman
Roddy Piper vs. SD Jones
TWF Commissioner Bruno Sammartino also will appear to make a special announcement regarding the TWF!
See you at ringside!

The Action Hour led off with footage from Philadelphia as the City of Brotherly Love's favorite son, SD Jones led Sal Gee to a tag-team upset of Jimmy Hart's Love Brothers.
This footage was followed by a locker room interview where Jimmy Hart announced the firing of the Love Brothers and heralded the arrival of his new team: The Original Midnight Express of Dennis Condrey and Randy Rose. The segment wrapped up with the TWF Commissioner's announcement of the upcoming Midnight Madness Match between The Original Midnight Express and Jim Cornette's version of Stan Lane and Bobby Eaton.
The Original Midnight Express seek revenge against SD Jones and Sal Gee as Jimmy Hart would love to payback Jones for that embarrassing moment in Philadelphia. The Rose and Condrey edition of the Midnights dominated the match early as SD did not get a chance to tag in. Condrey used a FACE FIRST LEG SWEEP to setup the ROCKET LAUNCHER finish to win the fall. Hart then announced he would like this match to go best-of-three falls to ensure the Midnights win was not a fluke.
SD and Gee agreed and again the Midnights dominated. Condrey and Rose continued their momentum as Sal Gee never tagged in the match and used a ROSE BOMB and a Condrey suplex on SD to Rose's knee to win the match two falls to none.
Diamond Dallas Page faced Unpredictable Johnny Rodz. Page is looking forward to his big best of three falls match against Curt Hennig, but first was the Unpredictable One. Rodz kept pace with DDP early on but missed a Middle Rope Hammer. This miscue left him open to a devastating DIAMOND CUTTER to gain the win. Curt Hennig was a guest announcer with Monsoon and Ventura and while Hennig is known for his gift of gab, he kept words to a minimum as he was apparently focused on scouting his rival.
Bill Apter of the Wrestling News presented a special recap of the recent TWF Championship Match in Philadelphia as Nick Bockwinkel squeezed past Randy Savage in a hard-fought contest. Apter also announced the rematch in Minneapolis under NorthWoods Lumberjack rules.
Nick Bockwinkel and Bobby Heenan then appeared on the Wrestling News set to explain their opposition to the stipulations. Both men launched their objections about Lumberjacks and Heenan even said he does not need to be a Lumberjack to take care of the Macho Man. That was all the opening TWF Commissioner needed as Bruno Sammartino walked on camera and announced that the next edition of the Action Hour will feature Bobby Heenan versus Randy Savage one on one! If Heenan wins in any fashion, he gets to change the stipulation for the TWF Championship match but if he loses, Heenan gets barred from ringside and cannot participate as a Lumberjack!
The Action Hour feature match is a rematch between Too Cold Scorpio and Magnum TA. These two battled in Philadelphia and this match played out much like their earlier match as the action constantly spilled out to ringside. This time, Scorpio got the better of the exchanges and used the Tumbleweed to knock Magnum off-balance. Scorpio hit a MOONSAULT for the win but things got interesting after the match.
Scorpio announced on the house mike that he is always overlooked in the TWF for pretty-boys like Magnum and former partner Marcus Bagwell. Scorpio claimed Bagwell ditched him for some no-talent musclehead like the Patriot.
The Sandman rushed to ringside and assaulted Magnum TA while Scorpio watched in glee. Luckily Diamond Dallas Page made the save wielding a chair along with TWF Tag-Champion Marcus Bagwell to clear the ring. The save allowed Magnum to get to his feet and challenge Sandman to a match as the Action Hour ended...
After the Action Hour, A NO-DQ match occurred between former partners Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. Volkoff dominated with his power to try and get back the loss to the Sheik in Philadelphia. Volkoff used the bear hug early and often to keep Sheik trapped to the mat. Surprisingly, there was not much brawling in this NO-DQ affair but Volkoff used two straight devastating BACKBREAKER DROPS to gain the win. An irate Eddie Fyne angrily slapped the mat in frustration as he has been behind the Sheik since the split.
NOTES: The next edition of the Power Hour will feature Randy Savage versus Bobby Heenan with the stipulations for the Lumberjack match on the line! Jim Cornette's Midnight Express will also see tag-team action as they make their TWF return. Magnum TA will now face Sandman in Minneapolis with his match with Larry Zbyszko pushed to an upcoming edition of the Action Hour. Looks like a busy few weeks for Magnum. Dutch Savage also appears in singles competition next week as he prepares for his match with Andre The Giant.

TWF at Minneapolis Minnesota
Opener - Roddy Piper d. SD Jones Piper dominated the opener and put SD out with his patented sleeper (SD rolled "6" as doubles). Piper's main ally Ace Orton double teamed SD after the bout but TWF officials rushed to the ring before any serious damage was inflicted. SD has asked for a match against Orton at the upcoming Big Baltimore Bash.
