Excellent main event victory for Santon and Marlboro... But, it was the encounter between Keller and Caelum that truly stole the show... Those two proved themselves worthy of their spots at the table in that marathon... Looking forward to a rematch... Exciting stuff!

Thanks!
Having Santon as champ is a huge change of pace for my fed. It's been restricted to Caelum, Omega, Keller, and then Marlboro's brief run. He certainly changes the complexion of that scene as does Screw's "Win or Die" challenge.
Keller and Caelum are part of the bedrock of my GWF. Caelum was the first champ and Keller has been a beast, but Torin Caelum seems destined to score another title match soon with the string of victories he's racked up. Along with Omega, he's the only guy to hold both the Galaxian and Tag Titles. Their rematch is something special, I'll be posting Galactic Wars IV soon!

GWF Classics #65: Galactic Wars IV 04.22.2079 from Nereid Sport Plex, Neptune
Hechilles & Caiman vs. Imperial Alliance This match ended in a draw (Double DQ) at 2:32 Match Notes: The debut of two new tag teams kicks off Galactic Wars IV!
Hechilles and Caiman came into the GWF at the same time and enjoyed success, tho it came with ups and downs. Hechilles came up short in a run at the GWF title and Caiman just returned from a suspension after getting involved in Commander Sam's war against Mangus. Perhaps both men will find the direction they need in this new partnership.
Ripken Prince and Mimic are no strangers and have teamed before, but this seems much more official. Prince comes off a brutal war with multiple opponents including Paladin Power and his former "bodyguard", Screw. You can bet that Prince will do whatever it take stop get a shot at the tag belts.
Hechilles and Mimic started the bout off. Miic stunned Hechilles with a pair of hi impact moves, but Hechilles grabbed a single leg takedown out of nowhere to even the odds.
Caiman rocked Mimic with a Mangrove uppercut and it looked like there would be a pinball in the future, but Prince broke it up. He came back in to breakup the clover leaf submission Hechilles applied after some excellent double team.
At this point Caiman was in and it exploded! All four men were going at it, out of control. The ref had no choice but to call for the bell and this one is a double DQ!
Caiman and Hechilles run off Prince and Mimic, but if we know Ricken Prince, he won't take this lightly...
Parsec vs. Cordsar Parsec defeated Cordsar with an ESTORIAN LOCK at 19:57 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Great match! The Mensans took exception to the attitude of the Estorians after losing a match to the rookie tag team. Particularly Cordsar, who still assures everyone he is the GWF's Submission Master.
Tonight pits the MENSAN LOCK vs the ESTORIAN LOCK.
Great back and forth match with Parsec not being shy about resorting to brawling in and out of the ring. He tossed his weight advantage around a few times to gain an edge, but Cordsar would not be undone and initiated some great moments of mat and strike based wrestling. He is a skilled athlete, there's no denying.
Cords was able to score a near fall and lock in the MENSAN LOCK, but Parsec found the ropes with an assist from Tantalis! Of course, considering Trotarus had leveled Parsec on the outside with a double arm clothesline while the ref was distracted, this was fair turnabout.
Parsec mounted a come back and eventually locked in the ESTORIAN LOCK, but Cordsar escaped! The audience popped and Parsec was stunned, but he locked it back in right away and Cordsar had to tap.
Heck of a bout!
- 2/3 Falls - K.O. Keller vs. Torin Caelum Torin Caelum defeated K.O. Keller with a shoulderbreaker at 23:36 Torin Caelum defeated K.O. Keller with a DQ at 28:19 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: What an incredible bout! These two have been trading strikes and holds since the very first GWF card!
Caelum is arguably the number one contender for the title and Keller was in a natural spot to challenge his old rival upon his return from suspension. That bout resulted in a spectacular 30 minute time limit draw. A classic. A rematch was quickly signed for a 2/3 falls match to a finish!
The first twenty minutes of action was brutal. A mix of chain wrestling, stiff strikes from Keller, and big moves by Caelum. He tore Keller's shoulder apart.
Keller kept coming back, but even a TEN COUNT wasn't enough to put Caelum away.
Caelum would eventually shift momentum back his way and hit a huge shoulder breaker for a pin fall!
The next fall, the mood changed. They wrestled for the opening seconds, but then some brutal stomps and strikes sent Keller outside.
Caelum followed and Keller smashed him on the announce table. He continued his assault against the ref's wishes and even pushed the ref down which was enough to score a DQ and get Caelum the win.
