MOT: Welcome back wrestling fans! The Commissioner of the 'Z' announced this morning that a 16 man single elimination tournament will kick off on this card and conclude on the next broadcast of THURSDAY NIGHT TAKEDOWN to determine the number one contender for Tournament Master's GWFZ Championship title at the GWF's WRESTLEWAR 2008; MARTIAL LAW PaPer View! KRAM: That's right unwashed masses! A tournament to determine who gets beat by the Tournament Master next. Speaking of which, the champion himself will be here to help me spark interest in this broadcast since you are terrible at the mic! MOT: Sure, whatever you say Kram! However, you are right that the GWFZ Champion will be here toward the second half of this broadcast. We also will have an update on Harm's condition before the broadcast is over! KRAM: I am betting that his condition is "Retired". You almost forgot that the main event tonight will be Beer Money facing off against the GWFZ Tag Champions- Headliners for the Tag Team titles! MOT: To be honest, I didn't mention it because the challengers have no chance to win those convented straps from the Headliners after getting shellacked last night by CTA Muscle! Anyway fans, the opening bout is about to begin...GWFZ Contender Tournament Match: MAIN EVENT made quick work of The Legacy: The Paparazzi member easily put the Dorado native out of the tournament after a DDT stunner that set up a Most Valuable Piledriver for a failed pin attempt. After Latasha distracted Legacy, The Main Event locked on the SIGN ON THE LINE for the victory. ( 1/2 *).
GWFZ Contender Tournament Match: RUSH lucked out against Dark Star Creature (by disqualification): The Aethran Cruiserweight kept his undefeated streak alive but the Dark Star Creature pulverized Rush from the opening bell! The Creature used a creature claw, Goldie Locks, MILKY WAY finisher, but the referee called for the Creature's handler to activate the collar after the Plaxibus native used PRIMAL RAGE. According to the GWFZ contract, the beast was disqualified! (*).KRAM: Wow! I wish Latasha would distract my attention with her "feminine charms"! A matter of fact, I have to get lucky with those charms...MOT: Shame on you! Do you ever consider the consequences on others when you make those comments? [Looks at Kram and his alter ego just looks puzzled] KRAM: What do you mean? However, the Creature was robbed and just because he is a heel type the referee won't allow his finisher to be used!?!? That is not fair...MOT: That shock collar is there to prevent everyone around the Dark Star Creature from getting harmed! Speaking of which, it reported a few minutes ago that as a result of his plummeting through the cage floor at the SEPARATION ANXIETY PaPer View that Harm has sustained a bruised vertebrae and will miss a undetermined amount of time here in the GWFZ. Everyone hopes he heals quickly and returns once he is ready to compete. KRAM: Hey..hey...hey...slow down Mot! Do not include me in wishing him a quick return! The fed needs another good guy in the ring like they need a hole in the head! Take your time Harm...you will not be missed! Speaking of not being missed, the next match is about to start...GWFZ Contender Tournament: STRONG won by disqualification against UMAGAPOTAMUS: The Andromedan was dominating against the former GWFZ champion and even had Strong busted open after a Hanging Flying Hippo Head Butt! Umagapotamus continued to pulverize the 'D' resident but failed to break the five count after he began choking Strong with the ropes that surrounded the ring. The referee awarded the match to Strong as a result of a disqualification! (** 1/2).
TIRION TRIPLE THREAT: PYRE & BRYMSTONEdowned Duplos & Malpractice: This match was awesome as all three teams put up a helluva fight! Doctor Payne nearly won the match for Malpractice with the KO TEMPLE CLAW finisher but Gemin would make the save! Gemello almost pinned Leviathan with a small package counter but would be brought down after he would be caught in a LD 50 for the match to end! (***).
