Please forgive my self indulgence.
After 10 years away from the COTG universe, I've returned. Played a half dozen or so cards to get the feel back.
What follows is the first card that I've begun storylines and stuff in. Being so out of touch, I'm keen to know if this is a similar concept to what else is out there.
Comments welcome.
I thank you (Loving COTG right now!)

GCW 5 03.14.2087 from The TeePee, Indus.
- Injury-Suspension Update - Pit Viper injured 9 cards (including concussion 2 cards) Commander Sam injured 2 cards.
Comrade Terror suspended 1 card.
- Doc Strongbows News Roundup. - Welcome grapple fans, Doc Strongbow here with my weekly roundup.
First some housekeeping and a great piece of news. GCW has now moved to its regular Friday night slot!
For those of you that don't know me, I competed with Omega and the like prior to the 2074 formation of the old GWF. Though I never wrestled in the fed, I would have loved to have done so! My days were spent in the illicit brawling of old during the period when all combative sports were banned.
At the conclusion of GCW 4 following their Tag win over the Space Croppers, Actagon and Proteus remained in the ring. Calling out the Gladiators and claiming that the titles belonged with the Gods. As the show went off air Brute and Massacre appeared at the stage entrance and held aloft the titles milking the boos of the crowd.
Tonight, even before the action got underway Wolf was seen in a fierce conversation with Thantos. The suspended Comrade Terror was on hand to back up the evil gamesmaster. No violence ensued, but clearly Wolf was making some vehement point. Something to keep an eye on, its clear to fans everywhere that Wolf is under-performing of late.
Star Warrior arrived late for the event, he seemed to be seething with anger, pushing aside our intrepid reporter as he sought a word with the young superstar. Word is that Warrior is becoming increasingly frustrated at his inability to beat Thantos. Incredible to believe he has NEVER beaten his nemesis to date.
Now.. lets get things started..
Pit Viper made an appearance at the start of the show, coming to the ring to thank the fans for their concern, he said "I'm recovering well, the cowardly attacks by the Society of Death on not one, but two occasions has forced me to withdraw from action tonight" GCW sources claim that while Vipers injuries are healing, he's not cleared to compete due to a concussion sustained in the second of those attacks. He left the ring to a resounding round of cheers and the like from the fans. Then, to send the fans into a frenzy... Star Warriors entrance music filled the packed arena.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Death Knight Star Warrior defeated Death Knight with a NOVA LAUNCH at 1:26 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Star Warrior made short work of Death Knight. Clearly angered at having to compete with a man clearly not at his level.
- Thantos heads to the ring.. - The ring cleared and a clearly annoyed Star Warrior made his way back behind the scenes. Death Knight remained in the ring, still flat on his back as Thantos stepped in through the ropes. Kicking the prone Knight he laughed into a microphone and soaked up the ire of the fans. Then he spoke. "It is fitting that you, Star Warrior compete against trash like this, you can't compete with me! Stay where you're safe, I'm out of your league." The crowd erupted into boos and howls of derision, hurling screwed up posters and snack papers into the ring. As some semblance of silence fell Thantos spoke again. "As YOUR champion. Hell, strike that. I'm my own damn champion and for as long as I see fit it'll stay that way. As champion, I'll use whatever influence I have to see that the spoiled son of Omega remains as he should be. A bum fighting bums! With that he kicked a foot at Death Knight again, hurling the microphone in his face with disgust before strolling, title belt over his shoulder from the arena.
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Ghengis Khan Ghengis Khan defeated Omega with a Deadly Throat Chop at 3:18 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Khan made short work of the bout, he always looked in command and prevented Omega from ever getting up a real head of steam. The living legends ring experience kept him in things for a time, but soon enough the more youthful competitor had his way.
- Singles Bout - Commander Sam vs. Vanity Commander Sam defeated Vanity with a SAMS ATOMIC DROP at 2:49 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Sam seemed in great form despite his niggling injury, putting away Vanity with his classic finisher. Somehow Vanity seemed halfway terrified, Sam's reputation for enjoying the more brutal encounters clearly unsettled the pretty boy.
