SOLITARY CONFINEMENT Ultra Sphere, Herculis
Card#1084
Burning Man pinned Kenji with a sunset flip- Kenji was obviously still thinking of the injury on his partner Azuma (see XPLOSION Card#1083) because he seemed to be distant. Burning Man took advantage of this and used a Burning Face Claw before tossing the Titan off the ropes. Surprisingly, the Omnicron native used a sunset flip and was able to keep Kenji’s shoulder down for the three. (**) The Guardians (Speedster/Blue Dazzler) [DEBUT] won against the Superpowers, after Disciple of Terror was disqualified against Speedster. - The Cygnusian did not know how to react as he was put into two pin situations in the first ten seconds. After Speedster used EYE OF THE HURRICANE, Murtak climbed into the ring and smacked the Speedster with a steel chair. The referee for the bell and awarded the match to the newcomers. (1/2*) **Woman’s Championship Title Match**
Lady Godsend dominated Elina (ch) via. I am Your Superior- The Castillex diva easily tossed around the now former champion with her high impact offense. After several minutes, a bloodied Elina was the recipient of I am Your Superior maneuver and was given the three count. The GWF has a new Woman’s Champion! (****) **Galaxian Tag Team Championship Title Match**
Ascension (ch) retained against Mean Streets, after Skiver was disqualified against Probation.- The Aldebaran team seemed to have a game plan and punished Fist with several brutal moves and even a DOUBLE DISPATCH tag finisher. However, the Aethran managed to tag out to Probation would clear the squared circle. Patch crawled back into the ring to meet an UNCHAINED but before the Mean Street member could be covered for a pin attempt- Skiver entered the ring and gave Probation a low blow to the groin. The referee immediately called for the bell and disqualified the Martial Law team. There is a feeling that the Aethrans aren’t going to let this result go easily. (*1/4) The vidscreen illuminated the arena and the roving vidcam showed Godsend discussing “in case” scenarios (everyone’s guess was ‘in case’ he doesn’t win the main event) with Demon Godsend back on via telecaster back on Neiflheimr. Demon Godsend stated that everything was in place, and he would ensure the correct ritual would be performed. Godsend looked pleased and simply remarked “make it so” as he left for ringside. -SOLITARY CONFINEMENT MATCH-
**Galaxian Championship Title Match**
Endgame outlasted Aethran Overmaster, Double Cross, Euritar, Ghena, Godsend, Helsin, Kill Prey, Perfect Specimen, Shayne (ch), and Totalis.- The pairings were drawn prior to the start of the bout and all the first participants were placed in their perspective cages. The Herculis arena roared as Endgame made his return to the GWF and was placed in the cell that contained Godsend. The bell rang and the five dueling cages erupted into action. In the first cage, Helsin took a beating but countered a REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER with a guillotine choke that had the Aethran pass out rather than tap out. In the second cage, Euritar beat the living daylights out of Perfect Specimen, but the Titan held on to execute the PINACLE OF SUCCESS to advance. In the third construct, Double Cross was victorious after withstanding a GO FOR THE KILL finisher and rolled through a crossbody block to pin Kill Prey. In the fourth cage, to the surprise of everyone- Totalis manhandled Ghena and easily put away the Immortal with the FINAL ROUND. In the final cage, Endgame tossed around Godsend like a ragdoll and used THIS ENDS NOW to end Godsend’s hope of being champion.
With all cages having only one participant, Shayne climbed into the final cell attempting to make history by retaining the championship. The inside walls were lifted, and the six participants came to life. Perfect Specimen made quick work of Double Cross with a Flawless Flying Dropkick. Endgame ended Shayne’s hope after an Impact Event Driver put the Earthling’s shoulders to the mat for three seconds. The Titan continued to impress and execute another PINNACLE OF SUCCESS that ended Double Cross chances. The two Corvusians tangled with the same results- Endgame thrashed Totalis and used a ROLLING FIGURE FOUR to send the Tournament Master packing. The final two combatants, Endgame and Perfect Specimen, circled one another and shook one another’s hand. After several minutes, Endgame would use a Corvus Spinebuster and locked on a ROLLING FIGURE FOUR. The Titan tried to reach the ropes but whenever he would get close to them- Endgame pulled him back into the center of the ring. Finally, Specimen couldn’t bear the pain any longer and tapped out!! On his first return match, Endgame became Galaxian Champion for an eighth time. (****) EPILOGUE: In Godsend’s palace back on Neiflheimr, Demon Godsend watched Oracle start to cast a spell and was amazed as a bluish haze started to flow around the spellcaster. A eerie light began to circulate through the room and Oracle’s voice raised to an almost deafening level. He chanted, “Sto in hoc anulo protectionis et ab eis peto qui potestatem habent ad dominum gloriandum. Admone doppelganger appositum ei et hanc bestiam relege...”
Demon Godsend looked confused and became irate. The Neiflheimr native grabbed Oracle around the waist and lifted him up above his head. Oracle screamed ‘Protege servum tuum’ as he was brought down on Demon Godsend’s knee. A sick sound emanated from Oracle’s back as the spellcaster slumped down onto the ground.
The mysterious mist and lights continued to swirl before slowly subsiding around the now limp husk of Oracle.
Everything went black. |

Great PaPer View... Endgame winning the SOLITARY CONFINEMENT MATCH was epic when you have that many people involved. Of course Ascension won their match! Perfect Specimen has been on a roll lately...he was so close to winning the whole kit and kaboodle...Endgame making his return to win was awesome but left a bad taste in my mouth. Ascension squeezed by Mean Streets... but they outclass almost every other team in the fed atm... The epilogue segment result will lead to something epic- hope I can write it respectably... Thanks for tuning in |
