Early thoughts on the 1st insert set

I don't think it will be this time, but what do ou guys think of Reckless heading to ACE?

I can't say I like him very much, but he would fit in well, and maybe Osk could make him a little less.. bland.

If Osk indeed gave him something MUCH more, I'd be open to it. But Reckless from the get-go was one of the most boring characters of recent memory. The art was bland, the character was bland.

I'd just as soon the character go away for good. But I suppose given his history with Godsend and crew, if he was made cool and unique, it could work.

I would love that. Reckless has been doing very well for me. 2 or 3 time IP champ, one half of the GWF tag-champs. I could see having Reckless head back home but be sent to the aCe to help out when Godsend eventually gets whatever devious plot he may have in his head moving into full bore. Reckless and Aspin Northstar as a tag-team would be sweet!

I beat Chris in a tournament at Galacticon with Amazing Man (he was using Paganax) and he told me a spoiler which was agreed on before the match. I think he was too confident with Paganax and didn't think he would lose but he lived up to his promise. I can't divulge it now but it is a cool story (AS ALWAYS) and I can't wait to see what happens with it. :-Xsk and A.C.E. RULEZZZZZZ!

What is the possibility that Scuds armor that he found is like a prototype of what Flatliners is or a 'failed updated version'?

Dunno if it's that, but I have a feeling our young hero is going to find that armor is more than it seems.

I hope they DON'T go that route.. that would be a bit too much of a rehash of Flatliner for me.


Also, I feel like Scud's is just pads and protection, not hi-tech gizmo-ness.

The prototype wouldn't have to kill him just enhance them...maybe thats why they wouldn't use it the user still has 'free will' Heck I don't know.

I don't think he'll copy the Flatliner story, but I don't think the armor's just going to be something pointless either.