- Sam makes a challenge.. - Having dispatched Vanity in short order, Sam grabbed a microphone and stalked the ring, stomping around it until the crowd quietened enough or him to speak. "TERROR!!" He roared.. letting the word reverberate around the arena before he continued. "Comrade Terror.. I know your suspension ends next week. I know you're coming back. I want you at March Madness. You and me. Torture Chamber Bout." The crowd erupted as Sam dropped the microphone, sliding from the ring and high-fiving numerous fans on his way to the backstage area. Would Terror take up the challenge? There'd never been a Torture Chamber Bout before.. but perhaps the mere sound of it was enough to send the fans wild!
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. and Exo-King, Killer Queen Actagon defeated Exo-King with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP at 1:57 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Wow that was quick! Exo-King missed with a massive shoulder charge, bouncing off the turnbuckle and into the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP. The big man took a nap, neither Queen or Proteus got into the ring.
- Cosmic Cage Bout - Massif vs. Mutant Massif defeated Mutant with a Grinding Bear Hug at 21:43 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Mutant proved that he really rather likes the Steel Cage. Though he ended up losing, he put up a hell of a fight. Bleeding heavily yet clearly having the time of his life, in the end he just passed out in that massive bear hug. Massif needed a win and this looks like a good one.
- Singles Bout - Lord Nexus vs. Executioner Lord Nexus defeated Executioner with a Flying Elbow Smash at 6:53 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: While the Executioner was able to slow the pace and bring home some basic strong arm tactics he looked good value, but once Nexus got moving it was only going to go one way. The crowd just love this man, he's redefining wrestling for a generation of fans. While Star Warrior may be the true fan favourite, Nexus is redefining the high risk approach that is starting to take a hold in the fledgling GCW.
- Non-Title Bout -
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Renegade defeated Brute with a SPINECRACKER at 18:10 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Wow! The new champions suffered a major reversal here. Having dominated the bout the Gladiators maybe took things for granted a little. From nowhere Beast Rider hit Brute with a great dropkick, tagged in Renegade and then dove over the top rope, clotheslining Massacre from the apron on the way! The Giant Brute stumbled dazed backward into the SPINECRACKER and game over. The arena erupted. Brute went into something of a rampage, smashing tables and chairs at ringside after the match. Smart money says that he had plans to call Massif out for an arm-wrestle match to prove the strongest man in the GCW. Clearly humiliation derailed his plans!
- Cosmic Cage Bout - Wolf vs. Invincible Krakan Wolf defeated Invincible Krakan with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 15:08 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: After a tumultuous battle, Wolf snared Krakan with his SAVAGE FACE CLAW, Krakan had nowhere to escape to, and soon enough he tapped. That should have been an end to it. Instead Wolf re-applied his finisher and tortured Krakan again. Grabbing a microphone as he did declaring "Woooo.. I'm back! The Wolf is back!" Clearly elated with his long overdue win, Wolf then called out Thantos, declaring that The SAVAGE FACE CLAW would beat the MASTERLOCK at March Madness later this month. The evil gamesmaster didn't respond, the ring was cleared and the cage dismantled. Finally Wolf left, leaving an injured Krakan bleeding profusely in the ring.
- Galaxian Title Bout - Pulsar arrived in the ring first looking nervous. After a long delay Thantos' music hit an he made his way down to the ring. Completely ignoring Pulsar at first he grabbed a microphone and.. "First, let me say that I have no need nor desire to answer the inane rambling of that cretin Wolf. There will be no match at March Madness there will be no title shot for that barbarian. However, as you all know, I am the greatest champion of all time! To prove my competitive nature, I am prepared to put my title on the line tonight! Me and you Pulsar.. me and you for the gold!" The crowd booed Thantos' refusal to face Wolf.. yet immediately got behind the Titan, filling the arena with a chant of "Pulsar.. Pulsar.. Pulsar" throughout the match.
