Hybrid is going to be very interesting sooner than later I think. Osk has something planend with Witchdoctor, just not sure what that is just yet, but I get the feeling he could actually be an Epoch style character (not the best wrestler, but having a lot of power)

I like the character...since it is unknown as what happened to Zombie Nation maybe he could bring them back (still hoping for zombies). I think he'd be nutty enough to have the zombie's infect him and that would be cool. I agree with Hybrid, since he's 'from Primus' maybe he could do something with Paganax, I think Paganax needs a friend or something for his grumpy butt.

What about Paganax taking Primeval Destruction under his wing so to speak to give them some direction . I am a fan of Paganax and he is somewhat of an anti - hero for me at the moment , as are Primeval Destruction .

I definately think Hybrid's gonna be important soon too... I almost see him as a Hulk-like character.. right now he's still at 'Hulk Smash!' but when he gets to be Grey Hulk, look out

Kris- Will the insert sets have a time associated with them i.e. when the new guys debut? If I play so fast that I'm already in '24, for example, when the set 1 hits, will that cause timing issues?

I asked Kris the same question, and the answer was basically yes. He told me that you could consider if the insert came out in September of this year, that it would be roughly September 2123 in Dimension Y.

*nod* Kris posted somewhere around here that the insert sets would be considered 'real time'.. that is, the ACE universe is +115 years the actual date.
So, technically, All-Centra Entertainment opened it's doors in April.

Some thoughts on Insert Sets in general, not just the very next one coming.
It seems like there are quite a few guys who are 'just there'. I think this is going to sort of be a staple for the new direction of the aCe because if sets are released in real time plus a century, think of how a wrestler debuts in reality.
-They show up and wrestle fellow low carders, gaining some wins and solidifying a character (1st Edition)
-After a few months or weeks, THEN they get a real feud or story (2nd edition)
So as opposed to characters changing storylines every set like in the GWF, it will probably take twice as long for a story to unfold, as in 2 sets opposed to 1.
Also, many people are concerned over the aCe's lack of sci-fi elements and zombies and talk about never wanting Murdok to ever re-appear again. However, it may be years and years worth of insert editions into the future, but I have full confidence that Centra is still in trouble. I don't know how it will happen, and I don't know who will cause it, but I believe another war will indeed break out in the future, bringing back some classic BFC-esque game mechanics. I mean, you don't have a guy named the Soldier of Prophecy running around without something very, very bad for him to fight in the future.
Anyway, just some thoughts on I guess the whole new direction for aCe. I also think that the first Insert may actually come in 2009, though. It just seems to make more sense to me.

I got the new set. I did because of the lack of Sci fi elements in it. The entertainment spin on the fec dnow interests me. I like Esperento, NesKincade, Amazing Mann etc. slo should be fun

Well, you might be a bit disappointed as SciFi is going to start working its way back in (though it will hardly be the only focus)
