The city of Memphis, Tennessee played host to the summer finale PaPer View and many fans of the Global Wrestling Federation have been looking forward to this super card since the Titlerun Tournament ended more than two months ago! As the opening pyrotechnics subsided, there was a feeling that wrestling history was going to be made on this night…**Hybernation Domination versus
L.A.X.**
The Lost Animal Xchange recently made their presence known on the developmental federation’s
THURSDAY NIGHT TAKEDOWN broadcast from Philadelphia, PA and their in ring debut would be against the Z’s featured team from Andromeda! The PaPer View’s opening bout started with Cuddley Claw and Skrit tangling with one another but Skrit refused to wrestle the Koala after Cuddley Claw fell asleep in the middle of the match! So, Skrit picked Claw up from his mid-match slumber and laid the Koala in front of Xiongmao for the Panda to come into the squared circle! The panda entered the ring only to be met with a Fuzzy Tail Clothesline and a Pound Posse Piledriver before Skrit tagged out to Bandito. The ‘wily raccoon’ quickly executed a text book Nocturnal Neckbreaker and then used his finisher of CRITTER KICK (a version of the scissor kick) for the unlikely win. Winner (s): L.A.X. (*)
These two behemoths have come to hate one another and have been at each other’s throats since the
SEPERATION ANXIETY PaPer View when the Andromedan gave Strong a loss against Hegemony courtesy of a SAMOAN HIPPO SPIKE! After several failed attempts from Commissioner Nexus to have a ‘normal’ bout for these two monsters, it was announced this contest would be a First blood Match! The action in this hardcore bout spilled in and out of the ring for nearly ten minutes with neither gaining the upper hand until the ‘D’ native missed a turnbuckle charge and was leveled with a Super Samoan Drop! It was all over except for the details after that as Umagapotamus went for the kill and used almost every high impact move in his arsenal before causing Strong to gush blood from his mouth after a SAMOAN HIPPO SPIKE for the match to end. Winner: Umagapotamus (****).
This match was originally scheduled to be a GWFZ Tag Championship match but after Rotunda (CTA Muscle’s valet) interfered in Beer Money’s rematch against the Headliners on the last broadcast of
THURSDAY NIGHT TAKEDOWN causing the duo of Motor Psycho and Irish Heat to lose the straps! The ‘Z’ Commissioner announced that since the match was already signed, IF CTA Muscle defeated their hated rivals they would be granted a GWFZ Tag Team Championship bout against the current champions, the Headliners! When the bell finally sounded, Beer Money was manhandled pretty easily by the strongmen and Gryt executed a textbook Double Agony on Irish Heat that the Earthling and tagged out to his partner Tanck. The CTA-102 native clamped on the Iron Man Vise before using TANCKED! As Irish Heat began to submit, Motor Psycho ran into the ring for a pin save but was stopped short by a running clothesline courtesy of Gryt! The referee called for the bell, awarded the bout to CTA Muscle but Rotunda clopped into the ring and climbed to the top of the turnbuckle to execute THE FAT LADY SINGS on Heat before the three left ringside. As the Irishman peeled himself off the canvas, he gave a smile and stated something to the extent of he liked the way the ‘big boned diva’ tasted. Winner: CTA Muscle (* ½).
**MAIN EVENT versus Tournament Master(c) **
**GWFZ Championship Title Match** The Tournament Master has been dominant in his title defenses against all comers and more than a fair share of challengers have ended up out of the lime light for a period of time (in particular, Harm ruptured his vertebrae as a result of being thrown through the steel cage during a ‘Tower of London’ match and a Baltimore Local under card bum named “Baltimore” Bob was the nice recipient of a concussion after a FINAL ROUND finisher). The challenger, Main Event (usually wrestling as a member of the Paparazzi team) earned the right to face Tournament master after working his way through the Championship Contender Tournament as he defeated The Legacy, the ‘Aethran Cruiserweight’ Rush, and Morbid! Sadly for Latasha, she would have to wait for her protégé to have championship gold around his waist as Tournament Master put the quick beat down on the challenger in mere moments! The Corvus native used several high impact moves such as a spine buster, the Masterful Moonsault, and ended the title match with a Bracket Buster! Winner: Tournament Master (1/2 *).
This match, like many of the contests between the divas, was a fantastic display of all the talent in the Women’s division! The match was started by Shann Ra and Sultana as the two divas seemed to know exactly what the other was going to attempt and countered accordingly! After nearly thirteen minutes (and several tags on both sides), She-Devil was downed with Nikki’s Fall from Heaven and the Second Realm native locked on the GOTHIC NIGHTMARE to give her team the victory! Winners: Nightmare Nikki & Sultana (****).