GWFZ Contender Tournament: Ares tapped out to Morbid: This contest was the fastest match of the evening as Morbid went for blood quickly after the bell with a Bloody Straight Jacket that sent Ares reeling for cover! Only moments later, Morbid locked on with MORBIDLY CRUEL for the victory. (DUD).[Pyrotechnics erupt in the arena]KRAM: Here he comes Mot...all the unwashed masses should kneel in the GWFZ Champion's presence! The one...the only...Tournament Master!MOT: [Tournament Master gets to the announcing table and arrogantly takes Mot's headphones and puts them on his own] .... TOURNAMENT MASTER Thank you Kram for that warm welcome! And like I said to Commissioner Nexus earlier today, this tournament is a wash without the best professional athlete putting his name in the ring.KRAM: I agree! You have defended the convented GWFZ title against all comers and even some of the GWF talent! [Mot is trying to get the headphones from Kram with no success] Will you stop Mot! No one wants to hear what you're 'holier than thou' comments anyway! Let's take the unwashed masses to the action...TOURNAMENT MASTER: Would be better if I was in the ring but these two non-talented hacks will have to do I guess.GWFZ Contender Tournament: Assassin X outsmarted Sledgend: The match was started off with a quick Blind Side Splash by Sledgend on the masked henchman! The Orion native went for SHATTERING DEVASTATION maneuver but Assassin X countered with a school boy roll up for the upset pin. (*).
Hybernation Domination put away Moral Majority: This match should have been a little closer than it actually was but Sabre was still suffering from an injury from Motor Psycho on the PaPer View SEPARATION ANXIETY! Varsity was brutalized by Xiongmao and even suffered a KOALA CLAW from Cuddly Claw! Varsity had no other choice than to tag out to the vixen and she was pummeled for several minutes and was given the three count after Xiongmao used a Panda Bear Hug. (** 1/2).
GWFZ Contender Tournament: NarcotiK pinned Hegemony: The Maxus wrestler used his power advantage to stymie any offense that Hegemony could muster against him. At the eight minute mark, NarcotiK countered a back suplex with a Adrenaline Shot and used three THE NEEDLE AND THE SPOON finishers to advance to the next round! (* 1/2). The arena's teletron sprang to life...The three images on the screen began to tell the audience that they are the Lost Animal Xchange (or LAX for short) and have come from the streets of Andromeda Prime to send the team of Hybernation Domination at the local veterinarian's office...
The introduced themselves (left to right) as: Skrit, Pouch, and Bandito...and they will be coming to arena near you ... Bandito looked square into the vidcam and declared; " Desean vivo el LAX y los roedores por todas partes!"KRAM: Wow..more Animen in the GWFZ?!? They do however look tough... [Kram breaks out in hysterical laughter]TOURNAMENT MASTER: [While giving Mot a threatening glare] [/b] Exactly Kram! Between the stuff animal cartel we already have in the GWFZ and the three coming soon, I think I need to have my doctor make sure no fleas migrated this way! You're right...how tough can a squirrel, an opossum, or a raccoon be anyways right? KRAM: Well, it depends on whether or not they're storing nuts for winter or not! however, I digress for the moment and want to ask the champ if any of the previous matches have interested you at all?TOURNAMENT MASTER: Ummm...simply put...not really! I am interested to see my brothers in crime-Beer Money's match later! The Headliners have been stinking up the GWFZ Tag Championships for quite awhile now and it is time for a change.Well Kram, it has been been an honor to sit next to you and give my input but I have a rendezvous with someone special."KRAM: I don't want to pry but anyone special?TOURNAMENT MASTER: As much as I would like to say, I cannot exactly go into detail but the next match is about to start and I will tell you during the bout. this way the identity stays secret and the "unwashed masses" won't here who exactly I am meeting with!KRAM: Deal! You heard the champ...the next match is about to start! And before you head out, it has been a pleasure chatting with you tonight!GWFZ Contender Tournament: Ensor outwrestledOVERTIME: This match had a lot of high flying moves that just made the fan's jaws drop in awe! The former Grav ball player nearly garnered the three count after THE CLINCHER but the Martian managed to reach the ropes with his foot in time! Overtime argued with the referee about how he thought he had pinned Ensor! In the meantime, this gave Ensor enough time to recover and use his ERUPTION OF THARSIS to cover the temperamental Titan for the three count. (** 1/2).