Grudge - Magnum TA d. Larry Zbyszko, DQ. Larry's partner-in-crime Curt Hennig interfered when Magnum hit a BELLY TO BELLY. This duo used a spike piledriver but Diamond Dallas Page chased them off with a chair. Page was scheduled to face Hennig later in the evening.
Chain Match - Iron Sheik (with Eddie Fyne) d. Nikolai Volkoff Sheik did not wait for the announcements as he attacked his former partner at the bell with a chain choke. He polished off Volkoff with a sidewinder suplex to gain the quick victory.
TWF Tag-Team Champions Patriot and Marcus Bagwell d. Killer Bees. This one-fall bout was hyped as a scientific encounter and did not disappoint. Each team exchanged holds with Bagwell and Blair in some notable speedy exchanges. The champs gained control over the former champions , as Brunzell fell through the ropes late in the match. However the Bees used all their tricks and deployed MASKED CONFUSION. However, the champs rode out this strategy and Bagwell teamed with Patriot for a double shoulder block to pin Brunzell. The mask and switch trick seemed to fire up the champs, specifically the Masked Patriot.
Three Falls Challenge Match - Diamond Dallas Page d. Curt Hennig. Tensions carried between these two rivals from the earlier match as Larry Zbyszko interfered in the first fall causing a DQ for Curt. Rather than capitalize on the advantage, Hennig used a steel chair in the second fall forcing a DQ and losing the match in two straight falls. A bloodied Page struggled to his feet with the help of his friend Magnum TA. Dallas grabbed the mic and challenged his rivals to a two-on-two bunkhouse match at the Big Baltimore Bash.
Midnight Madness Tag Team Challenge - Jim Cornette's Midnight Express (Eaton & Lane) d. Jimmy Hart's Midnight Express (Condrey & Rose) Cornette's entry dominated throughout the match bloodying Rose unmercifully and neutralizing Condrey. Eaton launched a top rope elbow on his former partner Condrey for the pin (a doubles roll of "6"). Team Cornette continued the beatdown on Team Hart until officials broke it up. Commissioner Bruno Sammartino will make an announcement as he feels the TWF is not big enough for two versions of the Midnight Express!
Bonus - Dutch Savage (with Sir Oliver) d. Andre The Giant, DQ. The rangy brawler held his own against Andre, even if by underhanded tricks with his manager. Dutch used tag ropes and even a chair to choke the French Giant behind the referee's back. Andre fired back though, headbutting Sir Oliver and using the chair against Dutch. The only problem is that Andre did not have a manager to distract the official on its use. Dutch over Andre in a rare loss by the Giant.
TWF Northwoods Lumberjack Championship Match - Champion Nick Bockwinkel (with Bobby Heenan) pinned Randy Savage (with the Huntress). Bockwinkel used the match format to his advantage as the champion had allies such as Heenan, Piper, Ace Orton, Hennig and Zbyszko. Savage had Andre The Giant, Magnum TA, Dallas Page and the Killer Bees as friendly lumberjacks. However, Piper and Heenan stuck their nose in the match repeatedly with Piper slugging Savage with several cheap shots. Bockwinkel used that to his advantage using a series of back suplexes and a wrist-tape assisted SLEEPER to subdue the Macho Man for the pin. When Savage recovered he chased Roddy Piper to the back.
NOTES: TWF officials have announced the card for the Big Bash at Baltimore... Steel Cage Challenge Randy Savage vs. Roddy Piper
Loser Leaves TWF Ladder Match Team Cornette (Eaton & Lane) versus Team Hart (Condrey & Rose), TWF Contract is suspended in a container suspended above ring.
TWF Championship Match Nick Bockwinkel defends against Dutch Savage
TWF Tag-Team Championship Best of Three Falls Rematch Patriot & Bagwell defend against the Killer Bees.
Bunkhouse Match Magnum TA & Dallas Page vs. Curt Hennig and Larry Zbyzko
Grudge Match Ace Orton vs. SD Jones
Bonus Matches Andre The Giant vs. Iron Sheik Hacksaw Duggan vs. Blackjack Mulligan

TWF BIG Baltimore Bash Grudge Match - Ace Orton d. SD Jones SD kept up with Roddy Piper's henchman but fell victim to a kick to the head which Ace capitalized on with a 2nd Rope Powerslam for the win. Again Orton and Piper raised the action after the bell but Randy Savage rushed to SD Jones defense using a tow chain!
Special Challenge - Andre The Giant d. Iron Sheik (with Eddie Fyne), DQ.
The Sheik eluded the French Giant in a stick and move strategy. The wily former multiple titleholder almost made the time limit as he was rocked by several body slams. Eddie Fyne passed the unstable Iranian his flag who used it on the Giant causing a DQ. The Sheik saved face by not getting pinned but he was clearly in trouble before Fyne interfered.
