Thats a very good point Cernunnos. Thantos has to defend against Exo-King at the next PPV (he earned that at right at Battlelines.) But if Thantos isn't cut own to size soon, I can see him giving Executioner a "completely fair" title shot sometime soon! Meh... I'm pretty partial as you can see! LOL! ;D ... Anyway... just commenting, because I see an aweful lot of HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE'S around... even in his tag matches!

GCW 14 05.16.2087 from Ceres Amphitheatre, Asteroid belt.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Invincible Krakan, injured four cards. Massif, injured three cards.
Wolf, banned from the GCW for life. Proteus, suspended until the end of the year.
- Thantos' News Update. - With Doc Strongbow having given his resignation last week! Ha ha.. I shall be conducting events this evening, finally, we bring some order and some class to proceedings. I want to confirm that my continuing efforts to clean up the GCW continue. Wolf will NOT be returning and Proteus won't be back until next year, when I'm satisfied that he's learned the proper respect.
Tonight, The Gladiators will be up against the pathetic pairing of Bloodline in what I loosely call a main event. After which, Brute and Massacre will be offered the opportunity to renew a contract with the GCW, live and exclusive here on my weekly show.
Before that, and to open tonight's show. I shall be honoring a promise to a friend. Never let it be said I am not a man of integrity. For I, Thantos shall defend my title against non other than... Executioner.
(The entirety of Thantos' segment, which was delivered on the huge holo-screen in the arena, was joined by a chorus of boos and jeers from the crowd.)
- Galaxian Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Executioner for the Galaxian Championship Thantos defeated Executioner with a MASTERLOCK at 21:24 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: It soon became clear that Thantos enjoyed this less then he had hoped. Executioner put up one hell of a fight, he had the champion pinned twice for a two count. The longer the fight wore on, the more Thantos' quality showed, it took him nearly 25 minutes to engage with the MASTERLOCK, but once he did there was no way back for the challenger. The two men seemed on decent terms after the bout, a brief argument about the intensity of the competition before Executioner raised the champs arm before the gathered crowd.
- Singles Bout - Actagon vs. Ghengis Khan Actagon defeated Ghengis Khan with a Reverse piledriver at 13:34 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Actagon owned Khan for the first eight or nine minutes, then they both hit a clothesline at the same time. Somehow, despite the beating that he'd been taking Khan was the first to his feet, he managed to mount some strong offence before the punishment he'd absorbed started to show. With his opponent slowing down, Actagon was able to finish things and seal a good victory.
- Actagon and Omega. - After his bout, and while the steel cage was being erected for the next match, Actagon is seen backstage heading toward his dressing room, he is stopped on the way and ushered to a quiet corner by the legend Omega.
Omega: "Great win kid, whats the news with Proteus, where did he go?
Actagon: "My thanks Omega, from a man such as you to hear such praise, my heart fair swells. My friend Proteus is away.. in training. Preparing both himself and an another for ring action. I may say no more for fear of breaking my word.
Omega: "I understand, good to know that he plans on a return. I'm hoping that I can count on your support when I make my move. Things are going to get worse before (if) they get better.
Actagon: "My support is yours, change is needed. I stand with you in word, deed and battle"
The two men parted as the action switched back to the ring and the now finished structure of that unforgiving steel cage.
- Cosmic Cage Bout - Commander Sam vs. Mutant Commander Sam defeated Mutant with a SAMS ATOMIC DROP at 9:54 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Mutant was on his game today and was in fighting mood from the start. However his rough-house tactics were more than matched by Sam's battling style. Mutant ended up bloodied and bruised, finally put away by SAM'S ATOMIC DROP. The patriotic hero showed yet again that he is the master of the more violent matches.
- Singles Bout - Vanity vs. Death Knight Vanity defeated Death Knight with a Cropper Slam at 8:07 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Vanity took the win but it really wasn't a great fight. The action really slowed with these two in the ring and they weren't able to get the crowd involved.
