GWF 20 06.27.2087 from Lynx Liar, Lyncis.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Update. - Welcome to Lynx Liar for what should be a great show tonight. As acting commissioner I have been approached by both Invincible Krakan and Commander Sam, they each have requested a bout with the other! While I have agreed to put them into a Torture Chamber Bout at Crackdown, they can't wait to get at one another so they'll also meet in our main event tonight.
Massif and Lord Nexus will do battle here, in this very ring, to decide which of them faces Thantos at Crackdown for the Galaxian Title.
Then, as if that wasn't enough, Bloodline defend their titles tonight against the former champions The Henchmen.
In other news, and an exciting exclusive for the GWF, I can confirm that by the end of this year, we will have a PPV event from the War Dome on Aethra. Yes, you heard that right! We will be venturing to the home of the Gladiators. So far we have clearance from the Aethran government for 18 of our competitors to compete on their home world. As you know, travel to Aethra is a difficult and risky business. But we here in the GWF strive to bring you the best wrestling in the galaxy no matter the odds!
That's enough from me, lets get down to the ring and kick this thing off.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Vanity Vanity defeated Pulsar with a Cropper Slam at 6:15 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Pulsar continued his year of mixed form, his rookie year proving to be a rocky road for the young Titan. Vanity should be delighted with his performance here tonight, he may not be setting the federation alight but quietly he seems to be amassing something of a fan base. The view is that he may be a matter of style over substance, but there's no doubt he lights up every show he takes a part in.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Killer Queen Pit Viper defeated Killer Queen with a Snake Bite at 12:41 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: When Killer Queen pushed the referee in the way of Pit Vipers flying attack he was knocked out cold. Thereafter, Viper hit his Venom Blast twice and had Queen pinned three times. With no ref to make the count the match continued. Finally a replacement official made it into the ring, what had been a fairly one sided bout continued in that vein until Viper managed to put his opponent away.
- Cosmic Cage Bout - Wolf vs. Exo-King Wolf defeated Exo-King with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 12:58 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: This was a match of brutal intensity from the very start! Blood flowed from Wolf pretty early on, yet that seemed only to inspire him and push him to new levels of ferocity. So it was that he completed a compelling fight back and a great victory, the SAVAGE FACE CLAW earning him the win, he got it locked in good and tight leaving Exo-King with no alternative but to tap-out. So far 2087 has been a tough year for Wolf, he's failed to live up to his potential perhaps this will prove something of a turning point for him?
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Gladiators of Aethra Proteus defeated Massacre with an atomic drop at 18:19 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: The Gladiators may have the title shot coming up at Crackdown, but the Greek Gods showed that there is a real competitive feel to the tag scene at present. Surely it can't be long until the Gods earn another title shot of their own given this level of performance. Actagon and Proteus continue to grow in popularity, true fan favourites in every sense of the word. Yet The Gladiators are almost as popular themselves, making every bout between the two teams a real treat for wrestling fans around the galaxy.
- Number One Contenders Bout. -
- Singles Bout - Massif vs. Lord Nexus Lord Nexus defeated Massif with a TITAN DROP at 5:54 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Lord Nexus earned his title shot with a superb performance here, he hit the ring like a storm! Always on the move and launching a high flying attack that never gave Massif time to settle. It proved the perfect gameplan and landed him a fairly straight forward win. In a great show of sporting nature both men shook hands at the end of the match, Massif then lifted Nexus' arm into the air to salute the victor. Surely Thantos will have been watching and taking notes on the agile Titans ring strategy.
- Tag Team Title Bout -
- Tag Team Bout - Bloodline vs. The Henchmen for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Star Warrior defeated Executioner with a 20:20 at Nova Launch Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: This was a war plain and simple! Bloodline showed that they are worthy champions heading into Crackdown. Omega performed very well, but again it was left to Star Warrior to really be the force of the team. He put in a fantastic effort which paid off when his NOVA LAUNCH was sufficient to put an end to the Executioner. Amazingly it was the first pin attempt of the match that took the win, it had been such a heated battle that neither team had managed to take advantage enough before that point. Omega showed his ring savvy by having the guile to prevent Comrade Terror from breaking the pin attempt.