They kept fighting after the bell, but eventually were separated.
This rivalry has never been friendly, but this was a change.
- No DQ, No Countout - The Windriders vs. The Gamemasters Cosmos defeated Rama with a TH MASTERLOCK at 4:20 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: These two teams have been engaged in a heated rivalry ever since Star Warrior debuted!
Tonight would be the end of it and to avoid any controversy, it would be a no DQ, no contour contest!
Star Warrior played the face in peril early on, but he dumped Rama off the top rope and made the hot tag. Cosmos cleaned house and slapped on THE MASTERLOCK! Tano went up top to dive on Cosmos and break up the hold, but Cosmos, in a stroke of brilliance released the hold at the last minute and crushed his own partner with a splash!
Star Warrior is in and dumps Tano out! THE MASTERLOCK is back on and Rama taps!
What a win!
COSMOS: Parsec. Tantalis! You think this is the bottom?! You two have another thing coming!
WARRIOR: The Gamemasters are the real deal! This is only the beginning!
COSMOS: Our mentor Morpheus set a tone and we'd like to follow suit... By this time next year... Galactic Wars V! You're looking at the Galaxian Tag Team Champions!
- Cosmic Cage - Commander Sam vs. Mangus Mangus defeated Commander Sam with a head ram into corner post at 9:48 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: What a brutal cage match.
Magnus started off on the offensive, but Sam battled back in spectacular style much to the crowd's delight. It seems they've embraced him even more since his return. Appreciating that he did what he felt he had to do to get rid of Mangus.
Magnus, returning from injury looked a little off his gameplan and Sam had him bleeding profusely after repeated cage shots.
This felt like something right out of Madison Square Garden in the late 70s...
The finish saw Sam charge a bleeding injured Mangus in the corner. Magnus moved and Sam crashed head first into the post! Mangus slammed him again for good measure and rushed out of the cage...
Sam is stunned and bleeding on his knees...
Mangus is back in the cage... Oh no!
He hits no fewer than 4 ANNIHILATORs! Sam is a bloody limp mess in the ring when the officials finally unlock the cage. Sam is stretchered out as fans pelt Mangus with trash.
[Sam is going to be on the shelf for 5-6 weeks and Mangus is fined and suspended for 2 cards!]
- POW Rules - Paladin Power vs. Defiance for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Jammer defeated Moonstrike with a BAD NIGHT at 19:22 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: These two teams have been pillars of the early days. Blood and Jammer have also both enjoyed mild success in singles runs, too.
Paladin Power was on the shelf while Moonstrike recovered from injury, and while they were away, Defiance, after Jammer's return from injury, mounted the top of the division to capture the tag titles for the first time.
We nearly saw new champs in the early going, but Defiance battled back and punished Moonstrike. The action spilled out of the ring and all four men brawled.
Jammer was dominating, but Moonstrike managed the hot tag and Flare went to work.
Still the champs used solid tag work and stayed in the match.
A bloody Moonstrike nearly passed out to BAD NIGHT, but managed a huge comeback on the outside and walloped Jammer with a chair.
Flare and Blood were brawling nearby and Blood dropped Flare with a brain buster!
Moonstrike had Jammer set up on a table and was mounting the turnbuckle... But Blood pulls Jammer off and Moonstrike crashed through!
They roll him in... BAD NIGHT!
Moonstrike won't tap, but Blood drops Flare with another brain buster!
The ref stops the match! Defiance retains! What a statement to make...
Blood and Jammer just went through a hell of a war to keep their titles against the longest reigning former champs.
- Loser Leaves Town - Omega vs. Harley Marlboro Omega defeated Harley Marlboro with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 7:18 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: What an interesting bout...
Omega, the longest reigning only two time Galaxian champion returned after falling to Marlboro at the Deimos Perennial, but the landscape had changed. He came up short in a shocking loss to the new champ, Santon.
Marlboro took exception to Omega jumping his rematch, but Omega never had his. The GWF isn't big enough for the two of them anymore.
Will the founding father find himself exiled? Or will the most successful free agent in GWF history be handed his walking papers?
They fought like their livelihoods depended on it and Harley scored a near fall in the opening moments.
He punished Omega and came close, but Omega came back out of no where with his speed and nearly put him away with a TOMAHAWK THRUST!
Omega wore him down with stretches and even busted him open with a flying elbow off the ropes!