GWFZ Contender Tournament: Pride punished Troy Boy:The second member of the Paparazzi team didn't come out with either music or Latasha and just seemed sluggish on this particular evening! The Earthling simply ran circles around the newcomer and would use a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and then finish the first round of the Contenders Tournament with a PRIDE & PREJUDICE maneuver! ( 1/2 *).GWFZ TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TITLEMATCH: BEER MONEY captured the GWFZ Tag Championships from HEADLINERS: Holy crap! this match was THE best match of the evening as beer Money has gone undefeated in the developmental league since getting a team name! The Headliners were simply not as hungry for the gold to stay around their waists and were simply hanging on for dear life for later parts of the match! Both members of Beer Money used their finishers on Darth Brooks as his forehead was well split open before the end of the night and his partner-Grillz didn't fair as well either! Grillz would be the recipient of a HELL's ANGEL and Motor Psycho would tag out to Irish heat for the Irishman to finish the match off with DROPPING HEAT to become the new GWFZ Tag Team champions! (****). The duo of Irish Heat and Motor Psycho embraced and were stunned as the fact they were actually the developmental league's Tag champions! the vidcam showed Darth Brooks on the mat covered in crimson as the broadcast went off the air..." Sweet! Glad to see Beer Money win the tag straps! Werner did an AWESOME job on LAX!!! Sign me up! Hope to see a Strong/Umagapotamus rematch soon, however, I do think the Samoan Hippo Savage will come out on top. Looking forward to the next episode

Card#575"The Deadliest Challenge..." As WRESTLEWAR 2008; MARTIAL LAW draws closer, the sense of urgency to have a spot on the card has becoming greater than ever before! On Card #574, Commissioner Massif announced that a new type of match... the Championship Scramble! The Commissioner announced that the qualifying matches will be held over the next five cards previous to the PaPer View and will begin tonight with Monolith facing off against Swarm! As the pyrotechnics exploded, the Trenton, NJ fans erupted in applause as the televised card began... Phantasy versus She-Devil: These two divas haven't face off against one another since Card #550 and usually put on a good match. Not this time, however, as the Blonde Bombshell simply owned the Canis Major native with several high impact moves! Phantasy put the match to an end after a springboard moonsault, a Double Phantasy, and a SWEET SUICIDE to get the three. Winner; Phantasy (*** 1/2). The Betrayer versus Vidtek: It seemed like no matter what the Betrayer attempted in this match, Vidtek had a counter for him! The Sultan of Swagger member put the CTA-102 native in a Torture Rack and put his shoulders down after a BIG TIME finisher. (* 1/2). CTA MUSCLE versus Jungle Warriors: The 'new and improved' duo of Tanck & Gryt has been on a tear lately with their side feud of the GWFZ's Tag Champions Beer Money and strangely have looked like they are a viable threat to any team! This match was mostly belonged to CTA Muscle except a few offensive maneuvers from Panther Warrior as Gryt (of all people) thumped on the AniMen team and nearly pinned Malkuth with THE BIG FINISH before tagging out to Tanck! The Strongman entered the squared circle and locked on TANCKED submission move to force Malkuth to tap out! After Tanck tossed the Animan to the mat, CTA Muscle told the vidcam that they weren't done with Beer Money and challenge them to put the GWFZ Tag Championships up at the upcoming PaPer View! Winners: CTA Muscle (****). The vidscreen came to life with the Greatest Show on Earth's ring leader (Vin Strutter) with what appeared to be the manager having some dock workers opening up a large wooden box in an abandoned warehouse. "Careful you fools! I have spent nearly my entire fortune to purchase this magnificent machine and if you somehow damage it...I will have to damage you!"
The workers finally managed to get the box open and stepped back in fear...the roving vidcam inched closer to reveal that Vin Strutter had purchased the Transevolver that used to belong to the evil genius Doomsayer back in the early days of the Global Wrestling Federation!