- Singles Bout - Commander Sam vs. Invincible Krakan This match ended in a draw (Disqualification) at 18:42 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: This encounter had major feud written all over it, they were at each others throats even before the bell rang. Not a great deal of technical wrestling on show but it was an enthralling brawl. For the fourth time the bout spilled out of the ring in an ever escalating level of violence. Finally the over worked referee had no option but to disqualify both men. As the show went off air they were still battling while the bell rang time and again, more officials were seen charging to the scene just as the screen faded to black. Looks like fans will have to wait until Crackdown to see these two lock horns again...

Crackdown 06.30.2087 from Callisto Centroplex, Jupiter.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Update. - Welcome to Crackdown! Both of our titles are on the line tonight, Bloodline go up against The Gladiators. Then we also have Thantos defending against Lord Nexus. That alone makes for one great evening! But we'll also see Commander Sam taking on Invincible Krakan in the dreaded Torture Chamber. That's not all folks, we've a packed evening ahead, buckle up and lets get things started, time to hit the ring!
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Death Knight Death Knight defeated Pulsar with a COSMIC LANCE at 8:18 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Death Knight survived an early WHIRLWIND before the bout settled into a very even contest. The first COSMIC LANCE changed the course of the contest, the second settled it. Not a popular result with the fans, this was truly a meeting between one of the most popular competitors and one of the least popular.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Executioner Pit Viper defeated Executioner with a VENOM BLAST at 5:42 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: This was a one sided bout from start to finish. Executioner made a couple of attempts to get started on offence, but each time his every move was blocked by the more agile Pit Viper. Not much more to report, this was perhaps the most straight forward win seen all year.
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Proteus defeated Beast-Rider with a full power slam at 3:36 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: The Greek Gods showed that they are on excellent form at the moment. The period of exile for Proteus doesn't seem to have dimmed their tag skills. The Croppers were outclassed here, they've had some excellent results this year but it seems that when they come up against a team on form they struggle. It remains to be seen how long the more talented Renegade will put up with such a situation.
- Iron Man Match - Wolf vs. Comrade Terror This match ended in a draw (Time limit draw.) at 60:00 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: This intense war ended at five falls each. Taking a storming start Terror claimed the first three, really battering his opponent for the early going. Wolf was able to pull one back, before Terror re-established his lead by taking a 4-1 lead. Wolf then showed his spirit, bringing the crowd to his feet as he rook the next three falls in a row, before he was caught with a ferocious ATOMIC WARHEAD. With just moments to spare the two exhausted men were locked in battle, the SAVAGE FACE CLAW locked in place and Terror just couldn't hang on, forced to tap out as the final few seconds of the bout approached. Both warriors lay flat out on the blood soaked canvass at the end, its unlikely we've seen the last of this match up!
- Singles Bout - Massif vs. Exo-King Massif defeated Exo-King with a VOLCANIC DROP at 0:44 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: With the excitement of the previous bout, this was such a let down. Massif caught his nemesis with his finisher so very early, it was enough to bring an end to the encounter in short order. One good point however, the fans had a few moments to hit the refreshment stalls.
- Torture Chamber Bout - Commander Sam vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Commander Sam with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 29:52 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Sam and Krakan gave it their all in a very tight bout that truly stretched both men to the limit. It was Krakan that managed to snatch the victory, though Sam was only down long enough for the three count. There was no handshake between the two, no sign of sportsmanship, just a stand-off as the victor faced his defeated enemy. Krakan left the ring first, turning his back on Sam without fear of reprisal. The American could be counted on to not assault his enemy from behind, it seemed unlikely that Krakan could have been trusted in the same manner!
- Tag Team Title Bout. -
- Tag Team Bout - Bloodline vs. Gladiators of Aethra for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Brute defeated Omega with a DECAPITATOR at 10:53 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: The Gladiators reclaimed the titles with a fantastic performance. They went for the obvious route of keeping Star Warrior out of the ring as much as possible. Brute crunched Omega with a thunderous DECAPITATOR with nearly took the legends head off. Massacre made sure there would be no pin save before joining his partner to celebrate with the titles. The father and son team of Bloodline left with their heads held high, still very clearly fan favourites.
Gladiators of Aethra won the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
- Galaxian Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Lord Nexus for the Galaxian Championship Thantos defeated Lord Nexus with a MASTERLOCK at 12:11 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Thantos defended his title yet again, trapping Nexus in the MASTERLOCK from which as is so often the case, there was just no escape. The champion was forced to kick out of a pin predicament twice and looked annoyed on both occasions. The agile Titan was able to stay one step ahead of Thantos and kept the match-up highly competitive to the end. With the victory in the bag, Nexus nursing his bruised legs, Thantos took a microphone and his belt to the top of the turnbuckle. He waited for a moment of silence to fall before he spoke in angry tones. "I, Thantos, your immortal champion, have no peer in this sport. Is there no man to provide me with a serious challenge?" Then he tossed aside the mic and posed with his belt again as the show went off the air.