- Singles Bout - Beast-Rider vs. Pulsar Pulsar defeated Beast-Rider with a WHIRLWIND at 3:35 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Another poor bout, saved only by the fact that the winner, Pulsar, is wildly popular with the fans. The card looks set to fizzle out as the energy in the arena can be felt draining away.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Killer Queen Pit Viper defeated Killer Queen with a Backward leg-sweep at 11:21 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: That's better! A much better fight, both men giving it everything. Killer Queen had Viper trapped in the CHECKMATE three times but was unable to force the submission. The Titan showed great fortitude to overcome his opponent and take the win, however he seemed slightly unhappy that he received less acclaim than his team-mate Pulsar.
- Singles Bout - Invincible Krakan vs. Renegade Renegade defeated Invincible Krakan with a SPINECRACKER at 4:07 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Krakan was clearly devastated to have lost here, forced to tap out to the SPINECRACKER early in the bout. Renegade managed to sink in the hold tightly and just didn't let go. Krakan was unable to reach the ropes, spending over a minute in the painful hold before being forced to submit.
- Tag Team Bout - Bloodline vs. Gladiators of Aethra Brute defeated Omega with a Shoulder breaker at 30:47 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Still no win for Bloodline, but wow what a fight! Both teams had their chances in a bout that swung back and forth. The legend Omega put in a great performance, more than holding his own for most of the time, however by the end he was clearly tiring and when he missed with a deathjump Massacre was there for the kill. The two Cetus warriors were able to leave the ring with their heads held high, leaving the Gladiators in the ring to celebrate.
- Thantos and The Gladiators. - When Star Warrior and Omega were safely backstage, Thantos emerged accompanied by the faithful Henchmen. The three of them climbed into the ring, proudly gloating with their title belts, then Thantos grabbed a microphone and prepared to say his piece.
Thantos: "Great performance guys, you continue to impress. Which is why I'm here to offer you the opportunity of a lifetime, I see you both as important to the GCW and its with that in mind that I'm here to talk to you"
Massacre: "Say your piece Thantos, we'll listen and consider before The Gladiators make any decision."
Thantos: "Fine, whatever. Simply put the deal is this: You work with me, you work for me. In return you'll be in line for the tag titles. My Henchmen here are in line for the Holovision and Cosmos title holders that I plan to launch at our next PPV"
Brute: "Ha! you're Gladiators on a leash, never! Go [censored] yourself scarface!"
Massacre: "He said it, we ain't being your lackeys, we are Gladiators and we are born to fight and bring the pain"
Thantos paused and looked to his Henchmen in turn before he snarled at the two Gladiators.
Thantos: "So be it.. over-rated clowns. YOU'RE FIRED!!"
With that the ring erupted, a three on two brawl that degenerated into a brutal war as the show faded to black.
Overall Card Rating: 2.94

LOL, sorry Cernunnos..
But Executioner gave it one hell of a go!
I'm sure he'll get another shot soon enough, if he can remain out of the shadow of Thantos' ego for long enough!

GCW 15 05.23.2087 from Ecliptic Arena, Libra.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Invincible Krakan, injured three cards. Massif, injured two cards.
Wolf, banned from the GCW for life. Proteus, MIA, suspended until the end of the year.
- Thantos' News Update. - Thantos arrived on the big Holoscreen, a smug grin playing over his features, he lounged back into an office chair seated behind a broad, dark wood desk. He lifted his title belt and settled it onto the table, positioning it so the golden face of it was clearly visible.
When he spoke it was with a cool calm confidence, unhurried and unconcerned in every regard.
"Welcome to my GCW. The clean up of the federation continues. I've already made certain that the deadwood of Wolf and Proteus are gone. Each and every one of our fans will join me in celebrating the banishment of The Gladiators. What we will have left when I am done, is a honed and pure brand of wrestling led by your champion, your hero: Thantos."
Thantos paused, completely ignoring the boos and heckling of the crowd. He spent a moment admiring the championship belt that meant so much to him, when he was ready to speak again his attention returned to the camera.
"On the subject of deadwood, I'm done with carrying a bunch of undercard bums in my wake. Tonights first match will see Pulsar face Beast-Rider, the loser will prove himself the single worse wrestler in the galaxy and will be fired."
Again the crowd let ring with chorus of booing, a chant of "Thantos sucks" filling the small arena. With a sudden flash of anger Thantos banged his fist against the desk before him, snarling furiously from that huge holovision screen in the arena.