Marlboro was resilient, but a second TOMAHAWK THRUST finished him off!
Harley Marlboro is exiled from the GWF!
Omega makes a big statement. This is his house and he is here to stay!
- Win or Die - Santon the Loner vs. Screw for the Galaxian Championship Screw defeated Santon the Loner with a press slam at 64:56 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Win or Die. Simple. A last man standing match that saw Screw announce he would leave the GWF and never return if he failed to win.
Santon took the title from new champions, Harley Marlboro and even managed to beat Omega legitimizing his title reign in spectacular fashion.
These two are old foes and now on the grandest stage to fight for the richest prize.
The level of brutality in this match is unmatched. They assaulted one another with every move in their arsenal and took to the outside plenty of times where chairs, bare concrete, and tables came into play. Santon set up multiple tables at ringside, but was unable to put Screw through any of them.
Screw eventually stacked two of them, but nothing came of that either.
After 60 plus minuted of blood soaked brutality that saw both men give everything they have and leave nothing back, the two exhausted men engaged in one last gladiatorial exchange...
Santon, hit a running clothesline that took Screw out of the ring... Santon ripped up the mats, again, and set him up for a SPIKE PIELDRIVER on the bare concrete... Screw reverses! Full nelson slam on the concrete!!!
He takes Santon back in... He's got him up... Press slam out of the ring, through the double stacked tables!!!
Santon is unable to answer the ten count! We've got a new champ!
Screw has done it! Screw is the GWF Galaxian Champion!

Truly intense action from the opening bout to the main event...
The 2x DQ at the top of the card might have been a disappointing finish, but I think it really set the tone for what turned out to be a particularly brutal show...
Caelum and Keller both gave stellar performances... Fun watching the Gamemasters put all of their opposition on notice - they plan to storm their way to the top of the rankings...
Screw took a big risk and it paid off... Now he's on top and I'm not sure that anyone will be able to take him down anytime soon...
Great stuff!

GWF Classics #66: The Main Event 05.12.2079 from Sagitta Forum, Sagitta
- Non-Wrestling Segment - Omega drops the bombshell that Screw will defend his newly won Galaxian title in a wrestling match... A two out of three falls wrestling match... Against the undeniable number one contender, and native, the Sagitta Strangler, Torin Caelum.
Will Caelum become only the second man (after Omega) to hold the Galaxian championship twice, or will Screw start his reign off with a strong defense?
Caiman vs. Ricken Prince Caiman defeated Ricken Prince with a sit-out power bomb at 6:55 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: After the double DQ at Galactic Wars, it's clear there's some grievances to air between the new tag combinations of Imperial Alliance (Ricken Prince & Caiman) and Hechilles & Caiman.
Prince and Caiman are accompanied by their respective partners. The action is intense from the get go and their is no denying we're seeing a fiercer side of Caiman.
He scored a near fall almost immediately, but then slowed the pace to wear Prince down.
Prince made a comeback but it was cut short and a sit-out power bomb out of the blue put an end to it!
Mimic immediately hit the ring and attacked Caiman! Hechilled evened the odds, but Caiman and Prince spilled out of the ring and Prince went for a chair!
Caiman snapped and evaded the chairshot! HANDICAPPER! And again! Princes is in a bad way.
Security and officials break it up and medical personnel attend to Prince.
He's hurt...
[Prince is injured and out for the next 3 cards and Caiman is suspended for the same. Omega doesn't like this behavior and sends a statement. Still, the fans were behind Caiman and this more intense side of him. Hechilles and Mimic will do battle on the next card!]
Tantalis vs. Cosmos Tantalis defeated Cosmos with a Nuclear Smash at 17:07 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Long stretches of hi impact offense broken up by several momentum shifts typified this bout.
The Estorians called out the Gamemasters on their very first appearance and the bad blood has been simmering since then. Truth be told, this rivalry will end with one of these two teams getting a title shot and that's saying a lot considering they're both less than a year in the GWF.
Cosmos started things off in a big way and scored an early near fall. He was cool and confident as he used strikes a big moves to dominate, but Tantalis was able to come back after Parsec broke up a pin fall.
Star Warrior tried to keep the odds even, but perhaps by not interfering in kind, Cosmos was never able to reestablish his early dominance.
The finish came after a heated exchange that saw them brawl on the outside followed by a trio of big moves ending in a Nuclear Smash from Tantalis.