GWF 21 07.04.2087 from Cassini Auditorium, Mars.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Welcome fans, wow what a night we had at Crackdown this week, if you didn't see it make sure you catch the replay on your local network. Amazingly we have a rematch tonight from the awesome Iron Man match we saw on Monday. Wolf and Comrade Terror match up again tonight in the ring. In my capacity as Commissioner, I've made the following ruling that is effective as from now. When a champion loses his title at a PPV event, they'll be granted a rematch at the following card. This is effective as from now and will not be backdated, it will apply to all title holders including the tag straps.
None of our champions are here tonight, The Gladiators have returned to Aethra, an opportunity to show off their belts. They'll also be working on the details of the PPV on Aethra that we've been promised by year end.
In another major bout this evening, Exo-King has vowed to bounce back from his embarrassing loss at Crackdown to derail Star Warrior's campaign in the singles rankings.
Though Krakan isn't in action tonight, I recorded an interview with him earlier today. Its available to view on your favourite Holo-vid channel. Krakan has sworn to accept Commander Sam's challenge for a rematch. Expect that next week all being well.
For now, its time to hit the ring. Lets get this party started!
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Mutant Mutant defeated Pulsar with a face slam at 13:48 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Pulsar hit the ring in a storm, taking the early advantage and giving his opponent a beat down. Three times he had a good, clear pinning opportunity. However, Mutant survived, turned the tide and went on the offensive. While Pulsar kicked out of the first face slam, it was immediately repeated and proved too much for the Titan.
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Death Knight Omega defeated Death Knight with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 2:28 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Omega raised a cheer from the fans as he took a comfortable win. He seems more popular than ever, now that he's the saviour of the GWF! He was greeted with a massive cheer and given maximum support from the opening bell. Death Knight may have just as well stayed in the changing rooms, he was very much a bit part player in the event.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Pit Viper with a flying knee drop at 13:52 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Killer Queen took a valued win in a close encounter. Neither man set the ring alight in a slow encounter which seemed to go against their nature. The crowd never really got involved in the proceedings and it was almost a relief when it came to an end. Pit Viper was off colour and never showed what he can do here, with the bout over the fans seemed eager to move on, hoping the next bout would provide greater entertainment.
- Cosmic Cage Bout - Commander Sam vs. Executioner Commander Sam defeated Executioner with a SAMS ATOMIC DROP at 11:11 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: This was another classic Commander Sam encounter. Every-time he gets in the cage he just seems to be in his element. Executioner fought well and had the better of the early exchanges before Sam was able to fight himself into the ascendancy. The longer the match wore on, the more Sam took charge, using the steel walls of the cage as a weapon he was able to claim the win and keep himself in the title hunt picture.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Exo-King Star Warrior defeated Exo-King with a NOVA LAUNCH at 14:05 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Clearly eager to put his swift loss at Crackdown behind him, Exo-King fought madly using his great strength to his advantage as he sought to match up to the talented Star Warrior. However and unfortunately for the King, it proved not to be enough. Star Warrior was able to put together a fantastic offensive display, his NOVA LAUNCH once more wowed the crowd as it hit like a sledgehammer and secured the win. With the final bell having sounded, Star Warrior celebrated with the fans, clearly making claims for a title shot. Look out Thantos!
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Actagon defeated Beast-Rider with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP at 22:38 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: The Greek Gods kept themselves as the number one contenders with this win. Though they made hard work of it perhaps, seemingly unable to put away their opponents for far too long! Still, with the next PPV several weeks away they have time to hone their game should they be afforded a title shot.
- Titan Death Match - Wolf vs. Comrade Terror Wolf defeated Comrade Terror with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 28:26 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: These two seemed destined to be at war! They went at each other like gladiators, trading blows and death-defying moves until Wolf was tossed from the ring, following him out Terror left the wild man bleeding in the remains of a table. However, Wolf made it back into the ring just before he was counted out and in a superhuman effort dodged Terror's huge deathjump! One neckbreaker later and Wolf claimed the first pin attempt, but there was more fight left in the Comrade yet. The Comrade Neck Clutch nearly ended things, but neither man was ready to give up. After the match fell out of the ring yet again and Terror found himself bust open as he was rammed into the ring pole. After a further exchange of blows and a thunderous deathjump by Wolf, the SAVAGE FACE CLAW was locked in, the submission came as Terror tapped out and it was some moments before Wolf released the hold. Expect to see these two square off again soon. The two bloodied warriors glared at one another as the show went off air.

