GWF 25 08.01.2087 from Terronaut Towers, Nuprania.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Lord Nexus injured for two cards.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Good evening and welcome to the GWF, tonight I'm joined by our newest superstar and one half of the tag team champions. Adam Blast, at 5'11" and 251 lbs he hails from Bluefield, West Virginia, USA on Earth.
Strongbow: "Welcome Adam, wow what an entrance you made in snagging the tag titles with Commander Sam, can you give us an insight into your feelings?"
Blast: "Thank you Doc, its such an honour to be here, its the culmination of my life long ambition. To join Commander Sam here in the GWF is all I ever wanted. I just can't wait to step back into action again tonight!"
Strongbow: "Yes, you're first on our card tonight and go up against Mutant. Your first singles bout in the GWF, before you and Sam complete your mandatory defence of the tag titles against The Gladiators next week."
Before Adam Blast could answer the interview was interrupted by Thantos, he cuffed Blast around the back of the head like he was an errant schoolboy, before he jabbed a finger at Strongbow.
Thantos: "Enough of this crap, nobody gives a damn about Sam's house boy, tonight its about me and my regaining my title, get on with the damn show already before I put you out of action permanently this time"
Adam Blast made an attempt to attack Thantos but the former champion swatted him aside with ease, simply laughing at the younger man. Bravely, and despite his previous injuries at Thantos' hands Strongbow came between the two superstars and did his best to calm the situation.
Strongbow: "OK Thantos, we don't want any trouble here, yes you get your title shot tonight, its the main event. We'll push on with the card now. I for one hope Star Warrior teaches you a lesson!"
Thantos snarled and balled his fist, making as though to throw a punch at the Doc, and then laughed as the Commissioner recoiled. With the boos of the crowd sounding loudly at the antics of the evil games-master the card got under way.
- Singles Bout - Adam Blast vs. Mutant Mutant defeated Adam Blast with a TEMPLE GRINDER at 2:58 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Adam Blast's debut as a singles star didn't go according to plan. Mutant was on his game today and managed to bring his TEMPLE GRINDER into play a couple of times, the second of which proved just too much for the young rookie. Still, the American received a warm ovation from the fans, early indications are that he'll be a big favourite. He took time after his defeat to sign autographs and pose with his tag title belt for a number of photographs.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Vanity Vanity defeated Pulsar with a flying fist at 3:13 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The fans were disappointed again as their favourite failed to claim a win. Truth be told Vanity was in charge throughout. Pulsar failed to make any sort of an impression and gave up the three count with a lack of fight. Vanity however was clearly delighted, he even began making noises about earning a title shot and that Star Warrior couldn't dodge him forever. Not that the champion is likely to be overly concerned.
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. The Henchmen Proteus defeated Comrade Terror with a Proteus Smash at 7:07 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: The Gods gave the fans something to cheer about, putting on a determined and coherent display to earn a great win. They showed a real sense of togetherness and it was that team work that earned them the victory. With the result in the record books, both Proteus and Actagon took a moment to offer an apology to the fans for their behaviour at the recent PPV. They said that winning matches and earning the title belts means everything to them, and sometimes that spilled over into frustration.
- Singles Bout - Renegade vs. Killer Queen Renegade defeated Killer Queen with a SPINECRACKER at 21:21 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: This was a fantastic encounter and really raised the excitement levels in the arena. With two mid-card stars going at one another the expectation levels were low, but wow what a show they put on. The action ebbed back and forth, both men having their turns in the ascendancy, blood flowed as bodies were put on the line. Finally, with exhaustion starting to show Renegade was able to put his opponent away and earn a memorable win and a standing ovation.
- Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Exo-King Wolf defeated Exo-King with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 12:53 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: With the quality of the previous bout having set the standard so high, this had a lot to live up to. It didn't quite manage it but came close! The action spilled out of the ring several times, Wolf was lucky not to be disqualified as the battle wore on. It was sudden and without warning when Wolf managed to sink in his feared SAVAGE FACE CLAW, once it was locked in there was no escape and Exo-King just had to submit, he'll be disappointed as he had more than his share of the action.
- Singles Bout - Massif vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Massif with a cross-body block at 13:24 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Krakan showed yet again what a threat he can be, this was a great win over one of the federations very top contenders. With many fans now wondering if he'll earn a title shot soon, Krakan has to be pleased with tonight's performance. When he's on form he is definitely one of the best in the GWF. Massif was unable to cope with the vicious and determined nature of the attack he faced, and while he had his chances he always seemed to be somewhat on the back foot.