Considerable gloating from the Estorians, but Cosmos and Star Warrior certainly aren't backing down.
The Mensans vs. The Windriders Rama defeated Trotarus with a double superplex at 16:02 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Excellent tag match!
Cords was looking sharp and insidious as he targeted Rama's knee with a vicious streak that we see from time to time.
A desperation tag to Tano changed the game, tho and we had a competitive match on our hands.
Some great spots included Tano coming in with the fire and hitting a plancha out of the ring along with other hi impact moves to the crowd's delight.
Trotarus was able to take control back for the Mensans, but good tag work from the Windriders brought them back to life and a double team superplex put the big man down for the count as Tano held off Cordsar from the save.
Impressive match and win for the two Deimos natives.
Both teams needed a win after dropping matches to the Estorians and Gamemasters. Turns out the Windriders had this one in their favor. Jammer vs. Moonstrike Moonstrike defeated Jammer with a PALADIN DROP at 6:04 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Solid brawl. Jammer dominated the early goings and tried to put Moonstrike away with BAD NIGHT, but the action spilled outside a number of times and that evened the playing field. Both men's tag partners interfered, but the finish came after Moonstrike may have lured Jammer back outside and planted him headfirst into the steel post!
PALADIN DROP! 1, 2, 3!
Blood is incensed and drops Flare on the outside, attacks Moonstrike back inside and doesn't let up!
Jammer is up and they double team Moonstrike until Solar Flare is able to make the save with a chair.
[Moonstrike will be injured for one, but there are no suspensions, it could have been worse and these two teams have done worse. Blood vs Solar Flare on the next card.]
Santon the Loner vs. Morpheus Santon the Loner defeated Morpheus with a SPIKE PILEDRIVER at 9:07 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Morpheus made a bold statement saying that he would close 2079 as the Galaxian Champion. Santon, a former champ, thanks to Screw, stands in his way.
Omega has recently announced that the board of directors has put an end to automatic title rematches for dethroned champions. Looks like Santon will have to fight his way back to the strap.
Morpheus absolutely dominated the early goings and nearly put Santon away, but the masked man would battle back and give the man from Aldeberran a beating.
He targeted the neck and dropped him with repeated clotheslines and a neck breaker.
They took their toll and even after a flurry of his own, Morpheus fell to a SPIKE PILEDRIVER to the weakened neck.
Santon stood victorious and motioned for the belt to return to his waist.
As he exited, KO Keller confronted Morpheus...
KELLER: I thought you were supposed to be the next champ! Let's face it Morpheus, coming from someone who's actually been there, actually beat Omega, actually held the title... you just ain't got what it takes.
Morpheus is clutching his neck but is not happy about Keller's words.
KELLER: Tell you what, big man... You failed this test... Think you have a shot at the KO test? These fists say no...
Morpheus is hot, but Keller just tosses the mic and walks off...
- 2/3 Falls - Screw vs. Torin Caelum for the Galaxian Championship Torin Caelum defeated Screw with a CAELUM'S GRIP at 3:47 Torin Caelum defeated Screw with a Torin Death Lock at 10:28 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Caelum has definitely earned this shot at the new champ, Screw. Screw captured the richest prize in the game by besting his long time rival, Santon at Galactic Wars in a "Win or Die" Last Man Standing match.
That reign proved to be short-lived tho, as Caelum was able to put together a superior offense with his mat skills and big strikes.
The first fall was after CAELUM'S GRIP out of nowhere as Screw came off the ropes.
The second straight fall came at the 10 minute mark when Caelum reversed a move to apply the Torin Death Lock.
Screw tapped a second time! Huge statement and new champion! Torin Caelum has been absolutely dominant...
Post-match, Screw actually asks for and receives the handshake from Caelum! He then takes a moment to remove his face plate and mouths goodbye!!! He waves adios to the crowd and bows to them once before heading up the ramp as they show their appreciation.
They've hated him, they've loathed him, and they ultimately loved him. What a career from Screw. As this looks like the end...
The new champion raises the title high to end the evening.
Torin Caelum won the Galaxian Championship

Caelum puts an end to Screw's run as champion almost as quickly as it began... Is this monstrous competitor seriously ready to call it a career? Wow!
Looking forward to the inevitable clash between Keller and Morpheus... Should be a great one...
Excellent work!