GWF 22 07.11.2087 from Cybele Palace, Asteroid Belt.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Good evening and welcome to the GWF tonight, let me start with the big news! We have confirmation from the Aethran Minister of War that the GWF will be hosting an event on Aethra at the end of August! This is huge news and though so far we have been unable to obtain travel permits for The Greek Gods, Commander Sam and Wolf. The rest of the GWF superstars are cleared to compete! Stay tuned for more breaking news on this.
Back to this evening and we have a great line up ahead. Our main event sees Wolf and Comrade Terror square of yet again, the winner of tonight's bout will decide on the nature of their match at our next PPV at the end of this month.
The Gladiators and The Greek Gods go at it, with Massacre having been very vocal about offering The Gods a title shot if they get a win here tonight.
Finally we have two of our top rated superstars Star Warrior and Massif clash in what should be a great contrast of styles.
But kicking things off, we have one of our most popular young stars against the consummate showman!
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Vanity Vanity defeated Pulsar with a PULVERIZER at 14:43 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: This was a good if unspectacular match. Both men showed a decent ability and fought with real passion. The lack of quality was obvious, it only took one PULVERISER from out of nowhere to bring the encounter to an end.
- Singles Bout - Lord Nexus vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Lord Nexus with a CHECKMATE at 1:29 Match Rating: 1.75 Match Notes: This was a real shock! Early on Queen tossed Nexus out of the ring, then hit with a huge cross body block on the concrete floor. Nexus barely managed to crawl back into the ring to beat the referees count, but immediately found himself trapped in the CHECKMATE. He simply had no answer and was compelled to tap out much to the disappointment of the fans.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Pit Viper with a backward leg-sweep at 2:52 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Krakan dominated the bout and made short work of Pit Viper. It was a real lesson for the young Titan as the more experienced grappler went to work. By the time the pin came it was no surprise, Viper looked about ready to throw in the towel.
- Singles Bout - Executioner vs. Renegade Renegade defeated Executioner with a Cropper Slam at 26:31 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: This bout spent longer out of the ring than in, or so it seemed! Both men put on a great display and it could have gone either way. Renegade just seemed to want it more perhaps by the end, the poor run of form for The Executioner continues, he seems not to have been up to his usual standards since he and Comrade Terror dropped the tag titles.
- Singles Bout - Commander Sam vs. Exo-King Commander Sam defeated Exo-King with a SAMS ATOMIC DROP at 12:04 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: A fantastic result for Commander Sam and yet more disappointment for Exo-King. Sam adopted his usual tactics, keeping his distance and attacking with a hardcore style. Keeping his distance when needed, and able to stay out of range of King's massive strength. It seems that Commander Sam has always had a similar style and it doesn't seem to get old! When on form, he can be as dangerous as ever.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Massif Star Warrior defeated Massif with a NOVA LAUNCH at 7:17 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Star Warrior hit the ring like a storm, Massif only managed a couple of offensive moves as Warrior chopped the big man down with a daring and innovative wrestling style. The crowd were on their feet throughout, delighting in both the display of attacking and high-flying skills and the clear friendship and mutual respect showed at the final bell. These two men seemed just too decent to be anything other than good friends before and after the match.
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Greek Gods Brute defeated Proteus with a DECAPITATOR at 26:27 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: This was a great bout and The Gladiators consolidated their position as champions. Now that it seems unlikely they'll be facing the Gods at the next PPV they should be happier moving forward. It remains to be seen which team, if any, will earn that shot. There's hardly a depth of talent in the tag division at present. On today's display The Gladiators look strong, in great form and confident in their abilities.
- Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Comrade Terror Wolf defeated Comrade Terror with a Disqualification at 13:03 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Comrade Terror had the better of the bout and should have taken the win. The sheer hatred between the two men came to the fore however and the match descended into a brutal brawl outside of the ring. Though Terror was DQ'd for bringing a steel chair into the proceedings, that didn't stop the fight from continuing.. The show went off air with fists still flying as they battled through the crowd, a desperate number of security men seeking to separate the two brawlers.

