I have yet to check out Chikara, but they have always interested me, and I think this is an awesome idea. I hear their is a best of Chikara video on Vudu, available through the PS3, I think I'm going to check that out. I sent a link about this to Mike Johnson at PWinsider. Maybe it will get some more press for this.

Of course my list doesn't include the CHIKARA alumni I'd love to see get cards. Guys like K.C. "Cloudy"Day and Cheech Hernandez, BLK Out (Joker, Rukus and Sabian), Darkness Crabtree, Hydra, Escorpipn Egipcio and of course the always super popular...Dragon Dragon! This set has made me seriously MTFO!

A few things based off Vidtek's comments:
- The Chikara website roster is not complete as they just redid their website and not all the roster is built out yet.
- No card count established yet, but I would assume it will be close to the general starting number in intro sets.
- I'm sure Swarm has all sorts of good ideas on design stuff for the guys, ie BDK guys have grey backgrounds and card backs.
If the set does well there is always a chance to see more sets and possibly alumni and special guests getting future cards.

A couple of other things I'm curious about if someone in the know is willing to share:
Will the already-released wrestlers in this set get new stats? Or will the be reprints?
Along those same lines, will the "power level" of these cards be rated similar to the other LotF cards?

As long as they fit right in with existing LOW/LOTF cards, I'm in. If it's a stand-alone, or if LOW/LOTF cards only fit in with special modifications, I'll sit this one out.
Still, props to everyone involved. No matter what, it seems like a great project.

Looks great. Not an LOTF player, but can see the brilliance behind this move! Especially if it opens the doors to deals with other feds *coughkaijucoug*!
Big congrats and a hat tip to Tom, Rob, Kris and Todd for their work!

This is really cool news. I would assume that this will take the place of a regular LotF release? At any rate, I think everyone will be super excited for this, and I hope it opens up the door for a color Kaiju set somewhere down the road!

As long as they fit right in with existing LOW/LOTF cards, I'm in. Fans can expect the cards to fit in with the existing LOW/LOTF cards. Will the already-released wrestlers in this set get new stats? Or will the be reprints? No re-prints. All new everything! It's not 100% decided yet but expect there to be around 24 cards. Maybe a couple more if some LE's are included.

I may be in the minority, not sure, but I'd rather the CHIKARA fed be a stand alone set. I'd like to see their former champs and main eventers with championship caliber and main even stats. IMO, Mike Quackenbush would be a beast in CHIKARA, where as in LOTF he's good, but around a lot of others, and in LWF he's low card talent...but in a CHIKARA set, he should have stats the represent his status, IMO.
Regardless, I'll buy and it is a great venture for Filsinger Games to get their foot in a new market. Congrats to all involved and I can't wait to get the set.