The arena’s lights began to dim and the vidscreen sprang to life… “in the GWFZ, a champion has taken all comers and proved that he is the best that the developmental federation has to offer. However, a new challenge will now be on his route to immortality…a match that will have six cages joined together with only the center cage totally empty. In the other five cages, two combatants will battle in one another until only one challenger is in each steel cages…the challenger will be left in the cage as other battles rage on until each of the five cages are filled with one challenger…then the GWFZ Champion makes his entrance into the empty cage and the inner walls will be removed! Only one shall escape the cage…only one shall hold the ‘Z’ Championship…coming soon New Orleans, LA…SOLITARY CONFINEMENT PaPer View!”The Headliners since winning the ‘Z’ Tag Championships from Moral Majority in the early days of the developmental fed has been
THE team to beat and besides a bad match against Beer Money have been nearly unstoppable. The challengers, CTA Muscle, has been on an undefeated streak since Gryt has spent quality time in the gym and changed the image of the team. This had promise of an “Irresistible Force meets an Immovable Object” type match ;but as usual, it was all one sided! The bout started with Grillz and Gryt tangling for a couple of minutes before Grillz landed a WHAT??? on the CTA-102 native but Tanck broke up the pin attempt! In the process of the referee tried to get Tanck back into the correct corner, Rotunda whacked Darth Brooks with her purse aka “over stuffed picnic basket” and must’ve been a side of beef in the bag because Darth brooks was knocked cold! Gryt tagged out to Tanck and the two performed THE BIG FINISH but Grillz managed to break up the pin attempt! Tanck picked up the unconscious Darth Brooks and locked on TANCKED for the referee to stop the bout due to Brooks unable to continue. Winner (and new GWFZ Tag champs): CTA Muscle (****).
The newest diva to the Global Wrestling Federation, Deadliest of the Species, challenged the Aethran on SATURDAY NIGHT XPLOSION (Card#575) to defend the Woman’s Championship on this PaPer View! Strafe accepted her challenge, and then proceeded to belittle the Kroll after she lost to Rotunda stating that the Kroll better eat her Wheaties if she wants to put the title around her waist. The challenger came out like a woman possessed and scored several near pinfalls against Strafe but the champion fought back. After Deadliest of the Species missed a flying body press, Strafe used TERMINAL HEIGHT to keep the challenger’s losing streak intact. Winner: Strafe (** ½).
With the break up of “The Galaxy’s Greatest Tag Team”, Overtime looked for a fellow Titan to tag up against the six time World Tag Team Champions…the Troubleshooters! With Scion Nexus returning to the GWF after suffering a beat down from Master Race (see Card #568) needing a partner, Overtime had a built in partner! This match was one of the quickest (including the ‘Z’ championship match) as the Troubleshooters looked like they had jet lag! Overtime would use a Gravity Ball Tackle and land three consecutive THE CLINCHERS on Bomb for the easy win. Winners: Titan Blitz (**).
After Valour went to the ring out of character to tend to his former partner’s well being on
WILD WEDNESDAY (Card #567), he has been expunged from the Outlaw Nation and almost every match he has been involved in has had some kind of Nation interference! The last time Valour faced off against the patriarch of the Nation, he pinned Drury with a VIOLENT OUTBURST and high tailed it back to the locker room. The patriarch screamed to the fans at ringside that Patch would beat the living {censored} out of him and make him pay for his past crimes! The newcomer roughed up the Second Realm native pretty good but Valour took it to Patch as well! Patch landed a Walk the Walk maneuver, a Street Smarts, and also landed a COMPLETE PATCH WORK that would have gotten the pinfall but Valour’s foot was on the bottom rope! A couple minutes later, Valour fought back and used the WARRIOR’S RAGE that didn’t even garnish a one count; in addition, Valour busted Patch open with a VIOLENT OUTBURST before the referee called for the bell! He awarded the match to the Aldebaran native as a result of a disqualification but had to hold Patch’s arm up to signify that he won from the prone position. Valour looked around and waited for the Outlaw Nation’s usual run to ringside but he saw neither hide nor hair of any of them. The Second Realm native simply left ringside without any further confrontation. Winner: Patch (by disqualification) (**).
The arena’s vidscreen came to life one final time and a silhouette standing covered in shadows spoke… “The time for Martial Law has arrived! The Global Wrestling Federation has had a Commissioner that is afraid to step on toes and at one time has been replaced by an interim Commissioner that let his cronies run roughshod throughout the federation without any recourse of his actions. I will be the bringer of balance…the hand of justice…for I am…Iron Hand!” With that, Iron Hand came out of the shadows to reveal himself and the fans at ringside for the first time all night…went literally silent!**America’s Most Wanted versus Darwin’s Legacy (c)**
**World Tag Team Championship Title Match**
The Darwin’s Legacy came out of nowhere and won the World Tag Team titles during the Cosmic Tours Titlerun and hasn’t looked back since. No single team has even come close to defeating Dr. Barnabas’s genetic masterpieces and none of the critics ever would have given the Outlaw Nation’s team a chance! However, America’s Most Wanted looked like a well oiled machine during this bout and it was obvious that they done their homework! Whenever Nero came in the ring, US Male would soon enter to counter Nero’s power with his quickness and American Guy would come in the ring to even out Hadrian’s power! After close to ten minutes, US Male lifted up Nero and used a SEIZE THE DAY/PATRIOT MISSLE combo for the earthlings to begin their first ever World tag team title reign! Winners (and new GWF Tag Champions): America’s Most Wanted (**).