"I a absolutely do not suck! To prove it, I shall be facing none other than Krakan tonight in a non-title bout. While my errr your Tag-Team Champions The Henchmen will square off against Bloodline in another non-title bout. I know you'll join with me in celebrating the changes I'm making. Remember you may be great fans, but I'm the greatest wrestler any of you will ever see, its a privilege for you to see me in action tonight"
With that the screen faded to black, the action migrating to the ring as Pulsar's music hit the speakers.
- Career-on-the-line Bout. -
- Titan Death Match - Pulsar vs. Beast-Rider Pulsar defeated Beast-Rider with a WHIRLWIND at 6:07 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Neither man was going to go without putting up a great fight, however Pulsar hit his WHIRLWIND early and it seemed to knock the wind out of Beast-Rider. Though he fought valiantly to save himself it was in vain, once Pulsar hit his finisher a second time it was all over. The crowd rose as one to applaud both men, showing their appreciation and dismay at losing yet another superstar. The two competitors embraced, clearly neither was happy with having to battle for such high stakes.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Exo-King Exo-King defeated Pit Viper with a Disqualification at 6:24 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Viper continued to show his darker side and his frustrations as he took the fight outside of the ring. Exo-King, a steel chair and a deathjump is a recipe for trouble, Viper went for the move despite the warnings of the referee and found himself on the wrong end of the decision as a result.
- Singles Bout - Actagon vs. Renegade Actagon defeated Renegade with a Grecian Power Drop at 6:31 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Renegade seemed strangely subdued heading into this match, perhaps seeing his tag partner lose a career match had an effect. Whatever the reason Actagon ruled a fairly routine bout, he had his opponent in his GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP three times but was unable to finish things in that manner. Still, it certainly seemed to fatigue Renegade who never looked likely to win.
- Singles Bout - Lord Nexus vs. Mutant Lord Nexus defeated Mutant with a TITAN DROP at 5:51 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Mutant came to the ring very fired up, he managed to lock in his TEMPLE GRINDER a couple of times, putting in a great fight from beginning to end. When he was hit with the TITAN DROP from out of nowhere, he simply forgot to kick out. Laying on his back and smiling rather happily for a while after the bout had ended. The referee prompting him to get up and leave long after Nexus had made his exit.
- Singles Bout - Commander Sam vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Commander Sam with a CHECKMATE at 16:19 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Great performance by Killer Queen, recording one of the finest wins of his career. He showed that despite his flamboyant ways, he also possesses a measure of wrestling skills. By the end of the bout it was evident that whichever of the competitors hit a big move first would likely win as both men were clearly exhausted. Queen didn't need more than one opportunity to lock in his CHECKMATE and begin his celebrations.
- Non Title Bout -
- Tag Team Bout - The Henchmen vs. Bloodline Star Warrior defeated Executioner with a Running Star Blast at 5:29 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: They did it! Bloodline took their first win as a tag team. Well, in truth Star Warrior did it, Omega was a passenger for most of the match. He seemed happy to provide support and the benefit of his experience as his son battled manfully to claim the win. With Thantos decimating the tag ranks in the federation, it could well be that this is a taster of the title bout to come at the forthcoming PPV.
- Non Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Invincible Krakan Thantos defeated Invincible Krakan with a MASTERLOCK at 13:44 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Great bout, Krakan had his chances, hitting some great moves, however he was clearly carrying an injury and a little outclassed. With the first half of the match being hard fought and competitive, the second half, though no less entertaining, seemed like a period of waiting for the MASTERLOCK. Once it came, it was game over. Krakan had no option but to tap out and submit.
- In The Ring. - With his dreaded MASTERLOCK having secured the win, Thantos sought a microphone and then helped Krakan to his feet. Though at first he could barely stand, he soon leaned into the turnbuckle to listen to what the champion had to say.
Thantos: "Krakan, great fight by the way. Last week you saw me make an offer to The Gladiators, they declined and have therefore left us. I'd like to make the same offer to you, join me and work with me. I'll make you our new Holovision champion and you'll be a part of the authority here in the GCW. What do you say?
