March Madness 03.31.2087 from Maxus Trinary Towers, Auriga.
- ..Spacebeam.. - GCW March Madness. Brought to you by Spacebeam. "The future of chocolate is here" Proud sponsors of Galactic Championship Wrestling.
Chocolate that gives as much to taste as you give to life.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Pit Viper injured 6 cards.
- Doc Strongbows News Roundup. - Welcome to Auriga for March Madness!
We have a Triple Threat Match for the Galaxian Championship as our main event! However, its debatable how much of a three cornered match that will be.
Elsewhere, Brute and Massif go head to head in an Arm-Wrestling Challenge as they fight for the title of The GCW's strongest man.
Comrade Terror and Commander Sam square off in a Torture Chamber, which is sure to set new levels in brutality.
Plus, Pit Viper begins what he calls his "Revenge Streak" when he takes on one of the three men who tried to end his career: Mutant.
And that's not all, lets get down to ringside and get things started!
- Singles Bout - Death Knight vs. Beast-Rider Death Knight defeated Beast-Rider with a COSMIC LANCE at 11:39 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Great start to the night as both men gave it 100% from the off. Clearly neither wrestler wanted to become the first casualty of the event. Beast Rider took Knight for the BULLDOG RIDE early, the referee's hand was coming down for the three count at the kick out. From there the Space Cropper took the initiative, controlling much of the bout. Until at about the 10 minute mark Knight lifted a boot as Beast Rider charged him in the turnbuckle. Both men were down in the middle of the ring, as the count reached seven, Death Knight was first to his feet and began his first real offence of the match. The COSMIC LANCE gave him the victory in a bout he looked destined to lose.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Pulsar with a Knife-Edge at 7:55 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: This looked like it could be a quick and one sided affair to begin with. Queen dominated the early going and within two minutes had landed a number of damaging moves and locked the young Titan into the CHECKMATE. Pulsar however made it to the ropes and was able to gather his strength. The bout then flowed to and fro, until it spilled out of the ring. This played into the more experienced Killer Queens hands. By the time the action moved back between the ropes it seemed only a matter of time before the three count came.
- Singles Bout - Vanity vs. Ghengis Khan Ghengis Khan defeated Vanity with a Standing Karate Kick at 3:03 Match Rating: 1.75 Match Notes: After the excitement of the first two bouts, the excitement levels dropped a little allowing the concession stands to do a decent trade. Khan took a very straight forward win, though Vanity had his share of attacks he never looked like really causing trouble for his opponent.
- Revenge - The camera cuts to find Doc Strongbow with microphone on hand, he's knocking on a closed door. Moments later it opens and out steps Pit Viper, there's a great reaction from the crowd as the returning titan seems ready and eager to hit the ring.
Strongbow: "Pit Viper, great to see you back in action tonight. How are the injuries clearing up? Will you be at full capacity tonight?"
Viper: "Thanks Doc, yeah its great to be back. I have just one thing in mind: Revenge."
Strongbow: "Man, I don't think I've ever seen you so focused before."
Viper: "Krakan and his cronies tried to end my career. Its payback time. Now excuse me, I've a mutant to crush"
Viper moved away, moving purposefully toward the ring area, then in a screen tinted a slight dark red the footage of Vipers beating was shown. He'd been in a cage match with Krakan and after losing was cuffed to the outside of the cage as Mutant and Khan struck him repeatedly with steel chairs. It only ended as Krakan smashed the helpless Viper with the ring steps. Leaving a bloodied Viper hanging from that cuff as he sagged against the cage.
- Titan Death Match - Pit Viper vs. Mutant Pit Viper defeated Mutant with a Knife-Edge at 11:19 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Wow! Viper promised revenge and he got it! After just four minutes Viper put Mutant through a ringside table, then rammed him face first into a second. Leaving Mutant wearing a face-full of blood. Back into the ring it went, only to spill out of it several minutes later. Viper hit a devastating running bulldog that mangled his opponent into the railings. Much to the delight of the fans, who now only inches from the action saw Mutant propped into those railings and pummeled time and again with stomping kicks and an elbow drop. But Viper was finished yet, after a spell in the ring once more it spilled outside and near defenceless Mutant was whipped into each of the four ring posts in turn. By the time the pin came in the ring centre there was a hushed awe about the arena. What a message from Viper and what a hint at the anger that flows in this young mans veins.
- Singles Bout - Massacre vs. Actagon Massacre defeated Actagon with a MASSACRE SLAM at 6:09 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: After the ring had been cleared leaving only a red stain on the canvass to mark the previous battle this bout had a lot to live up to. Actagon started very well, showing some great basic wrestling skills, an exhibition of throws, locks and holds that seemed to have Massacre bamboozled. But it all changed with Actagon was caught in a sudden and thunderous MASSACRE SLAM. It was the first of four consecutive such slams that left the Gladiator with a prone Actagon to pin.