GWF Classics #67: The Main Event 06.13.2079 from Aldebaran Exposition Centre, Taurus
- Non-Wrestling Segment - Omega opens the show as he did on the last Main Event and addresses the crowd.
He announces an 8 man round robin tournament to determine the first ever Filsinger Cup winner. Named after the founder of the GWF's parent company, Champions of the Galaxy Entertainment.
Matches will begin on the next Main Event and culminate at a special card prior to Star Bash titled CLIMAX.
The winner will receive a guaranteed title shot at the Deimos Perennial.
Morpheus joins Omega in the ring. He gets a hometown hero reaction and in spite of being on a bit of a cold streak he's determined to get past KO Keller tonight and move up in the rankings.
Morpheus announces that he's here to do the board's dirty work. Things are getting out of hand recently and there's been far too much action out of the ring and after the bell. Resulting in grudges and injuries and suspensions.
Examples will be made.
He calls out Commander Sam and Mangus.
He tells them, much to their chagrin, that only one of them will be a part of the F-Cup! In fact, they won't be getting anywhere near a ring together after this moment here. Because if they come to blows at any time for the rest of the year, they're fired! But in order to put a period on the feud... An exclamation point, that is... They will face one another in a match at the Deimos Perennial 2080! And that match will be in a steel cage.
But it doesn't stop there. We want this to be the end. So once we've locked you inside and tossed away the key, you're going to look around and see we've wrapped it in barbed wire! There will be no way out! Until only one of you is left standing.
So you two want to tear each other apart, fine, but you'll do it on the GWF's terms! Deimos Perennial... If you wait that long, fine by us, retire one another... Otherwise, if you two put hands on one another in the meantime, you're done in the GWF.
This was a monster bombshell. Neither man is booked tonight, but you could cut the tension with a knife. Will they be able to steer clear of one another for the next 6 months?
Morpheus then added it would be the man with the winning record, Commander Sam, in the tournament. Mangus was hot and it looked like things might break down. He eventually backed off and Sam now had the weight of the F-Cup Tournament and barbed wire on his mind...
A tournament and the end of a war, or at least an armistice...
Omega then added one last thing... Santon, after beating Morpheus and not having a rematch, gets a title shot tonight! Torin Caelum has vowed to defend the title and bring wrestling and sportsmanship back to the forefront.
A clash of styles for sure, but will we see yet another title change in challenge to be the best in the GWF? It's been more hotly contested in 2079 than any other time in GWF history. What does that say about the competition and importance of the title?
Solar Flare vs. Blood Solar Flare defeated Blood with a PALADIN MISSILE at 1:57 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Flare seized control early and never looked back. Neither man's partner was at ring side. Perhaps looking to avoid things getting out of hand after Morpheus' announcement.
A pair of fall away slams, a devastating rolling elbow and the PALADIN MISSILE spelled doom for Blood.
The members of Paladin Power have defeated each member of the tag champs, Defiance, in singles competition. Will there be another title bout in the near future?
Star Warrior vs. Parsec Star Warrior defeated Parsec with a CETUS SLEEPER at 4:38 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Hotly contested bout with a furious pace.
Near falls and big moves, but they kept it in the ring and clean.
Star Warrior battled back after an ESTORIAN LOCK, but failed to fully lock in a CETUS SLEEPER of his own.
Still, after punishing Parsec with a flying body press, he locked in his finisher with precision and Parsec faded to give Warrior the win.
The Mensans vs. The Crosscurrents Trotarus defeated Thetis with a double arm clothesline at 3:33 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: The Mensans look meaner than ever. They comedy shtick is out the window and they just look like a tag team trying to be the absolute best.
Their combination of Cordsar's technical prowess and Trotarus' strength has spelled doom for a few teams lately and they held the tag titles in 2078.
The Crosscurrents have struggled lately and look aimed for a set of matches with the Windriders soon. Of course, now that Ricken Prince and Mimic have formed Imperial Alliance and Hechilles and Caiman have begun tagging, there are some fresh teams aiming for the titles.
Will the Crosscurrents continues to be a stepping stone?
Trotarus took out Thetis after a brutal double arm clothesline. Cordsar had certainly worn him down and even locked in his finisher, but Vortex broke it up.
The win strengthens the Mensans road to another chance at the tag straps.
Mimic vs. Hechilles Mimic defeated Hechilles with a surprise pin at 10:48 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: The burgeoning tag teams of Imperial Alliance and Hechilles & Caiman had a face-off at Galactic Wars IV that ended in a Double DQ. They'll meet again soon enough in tag action, but in the meantime, we're getting singles action.
