GWF 24 07.25.2087 from Ultra-Sphere, Herculis.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Lord Nexus injured for four cards.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Welcome to our last card before our next PPV "Deathmark '87". So far the only details I can confirm about this forthcoming extravaganza is that Wolf and Comrade Terror meet in a Barb Wire Cosmic Cage Match. Thantos and The Gladiators will also be defending their titles, the challengers are yet to be confirmed. We may have more on this situation tonight, as your commissioner I commit to pushing these contracts through as soon as possible.
Looking to the future, wrestling fans will be aware of the recent growth of small federations. There are several struggling to survive at present, as wrestling grows in popularity so the bigger federations like ourselves and the AWF etc continue to go from strength to strength. Its inevitable that some companies will struggle and its with that in mind that I can confirm negotiations have commenced to bring some talent in from those companies that need to sell. Fans should start looking around the galaxy, who do you think will be seen in a GWF ring next year?
back to the present, let the action commence!
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Executioner Executioner defeated Omega with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 1:30 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: This was a non contest, Executioner hit the ring like a storm. He dominated completely and was on the offensive all the while. Just took a few moves to set Omega up for his HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE, and that was all she wrote.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Mutant Pulsar defeated Mutant with a cross-body block at 5:53 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Pulsar took a hugely popular win ending an even encounter with a perfectly timed cross body-block. Mutant managed to perform well for the most part, he seemed focused and on his game. But yet again, he made the mistake of forgetting to kickout. The young Titan showed great enthusiasm and was clearly delighted with having taken the win, it remains to be seen if he can develop the ability to match that natural exuberance.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Exo-King Pit Viper defeated Exo-King with a Cobra Nerve Stopper at 2:03 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: What a great result for Pit Viper, he completely dominated against his much larger foe. Exo-King was dazzled by the Titans swift and daring attacks, he never managed to get his hands on Viper and bring his great strength into the encounter. The pin was claimed with a firm roll-up, only just making the three count there seemed to be much fight left in Exo-King and his frustration at the swift pin was evident for all to see.
- Singles Bout - Commander Sam vs. Lord Nexus Commander Sam defeated Lord Nexus with a SAM'S ATOMIC DROP at 5:39 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Commander Sam prevented a clean sweep for the Titan's. He claimed a great victory with two successive SAM'S ATOMIC DROPS. Nexus was caught and embroiled in the smash mouth style of Sam and found himself unable to formulate his usual more daring style in reply. The two men shook hands after the bout, Nexus taking the time to sportingly congratulate the victor, a display that brought a long round of cheers from the fans.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Invincible Krakan Star Warrior defeated Invincible Krakan with a NOVA LAUNCH at 19:25 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Star Warrior ended a terrific back and forth bout, both men had to kick out of several pins each. Star Warrior survived the FALLING FACE SLAM twice as the match continued. The quality was high throughout, providing top notch entertainment for the fans who were brought to their feet time and again. Star Warrior connected with his NOVA LAUNCH just once, but it was enough! It came at a point when Krakan was wearied and staggered by a stunning Running Star Blast. Could Star Warrior have won himself a title shot, certainly GWF fans throughout the galaxy will be hoping so.
- Titan Death Match - Wolf vs. Comrade Terror Comrade Terror defeated Wolf with an ATOMIC WARHEAD at 17:14 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: These two warriors put it all on the line again before their encounter at Deathmark '87. As ever this was a brutal war both men tearing lumps out of each other from start to finish, several times the match spilled out of the ring where tables and chairs and assorted weapons came into play as the blood spilled. Judging by the early going this could have gone either way, however after Terror brutalized Wolf with a steel chair to the head time and again things changed. He bent and twisted the chair with the wicked assault, seeming almost to crack the wild-man's skull as he just wouldn't let up. A clearly dazed Wolf was unable to fight off the assaults of his opponent from then on and it seemed almost an act of mercy when the pin finally came. Look for these two to take their feud to new heights when they meet in a Barb Wire Cosmic Cage Bout at Deathmark, fans around the galaxy are revved up to see what happens next in this constantly escalating war.
- Strongbow in the Ring. - Commissioner Doc Strongbow made his way down to the ring following the completion of the final bout of the night. He hadn't been seen in the flesh for some time, having recorded his segments backstage of late, it was a shock to the fans to see that he walked with a visible limp, clearly still suffering from the vile beating he took from Thantos and his goons earlier in the year. Strongbow stepped into the ring, claiming a microphone and addressing the crowd directly.
Strongbow: "Wow, what a great night! I hope you all enjoyed the show. I'm here to make a few announcements about our PPV Deathmark coming to you live on Monday night! Massif and Exo-king will renew their feud in a Cosmic Cage Bout. Lord Nexus and Krakan go head to head in a Titan Death Match. Wolf and Comrade Terror meet in a fearsome Barb Wire Cage Match. The Gladiators will be defending their titles. The big news, the moment you've all been waiting for: Thantos and Star Warrior will collide in a battle for the Galaxian Title. You do not want to miss this! See you at Deathmark folks!