- Brutes Arm-Wrestling Challenge. - Doc Strongbow made his way to the ring which had already been set up with a heavy table and pads for the forthcoming challenge. He lifted a microphone and made a brief introduction.
Strongbow: "Now.. we are set to decide who truly is the strongest man in the GCW. Brute and Massif are set to go at in an Arm-Wrestling match."
A crack of thunder sounded, the lights dimmed and from the back stage the roaring voice of Brute could be heard.
Brute: "Shut the hell up."
The lights flashed, pyrotechnics roared to the roof and Brute appeared through the smoke, yelling again loudly.
Brute: "The Gladiators have arrived!"
It was obvious that Brute really wanted this and was ready to rock and roll.
Massif made his usual entrance thereafter, a much more low key affair.
- Arm-Wrestling Bout - Brute vs. Massif Massif defeated Brute with a Clean Win at 8:27 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Massif took the win after a real back and forth struggle, there was nothing in it. The arena erupted into a mass cheer as Brutes hand hit the table and he lost the challenge he'd put such heart into. After the result Brute leaped up and charged Massif, who promptly caught him and crushed him into the table with a massive VOLCANIC DROP. The big man left the ring to rapturous applause, leaving the crestfallen Gladiator sprawled helplessly in the centre of the ring.
- Fatal Four Way Bout - Exo-King vs. Wolf vs. Invincible Krakan vs. Lord Nexus Invincible Krakan defeated Exo-King with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 22:37 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Nexus and Krakan squared off early, leaving the other two to go at one another two. The two enemies traded blows and attacks both in and out of the ring. Exo-King then recovered against Wolf's early attacks and grabbing an arm and leg of the wildman hurled him over the top rope where he crashed through a table and vanished amid the debris. King delivered a crushing clothesline to the back of Nexus' head, catching the Titan completely off guard, he was able to roll from the ring but played no further part in the bout. With Wolf back to his feet the three men continued to brawl and it wasn't too long before the villains turned on the Gladiator and beat him soundly. Then in a moment of pure back-stabbing optimism Krakan stunned Exo-King with his finisher and claimed the three count.
- Torture Chamber Bout - Commander Sam vs. Comrade Terror Commander Sam defeated Comrade Terror with a SAMS ATOMIC DROP at 20:16 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Sam and Terror waged war, by the end of the bout both men had been busted open. This kind of a match seemed to suit both men well. The cruel Titanium bars seeming to encourage them to greater depths of brutality. Sam particularly seemed to enjoy bouncing his opponents head off of the bars. This really could have gone either way, by the end with the ring slick with both blood and sweat Terror lost his footing and Sam pounced with a series of high impact moves. His SAMS ATOMIC DROP into the Titanium was a horribly effective finisher. Sam walked backstage clutching his ribs and bleeding from the brow. Terror however left on a stretcher, looking much the worse for wear.
- Backstage. - The camera shows us Star Warrior and Omega, they embrace as the younger man then makes his way toward the ring, the crowd cheering louder than at any point all night long. Once Warrior had left the scene, Omega waited a moment before he was joined by a mysterious figure, who largely shrouded in shadow kept himself largely hidden as the two men spoke. As they shook hands and parted, it could be seen that this unknown figure was wearing what appeared to be a well tailored business suit. There was no other hint as to his identity. Omega moved away, offering no clues as to the meaning of these meetings.
- Galaxian Title Bout. -
- Triple Threat Match - Thantos vs. Executioner vs. Star Warrior Thantos defeated Star Warrior with a MASTERLOCK at 12:09 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Star Warrior put up one hell of a fight, but it was clear from the beginning that this was in reality a handicap bout. After five minutes, Warrior had tossed both his opponents out of the ring, soaking up the cheers of the fan. But such celebrations were short lived. The two villains worked well together to wear Warrior down, he simply could not stop the dual assaults that threatened to overwhelm him. Toward the end Thantos watched as Executioner smashed the hero with a couple of back to back HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE. Star Warriors chance of taking the title was crushed as Thantos used his MASTERLOCK to force the tap-out. He refused to release the lock until the referee threatened to disqualify him. Warrior rolled to the edge of the ring and writhed in pain as the champion held aloft his belt, celebrating his continued dominance.
However, there was more blood to come tonight as the despicable duo dragged Star Warrior into the middle of the ring, where Thantos delivered a vicious face first DDT into the face of his championship title. The show ended with Massif charging to the ring, causing the attackers to flee.