Krakan thought for a moment, before he nodded extended a hand and agreed, the two men shook on the deal, then Krakan hobbled from the ring, Thantos waited a moment, lifting his belt above his head before he spoke again.. or began to, barely had he begun when a couple of masked men stormed the ring and delivered a violent beating to the champion. Culminating in what looked suspiciously like a thunderous DECAPITATOR from the bigger of the two assailants, then they were gone.. running through the crowds before security could catch up to them.
The camera focused on a battered and bloodied Thantos, laying in the midst of the ring before the scene switched.
- Omega Plotting. - Backstage, we see a disconsolate Beast-Rider packing his bags, behind him sits Renegade his head in his hands. The two men are in silence as the sacked wrestler completes his task. Moments later and the door opens, the legendary Omega steps inside, resting a hand on Beast-Riders shoulder in a consoling gesture.
Omega: "Unlucky my friend, but stick around. I shall need your help shortly. I have a few plans in motion and will need all the support I can gather."
Beast Rider: "Whatever you need.. we're with you all the way."
The camera then showed the face of Omega as he nodded, the screen seeming to split in two, the other half containing an image of Thantos, half of each face completing a whole head. The two sides of the battlelines clearly shown before the show faded to black.

GCW 16 05.30.2087 from The Triangle, Trifid Nebula.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Invincible Krakan, injured two cards. Massif, injured one card.
Wolf, banned from the GCW for life. Proteus, MIA, suspended until the end of the year.
- Thantos' News Update - The show opens and the camera moves about the audience before coming to settle onto the ring, as it does the ominous tones of Thantos' entrance music rings out. Emerging into the arena, the champion is flanked by Executioner and Comrade Terror as he walks with purpose toward the ring. He climbs into the ring and grabs a microphone, not even waiting for the crown to quiet from their booing and heckling.
Thantos: "Shut up, all of you SHUT UP! Last week I was the victim of a cowardly and despicable attack, I think we all know it was those pathetic Gladiators. They were sacked for a reason and it just proves my decision was the right one. Tonight, the last card before Star-Slam, will see a series of singles bouts. Star-Slam itself will be headlined by me of course, as I defend my title against Exo-King. In addition, The Henchmen have begged me to allow them to defend against Bloodline. I have agreed, and we have two amazing bouts right there! Have no doubt that I, Thantos am the man to lead the GCW into the future"
With that he was gone, followed by The Henchmen.. leaving the crowd to show their displeasure in his wake.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Death Knight Pulsar defeated Death Knight with a Reverse piledriver at 6:20 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Pulsar continues to show some good form, it couldn't be said that this was an easy run out for him, but a win is a win! It remains to be seen if he can take his career to the next stage however.
- Singles Bout - Renegade vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Renegade with a CHECKMATE at 8:43 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Great result for Killer Queen, he put in an immense performance here, using his speed and ring savvy to stay one step ahead of Renegade.
- Singles Bout - Massif vs. Mutant Massif defeated Mutant with a Massif Power Slam at 5:50 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Mutant deserves a great deal of credit for his performance here, he was on the money from the first. With a little more luck he may even have claimed a remarkable victory. But in the end the raw power of Massif proved the defining factor.
- Singles Bout - Actagon vs. Invincible Krakan Actagon defeated Invincible Krakan with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP at 2:09 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Is Krakan still showing a weakness due to his injury? Actagon slapped on his GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP four times in immediate succession. Though Krakan fought madly to escape the first three times, he was just too far from the ropes the final time and found himself slipping away into unconsciousness.
- Singles Bout - Lord Nexus vs. Exo-King Lord Nexus defeated Exo-King with a Flying leg scissors at 10:44 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Speed beat power here in a great clash of styles. Fantastic display of skills from both men, especially Nexus who was on fine form here. Exo-King had his chances but just couldn't slow his opponent down enough to allow his vast strength to turn the tide in his favour.
- Non-Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Commander Sam Thantos defeated Commander Sam with a MASTERLOCK at 3:45 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Thantos showed his class here, it was a pure demolishment of Commander Sam. The champion was in no mood to mess around and ended things promptly. He had his two Henchmmen at the ringside, though they didn't involve themselves in the match, they kept an eye on the crowd, presumably in case of an attack by (who we assume) the Gladiators.