Deathmark '87 07.28.2087 from IO Coliseum, Jupiter
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Lord Nexus injured for three cards.
- Doc Strongbow's News Update - Due to continuing issues following the attack he suffered earlier this year, Doc Strongbow is unable to be at today's PPV. He is expected to return shortly.
The management of the GWF would like to extend apologies to all of our fans and our best wishes to the Doc.
The main point of note to be made tonight is the arrival of a new GWF superstar, expect him to be interviewed by Doc Strongbow in the near future.
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Pulsar Omega defeated Pulsar with a Cosmic War Dance at 8:16 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Omega showed that experience can beat youthful exuberance, his Cosmic War Dance was enough to end the encounter after what had been a close and well fought encounter. The fans enjoyed every moment, the living legend against the popular young Titan, two men with a huge following amongst the fans was always going to be a good way to open this latest PPV.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Executioner Executioner defeated Pit Viper with a Deathjump at 12:43 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Its not often that we see Executioner go for a Deathjump, but on this occasion it was a perfectly executed maneouver that flattened Pit Viper. The match-up had been fiercely contested, both superstars giving it their all much to the delight of the fans. While Executioner started well, it had seemed that Pit Viper had managed to turn the tide, he certainly had the better of the middle part of the encounter.
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Renegade defeated Proteus with a Disqualification at 3:12 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Perhaps it was the Greek Gods annoyance at being overlooked for a title shot, but whatever the reason they seemed ill tempered from the start. It came as no surprise to see them disqualified, but it was unusual to see the two Greeks leaving the ring to a chorus of boos.
- Cosmic Cage Bout - Exo-King vs. Massif Exo-King defeated Massif with a Figure-Four leglock at 18:24 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Following a bout that showcased the upper body strength of both men, it came as something of a surprise to see it end with a figure-four leg lock. This was a real back and forth encounter, there wasn't so much pure wrestling skill on show but the strength vs strength battle was as intriguing as ever. Both men had chances to turn the bout in their favour decisively, but it remained in the balance to the very end.
- Titan Death Match - Lord Nexus vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Lord Nexus with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 8:50 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Krakan took a great win, taking the initiative from the first. He was able to slow Nexus down early and dish out quite the beating. At the end, with his opponent down, Krakan horribly spat on his nemesis before climbing a turnbuckle and wiping his hand over his chest, leaving a hint of a trail of Nexus' blood on his chest. It was a disgusting end to the bout and earned Krakan the wrath of the crowd as he left the arena.
- Tag Team Title Bout -
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Bomb Squad for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Commander Sam defeated Massacre with a SAM'S ATOMIC DROP at 21:41 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Wow, what a way for Adam Blast to make his debut! He came to the ring after Sam, joining him in the ring to the delight of the crowd. Sam introduced him as "My protege and a real talent". Adam played his part, making a fantastic debut. The Bomb Squad managed to get the better of the Gladiators in an epic encounter, both teams gave it everything. No doubt there will be a rematch and soon! Have we got another GWF icon on our hands here, will Adam Blast live up to the incredible potential he showed here?
Bomb Squad won the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
- Barb Wire Cosmic Cage Bout - Wolf vs. Comrade Terror Wolf defeated Comrade Terror with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 16:51 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: This must have been one of the bloodiest encounters ever! Comrade Terror was bust open early, bleeding profusely throughout the rest of the bout. Wolf used the cage and the barb wire as a weapon, clearly delighting in this particularly brutal match. However, Terror fought back well, managing to take the advantage and wrapping Wolf's head in the barbwire and hurling him time and again into the cage wall. As both men bled and wore the crimson mask, the levels of brutality increased. Trapped in a corner amidst the cruel wire, Terror found himself in the SAVAGE FACE CLAW and quite unable to escape.
- Galaxian Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Star Warrior for the Galaxian Championship Star Warrior defeated Thantos with a NOVA LAUNCH at 28:15 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: In an amazing bout Star Warrior took the win and the title much to the delight of the fans. Thantos went for the pin early and several times, seemingly wanting to end the bout quickly. Star Warrior kicked out each time and forced the champion to battle deeper into the contest. The MASTERLOCK was locked in at about the 18 minute mark and it took a herculean effort from Star Warrior to escape. With that dreaded finisher escaped, the bout seemed to change direction and the heroic grappler was able to go on the offensive, putting together a great string of moves. When the NOVA LAUNCH hit, it hit hard and was sufficient to bring the three count. The crowd just erupted, Star Warrior sank to his knees and clutched the championship belt to him. Thantos left quietly as Commander Sam and Adam Blast returned to the ring to join the celebrations, the whole arena gripped by something of a party atmosphere.
Star Warrior won the Galaxian Championship

Yeah, it came as a surprise to see Star Warrior take the title.
Have to see if he can hold on to it.
The Gladiators will get a rematch too, can't see them wanting to head to the PPV on Aethra without the tag titles in their possession.