"Alas fools, the new age of the Greatest Show on Earth will finally begin at WRESTLEWAR and my new plan will be unveiled at the PaPer View. Let everyone tremble and cower in the corner as "The Circus of Fear" draws closer..." (Maniacal laughter permeates the warehouse)[glow=red,2,300]**Woman's Championship Title Rematch**[/glow] STRAFE versus Mother Superior: The Aethran diva recaptured the Woman's championship from Mother Superior on the last edition of WILD WEDNESDAY in a one sided bout! The rematch was pretty much the same result as the Gladiator tossed the matriarch of the DWF group around like a rag doll and put the former champion down with a TERMINAL HEIGHT finishing maneuver at the four minute mark. Winner: Strafe (*). [glow=red,2,300]**TITAN DEATH MATCH**[/glow] Sly Drury versus Valour: These two have taken hatred to the next level as Valour was booted from the Outlaw Nation after he broke character and came to the ring to see if Reckless was seriously injured back on card Card#567! Sly Drury stated that his former partner and friend was weak and deserved to put out of wrestling. Valour responded by attacking Sly Drury! The rest is water under the bridge as they say and the GWF will never be the same! Valour extracted a small amount of revenge on the Crime Lord and pulverized his former boss in an extremely brutal matter! when the arena crowd roared as America's Most Wanted stormed down to ringside to assist Drury, Valour blasted Sly with a VIOLENT OUTBURST, waited until the ref slapped the mat three times, and high tailed it out of harms way! After Drury regained his senses, he screamed and said nothing was over yet and that Valour will pay for his past crimes at the PaPer View against a friend of the Nation's or as he is known on the streets-Patch! Winner: Valour (***). [glow=red,2,300] **Intercontinental Championship Titlematch** [/glow] Anivar versus TRICKS: The FDF member has had a string of loses (usually by interference from the Outlaw nation) but has managed to hold onto the Intercontinental Championship! Unfortunately all title reigns must end and the maniacal clown's new look/attitude finally paid off! The match itself was fantastic and easily was the best match of the card with each combatant giving it their all! Anivar nearly gave the revitalized clown his first loss since returning from his suspension but the Sagittarius native grabbed the ropes after he was locked in THE ENFORCER SPEAKS! After a Death by Hanging, Tricks sprayed Anivar with the "newest toy" discovered during the clown's brutal feud against Retribution... COULROPHOBIA and as Anivar writhed in pain, the clown covered him for the three count and become the new Intercontinental Champion! The newly crowned champion left ringside stoking the IC title and mumbling "The Circus of Fear is almost here my shiny new toy." Winner: Tricks (****). The vidscreen once again came to life..."Something I can never have" by Nine Inch nails blared as a cloak figure walked up to the vidcam and stood there for a few moments until the ballad reached it's climax! The figure opened the cloak and it was a woman from what was assuredly Kroll! She calmly spoke only these words..."Strafe, at WRESTLEWAR you will face the Deadliest of the Species and lose not only your title but your soul as well." [glow=red,2,300]**World Tag Team Non-Titlematch**[/glow] Darwin's Legacy versus LEGION OF DOOM:[/u] This match was only a few minutes into the match and it looked as if the Aethran's were going to defeat the current champs but when Nero came in for a pin save after Paralyze used DEATH AFTER DEATH tag finisher on Hadrian, a wild brawl ensued and the ref was having a hard time keeping order. Several minutes passed since the pin save before the referee finally restored order and for his troubles was awarded THE PARALYZER! The Aethran simply told the downed referee to never put his hands on any of the Gladiators ever again and the Legion of Doom simply left ringside leaving the Darwin's Legacy bewildered with what just happened. Winners: Darwin's Legacy (by DQ) (**). [glow=red,2,300]**Championship Scramble Qualifier Match**[/glow] Monolith versus Swarm:The mother of all upsets! The Animan held on after two THE END OF ALL THINGS and a series of painful power moves that made almost everyone convinced that he Big man was going to the Championship Scramble main event at the PaPer View! However, it was not meant to be as Swarm would rally with a flurry of moves including the Bee Keeper Backbreaker, a Swarm Attack, and his finisher of the HORNET'S STING to have a shot at the World Championship!! Winner: Swarm (** 1/2). [Fade to Black]

MOT: Welcome to a very special broadcast of THURSDAY NIGHT TAKEDOWN WRESTLING FANS! Tonight we will continue the Championship Contender Tournament to determine who exactly will face off against Tournament Master for the GWFZ Championship at WRESTLEWAR; MARTIAL LAW. KRAM: Tournament Master should be an announcer every week Mot because he can run circles around your so called "color commentary" and Totalis doesn't sugar coat anything unlike yourself!MOT: Rest assured fans that the events that occurred last broadcast with the 'Z' Champion taking over the commentary will not happen again. As for your behavior Kram, you better wise up or else. KRAM: [Shakes his hand sarcastically] Or else what exactly?!?! You are going to bore the unwashed masses out in broadcast land with commentary that could put down the Dark Star Creature?!?! Keep making empty threats...I know where you sleep after all {censored}!MOT: Umm...whatever! We'll send you to ringside as the opening matches are about to start! Troyboy lucked out against Sledgend: On the last broadcast, many speculated that Troyboy and Main Event were having issues with one another but Latasha squashed that rumor quick as she went on record as saying Troy boy wanted to earn his spot in the singles ranks rather than ride on anyone's coattails. You have to respect that I guess...speaking of respect, Sledgend showed the Earthling that you should focus on the task at hand rather than outside events as he tossed his opponent from pillar to post but couldn't get the Paparazzi member's shoulders anywhere close to the mat! Troyboy would change the momentum quickly and actually would win the match after Sledgend missed a Blind Side Splash out onto the ring floor! Unfortunately for the Orion native, Troyboy was feigning injury and moved out of the way at the last minute causing Sledgend to hit his head on the guard railing. The referee counted out Sledgend and awarded the match to Troyboy. (DUD).