GCW 8 04.04.2087 from Ameb Arcade, Lepus.
- Injury - Suspension Update - Pit Viper injured 5 cards Mutant injured 2 cards Comrade Terror injured 1 card.
- Doc Strongbows News Roundup. - Welcome grapple fans to the GCW, where the fallout from March Madness continues. Both Mutant and Terror have declared themselves unfit to compete tonight. Not so surprising given the sheer brutality of the matches they endured.
Thantos has had a big part in arranging the schedule for tonight's show, I'm told he's been using his influence as champion to really bend things to his will. What with his men holding the tag-team titles too, there isn't a lot that the rest of the locker room can do about it.
The Evil Gamesmaster has put himself in a non-title match with Commander Sam. He's also putting Massif and Krakan in a cage match in an effort to weaken a couple of his title contenders.
I don't have details on the rest of the line up as of yet, Thantos isn't playing ball with anybody back stage at the moment. I wish I had more to share with you right now.. but hey, lets get down to the ring.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Death Knight Death Knight defeated Pulsar with a COSMIC LANCE at 7:21 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Death Knight hit the ring in a storm, taking the fight to Pulsar from the opening bell. He belied his usual cumbersome nature and managed to match the more agile approach of his opponent. The Titan managed a few decent moves but was never allowed to get into a real rhythm.
- Singles Bout - Lord Nexus vs. Killer Queen Lord Nexus defeated Killer Queen with a Flying Leg Scissors at 8:28 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: A surprisingly close bout, the action going back and forth throughout. Nexus managed to escape two CHECKMATE's late in the match, then a handful of high impact moves was enough to turn the tide. It was a real fight to keep Queen's shoulders down at the end, he slapped the canvass over and over once he'd lost. He came so close to a great win.
- Titan Death Match - Exo-King vs. Pit Viper Exo-King defeated Pit Viper with a DEATH VISE at 18:07 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Exo-King seemed out for blood from the beginning. Though it was Viper who started the better, he hit his VENOM BLAST in the early going and came close to victory. However, once King kicked out the bout really changed. Viper found himself going through a table and meeting a chair face to face. The already injured Titan had little left to give once he was held in the DEATH VISE, blood seeping through his mask as he finally tapped out.
- Backstage Plotting. - Executioner is seen standing before a closed door, arms folded across his chest. Fresh from the ring comes Exo-King and The Henchman steps aside allowing King to pass, the camera follows the big man inside. Thantos lifts from a leather couch and lifts a hand to high-five the giant, before handing him a stuffed envelope.
Thantos: "Good work.. you keep hurting who I tell you to and you'll go far. I'm not going to allow any damn Titan to get some revenge streak in his mind"
Exo-King "We've got your back."
It seemed the King was a man of few words, he nodded and left showing a clear respect for Thantos, though there seemed more to the matter than we'd seen.
King left the room, the door closing behind him. Thantos settled back onto his couch, before standing moments later as The Gladiators arrived. The three men stood and eyed one another, there was clearly some bad blood here. Quietly in the background, Executioner entered and continued to stand guard, this time inside the room.
Massacre: "We want our titles back.. we want them now!"
Thantos: "Mind your tongue Gladiator. If you work with me, support my decisions. Then you'll get your title shot. I run this federation, whether you like it or not"
Massacre: "Fine. We get the titles, you get our loyalty."
Thantos: "Then we'll have a number one challenger play off tonight. The Gods against the Croppers in one semi-final. You two get a bye, I don't see there be any challengers to fight you in the other semi. Next week will be the final. I've a feeling you'll win.
Thantos grinned and slapped Massacre on the back in a firm yet friendly manner. The Gladiator seemed to accept and turned to leave, an angry looking Brute following him. As they passed the door the bigger Gladiator snarled menacingly at Executioner.
With the meeting concluded, The Henchman returned to guarding the door from the outside. Moments later he went down in a blur of action as Wolf charged him, the two men were seen brawling in the corridor before the action switched back to the ring.
- Cosmic Cage Bout - Massif vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Massif with a Backward Leg Sweep at 29:05 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Both men gave it absolutely everything, the action going back and forth with a series of high impact maneuvers. As exhaustion threatened to become the winner Massif caught his opponent with his VOLCANIC SLAM, but he failed to get all of it and Krakan kicked out just in the nick of time. That seemed to take the fight out of Massif and a couple of Backward Leg-Sweeps were enough to claim a memorable bout. The crowd rose as one to applaud both competitors even if their favourite lost.