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Pulsar for the Galaxian Championship Thantos defeated Pulsar with a MASTERLOCK at 5:41 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Pulsar put together a few good moves in the early going, clearly buoyed by the crowds cheering. Then for the following five minutes, Thantos just tortured poor Pulsar. Then with almost a sense of mercy he slapped on the MASTERLOCK and had the challenger howling for mercy. Only then did the cheering diminish as the disappointed fans saw their young hero fall in battle.
- The Crowd is heard.. - With Pulsar helped from the ring by a couple of the backroom staff, he hobbled toward the backstage area. Thantos grabbed a microphone and stalked the ring, circling it, petting the belt that hung over his shoulder. Then he paused, pointed toward the entrance ramp and scowled "Wolf..." he paused for effect. No sooner had he done so than the chant of "Wolf... Wolf... Wolf..." rose from the crowd, louder and louder. Replacing the earlier chant for Pulsar with an even more boisterous sound. Finally as the show went off air, Thantos tossed the microphone down in a hiss of static, unable to make himself heard he stomped out of sight.
Overall Card Rating: 2.47

GCW 6 03.21.2087 from Red Ice Arena, Mars.
- Injury-Suspension Update - Pit Viper injured 8 cards (including concussion 1 card) Commander Sam injured 1 card.
- Doc Strongbows News Roundup. - Welcome Friday fight fans, Doc Strongbow here with your regular dutifully detailed download of data!
First up, Brute has indeed thrown down the gauntlet to his fellow superstars. Tonight sees the semi-finals of the first ever Arm-Wrestling challenge here in the GCW. My sources indicate that Massif and Exo-King have both stepped up to the plate, latest from the Gladiators is that one of the competitors could well find themselves with a bye into the final as things stand.
Nothing so far from Comrade Terror regarding the Torture Chamber challenge from Commander Sam at March Madness, which by the way, if you haven' ordered yet contact your service provider right after tonight's show.
Now, joining me here at ringside is... Star Warrior! (Without fanfare Star Warrior made his way down to the ring area, a focused look on his face, clearly still seething at the treatment he's been receiving at the hands of Thantos)
Thank you for joining me Warrior, good to see you. Tell me about your plans for the upcoming March Madness.
"Thanks Doc. Down to business, I say now that I will face Thantos in any match of his choice. I just want a chance to wipe that smirk from his face. Its time he was reminded that he doesn't have the right to run roughshod over this fed"
Hmmm, as you know Warrior, its always been a tradition that the champions, both Galaxian and Tag, set the tone for the fed, was always the way in the days of the GWF, that doesn't seem to have changed now as we move into the GCW era. Are you saying that you believe its time for a greater authority to organise things around here?
(Star Warrior nodded a time before answering, clearly giving thought to the matter.)
"I don't know Doc.. maybe so. I believe however that its written into the constitution of the GWF that the sporting champions would lead the fed in all regulatory matters. Now that the code is broken I'm not sure where we stand"
Thanks Warrior, let me now bring you onto tonight. You're facing The Mutant, and I have a statement here from Thantos to read out 'Star Warrior, tonight you face Mutant in a Titan Death Match. In the interest of good sportsmanship I have allowed two evenly matched jobbers to compete on level terms. Good luck.' What do you make of that? (asked Strongbow as he finished reading.
"Its a disgrace, that man has no respect for anybody here, for the GCW or the memory of the GWF, or for any one of our wonderful fans. In fact I'd go so far...."
(Before Star Warrior could finish, Mutant's entrance music blared through the arena. The green skinned brawler headed to the ring to be followed by referee Jim Habersham, it was clear that Thantos planned to deny Warrior even his own entrance music at this point. The bell rang and Doc Strongbow stepped back from the arena as the first match of the night got under way.)
- Titan Death Match - Star Warrior vs. Mutant Star Warrior defeated Mutant with a NOVA LAUNCH at 9:36 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Star Warrior dominated the bout for the most part, but Mutant just would not stay down! Finally the sheer impact of the Nova Launch was enough to cement the win for Star Warrior who unusually had little time for the fans after the match. He seems utterly pre-occupied with his continuing humiliation at the hands of Thantos.