The Legacy outwrestled Hegemony: These two combatants battled back and forth for close to ten minutes as neither could gain the upperhand. At the twelve minute mark, Hegemony attempted a chop block but the former GWFZ Champion countered with a 9th Chamber Torture Rack to garnish the three count. (** 1/2).
UMAGAPOTAMUS put down Dark Star Creature: The Hippo Savage surprised everyone when he interrupted a match with Strong and he has yet to get a victory in the 'Z'! Umagapotamus brutalized Strong (his opponent in the first round) but was disqualified last week after not breaking a choke hold. The Andromedan Hippo faced off against one of the most disqualified wrestler in the developmental fed and these two really took it to one another! After about eight minutes, Umagapotamus used a Running Hippo Butt Bomb and a Super Samoan Drop combination to score the pinfall against the Creature. (* 1/2). Kram:[/b] I really hope I am current on my vaccinations because everytime the Dark Star Creature comes to the ring, the staff has to spray down the surrounding area with bug killer...Mot: [/u] [Rolls eyes] One of these days, you'll get yours... Kram:[/b] If you remember last night, I got mine with a young lady from Newark, NJ...man, she can do wonders with balloons, masking tape, and whipped cream...Mot: Stop it! How many times do I have to apologize to the fans for your shady comments? Kram:[/b]: You never have to apologize for my comments because I speak the gospel! The question should be how many times did you have to apologize to the young lady last night for...how can I say, 'performance anxiety'? They have the little blue pills to assist taking care of business if you know what I mean. [Chuckles] Speaking of blue pills, our first Championship Contender Tournament Match is up next and I can't wait until Latasha does that infamous ring entrance. Championship Contender Tournament Second Round: Main Event lucked out against RUSH: The opening bout of the second round was easily the best of the evening! Both members were undefeated in singles action and both could give the 'Z' Champion a run for his proverbial money but there could only be one winner! The action would spill in and out of the ring for nearly fifteen minutes until Rush went for the win and climbed the top of the turnbuckle for his WHAT A RUSH finisher! The Main Event rolled out of the way at the last possible minute and caused the Aethran Cruiserweight to miss what could have been a match ending move! However you look at it, it was a match ending mistake as Main Event used SIGN ON THE LINE for the duke. (****).
Titan Blitz makes quick work of Malpractice: The team of Scion Nexus and Overtime has reunited for at least this match! However, Scion Nexus was still suffering from having his arm put in a cast from Master Race's post match activities but that is another story! Scion Nexus and Overtime seemed to work well as a team without any ring rust as they pushed around the Malpractice team and only five minutes into the bout-Scion nexus used THE APEX on Doctor Payne to have the referee slap the canvas thrice. (1/2 *).