- Tag Team Number One Contender - Semi Final. -
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Renegade defeated Proteus with a Cross-Body Block at 14:11 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Proteus had a bad night, he was a real weak link tonight. Though he tried hard and gave it all, nothing he did seemed to come off for him. Wisely the Croppers isolated the bigger of the Greeks and took it to him. Actagon fought like a dervish on the few occasions he made it into the ring, he broke up several pin attempts on his partner but toward the end he just plain ran out of fight. However, it was good to see the Greek Gods take the victory well, the four men embraced in the ring after the fight.
- Backstage Aftermath. - Back to Thantos' office, where the Gamesmaster is found polishing his title belt, buffing the face of it as the door flies open and Executioner stumbles in.
Executioner: "I want Wolf! Tonight!"
Thantos looked up, seeing that his comrade in arms had the obvious scars of a recent SAVAGE FACE CLAW staining his features.
Thantos: "You want him, fine.. but you're on your own. I have a match to prepare for."
Executioner: "Done!"
Once more the action returned to the arena where a hastily arranged match was about to begin.
- Singles Bout - Executioner vs. Wolf Executioner defeated Wolf with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 1:55 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: What a let down! Seems the backstage brawl had taken it out of both men, Wolf especially. He had little fight in him. Executioner was overjoyed and stomped his opponent into the corner after the bell. The crowd seemed unhappy with both the result and the brief nature of the encounter.
- Tag Team Number One Contender - Semi Final - Brute and Massacre strolled to the ring, seeming to be without a care in the world.
Brute: "Shut the hell up, The Gladiators are here!"
The two men strolled about the ring, clearly relishing the moment, after a couple of bluffs Massacre brought the microphone to his mouth and spoke with an obvious chuckle.
Massacre: "Well here we are, but no challenger, looks like we're into the final..."
Before he could continue speaking Omega's music hit the arena to a great pop from the crowd, he emerged at the arena entrance and waited for calm to prevail.
Omega: "Your challenge is right here!"
Massacre: "You old man, don't make me laugh!"
Star Warrior: "No us!"
The crowd went wild as Warrior emerged, a clearly infuriated pair of Gladiators showed their frustration, Omega spoke one more time before the father and son team charged the ring.
Omega: " You can call us Bloodline.. and we're here to win!"
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Bloodline Brute defeated Omega with a DECAPITATOR at 9:43 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: It was a great effort by the newly formed tag-team. Star Warrior showed why he's one of the best the GCW has to offer. Unfortunately his father was a step behind. By the way The Gladiators celebrated you'd have thought they'd won the titles right there and then. Any intention Brute or Massacre may have had of further brutality was derailed by a fired up Star Warrior who was clearly furious that he'd missed making the pin save at the critical moment.
- Non Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Commander Sam Thantos defeated Commander Sam with a MASTERLOCK at 8:16 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Thantos really took it to Sam, showing that despite his political shenanigans he truly is a great champion. By the time The MASTERLOCK was in place it ended swiftly. Sam tapped out and writhed in pain as the lock was released and Thantos drank in the boos of the crowd. He'd made it half way down the ramp to the entrance before Thantos stopped and turned back, smashing his belt into Sam's face and then placing him back into his dreaded finisher. The show went off air with Sam arched in pain, unable to escape that wicked lock.

GCW 9 04.11.2087 from Mizar Solarsphere, Ursa Major.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Pit Viper injured 4 cards. Mutant injured 1 card.
- Doc Strongbows News Roundup. - Welcome, its Friday night and its time for the stars of The GCW to shine.
First up, good news. I can confirm that following the events of last weeks show neither Commander Sam or Pit Viper have suffered any further injury or ill effect.
We have another full show for you tonight. Thantos has decreed that Comrade Terror won't be competing tonight. Rumour has it that he'll be serving as bodyguard to the champion, a role taken by Executioner last week.
The Greek Gods have challenged Star Warrior and Omega to compete as Bloodline once more tonight. They've promised a good natured bout to help the father and son team develop their tag skills.
Exo-King and Massif clash in a cage bout in a bout drawn up by Thantos. I don't imagine its any surprise that Massif is currently listed as the number one challenger to the title.
The Champion himself steps into the ring with Pit Viper. The reasons behind this match up are unclear, with luck we'll learn more later.
Lets not forget that The Gladiators clash with The Space Croppers in a battle to become the number one tag team contenders.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Mutant Pulsar defeated Mutant with a WHIRLWIND at 1:35 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: Mutant was badly out of sorts here, it seemed almost as though he'd forgotten why he was in the ring. This didn't slow Pulsar down however, he hit a handful of swift moves before his WHIRLWIND brought a very early end to proceedings. More experience for the rookie perhaps but little else positive to draw from the match.