Meanwhile, Mutant is gathering something of a following. He may not have a great win-loss record. But his sheer competitive spirit is starting to endear him to a good number of fans.
- Backstage Office - The camera is on Thantos as he sits behind a desk, his championship belt spread out before him, the view pans to show that he is talking to Comrade Terror.
Thantos: "Star Warrior I can handle, as far as Sam goes, I won't stop you accepting his challenge for March Madness. But you know you'll be on your own for that?"
Terror: "I know.. I shall rip that fossil limb from limb. Its time I put an end to him for good!"
Terror slams his balled fist into his other palm for effect as he laughs. Suddenly the door opens and in rushes Executioner, he barely pauses for breath before speaking urgently.
Exec: "They won't go for it.. all they care about is fighting! Its not going to work"
Thantos: "Damn it! I need Tag Champions that will work with me, not against me. They're almost as bad as the cursed Greeks."
Thantos looked from Executioner to Terror and back in, a grin slowly forming over his evil features.
Thantos: "I may just have an idea..."
With that the broadcast switched back to the arena and launched straight into the next match.
- Singles Bout - Beast-Rider vs. Death Knight Death Knight defeated Beast-Rider with a COSMIC LANCE at 14:38 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Death Knight took his first singles win of the year, ending fierce bout with his COSMIC LANCE. The match went back and forth, several times Beast Rider came close to a win, before he missed with a daring deathjump. This left the door open for the Knight to bring the pain with a series of high impact moves on the stunned Beast Rider.
- Singles Bout - Killer Queen vs. Omega Omega defeated Killer Queen with a Cosmic War Dance at 4:23 Match Rating: 1.75 Match Notes: Omega rolled back the years to claim the win. Killer Queen started well with a series of big time shots which Omega seemed to mostly block with his chin. However, the living legend soaked up the punishment and turned the tables to seal the three count.
- Brutes Arm Wrestle Challenge. - With their headbanging theme rending the air, Brute and Massacre swaggered to the ring, each carrying a title belt over a shoulder. Waiting in the ring for them was a table, set up with the pads and grips for such an event. Brute carried with him a small sack, which hung by his side whilst he grabbed a microphone and growled in the usual manner of his team.
Brute: "Shut the hell up, the Gladiators have arrived"
Despite themselves the crowd seemed to admire the headbanging duo, and after a brief round of boos and jeers the noise level dropped enough for Brute to continue.
Brute: "Tonight, I challenge any and all in the GCW to an Arm-wrestling match. So far, only Exo-King and Massif have dared to accept. Their names and mine are in this sack. The completely impartial Massacre will make the draw!"
Massacre took the bag, and proceeded to make what seemed the inevitable draw.
Massacre: "Randomly... I draw first Massif... then Exo-King for the first semi-final. With no other challenger at present. Brute will proceed to the final directly!"
The crowd booed and jeered again, while the entrance music for both Massif and Exo-King hit. The two men joining the Gladiators in the ring along with referee Andreas Kirsh.
The two big men got into position for the event..
- Arm-Wrestling Challenge - Massif vs. Exo-King Massif defeated Exo-King with a Clean Win at 4:42 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Massif got off to a good start, putting the pressure on early. Though the King rallied several times, he was never able to force his arm back up to the vertical. Being on the defensive for so long clearly took its toll, and finally amid much grunting and sweating Massif proved his greater strength.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Pulsar with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 3:38 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Clearly the crowd were rooting for the young rookie to put in another good performance and claim an unlikely win. Krakan however, was having none of it. His greater experience the Krakan Skullcrusher wore Pulsar down to the point that the FALLING FACE SLAM seemed an inevitability.
- Singles Bout - Actagon vs. Vanity Vanity defeated Actagon with a Cropper Slam at 14:45 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Really good bout here. Actagon was perhaps expected to win, but Vanity impressed throughout. Both men hit a good number of impressive moves, impressively clean wrestling skills shown for the most part. However, shortly before the end the bout spilled out of the ring and Actagon found himself eating table. That really was start of his downfall thereafter, he seemed dazed and weary, completely unable to block Vanity any longer.