**Retribution versus TRICKS (c)**
**Intercontinental Championship Title Match**
**Circinus Cell Match** Over the last twenty or so cards, these two combatants have turned into competitors to that of loathing one another! These two have found a new definition of hatred since the events of
WILD WEDNESDAY (Card #567) and before Commissioner Massif was obviously released he put these into the Circinus Cell match for the Intercontinental to finish this feud once and for all! Have to say that for a Circinus cell Match, this bout was terrible as only three moves were used inside the steel as Retribution pushed around the maniacal clown. This caused the Sagittarian to scamper out to the top of the cage and this would be his downfall as Retribution climbed up there to meet him. Retribution blasted tricks with a gut buster drop and then tossed the champion off the top of the cage onto the concrete floor! Tricks attempted to get up but wasn’t able to continue and the referee awarded the match and the Intercontinental title to Retribution by default. Winner (and new Intercontinental Champion): Retribution (½ *).
**Disaster (c) vs. Endgame vs. Havoc vs. Nosfera vs. Swarm**
**Championship Scramble Match**
**World Heavyweight Championship Title Match**
This special match being used for the first time involves two combatants start the contest and another wrestler being introduced every five minutes until twenty minutes have passed! Anyone that makes a pin on the other participants will be the interim champion and will be recognized as champion only if the wrestler gets the last pin fall before time expires. This match was freakin' awesome and is definitely a candidate for the Match of the Year! The main event started with Nosfera battling Swarm and these two get it their all until Swarm gained the first pin at the four minute mark with HORNET’S STING! Swarm relished at the thought of becoming champion but probably daydreamed a little too much because the third combatant entered the fray…the World Champion himself, Disaster! The Aethran Wrecking Machine blasted Swarm with a Decapitator that kept the AniMan down long enough for the champ to put down Nosfera with a power bomb! Swarm, angered about not being the champ, ran over to Disaster and tried for a running clothesline but was pinned for his effort with a RAMPAGE at the nine and a half minute mark! At the ten minute mark, Endgame made his way to the ring and countered Disaster’s charge with a ULTIMA LEAP that shockingly scored a pinfall! Nosfera went over to stop the Corvus’s pin attempt but Swarm ironically landed another HORNET’S STING; however, Endgame stopped the pin attempt with a knee to the small of Swarm’s back! At the fifteen minute mark, the traitorous Aethran-Havoc came to ringside with fire in his eyes and quickly put Nosfera’s hopes of regaining gold to rest with his patented FALLEN DREAMS finisher! The demon was exhausted and rolled onto the arena floor to stay for the rest of the bout. Havoc continued to assault the earlier participants; and in the meantime, Swarm scored a pinfall against Disaster but would be crunched himself after Havoc used FALLEN DREAMS on the AniMan moments after! As time was ticking down, Endgame was being manhandled by Havoc and the Eugenics member went to the well one too many times…Havoc went for FALLEN DREAMS on Endgame but the three time World Champion countered the finisher with his own (ULTIMA LEAP) with only two seconds left in the match! The referee called for the bell and the Global wrestling federation has a new World Champion! Winner (and new World Champion): Endgame (****).
After the ring cleared out from the Championship Scramble match, the lights dimmed and fireworks shot into the air from all four turnbuckles delighting the ringside fans! From out of nowhere, almost like magic, the Ringleader of the Greatest Show on Earth materialized in the squared circle along with the Transevolver! “Ladies and gentlemen…boys and girls of all ages…let me begin by saying that the show isn’t over just yet! When Strutter promises a show, he delivers a show!”
The ringleader continued; “Let me draw your attention to inside of the Transevolver my friends! (Strutter opens the door to reveal that nothing is inside of the Transevolver) As everyone can see, nothing is in this box…I will close the door and flip a switch…alakazam!!” Several lights swirled around the Transevolver and after the lights stopped….the door opened! The fans roared it’s approval as someone stepped out…The Amazing Mann has returned!
“That’s right…the Circus of Fear is finally here! What…” Strutter’s gloating was interrupted by a young fan that ran into the ring! Amazing Mann quickly attacked the fan to prevent the intruder from getting to the machine or Strutter.“If he wants to be in the ring, put him in the box!” Strutter stated to a reluctant Mann. The arena roared as Tauran stormed the ring and blasted Vin Strutter with a forearm but would be attacked from behind by Amazing Mann!
If Amazing Mann had any doubts about putting Tauran into the Transevolver, he didn’t show it! Strutter regained his composure and instructed Mann to put the fan into the box also! Mann had no issues with his instructions this time around and complied with the ringleader’s commands! Strutter flipped the switch…
Suddenly a voice simply stated ‘never again’ and bolts of electricity flowed from the Transevolver and every single light in the Memphis arena was blown out! The bolts returned to the Transevolver as quick as they left the source and it is assumed that Strutter’s group quickly hightailed it to the locker room because they were nowhere to be found!
A glowing figure stepped out with the unconscious and apparently about twenty years younger Tauran in his arms! The figure walked toward the camera as electricity licked at his silhouette as the PaPer View went off the air!