- Singles Bout - Commander Sam vs. Invincible Krakan Commander Sam defeated Invincible Krakan with a SAMS ATOMIC DROP at 11:05 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: If Sam was feeling any ill effects from his encounter with Thantos last week, it certainly didn't show. Both men traded blows in the middle of the ring, an exchange that favoured Sam. He went to work on Krakan, putting together a series of moves that wore his opponent down. Things changed when Krakan went out of the ring, he lifted his game there and was able to slow down the assault he was under. With the match finally back in the ring, once more Krakan seemed to have the better of things, indeed it seemed that Sam was tiring. From nowhere he landed his SAMS ATOMIC DROP and earned a hard fought victory.
- Tag Team Bout - Bloodline vs. Greek Gods Actagon defeated Omega with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP at 5:44 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: As expected this was a good natured bout, Star Warrior started well and showed good skills in the early going. Omega was perhaps a little short of the level set by his son. He managed a decent show of things, but there was no real surprise when the Gods took the win. How much longer will Star Warrior be prepared to spend in tag action?
- Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Wolf with a CHECKMATE at 1:32 Match Rating: 0.25 Match Notes: Given the short length of this match, it seems amazing that Wolf escaped from the CHECKMATE on four occasions, before he finally submitted to the fifth. A completely disconsolate Wolf remained in the ring afterward, he sat in the corner of the ring with his head in his hands. Long after the bout ended and the crowd had finished their cheering he stayed in place, looking a lonely and dejected figure.
- Wolf Speaks. - Some time later Wolf remained in the corner of the ring. The ring announcer paced nervously on the apron, clearly unwilling to enter the ring until the Gladiator had left. A couple of referees arrived, seemingly to convince Wolf to head on out. Before they had the chance he stood and claimed a microphone, he spoke in a voice that lacked his usual fire, devoid of the emotion he usually showed in such abundance.
Wolf: "I've had enough. I quit...."
Wolf dropped the microphone and slid from the ring, walking slowly back up the entrance ramp. His head bowed as he ignored the beseeching fans on either side of the walkway.
Sure he'd had a poor run of late, but could this really be the last time the wildman would be seen in the ring?
- Singles Bout - Lord Nexus vs. Executioner Lord Nexus defeated Executioner with a TITAN DROP at 8:26 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Good bout. Executioner performed very well in the early stages, battering Nexus both in and out of the ring. He used his Nerve Pinch to good effect before hitting bigger, bolder moves. The match spilled out of the ring, again Executioner got the better of things, he didn't manage to do enough damage however which allowed the greater speed and agility of Nexus to come into effect. He managed to keep on the move and began to swing the match in his favour.
- Tag Team Number One Contender Bout - Final -
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Massacre defeated Renegade with a MASSACRE SLAM at 5:59 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Massacre ended the bout by hitting both his finishers in turn. The second was enough to finish Renegade. The Croppers gave everything, but tonight they were simply out classed and the result never looked in any real doubt. After the win The Gladiators spent a moment miming the wearing of belts about their waists, clearly eager to get their title shot. It remained to be seen when Thantos and his Henchmen would allow this to take place.
- Backstage. - The camera settles on a black hover-car with dark tinted windows. Circling it slowly we get to see the vehicle from all angles. Finally a door opens and Omega emerges, he's showered and changed into his normal clothes since his bout. As he closes the door behind him a suited figure is seen in the back seat, he's folding a briefcase after shuffling a pile of papers inside.
Omega: Good, keep me informed of your progress.. the sooner the better.
The car then moves away, gliding from view before the action returns to the ring area.
- Cosmic Cage Bout - Massif vs. Exo-King Massif defeated Exo-King with a VOLCANIC DROP at 11:17 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: The two big men put on a great show, the bad blood between the two of them clearly shown. They traded blows in the middle of the ring, two immovable objects battering one another. Massif was the first man off his feet but it took an age to come! The crowd popped loudly as it happened, shortly thereafter King locked in his Death Vise, yet somehow Massif broke free. King went for a huge clothesline but found himself the victim of an Overhead Toss out of the ring and against the cage wall. That was the turning point and a single VOLCANIC DROP was the end of things.
- The Gamesmaster - Thantos and Comrade Terror are seen back stage heading toward the arena. They are met by the bruised form of Exo-King who stops in the way of Thantos and extends an expectant hand.
Thantos: "You get paid when you win, I don't deal with losers"
Exo-King growled made a move on Thantos, towering over the smaller man as he did so.
Exo-King: "Don't think you can treat me like one of your lackeys"
Comrade Terror came between the two men and pushed the battle worn King into the wall, pinning him there with an arm to his throat.
Thantos: "You work hard.. maybe one day I'll promote you to the status of my lackey!"
The champion laughed and left Terror in charge of restraining the furious Exo-King.