- Brutes Arm Wrestle Challenge. - Once more Brute and Massacre made their way to the ring. Each step a confident swagger. The ring had been set up again for an arm-wrestle match. Once they'd climbed through the ropes (or over them in Brutes case) Massacre grabbed the microphone and..
Massacre: "Shut the hell up, The Gladiators have arrived!"
While the crowd reacted and finally quietened down, Brute posed to all four sides of the ring, flexing huge muscles, kissing his biceps and clearly enjoying the moment.
Massacre: "First let me congratulate Massif on reaching the final of the contest. A final which will be staged at March Madness next week! Seems that the mighty Brute will be competing with him then"
Massacre looked to Brute and shrugged.
Massacre: "Looks like there's nobody out there to challenge you big guy!"
Brute: "Of course not, every worm of a being in this arena quakes before my power, there's nobody here to"
Suddenly with a flash of pyrotechnics The Greek Gods emerged, there music sounding loud and proud. Once into the ring Proteus snatched the microphone from Massacre and stood nose to nose with Brute.
"Would seem may-hap that your challenger awaits. Verily let battle be joined!"
After a moments delay and argument between the four superstars, the competition would begin.
- Arm-Wrestling Challenge - Brute vs. Proteus Brute defeated Proteus with a Clean Win at 13:46 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: This just seemed to go on forever! Proteus started well and several times forced Brutes arm close toward the winning position. But time and again the Gladiator fought back, several times Massacre made as though he wanted to interfere, Actagon however was wise to this and kept things on the straight and narrow. At last the mighty Brute forced the victory, both competitors were clearly nursing a strained arm at the conclusion. Though Brute managed a gleeful one armed celebration at making it through to the final, he could be heard shouting "I am the strongest" over and over again. There could be no doubt that this event meant a great deal to the giant of a man.
- Singles Bout - Ghengis Khan vs. Renegade Ghengis Khan defeated Renegade with a Khan Nerve Pinch at 7:44 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: After the excitement of the Arm-wrestling, many of the crowd seemed to take this bout as a cue to go find some refreshments. That was a mistake! Renegade fought brilliantly, he owned the bout. It took several minutes for Khan to launch any kind of an offence, landing just two moves before Renegade again went to work. This was an exhibition in absorbing punishment, Khan offered no other resistance until suddenly a Karate Kick, TWIN THRUST and then Khan Nerve Pinch and it was all over.
- Thantos to the Ring - With the sudden triumphant sound of his entrance theme, Thantos made it to the ring. He claimed a microphone then leaned into a turnbuckle admiring his championship belt for a time. Finally as the crowd grew silent he spoke, but man he made them wait!
Thantos: "As your champion, I like to make sure that you the fans get value for money. Never let it be said that I don't always put my title on the line whenever I can. With that in mind, and having to tell you that I can't compete tonight."
He paused and flexed his left leg as though he had an injury, rubbing his thigh theatrically. The fans jeered and hurled abuse as was to be expected.
Thantos: "Really, I'd love to defend my title tonight. However, that will have to wait until March Madness, where yes.. I will indeed defend as you'd expect of the greatest champion of all time. But you people.. you fans, you deserve to see a title bout, don't you agree?"
Of course the fans gave the pop Thantos wanted and roared approval at the idea.
Thantos: "So.. Gladiators.. will you defend your Tag Titles tonight?!"
There was a pause, a significant wait before Brute and Massacre returned to the stage. Never ones to turn down a challenge they agreed, though Brute was clearly struggling with his wounded arm.
Thantos: "Good.. and as a sign of my appreciation I shall make sure that not only do you as Champions are treated with complete respect and that our fans get to see me in the ring. I shall act as special guest referee! Now.. we need a challenger, first two men to show themselves get the title shot."
Within seconds, as though they'd been lurking in readiness, Executioner and Comrade Terror charged toward the ring, wherein Terror grabbed a microphone and roared "We, The Henchmen accept that challenge!"