GWF 23 07.18.2087 from Procyon Sports Pavilion, Canis Minor.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Good evening grapple fans, welcome to the GWF weekly broadcast. Tonight we have Thantos and Star Warrior in the same ring! They'll be part of a huge six man bout tonight, folks this is not to be missed.
Wolf has made his decision for his encounter with Comrade Terror at the upcoming PPV. These two superstars will collide in a Barb Wire Cosmic Cage Bout! Its gonna be messy!
Tonight should be huge, but looking to the future I have some major news to break. Ladies and gentlemen, at our forthcoming PPV we will see the arrival of a new superstar into the ranks of the GWF! Not only that, but he'll be immediately involved in a huge bout, you do not want to miss this!
For now, its down to the ring and on with this evenings action.
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Vanity Vanity defeated Omega with a PULVERIZER at 5:23 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Vanity took a good clean win as he overcame the living legend Omega. While the encounter was hard fought and competitive it always seemed skewed in favour of the younger man. Omega remains a hugely popular star in the GWF, he certainly never gives anything less than 100% in every single bout. Sometimes though the mind is willing, the body less so.
- Singles Bout - Commander Sam vs. Ghengis Khan Commander Sam defeated Ghengis Khan with a Sam\'s Slam at 6:22 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: This was a commanding win for the Commander! He bossed the encounter right from the beginning. Kahn never got into the bout and found himself on the defence from the start, the true definition of a one sided match-up. Sam looked delighted with his victory and celebrated with the fans for longer than he would normally, rumour has it that Sam continues to believe he has one great championship run left in him.
- Tag Team Bout - The Henchmen vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Executioner defeated Renegade with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 5:11 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The Henchmen made short work of the Croppers, taking a routine win with a minimum of fuss or effort. The real news followed the bout as Executioner and Comrade Terror exchanged angry words in the ring. Executioner is keen on pushing for a tag title shot at the upcoming PPV, while Terror seems locked onto a collision course with Wolf. He can't do both, where will this lead?
- Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Exo-King Exo-King defeated Wolf with a Disqualification at 12:38 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Wolf just plain lost his temper several times throughout this bout, several times the action spilled from the ring and took on a more brutal edge. The two men seemed evenly matched and had the encounter stayed in the ring it really could have gone either way. The sheer brutality of Wolf's assaults was shocking and it came as no surprise when the referee took decisive action.
- Titan Death Match - Lord Nexus vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Lord Nexus with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 13:12 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: These two fierce enemies gave it everything, really laying into one another with everything they had. Nexus got off to a great start, his speed and agility giving him an edge. However a few big moves later and Krakan was right back in it, he worked to slow Nexus down until he fell victim to the FALLING FACE SLAM. After the bout Krakan was joined by Mutant who right at the sound of the bell came running out to join in a ferocious attack on the Titan. (Nexus injured for four cards as a result)
- Six Man Tag Team Bout - Brute, Massacre, and Thantos vs. Proteus, Actagon, and Star Warrior Proteus defeated Brute with an OVERHEAD TOSS at 31:09 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: These six men put on a great show, the men with all the belts took the initiative early on, Brute and Massacre proving especially effective in the early going. Thantos hit the ring and trapped Actagon in his MASTERLOCK but was saved by Star Warrior, the fans then started a growing chant to get Thantos and Star Warrior in the ring together, when it happened the whole arena exploded and it was Star Warrior who got the better of those exchanges much to the delight of the fans. But the champions mounted a great fightback and started to dominate, with the other four men battling out of the ring it was left to Brute and Proteus to fight it out between the ropes. With a huge OVERHEAD TOSS the tide of the match turned and a very sudden pinfall won. The victors celebrated in the ring, soaking up the adoration of the fans as yet another action packed show went off the air.

Wha?? I dunno what you mean by that Cernunnos. If its a similar idea to something done previously, its a coincidence! LOL! No! In no way was this done to my knowledge. No... I thought you were working an angle where the Gladiators/Aethra were black-balling The Greek Gods (closest tag team competition), Commander Sam (why have a patriotic American on Aethra?) and Wolf (former gladiator/defector). I thought thats where you were going with that... so I thought it was funny. Still think Wolf should be banned from Aethra... and he sneaks in... and breaks into the arena to attack the gladiators (or Thantos for that matter... since he won't shut up) and gets pulled away by the police! Heh... should make it Thantos... lol! That way Wolf would get a title shot, because Thantos was pissed he got jumped and wolf refused to fight him like a "real man."