- Non Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Pit Viper Thantos defeated Pit Viper with a MASTERLOCK at 4:16 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Thantos demolished Viper, ending a very one sided bout with his infamous MASTERLOCK. Having earned the win he gripped Viper by the mask and spoke threateningly to The Titan. It couldn't be heard what was said, but clearly it wasn't pleasant. Then Thantos climbed the turnbuckle and held his tile aloft, drinking in the reaction of the crowd as he delighted in his domination of the GCW. The screen faded to black before showing a brief montage of Wolf's best moments in the federation.

GCW 10 04.18.2087 from The Sickle Den, Leo.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Pit Viper injured 3 cards
- Doc Strongbows News Roundup - Good evening, welcome to the GCW, I'm Doc Strongbow your host for tonight.
First, let me update you on the shocking events we saw last week when Wolf walked out.
(The screen shows the footage from the previous week, Wolf declaring "I quit" and leaving the arena. There followed a moment of silence the screen blank before the Doc returned)
Wolf has issued a brief statement announcing his retirement from professional wrestling. I'm sorry to say that I have no other news, it looks as though his career is over.
Well, ummm, onto better news. Tonight sees the draw for the qualifiers for entrance into the Royal Rumble at the upcoming PPV "Battlelines 2087". Remember to contact your supplier for details of how you can view this great event.
On to the draw, and you'll be pleased to know that the random match generator is one thing that remains beyond the control of our champion Thantos. He of course is omitted from the draw, as is Massif, The Henchmen and The Gladiators who will all be involved in title bouts on the night.
So here goes, first off we'll draw those three wrestlers lucky enough to receive a draw directly into the Royal Rumble!
Death Knight, Exo-King and Actagon go straight into the event. Now onto the head to heads.
Those to be decided tonight will be...
Renegade vs Krakan Commander Sam v Lord Nexus Pit Viper v Ghengis Khan Omega v Beast Rider
Next week the final three places will be decided as follows...
Mutant v Pulsar Vanity v Killer Queen Star Warrior v Proteus
That's enough from me, lets get down to the action.
- Royal Rumble Qualification Bouts -
- Backstage. - Commander Sam wanders along a corridor before passing through a doorway where we see him interrupting a conversation between Lord Nexus and Pit Viper. Nexus and Sam move face to face, staring at one another. Long moments of silence between the two men before Sam speaks.
Commander Sam: "Good luck to you my friend, may the best man win tonight."
Lord Nexus: "Thanks Sam, and to you. I'm looking forward to it."
The two men shook hands and briefly embraced, Sam then looked over toward Pit Viper.
Commander Sam: "Hey kid, what was Thantos saying to you last week? He looked pretty damn pissed"
Pit Viper: "The usual, he wanted me to back off with chasing revenge against Krakan and co. The Royal Rumble puts me up against Ghengis Khan. Wish I could see his face!"
Commander Sam laughed and nodded, rubbing his hand over his chin a moment as he considered.
Commander Sam: "Where's Pulsar, if he's around, have him close by tonight. I wouldn't put it past Thantos to get involved in your bout."
The two Titans nodded their agreement, high-fiving Sam in turn. Then the men separated, game faces firmly in place.
- Qualifier A - Renegade vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Renegade with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 12:22 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Krakan had the best of the bout for the most part. His Krakan Skullcrusher slowed Renegade down early and its fair to say that he did well to survive so long. Renegade just would not stay down, he gave it everything, outclassed from the beginning it came as no surprise that things unfolded as they did.
- Qualifier B - Commander Sam vs. Lord Nexus Lord Nexus defeated Commander Sam with a TITAN DROP at 33:53 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Wow, they put on a show! Nexus survived four SAMS ATOMIC DROP's as the fight went back and forth. Sam seeking to take the bout into a battling scrap and Nexus taking to the air at every opportunity. A real clash of styles, twenty minutes in and both men were down in the middle of the ring following a thunderous Double Clothesline. Nexus was first to his feet and waited for Sam to stand, before nailing him with a great dropkick. That seemed to be the turning of the tide, Nexus did brilliantly to not get drawn into Sam's sort of a scrap as the match wore on, showing great energy to claim the win.
- Qualifier C - Pit Viper vs. Ghengis Khan Pit Viper defeated Ghengis Khan with a VENOM BLAST at 13:31 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: This was a bad tempered bout from the first. The two men were at each other even before the bell rang, trading blows and taking the match into a real free for all scrap. It was a miracle that nobody was suspended, Pulsar was on hand, having taken a seat with the commentary team to add his views to the proceedings. If Thantos or Krakan had any plans of organising an attack it never materialized. Certainly Pulsar did his reputation the world of good by not getting involved and refusing to condone the excessive violence of the match on show. Pit Viper deserved the win, though it could have ended differently. There weren't many wrestling skills on show, just a great deal of anger.