Game on!
- Galaxian Tag team Title Bout - With Thantos as special guest referee.
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. The Henchmen for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Executioner defeated Brute with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 29:57 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Clearly Brute was not up to the fight, he struggled when using his right arm in any big power move. Though Massacre started in the ring, once Brute was tagged into play The Henchmen kept him there. Thantos denied a couple of good tags to keep the hurt Gladiator in the ring, also on one occasion he gave a very slow count when Terror was down on the canvass. Once Executioner hit his finisher, Thantos fast counted before Massacre could make the save. The Henchmen threw the Gladiators from the ring and continued to celebrate. As the show went off the air, the three men with the three belts stood united in the middle of the ring. An air of sheer tension seemed to descend over the federation, surely this couldn't be good news for any other competitor?
The Henchmen won the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
Overall Card Rating: 2.83

GCW 7 03.28.2087 from Sextans Super-speedway, Sextanis.
- Injury and Suspension Update - Pit Viper injured 7 cards.
- Doc Strongbows News Roundup - Welcome fight fans. Its Friday night it must be time for the Galactic Championship Wrestling to hit the ring! We are only three days away from March Madness, personally I can't wait. Let me tell you that Comrade Terror has accepted Commander Sam's challenge to face him in a Torture Chamber Bout. Man, that should be one war not to be missed! Another great reason to book your broadcast of March Madness. Thantos has said that he will not be granting Star Warrior a title challenge on the big night. Brute will be facing Massif in an Arm-Wrestling bout, and he is said to be furious that the Gladiators are up against The Greek Gods tonight, when he wanted time off to prepare. Mind you, Massif has made no complaint that he is also in action tonight.
Continuing on news about tonight's event, we hear that Pit Viper will be here, though he won't be in action. Good to know that his recovery from that brutal assault by The Society of Death is continuing. We also have not one, but two title bouts tonight! Thantos is eager to prove that he is the greatest champion of all time and is defending again. While The Henchmen will also defend since they won't be able to do so at March Madness.
Anyway, lets get this thing started!
- Backstage plans. - Thantos sits, his fingers steepled before him a moment, elbows on a broad wooden desk, sitting there with both Executioner and Comrade Terror in attendance.. clearly waiting eagerly for their leader to speak.
Thantos: "Omega.. I'll defend against Omega tonight, let Star Warrior watch as I dismantle his father. Tell Exo-King my promise remains, if he stands with us all the way he will be rewarded. This is my federation and it stays that way!"
Thantos banged his fist on the desk, taking a time to admire his title belt, touching his fingers against the engraving of his name. He spoke again with a shrug.
Thantos: "You two had better retain your titles tonight, with all the gold, we have all the power."
Executioner spoke up, slapping his palm at the face of the belt slung over his shoulder.
Executioner: "We'll win.. we always do. I just don't know why we can't defend at March Madness?"
Thantos: "Fool, Terror is facing Sam, a choice I don't completely agree with. As for you, I have plans in mind."
The shot faded as the three men continued to plot.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Vanity Star Warrior defeated Vanity with a Choke Slam at 5:51 Match Notes: Star Warriors frustrations continue to boil as he finished this one sided bout with an unusually vicious Choke Slam. He simply seemed to have no patience with his opponent. What with Thantos declaring that Warrior would be out of the title scene come March Madness, things seem to be getting under the skin of the fan favourite.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Mutant Mutant defeated Pulsar with a Disqualification at 3:53 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: This was a close fight, it went back and forth for the brief duration of the encounter. Mutant caught Pulsar with his TEMPLE GRINDER and had it well locked in, it looked completely inescapable. However, the returning Pit Viper dashed into the ring and smashed Mutant around the head with a chair. After the bell rang, Viper grabbed a microphone and shouted a challenge "Mutant, I want you at March Madness" he roared over the downed form of his proposed opponent. Then lending support to Pulsar, the two Titans made their way from the arena.