- The End? - With Thantos celebrating in the ring after his victory, the action switched backstage. Omega is seen in conversation with a suited man, they shake hands and make an agreement, it seems we arrived too late to hear the most of the discussion, but Omega's closing comment can be clearly heard.
Omega: Things are set, on Monday night we change everything. The GCW must die!
With that the show faded out to black...

Great work the last few cards...things have really been intense with Thantos running the show. He's still the man though, taking out everyone in his path. GCW is in for a possible take over...is the GWF coming to town!?! Can't wait to see this.

Hey Avarice,
I'm having fun with this, so few wrestlers in 2087 that it seemed good to come up with something more in terms of a storyline.
Can't wait to move forward into 2088 and the extended roster!

Star-Slam I 06.02.2087 from Mimas Spectrum, Saturn
- Injury - Invincible Krakan, injured one card.
Wolf, Brute, Massacre and Beast-Rider, all banned from the GCW for life. Proteus, MIA, suspended until the end of the year.
- Thantos' News Update. - The event started with Thantos appearing on the big holo-screen in the arena, his title belt draped over one broad shoulder. Beneath his vivid scar there lingered on his lips a conceited smile of confidence. He spoke through something of a cocky snarl.
"Good evening and welcome to Star-Slam. You have the good fortune of watching me, Thantos in action tonight. I shall be defending my title against Exo-King. Also, our tag team champions will be defending against the hugely over-rated Bloodline team. Then we've a number of other less talented wrestlers making up the rest of..... ZZZZKKKTTT."
The connection seemed to break, the screen black for a moment. Thantos' speech interrupted. Then the picture cleared to reveal Omega standing before the camera, Commander Sam at his shoulder. The legendary Omega spoke swiftly, seemingly concerned that he may lose his broadcast at any point.
"Evening to all of our fans out there. I want to thank you all, in addition I'd like to give thanks to most of our fellow competitors, including Beast Rider and Proteus. Thanks and best wishes also to Doc Strongbow and all of our officials and referees. What we do tonight we do for the health of professional wrestling's future."
With that the connection blacked out again, showing once more Thantos, he was on his feet now, clearly shaking and slapping the camera in frustration as he sought to find the reason for the fault. He cursed and snarled, before finally being cut off as Pit Vipers music filled the arena.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Vanity Pit Viper defeated Vanity with a Snake Bite at 1:44 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: The fans never got the chance to get into the bout. Pit Viper took a very quick and easy win. It ended with a whimper, a poor start to the PPV drawing literally no reaction from the watching crowd.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Mutant Mutant defeated Pulsar with a face mangler at 1:17 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: This second bout wasn't any better than the first. Mutant was on fire from the start and hit just a few big moves that were enough to knock the wind out of Pulsar. The fans at ringside still without a reason to get involved in the event, the atmosphere having not taken off yet.
- Singles Bout - Actagon vs. Killer Queen Actagon defeated Killer Queen with a reverse piledriver at 12:16 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Killer Queen managed to escape the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP twice as these two competitors put on a great bout, completely lifting the PPV and drawing the crowd into the event. Actagon proved a highly popular winner, though he clearly isn't completely comfortable in singles competition he continues to give his all every time he's in the ring.
- Cosmic Cage Bout - Massif vs. Renegade Renegade defeated Massif with a SPINECRACKER at 9:36 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Renegade really upset the form book here, it was a to and fro bout, an even contest for the most part. Massif seemed to be getting the better of things, though suddenly finding himself victim to the SPINECRACKER. Nobody could blame Renegade for his exuberant celebrations, it would have to be counted as one of his best ever results.
- Titan Death Match - Lord Nexus vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Lord Nexus with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 15:08 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: This was a real battle, a truly thunderous encounter. Lord Nexus looked to have the win in the bag as he hit two successive TITAN DROP's, unable to get the three count he went for a daring deathjump and was met by Krakan's lifted boot. That was the signal for the end, Krakan went for and connected with his FALLING FACE SLAM to earn a memorable victory.