They had a fantastic back and forth match that saw Hechilles get a lot of mat work in to wear Mimic down.
He landed a few big moves like a belly to back release duplex that shook the ring. But Mimic kept battling back. Much to Hechilles surprise.
In fact, surprise was what won the day. Just as Hechilles looked to win, Mimic caught him with a pinning combination out of no where and scored a shocking 1, 2, 3!
Hechilles was shocked and shook his head in the defeat as Mimic quickly exited the ring.
Ricken Prince met his partner at the top of the ramp and applauded the win.
What will happen the next time all four men are in the ring, tho?!
Morpheus vs. K.O. Keller Morpheus defeated K.O. Keller with a power drop at 16:15 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Great match. They battled back and forth in the early going and traded near falls.
Neither scored with any heavy duty offense otherwise, tho and the match became a battle of who would make the first mistake.
It seemed to come when Morpheus tossed Keller out. Keller took the opportunity and used it to his advantage.
He began a barrage of blows that led to a KO Flurry and then a Heart punch that only scored a two!
Frustrated, Keller went up top, something he rarely does, and came up short. Morpheus pounced and hit every big move in his book, leading to a TRIP TO HADES!
Keller shocked the crowd by kicking out of the finisher for a second time! Morpheus went up top with a risky move that finally secured a much needed win and put him in a spot to challenge for a title shot soon.
- 2/3 Falls - Torin Caelum vs. Santon the Loner for the Galaxian Championship Torin Caelum defeated Santon the Loner with a CAELUM'S GRIP at 1:09 Santon the Loner defeated Torin Caelum with a surprise pin at 32:59 Torin Caelum defeated Santon the Loner with an abdominal stretch at 54:27 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Incredible.
Torin Caelum walked in and scored the first fall in a minute. The champ was here to win.
But Santon had other ideas. He took everything Caelum had and returned it ten fold.
The action was insane and 30 minutes later we still didn't have a second fall. They had spilled outside numerous times and Santon target Torin Caelum's neck something awful. But Caelum kicked out of not one, not two, but three consecutive SPIKE PILEDRIVERS!
Santon and the crowd were stunned. A brawl erupted and they went outside. Caelum was busted open in no time and Santon soon followed in dramatic fashion!
Santon, the Loner, took off his mask! He was wearing face paint beneath! That paint was soon smeared with his own blood, tho as Torin Caelum retaliated on the outside.
Back in the action swung back to Santon and he secured the second fall.
They had already taken each other to their limits, but pushed even further they had hardly and blood or sweat left to give.
Santon scored near falls, but amazingly the champ was still in it!
He battled back and with a rib breaker off the ropes was able to transition into an abdominal stretch which he rolled over for the slick pinning combo.
Bloody, battered, barely standing, but still Galaxian champion, Torin Caelum.
Overall Card Rating: 2.45

GWF Classics #68: The Main Event 07.04.2079 from Alpheratz Sun Tower, Andromeda
- Show Opening - The Main Event emanates from the Alpheratz Tower on Andromeda tonight! And itβs a very special card as we kick off the first ever Filsinger Cup Tournament! The winner will be granted a title shot at a further date and, of course, the prestige of being the first winner of what is sure to become a coveted prize in the GWF.
The blocks have been drawn up based on our current singles rankings, tho not without controversy as Caiman is forced to sit it out after his suspension and Mangus is being passed over after his recent actions in and out of the ring against Commander Sam. Ricken Prince, however, in spite of the injuries suffered at Caimanβs hands has announced he WILL compete tonight!
Filsinger Cup I Block A: Omega, Commander Sam, Mimic, Hechilles Block B: Morpheus, Santon, Keller, Ricken Prince
We also have as our main event a contest for the GWF Tag Team Titles! Defiance will defend against their heated rivals, Paladin Power, in a POW rules match!
- Filsinger Cup Block A - Mimic vs. Commander Sam Commander Sam defeated Mimic with a slingshot suplex at 6:51 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Sam came to the ring with barbed wire wrapped around his forearm!
"Mangus! I hate that I have to wait six months to get my hands on you. But I'll be carrying this with me a reminder of the Cosmic Warfare we'll wage... Inside a Barbed Wire Steel Cage!"