- Singles Bout - Lord Nexus vs. Exo-King Exo-King defeated Lord Nexus with a Cross-Body Block at 9:01 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Strength overcame speed in this exciting match-up! Nexus certainly had his moments, but was unable to string together a concerted enough attack to put the King into real trouble. The big man hit the Titan with a series of huge moves toward the end of the bout, and in a risky turn of strategy he took to the top turnbuckle. Smashing Nexus as he struggled to his feet. It was beautifully timed and the referee probably could have counted to 33!
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Greek Gods Brute defeated Actagon with an Atomic Skullcrusher at 7:36 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Clearly the Gladiators want the Tag titles back! They demolished The Greek Gods tonight, it wasn't even close. When the ending came it seemed an inevitability. Proteus attempted the pin rescue but was clotheslined out of the ring by the defending Massacre. Brute, having earned the bell mimed arm-wrestling over the prone body of Actagon, clearing goading Massif about the upcoming challenge at March Madness.
- Singles Bout - Massif vs. Invincible Krakan Massif defeated Invincible Krakan with a Piledriver at 6:29 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Massif seemed completely unconcerned by Brutes earlier antics. He applied himself fully to the bout with Krakan, and it was the smaller man that started the better. However, it soon seemed that he needed to take greater risks in order to take Massif of his feet. He managed two good attempted pins, before he took to the turnbuckle and went for a high risk deathjump. Massif was able to make it to his feet and catch Krakan into a huge Piledriver. Game over.
- Tag Team Title Bout -
- Tag Team Bout - The Henchmen vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Comrade Terror defeated Beast-Rider with an ATOMIC WARHEAD at 16:22 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Was this supposed to be an easy win for the champions? Many fans were certainly thinking so as this encounter came just before March Madness. Seeing as The Henchmen would be unable to defend at the PPV, they were compelled to make a defence directly before or after that event. The Croppers certainly weren't playing ball and took to the ring by storm, they gave the champions hell and came close to a huge upset.
- Titan Death Match - Commander Sam vs. Wolf Commander Sam defeated Wolf with a SAMS ATOMIC DROP at 18:29 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Was this an attempt by Thantos and his cronies to soften Sam up before March Madness? It looked that way to many fans, and it may well have worked, this was an absolute war! Sam recorded a great victory, he just would not give up. Wolf had drawn blood with his SAVAGE FACE CLAW and Sam wore the crimson mask for the last half of the encounter. Thus far the year hasn't been a great one for the Gladiator. Something seems to be holding him back from reaching his full potential.
- A backstage corridor. - The camera moves down the corridor, its empty and eerily quiet. As the footage continues the crowd start to whistle and jeer. Then around the corner is seen Omega. The camera comes to a stop, recording the veteran star from a distance. A figure is seen approaching Omega, the two men engage in conversation spending a minute or two locked in deep discussion. Yet all that can be seen of the mystery shadowed figure is a hand extending as the two men shake on some sort of an agreement. Omega then makes his way to and beyond the camera as he makes his way toward the ring. His music hitting as he emerges shortly thereafter into the arena. Who was Omega meeting and why?
- Galaxian Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Omega for the Galaxian Championship Thantos defeated Omega with a MASTERLOCK at 2:15 Match Rating: 1.25 Match Notes: Thantos was never in trouble, dispatching the challenger in a straight forward manner. Having beaten Omega, Thantos stood and turned to collect his championship belt. Well he got it, full in the face! Star Warrior had emerged from the crowd, grabbing that belt and running it full pelt into the champion. Then he hit a great NOVA LAUNCH and left Thantos laying in the ring as he helped his father toward the backstage area.
- Fury Strikes. - Before Star Warrior and Omega had made it from the arena, Thantos was back to his feet, holding his head as he leaned into the ropes for support. He clutched a microphone and roared angrily. Thantos: "Star Warrior! You want me at March Madness, you got me! you're a part of the title match, its now a Triple Threat Match!" The champion hurled aside the microphone, gingerly nursing his bruised head as he picked up his belt. Meanwhile, Star Warrior having got what he wanted stood with arms aloft, drinking in the cheers of the fans as the show went off the air.