- Galaxian Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Thantos for the Galaxian Championship Thantos defeated Star Warrior with a MASTERLOCK at 25:23 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Star Warriors reign as champion didn't last long, he started well and for fifteen minutes he looked more likely to emerge the winner. He had Thantos down for a pin count on three separate occasions but just couldn't keep his shoulders down. Gradually though the tide turned, Thantos began to get the better of things and snared the champion with his MASTERLOCK. Though Star Warrior was able to escape, he was clearly hurt by it and was on the back foot for the last few minutes of the bout. When the dreaded MASTERLOCK caught him again there was no escape, for several minutes the champion struggled to escape, just refusing to tap out, but eventually the pain was too much and Thantos regained the championship. The show went off air with Thantos taunting a wounded Star Warrior, clearly pointing out that he believed himself to be a league above all other contenders.
Thantos won the Galaxian Championship
Overall Card Rating: 3.43

GWF 26 08.08.2087 from Epsilon Playground, Epsilon Ring, Uranus.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Lord Nexus injured for one card.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Welcome to another action packed GWF broadcast. Right, to business. First I want to confirm that Thantos is suspended until our next PPV, he is banned from all GWF arenas in the meantime and has been fined one weeks wages. His behaviour last week in threatening me is unacceptable.
Tonight will see The Gladiators getting their title match against Bomb Squad, as former champions it is their right.
I mentioned our next PPV a moment ago, our fans will know that this will be the first ever GWF broadcast from Aethra. I have a few more details to share. Firstly, it is confirmed that The Greek Gods and Wolf have been barred, we are yet to receive confirmation on Commander Sam's position. It seems that we have missed the deadline to apply for a travel permit on behalf of Adam Blast. Please also note that no GWF fans will be admitted to the Aethran system, there will be no ticket sales at all, the crowd will be made up of an invited Aethran audience. Further news on this as we get it.
Now on with tonights show, first up its time to welcome to the ring the one true living legend of modern wrestling..
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Mutant Omega defeated Mutant with a cosmic war dance at 5:37 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Omega took a good win here, Mutant actually arrived with his game face on and gave it his all. The technical shortcomings of Mutant and the aged form of Omega assured that the bout never reached the heights of excellence but it was an intriguing encounter. No doubt Omega would be delighted to have this one in the record books, rolling the years back just a little.
- Singles Bout - Beast-Rider vs. Death Knight Beast-Rider defeated Death Knight with a BULLDOG RIDE at 0:45 Match Rating: 0.25 Match Notes: This match never got started, Beast Rider ended the encounter with a couple of BULLDOG RIDE finishers in a row. Possibly the single worst encounter seen this year.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Renegade Pit Viper defeated Renegade with a VENOM BLAST at 8:27 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Pit Viper stole one here, he was second best for most of the bout and was forced to endure a couple of pin attempts and a full bloodied SPINECRACKER. However it was his own finisher, a very sudden VENOM BLAST that ended the encounter. Renegade almost kicked out, it was a real struggle for Viper to keep his opponents shoulders on the mat.
- Singles Bout - Vanity vs. Massif Massif defeated Vanity with a VOLCANIC DROP at 1:12 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Vanity entered this bout as a huge underdog and did nothing to shed that tag. His elaborate and over the top entrance lasted much longer than the match itself. Chalk this up as a straight forward victory for the big man, Massif.
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. The Henchmen Executioner defeated Proteus with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 10:12 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Great result for The Henchmen and yet another disappointing display by The Greek Gods. Underhanded tactics by The Henchmen ensured that they never allowed their opponents to get into any kind of a groove. This was a messy bout, lots of conning the referee, thumbs to eyes and knees to groins. Not pretty but the malicious villains claimed a valuable victory.
- Singles Bout - Killer Queen vs. Lord Nexus Killer Queen defeated Lord Nexus with a CHECKMATE at 6:37 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Killer Queen put in a magnificent performance, he wasn't expected to get much out of this encounter but he confounded his critics. The CHECKMATE made the difference, though Lord Nexus was able to escape it twice, it clearly was a strain on the Titan. By the time it was locked on the third time Nexus just simply couldn't find the strength to escape. An audible groan escaped the crowd as the popular hero was forced to concede.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Wolf Star Warrior defeated Wolf with a NOVA LAUNCH at 13:26 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Star Warrior showed no signs of a hangover following his short title reign. He seemed on great form and is clearly eager to lock horns with Thantos again. For his part, Wolf fought well but was never able to truly threaten to take the win. Only once did he come even close to sinking in his SAVAGE FACE CLAW, but Star Warrior was just to strong and quick. This encounter of two fan favourites proved a really popular bout, the crowd seeming to come alive time and again as the encounter progressed.