Mimic hit the ring next and things got off to a hot start. Mimic scored a couple near falls right out of the gate, but Sam came roaring back.
The action would spill outside and Sam's brawling skills won out. After a near fall of his own, things would see saw until a slingshot suplex virtually out of no where scored Sam the win and scores two points in the Filsinger Cup Tournament!
- Filsinger Cup Block B - Santon the Loner vs. Ricken Prince Ricken Prince defeated Santon the Loner with a ROYAL DECREE at 6:27 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Santon is coming off an interesting time in his career. Scoring his biggest victory ever, he became the GWF Champion. It was short-lived, however as he lost to heated rival, Screw. He came up short in a title shot against Torin Caelum, but could the Filsinger Cup be his shot at redemption?
Ricken Prince returns from injury early and you gotta believe he's looking for any chance to make a statement, score an early win, and get a leg up early in the tournament. And, of course, there's no doubt that Santon will have to look out for the under handed tactics of, Prince.
This one was a fast and furious brawl. Santon had the early control, but Prince bounced back and would beat Santon pillar to post in and out of the ring. He hit ROYAL DECREE to score a huge win!
Cosmos vs. Tantalis Cosmos defeated Tantalis with a Running Lariat at 14:18 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: The Gamemasters entered together as did the Estonians. But this match would be one on one between Cosmos and Tantalis.
Cosmos came out swinging and was clearly looking to put Tantalis away early. Parsec tried to get involved a couple of times, but Star Warrior was having none of it and the contest was fair and, surprisingly even in spite of Cosmos' hot start.
Tantalis scored a nearfall, and tried to tap Cosmos out, but the youngster got fired up and brutalized the Estonian with some stiff strikes. A running lariat sealed the deal and the Gamemasters have scored two wins in singles competition. Perhaps refuting the Estonians big talk earlier this year.
- Filsinger Cup Block A - Omega vs. Hechilles Omega defeated Hechilles with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 6:23 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Omega came out swinging early, but Hechilles bounced right back and they jockeyed for position. There was some excellent chain wrestling and both men looked good.
Hechilles took control, but it wasn't to be as Omega bounced back and wore him down with some strong holds.
Eventually he hit a flying leg drop and followed it up with the TOMAHAWK THRUST to score the win.
Solid, if quick match.
- Filsinger Cup Block B - Morpheus vs. K.O. Keller K.O. Keller defeated Morpheus with a DQ at 21:53 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: These two have had a lot bad blood brewing and this match only added fuel to the fire. In an out and out brawl, KO Keller had no problems taking things outside and bending the rules to press his advantage.
Morpheus had trouble getting anything started, but he had flurries here and there and every comeback was an opportunity to turn the tides.
They seemed to spend just as much time out of the ring as they did in and that's where it ended. Keller got away with using a chair early on, but when Morpheus tried to even the odds, the ref saw it and called for the DQ.
Morpheus was hot and the fans didn't seem too happy at the outcome either. After Keller's name was announced, Morpheus went after him and they continued fighting after the bell!
Officials were finally able to separate them, but this rivalry had boiled over and there's no telling what will happen, especially as Keller gets the win and the points, while Morpheus now starts the tournament behind the proverbial 8-ball.
- POW Rules - Paladin Power vs. Defiance for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Blood defeated Solar Flare with a SCAR TISSUE at 11:01 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Wow! The tag champs make a huge statement in this one. Jammer and Blood looked like a well oiled machine and just steam-rolled over the challenger. This rivalry has gone back and forth over the years, but lately Defiance has Paladin Power's number.
Excellent tag work by Blood and Jammer prevented Solar Flare from ever tagging out and good continuity led to near falls for Jammer including his finisher, but it was Blood that got the submission with SCAR TISSUE as Jammer cut off the ring.
Defiance have secured their spot as tag champs. Who will be the next challenger? Looks like the only threats are the Estonians or the Gamemasters at this point and that feud has legs, to say the least...
Overall Card Rating: 3.17

Hey there. I'm a big Early Classics era fan. I barely have time to play the game these days, so stumbling on your fed and reading it was a real treat! It brought back a lot of good memories. I like your recap/layout style too.
I had Screw and Santon do battle a few times but never really got a feud going between them. Kind of hard to do promos with two guys that can't talk, LOL.
Paladin Power vs. Defiance feud was awesome for me.
I left off at the start of 2079 so looking forward to seeing where you go with it.
