Early thoughts on the 1st insert set

So, what do you guys think? Here's what I'd like to see, based on what I've played so far:

- I don't think a commissioner card is totally necessary as some do, but if there is one, I hope its a Syndicate -related character. I think I'm in the minority here, but I'd like to allow Aegis and Trisis to stay happily retired, have their kid, etc.

-- I really want to see a Blue Steel team, either a new partner for Hustler or (my preference) a tag team, with Hustler going into singles... it could turn into a bit of a cluster **** with what could be a four way feud between Espo and Scorch, Blue Steel, the house of Pain, and Peacemaker.. but I have conifidence that Osk could make something work here.

-- I don't think I like the Six as a team... I'd be happier with an ROC team of Aspin, Lance, and Pendragon, I think.. the ROC is like the FDF of ACE.. it feels wrong without them.

-- The begs the question, what to do with Ventross? I think it would be cool for him to choose one of the Others, and have Nemean choose the other...THAT would be a kick ass feud, IMO. This is, however, different from where I'm going in my own fed, but that's OK.

-- I really like Witchdoctor as a character, but I think he needs either a small upgrade (so he's like at holovid level) or a tag partner.

-- I'm really digging Primeval Destruction... I think a tweak of Hybrid's card to give him a (tag) or two would be in order, to show his growing intelligence and his comfort with Warfare

-- I have no idea where the next step for Godsend and his minions are, but I can't wait to see it

I often wondered how Godsend could still use his SPEAK OF THE DEVIL finisher, as I always thought of that as his "demon power" and now that he's mortal...? I dunno, maybe it's a parlor trick or something, but it just struck me odd that it stayed the same!?

I definitely would like to see a bit of a team shuffle and Witchdoctor could really use a tag partner for certain. I'd like to see Sychophant upgraded personally.

I think Sycophant got a pretty good upgrade as it is... he's got all those add 1's.

It would be interesting for him to supplant Pain Master.. I think he's got some good potential.

I would actually like an announce team more so then a commissioner. I like not knowing who's the actual power behind the fed.

I also agree about the 6, I wish Ventross was his own man, a rogue if you will.

I'd like to see updates to the Angels and the Demons, preferably showing them as more mortals.

A Blue Steel team is needed, I'd love that, *cough*Kris, I'll let you use my bootleg Trayne*cough*.

Anyways, all and all I'm having a lot of fun with aCe but I look forward to the first insert.

An announce team would be fun.... I don't know that we need a card for that though, unless there's gonna some sort of chart on the back that's different from stuff that's happened before.... I'd be happy with just a descrip of the announcers.

I agree with you on the commissioner, actually, but from Osk's previous posts, it sounds like that's a near-definate.

Witchdoctor gets an upgrade and brings in/resurrects some zombies/ ghoulish creatures!!!! I'm in denial about zombies being gone! And don't tell me zombie dreadnaught I'm already planning on him joining witchdoctor in my fed . Maybe Witchdoctor could bring back a zombie rankor???

I think if Rankor was gonna come back, I'd be more up for a Cyborg with Rankor consciousness downloaded in.. heck, he could just take over Flatliner, too.

I can't say I'd mind a zombie or two, that'd be cool.

WOW...it is really early to be thinking about the insert.

Let's see...

I don't think you'll see too much retread. I believe we may finally discover the fate of Nicodemus, or at least some clues to it. I find it interesting that Nicodemus is not mentioned in the gone or missing portion of the 2123 handbook.

I think we'll see a new race arrive. Probably a Commissioner, too.

I'd like to see a new Ravager, maybe Truss (the Producer of the Nemean Show)?

Probably will get a new tag team as well. I don't think we'll see any real significant (stat-wise) characters introduced as the aCe main event scene is already packed.