Championship Contender Match: Morbid forced STRONG to submit:The 'D' native was overpowering the Hardcore wrestler but Morbid waited for that one mistake. At the nine minute mark, Strong tossed his opponent into the ropes and went for a standing dropkick but Morbid countered by grabbing the ropes! After he went for back brain kick, Morbid locked on the MORBIDLY CRUEL submission finisher to have Strong tap out. (*).Mot:[/u] Don't say a word! [Looks at Kram angrily] Kram:[/u] I won't but if I was going to say a word...especially about Latasha's entrance-it would be...yummy! Mot: [Sighs] The former team of Overtime & Scion Nexus looked good together even if Scion has a arm in a cast and they put away the Malpractice duo without even breaking a sweat! Kram: [/u] Not sure about Titan Blitz but when Latasha did the splits...she made me sweat!Mot:[/u] Anyway fans, back to the ring for our next match...Championship Contender Match Assassin X put away NarcotiK: These two, for some strange reason, had come to hate one another and have been embroiled in wars inside of the squared circle. This match, on the other hand, would be all Assassin X as he caught NarcotiK in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker that grounded the Maxus native. After mouthing off to the crowd for a moment or two, the Alaaraian used a CONTRACT KILLING to end the bout. (**).
Moral Majority outwitted Duplos: This match wasn't too exciting as Gemin was being outmaneuvered by Sabre and was the victim of a LIGHTENING SABRE! Sabre tagged out to her partner Varsity and the ring veteran used PCD on Gemin for the easy victory. (*)
Championship Contender Match: Pride won against Ensor: Another bland match! Ensor seemed nonchalant in the bout and was tossed around fairly easy by the former Galaxy's Greatest Tag Team member. After only three minutes, Pride landed a Patriot Missle that would get the three count off of Ensor. (*)Mot: As the Contender Tournament reaches the final four, who do you think has the best chances of winning the #1 Contender's spot Kram? Kram:[/u] It doesn't matter who i think as there is only one so called 'hero' in the final four...so, you know as I do that the heels never face off against one another at a PaPer View. However, I have been informed that the 'Z' Championship will be defended tonight against a Baltimore native.Mot" Awesome! I smell a rat as you are never this agreeable on anything since we were born. Anyway, let's head to the ring for the next match...GWFZ Championship Titlematch: Tournament Master busted up "Baltimore" Bob: The GWFZ announced that no one will ever take the title away from him as no one was even as close to his talent range. He told everyone in the back that if they want to challenge him for the strap on this event then make their way to the ring. As a local wrestler- 'BALTIMORE' BOB made his ring entrance, Totalis pretended to be frightened and when the rookie finally got into the ring...Totalis laid down and begged the guy to pin him and get the bout over. Like many rookies before him, BB was gullible and laid down on top of Totalis to go for the pin but this infuriated the GWFZ Champion! Tournament Master got up and used a Bracket Buster and then executed FINAL ROUND to put away the challenger. (DUD).
Hybernation Domination beat PYRE & BRYMSTONEby disqualification: This match just started to get good as Pyre and Brymstone was putting the Panda through the ringer. however, Symbiote used the illegal entry wound and was caught by the referee. Thus, the referee awarded the bout to Hybernation Domination as a result of a disqualification. (1/2 *).
Championship Contender Tournament Third Round: Main Event pinned Morbid:This was a fantastic match! Both combatants nearly pinned the other on numerous occasions! The match finally occurred after the Main Event used a DDT Stunner on the outside of the ring to cause Morbid to be counted out. (** 1/2).Mot:[/u] I figured something was going on with Tournament Master freely defending the 'Z' Championship! However, Main Event looked awesome in his bout against Morbid and before you say it AGAIN...yes, Latasha is hot looking! Kram: [/u] Hell yeah! Latasha is hot...with that said, my boys are going to beat those loud mouth former champions next...GWFZ Tag Team Championship Titlematch: HEADLINERSregain the straps from BEER MONEY: Beer Money looked impressive this match and was beating the hell out of both members of the Headliners! However just as Motor Psycho was going for his HELL'S ANGEL finisher, Rotunda appeared at ringside! Pyscho turned around to confront her, Grillz tagged out to his partner and the two Headliners used IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES to regain the gold. (****)
Championship Contender Match: Assassin X ko'd Pride: Once again, the Assassin ran circles around his opponent and put Pride out with a springboard roundhouse kick and a CONTRACT KILLING. (DUD).
Championship Contender Tournament Final: Main Eventwill challenge Tournament Master after putting down Assassin X: The finals were kind of disappointing as Assassin X seemed intimidated by Main Event's stature! After only five minutes, Latasha jumped up to the apron to distract the masked assassin from locking on his finisher and this gave Main Event enough time to use SIGN ON THE LINE to become #1 contender! (*).[Fade to black]