- Qualifier D - Omega vs. Beast-Rider Beast-Rider defeated Omega with a Beast Knee Shuffle at 12:53 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Omega continued his poor run of form here, but it should be said his performance was a lot better than of late. Not exactly rolling back the years, just showing some real competitive spirit. Beast Rider seemed please to end the bout when he did, the younger man had the better of things but was clearly wary of Omega's experience and ring savvy.
- Triple Threat Cosmic Cage Bout - Exo-King vs. Massif vs. Star Warrior Star Warrior defeated Exo-King with a Running Star Blast at 16:58 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Massif and Exo-King wanted to beat the hell out of each other, Star Warrior was more interested in winning the bout. The two big men clashed repeatedly, quaking the ring as they did so. King crushed Star Warrior through a table, and he was only just able to crawl back into the ring before being counted out. Whilst he continued to recover Massif turned the fight in his favour and rocked Exo-King with a series of brutal Head Butts. Massif threw his nemesis through the ropes and turned into a Running Star Blast by the recovered Star Warrior. Game over.
- Singles Bout - Vanity vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Vanity with a CHECKMATE at 22:35 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Killer Queen took the win in the battle between the GCW's most flambouyant stars. An entertaining bout saw the action switch back and forth. The two men were well matched and a series of core wrestling moves dominated, it almost seemed as though a mutual respect had them keeping things pretty clean. In a match-up that had underhandedness written all over it, the two men impressed with a clinic of wrestling 101.
- Non Title Bout -
- Tag Team Bout - The Henchmen vs. Greek Gods Executioner defeated Proteus with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 11:23 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The Henchman proved that they wouldn't be any push overs as champions. Though the Greeks showed the better tag skills they were undone by the sheer will to win of the champions. They celebrated in the ring as though they'd just won the biggest fight of their lives, obviously warming to their role as title holders in the empire that Thantos built.
- Backstage. - Thantos is backstage, stretching prior to his match with Mutant tonight. Going through his pre-match routine, he pauses and stands straight just as the victorious Executioner and Comrade Terror return. They hold the tag belts aloft and delight in the praise of their leader. Before they can enjoy themselves any more, Exo-King pushes in through the door and ignoring the other men jabs a finger into Thantos' face.
Exo-King: "Whats the big idea, putting me in the ring with those two?"
Thantos gives a nod and The Henchmen tackle King to the floor, proceeding to beat on the already bruised big man. With his belt hanging over his shoulder the champion leans in and snarls at Exo-King.
Thantos: "Things will go a lot smoother for you, once you've accepted that I'm in charge around here. I brought you to this Fed, I can end your career just as fast if need be."
Leaving his two lieutenants to administer the beating, Thantos headed toward the ring.
- Non Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Mutant Thantos defeated Mutant with a Cross-Body Block at 2:46 Match Rating: 1.75 Match Notes: The show ended with a whimper as Thantos took a routine win. Mutant was outmatched from the start. The Champion took the opportunity to showcase his skills and work the crowd. At the final bell both of The Henchmen joined Thantos in the ring. Climbing a turnbuckle each they held aloft their belts, just a few moments later Exo-King climbed through the ropes and climbed the fourth turnbuckle, his hands aloft as he showed his allegiance to Thantos. The show went off air as the forces of evil continued to gather.

GCW 11 04.25.2087 from The Saiph House, Orion
- Injury and Suspension Update - Pit Viper injured 2 cards.
- Doc Strongbows News Roundup - Good evening fight fans, welcome to the final GCW card before we head into our next big PPV "Battlelines". Tonight we see the final three elimination bouts for entry to the Royal Rumble, the winner of which will, according to tradition, earn himself a title shot.
Tensions between The Titans and Krakan's Society of Death are boiling over right now. Nexus and Krakan step into the ring together this evening in what should be a huge match-up.
With his title shot coming up in a couple of days, Massif finds himself up against Exo-King. Its a bout arranged by Thantos, lots of interest in seeing how the King handles himself now that he seems to be under the complete influence of the champion.
Finally, Omega has promised to shed some light onto his recent series of mischievous and shadowy meetings.
So stay tuned, it shaping up to be a great show. Lets get down to the ring where we begin with those Royal Rumble qualification bouts.
- Royal Rumble Qualification Bouts -
- Qualifier E - Mutant vs. Pulsar Pulsar defeated Mutant with a Flying Leg Scissors at 0:30 Match Rating: 0.25 Match Notes: Mutant did it again, he just plain forgot what he was doing in the ring. This granted Pulsar an easy win and a straight forward route to the Royal Rumble. Many fans in the arena laughed as Mutant fell to the canvass after the first and only move of the bout. He just lay there, seeming to grin to himself while the Ref counted the three.