- Tag Team Title Bout -
- Tag Team Bout - Bomb Squad vs. Gladiators of Aethra for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Massacre defeated Commander Sam with an overhead slam at 2:40 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Wow, this was just brutal! The Gladiators simply tore into the champions and reclaimed the titles in some style. There was no mercy and relenting in their attack, within moments Commander Sam was busted open and sprawled outside of the ring while Adam Blast was picked apart in the middle of the ring. There was no doubt that Brute and Massacre had a serious hunger to be champions again, on this kind of form can anybody stop them?
Gladiators of Aethra won the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
Overall Card Rating: 2.41

Hehehe! Loved the card! Glad to see Ex get another win! ;D Yah know... I've been thinking some lately! If I could have done it over again... I would have made a tag team out of Vanity and Killer Queen called "Looks That Kill, Moves That Thrill!" ... Some food for thought!

GWF 27 08.15.2087 from Mira Galaxy Dome, Cetus.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Thantos suspended until next PPV.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Good evening fight fans, the GWF is on Cetus tonight, the home of both Omega and Star Warrior, as such I can tell you that the tag team of Bloodline will be in action tonight taking on The Henchmen.
Looking ahead to the as yet un-named PPV on Aethra in a couple of weeks, a few more pieces of news to bring you. First, The Aethran authorities have demanded that they name the event and also decide on each of the matches. Though they have agreed that GWF authorities will sanction a Galaxian Title Bout independently.
I can also confirm that we have received a sanction for Commander Sam's appearance at the PPV, as yet we do not know in what capacity.
More information as we get it.. now, its time for action!
- Singles Bout - Adam Blast vs. Death Knight Adam Blast defeated Death Knight with a Torpedo Dive at 0:32 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: Adam Blast had it easy, winning without a great deal of effort as Death Knight simply crumbled. Blast didn't seem to care though, he recorded his first ever singles win here and boy was he delighted! The GWF's latest rookie has had quite the start to his career, a former tag champion already and now off and running in the singles ranks.
- Singles Bout - Beast-Rider vs. Mutant Mutant defeated Beast-Rider with a Skullcrusher at 4:13 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Mutant put his limited skills to good use here, with a flurry of bites and punches he held his own in the early going. Beast Rider managed to do well enough too, he seemed to have the gameplan to thwart the Mutants style. However, the TEMPLE GRINDER which was applied in the latter stages seemed to leave Beast Rider dizzied and out of sorts, it came as no surprise therefore when Mutant claimed the win moments later.
Commander Sam vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Commander Sam with a shoulder tackle at 0:40 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: The second non-event of a match as Krakan took a very easy win. Sam didn't seem to turn up as he was simply blown aside. Krakan seemed disappointed to have taken the win so very simply, it was a feeling shared by the crowd, absolutely nothing to get excited about here at all.
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Greek Gods Proteus defeated Massacre with an OVERHEAD TOSS at 25:08 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Much more like it, what a fantastic bout! The champions were on the wrong end of the result as The Greek Gods fought magnificently to claim a great victory. The two premier tag teams in the GWF showed why they are held in such high regard as the action went back and forth throughout. All four of the competitors had their moment to shine, the result remained in doubt right to the very end in an encounter that was so close and fiercely competed all the way.
- Titan Death Match - Wolf vs. Exo-King Wolf defeated Exo-King with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 2:57 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: This bout had promised so much on paper, but yet again the action failed to deliver tonight. The two men fought tooth and nail before Wolf locked in his SAVAGE FACE CLAW from which there was no escape. The sharp claws of Wolf sunk deep into the King's flesh drawing blood just before the big man tapped out in obvious agony.
- Singles Bout - Massif vs. Lord Nexus Lord Nexus defeated Massif with a TITAN DROP at 5:54 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Lord Nexus took a great win, his speed, agility and attacking style was enough to bamboozle Massif. It proved yet again that if Massif can be prevented from using his great strength he seems to lack the core wrestling skills to adapt his game. Nexus celebrated and indicated that he was aiming for a title shot, in a clear sign of good sporting behaviour, Massif held aloft the winners arm and gave his appreciation to his conqueror.
- Tag Team Bout - Bloodline vs. The Henchmen Star Warrior defeated Comrade Terror with a NOVA LAUNCH at 8:51 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Much to the delight of the Cetus crowd, Bloodline claimed a hard fought victory. It was an average bout that ended a below average card, yet the fans couldn't care less! They got to see their two homegrown former champions in action, so wildly popular this father and son team seem to be here, that they probably could have set up a crochet class in the ring and still receive a standing ovation. As the broadcast went off air, the two victors were seen working their way into the crowd, shaking hands and signing autographs.
Overall Card Rating: 2.32