- Tag Team Title Bout -
- Tag Team Bout - The Henchmen vs. Bloodline for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Star Warrior defeated Executioner with a NOVA LAUNCH at 14:24 Match Rating: 4.75 Match Notes: Another great bout, once more Star Warrior took the lead, remaining in the ring for the majority of the encounter. Omega did manage to kick out of an ATOMIC WARHEAD, proving that there is still some fight in him yet. Yet another title bout in the stellar career of the living legend and a great achievement for his son too. Thantos must surely be regretting his decision to force Star Warrior into tag competition!
- Galaxian Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Exo-King for the Galaxian Championship Thantos defeated Exo-King with a MASTERLOCK at 28:09 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: What a bout, both men fought with great intensity. Exo-King used his great strength to give the champion a real run for his money. For much of the match-up Thantos was unable to dominate the bout as he usually likes to do so. Finally, he caught Exo-King in his Masterlock at about the 25 minute mark, though the King escaped it was clear that he was under pressure from there on, it was no surprise to see him succumb to the feared move at the second time of asking. Even his massive strength couldn't save him. So, Thantos' five month reign as champion continues.
- The End. - Thantos celebrated for a time with his belt, before Omega, Star Warrior and Commander Sam arrived at the entrance of the arena. Omega took hold of a microphone and addressed the champion.
"Congratulations Thantos, truly a great champion. Shame that you're talents don't extend into running a successful federation!"
Thantos roared a reply, but clearly his microphone wasn't working and nothing could be heard as he spoke, face red with rage. Omega continued speaking.
"I'm sorry, I currently have the only working microphone in the building. You see I've something important to say, and I really don't want to be interrupted. The shareholders in the GCW, those same shareholders in the old GWF are failing to see a return on their investment. Hell we don't even have a sponsor for tonight's PPV! I'm sorry to tell you Thantos, that the GCW is short of funding. By short of funding, I mean that we can't afford more than one microphone! We can't afford all this lighting and we certainly can't afford another GCW show. Congratulations Thantos, when I said you were a great champion, I should have said that you were the only GCW champion. You see.. there is no more GCW. The company is folded. Bankrupt. All assets of the GCW have been frozen. Wrestling is dead, you killed it."
The lights one by one went out, until only Omega and Thantos stood under a spotlight each.. they then too extinguished and left the auditorium in complete darkness. The voice of the venue announcer was then heard.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, please do not panic. An usher will be with you shortly. It is with regret that we announce the termination of tonight's event."
- A New Beginning. - Moments later and a single spotlight illuminated again, beaming down on Omega, at his side the shadowy forms of Star Warrior and Commander Sam could be seen. A fourth man, wearing an expensively tailored suit stepped form the darkness to join the three wrestlers. Omega spoke with a new fervour in his voice.
"Tonight we have seen the death of a dream, the death of the GCW. However, with the help of my lawyer here Mr Warner. I have, along with the shareholders of this company confirmed that all assets and funds of this wrestling company have been reassigned to their former owners, the federation known as the GWF. You may remember it?"
The crowd roared in approval as they remembered the old federation that had come to an end in November of the previous year.
"All assets of the GWF were, last year, passed to the management of the GCW, though the parent company itself remains the same. It is with regret that we announce the end of the GCW... and the rebirth of the GWF! Let me introduce you to a few old favourites!"
The lights flicked on again, showing the ring. Thantos still stood there in a state of shock, behind him having snuck in unseen were Proteus, Wolf, Brute, Massacre and Beast Rider. These five men proceeded to deliver a wild beating to Thantos, before finally Omega called things to an end.
"Thats enough. With the rebirth of the GWF, its also time to announce that we have made an exciting new appointment as our first ever commissioner. Its a sad day when we need such a post filled. But it seems that we can no longer leave the fate of a federation in the hands of our champions. Ladies and Gentleman... allow me to introduce... Commissioner Strongbow!!"
A fifth figure joined Omega and his crowd of supporters, Doc Strongbow took the microphone and said a few words. Clearly he was still in pain, right arm still swathed in bandages and a discomfort in every step he took.
"Thank you Omega! I am delighted to accept this new position. The new era of the GWF is here. I decree that the former GWF, up to 2086, will now be known as the classic era. Welcome to the future of wrestling!"
With that the show drew to an end, leaving a number of unanswered questions and a wild buzz of excitement about the arena. What would the future hold for the stars of the reborn GWF?