- Qualifier F - Vanity vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Vanity with a cross-body block at 5:20 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Queen took the win in another match-up between these two colourful competitors. This seemed at times to be more of a pose-down than a wrestling match, both men were living up to their reputations as the master of glamour in the fledgling GCW.
- Qualifier G - Star Warrior vs. Proteus Star Warrior defeated Proteus with a Disqualification at 16:22 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: This was a good, clean bout for the most part. Star Warrior had the better of things generally and that only continued as the bout wore on. Finally Proteus showed his frustration at being unable to get the better of his opponent. It was an unusually ill tempered moment from the Greek that marred an otherwise very fair encounter. Thantos is unlikely to be happy that his arch-rival has a place in the Royal Rumble and a potential title shot should he win.
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Brute defeated Beast-Rider with a DECAPITATOR at 23:29 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: The Gladiators kept up the pressure on the champions as they seek to reclaim the tag team titles. The bout could have ended early as Massacre beat Beast Rider mercilessly in the opening few moments. Managing to make a desperate tag to Renegade, the Croppers regrouped and staged a great comeback. They made a real contest out of this and it turned out to be a hard fought match-up.
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Executioner Executioner defeated Omega with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 0:54 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: Well this didn't take long! Omega really showed his age today as he was caught by his opponent with a few big moves, he was simply unable to find the skills and speed that used to be the cornerstone of his wrestling ability.
- Omega Speaks. - After his very quick defeat Omega dallied in the ring, finding himself a microphone and addressing the crowd.
Omega: Ladies and gentleman, thank you for the taking time to come and watch the GCW, we appreciate it. However, things are not what they used to be around here. Being champion used to mean that you fought with respect. Respect for yourself, fellow wrestlers and most importantly, the fans. Thantos has changed all of that, I tell you now, I will not accept his behaviour without a fight. One way or another things are going to have to change.
Omega then discarded the microphone and made his way from the arena. The crowd seemed a little nonplussed as to what he had in mind. Clearly the legendary grappler was not prepared to accept Thantos' iron grip on the GCW laying down.
- Titan Death Match - Lord Nexus vs. Invincible Krakan Lord Nexus defeated Invincible Krakan with a TITAN DROP at 13:47 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: These two men just do not get along! The bout was ill tempered from start to finish. Either wrestler could have taken the win, but it was Lord Nexus that hit a perfectly timed TITAN DROP to claim the victory. Following the ringing of the bell both Mutant and Ghengis Khan charged down the ramp towards the ring. However, before they could do much damage, both Pulsar and Pit Viper jumped from the crowd and the battle was truly joined in the ring centre. With the numbers being equal, Krakan and his men seemed less inclined to continue the attack. Before long they'd been chased from the arena. The Titans stood triumphant in the ring, at least for now.
- Singles Bout - Commander Sam vs. Exo-King Exo-King defeated Commander Sam with a Brawl outside the ring. at 8:42 Match Notes: Sam proved yet again that he loves a good scrap. This bout was a tough one to call, it often seemed like Exo-King would have the power to get the win, but every time he looked set to turn the screw Sam just upped his game. He sure does excel in this kind of a fight, his disqualification seemed long overdue when the Referee finally had seen enough. Age may have dulled some of Sam's skills, but there is no question that his sheer will to win remains undiminished.
- Singles Bout - Massif vs. Comrade Terror Massif defeated Comrade Terror with a piledriver at 14:32 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Terror served Thantos well in his attempt to slow Massif down before his title bout at Battlelines. However, Massif was able to turn this into a real test of strength, the kind of contest he prefers! Once he had managed to draw Terror into competing with big moves and strength, there seemed only one outcome. The stronger man was always going to win. It should be said however that Terror had the better start, his initial gameplan was right on the money, seeking to compete in terms of pure wrestling skills.
- Non Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Actagon Thantos defeated Actagon with a MASTERLOCK at 4:01 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The champion took the win and it was pretty straight forward, he seemed annoyed that Actagon escaped the MASTERLOCK twice before tapping out at the third attempt. Thantos seemed in good shape ahead of Battlelines, with the win in the record books he tossed Actagon over the top rope, letting him stand alone in the ring he seemed to own.
- Thantos in the Ring. - With microphone in hand, Thantos leaned against the ropes and stared directly into the camera as he spoke in a low, menacing tone.
Thantos: Omega, I don't give a damn what you do. I own this federation, you best get used to the idea.
With that he slid from the ring, the show fading off air as he made his way from the arena.