TWF Tag-Team Championship, Three Falls - Champions Patriot and Bagwell d. The Killer Bees two falls to one in a Match of The Year Candidate! A tightly contested first fall saw the Killer Bees switch places after putting on their masks. A KILLER DROPKICK from one of the Bees KO'd Bagwell to end fall one.
The second fall featured a fired-up Patriot taking on both Bees using a Leg Drop to pin Brunzell. Blair and Brunzell tried to doubleteam the champs to begin fall three but Bagwell put on a Patriot mask to confuse the veterans! The fans exploded with this clever strategy and Brunzell bounced for the masked duo pinned by an UNCLE SLAM. The Bees were frustrated but buried the hatchet raising the hands of the champs. All four men walked together from the ring to a standing ovation.
Bunkhouse Hardcore Match - Curt Hennig and Larry Zbyszko d. Magnum TA and DDP Hennig attacked Magnum before the bell, swatting away the ring announcer. The four men brawled everywhere as each team saved their partner from a pair of near falls. Page was saved from a pin, but Hennig used his HENNIG PLEX to pin DDP amidst all the confusion.
Intermission - Fans needed a breather from all the excitement of the two tag team matches.
Bonus Challenge - Blackjack Mulligan d. Hacksaw Jim Duggan Mulligan was fired up for this match and used two quick, forceful body slams to pin the popular Hacksaw. Ringsiders claimed that Mulligan had a handful of tights but the referee did not see any evidence of a foul.
TWF Championship Match - Nick Bockwinkel (with Bobby Heenan) d. Dutch Savage (with Sir Oliver) This match seemed as much Heenan vs. Humperdink as much as Nick vs. Dutch. Nick won the decisive fall with his patented SLEEPER. An upset Sir Oliver helped Dutch to his feet in the corner but then kicked his charge in the back and slamming him into the corner buckle. Oliver hightailed it from ringside as he did not want to see the aftermath once Dutch shook off the fog as the attack was more insult than injury!
Loser Leaves TWF Ladder Match (TWF contract suspended above the ring). Team Hart (Condrey & Rose) d. Team Cornette (Eaton & Lane). Surprising upset in Baltimore as the match was all Team Cornette bloodied Dennis Condrey. Team Hart rallied, bloodying Stan Lane in the process and trapping Eaton on the bottom rope. This allowed Rose to climb the ladder for the victory. Former tag-team champions Eaton & Lane end their return to TWF rings as the Original Midnights reign supreme! Jimmy Hart and his team celebrated in the ring, with some star-spangled dancing girls!
Steel Cage Challenge - Randy Savage d. Roddy Piper Savage had Piper where he wanted him. Match began evenly with each man ramming the other into the walls of the cage. Savage got the better of one exchange, bloodying the Hot Rod. Macho Man took advantage with a dramatic Ax Handle from the cage. This setup two FLYING ELBOWS with the last from the top of the cage! Savage walked over Piper and through the door for the victory. NOTES: The Baltimore crowd was rabid as the action was tremendous. Now for some questions: Did Randy Savage work his way back into contention with this steel cage victory? ...Bagwell and Patriot continue to impress defending the TWF Tag-Team Titles as they have used some unique teamwork to keep the belts...Are the Original Midnight Express next on the defense schedule with their big win in the Ladder Match? ...Blackjack Mulligan returned from his mini-vacation in a big way, what is next for the big Texan?...Dutch Savage is no longer associated with Sir Oliver, but am sure he has some unfinished business with the portly manager. The ending of the TWF Championship match surprised everyone on how easily Dutch fell out of favor with the House of Humperdink.

TWF NOTEBOOK: Upcoming card scheduled for the Heartland of America: Indianapolis, Indiana!
Stars and Stripes will defend their TWF titles against Jimmy Hart's Original Midnight Express. Locker room insiders have noted that Jimmy Hart had to pulled strings to force the Loser Leaves TWF match against Jim Cornette's Express. "The Mouth of The South" needs the titles to get out of the red with his accountants! Hart apparently hired a high-price team of lawyers to force the injunction and eliminate the confusion of the market place between the two versions of the Midnight Express. Skeptics called it the high price of vanity.
TWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel defends against Randy Savage with Andre the Giant as special referee. Savage demanded that the TWF assigns a special referee to prevent Heenan's hijinx. Word is that Bockwinkel and Heenan were livid but said they can overcome this obstacle as the TWF is out to get them. The duo ultimately agreed to the Macho Man's demands.
A big featured grudge match has Magnum TA defending America's honor against the Iron Sheik. DDP will accompany Magnum to keep Sheik's manager Eddie Fyne in check!
Finally, Dutch Savage goes against Humperdink's henchman, Blackjack Mulligan to avenge the embarrassing attack after Dutch lost a recent title challenge. Can he get revenge against the big Texan?
Other matches are in negotiation but Ted Dibiase is planned to have a match against Jim Brunzell. Dibiase was last seen in the TWF as a fan favorite but wanted a match to showcase his scientific skills as he needs something besides a "25-cent slugfest" to keep him interested!
See you at ringside!
